Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 117)

Hallo,

... it's kind of funny - the last weeks we had Sundays which deserved this name. Yesterday everything was grey and temperatures less than 10 ° C but today the sun is shining from a blue sky. So I thought it would be a good idea having an autumn rose waving out of the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug today... *smile* Well, to be honest, it was in fact my turn today, after our two runaways Gingham and Fleur hosted the Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" during the last two weeks it was about time to get back to the chronological presentation.

We're lucky to have roses in our garden still... our roses recovered well after the last winter which was very hard. Here in Northern Germany most of the rose bushes were damaged due to heavy frost - and our "summer" (which in fact doesn't deserve this title) wasn't rosefriendly at all. But fall has shown a friendly face so far. Let's hope this will go on like this, because the leaves already start to change their colours - and when the time comes for getting rid of the dead leaves on the lawn it would be nice having enjoyed a golden October before!

*kicher*
But it's still another week until October arrives - and speaking of enjoying... it would be a great idea to enjoy a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" later on, don't you agree? Having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncofffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And if you're lucky, the cake might be a yummy apple-pie! *wink* I'm wishing you loads of fun with that later on - and of course a great week which will already be the last one of September. And I have a little advice for you from the Rosebeary among the BiWuBears: Take your time to stop and smell the roses as long as they're still blooming. Or maybe you should do yourself a little favour and spend some money on a flower bouquet... this would look very pretty on your table during the next Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" for sure! *giggle*

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Rosey

Oh, I LOVE Roses! Birgit, I am happy to know your roses recovered from the hard winter! Mine are still offering a stray bloom or two... but they had a hard HOT summer here... so they stopped blooming earlier than I am used to! Enjoy your apple pie! (Mine is still not baked... I am too busy playing.... I mean making tiny furniture!!!):)

Euch eine schöne Woche
wünscht

Hello
In Denmark they promise us about. 18 degrees, Tuesday and 3 days ahead I hope they are right.
Yes flowers in vases, it is beautiful to light up on a gray autumn day. A good idea, I will do today. Maybe I should bake a cake after your recipe, and go to visit in blog land.
Have a nice day.

Hi friends! She IS an autumn rose, this gorgeous little BiWuBäerchen in the Kaffe mug :D!! I've worked in the garden onsaturday because it was lovely sunny weather and yesterday, well, it was family day with a lot of rain and thunder :(!! I've enjoyed my last flowers in garden and you've seen them: I made some of them in miniature to enjoy in winter, when they are gone.
Warm hugs, Ilona

Ach Birgit,
das Wetter macht eh was es will.
