Etwas hiervon, etwas davon

Hallo,

... during the last days I've been able to improve my knowledge about curses in the language of Old Babylon... Birgit's computer got new hardware and she had to renew all of her software and rearrange everything. But after a lot of work everything seems to be where it should be according to Birgit and looks how it should look according to Birgit.

Because she didn't have much time left besides her computer I'm going to show to you today only some little things Birgit has made for the new witch tower. But of course - it's always the little things that bring the project to life in the end. Well, if Birgit managed to bring life in the house... eh... in the tower you'll have to decide for yourself. I will simply show you what Birgit has done - and we're going to start with the oven.

I thought this was already done - but Birgit thought, there was still something missing. Can you spot the difference?

Yes, Birgit added the dragon head which was given to us as a gift by Margriet some time ago because in her opinion it was the perfect place for it. To help your memory here's a picture from our archive.

But of course Birgit had to spread a little paint on it, a little bit of Birgit's special touch was mandatory.  *giggle* Wait a moment, I'm going to show it a little bit closer.

Looks great, doesn't it? But where the oven is the sink can't be far away... *giggle* This one is indeed finished but of course when the piece is finished it's time for the decoration. And that's what Birgit has begun with, at least in the lower parts (Gremlin on bottle made by Nicky Cooper - looks like she gave up her shop).

But Birgit also needed a small shelf for the upper floor - and she decided to do that on her own. At first this made me wonder because Birgit working with wood is ususally a no-go due to her arm problems. But I should have known better - because Birgit simply took a few bought crates/boxes painted by her.

Exactly these ones. And these should be turned into a shelf - okay, why not, a simple task... one should think and maybe it would have been simple in result if for example I had built that shelf: Stack up the boxes and done. But we're talking aobut Birgit here and that means we're also talking about her vision of "Witchy Chic"... and that's the reason why the shelf Birgit has built looks like this now:

Ohne Zweifel - VERY WITCHY!!! ;O)
VERY WITCHY indeed!!! *grin* And one thing is for sure: The new witch tower and its decoration are growing piece by piece and step by step... ;O)

I love what you did with the dragonhead!!! It is much more stunning now it's painted! Now I know what to do with mine :-)
The crates look great....I think Birgit has a little magic too, otherwise those crates would never stay together like this LOL

Hee hee... that is Wonderfully witchy magical shelf-building that Birgit has accomplished! And the Dragon head is painted beautifully and positioned in the perfect place! I can't wait to see it all together in the Tower!
I am glad Birgit was able to update her computer successfully... I am Sure it had something to do with the Babylonian curses... they can be very powerful!!
(I had also noticed that Nicky's web page is gone.... wonder if anyone knows what happened?)

Sans! hat gesagt…

No no , the stove is not done! Now you must make the dragon head breathe fire ! :):) More new curse words?

I really love how elaborately witchy every thing is. Our ladies (the witches) will be so thrilled with your attention to detail. Witchy chic at its best, truly!

I also love those crates. Will be very nice for any rustic setting.

I need a new computer too!
