Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 175) und Willkommen im November

Hallo,

... today I'm going to tell you the recipe how to make one post out of two! All it takes: A "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup, a wisdom calendar and the blogbeary... add some coffee, cake and nice thoughts and voilà - we're ready to say welcome to November while having Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch"!

Well, honestly speaking... the Halloween party at the Witch tower lasted long... it was splendid... and we had loads of fun... but strange somehow... the following day I didn't feel like spending time with calendars and blogs. Birgit thinks I might have had one, two, three, four mugs of dragon blood too much... oh my goodness... not me, not at all. But I don't have the slightest idea what might have caused the headache I had at Friday... *tweet* But now it's time to say hello to November... and although I didn't feel well last Friday I still was helping Birgit with updating her calendars. Once a gentlebear, always a gentlebear... even with an aching head. But I didn't feel good enough for the photoshooting - so we're doing all of this in one turn today. The calendar shows a beautiful picture - I really like how the light shines through the trees. And the saying is also very nice, comes from Mary Anne Radmacher. Don't know who she is, but she said (as always I'm not going to quote and try to say it in my own poor English instead) that courage doesn't always come with a loud roar. Sometimes it might be a silent voice speaking at the end of the day: Tomorrow I'll try it again.

True - and in the sense of Winston Churchill who once said success is standing up one time more than falling down. And some kind of comfort might be found in what philosopher Philippa Carstensen once said about the many ways leading to the goal and that you only have to decide for one.

Also, habt keinen Trennungsschmerz, gönnt Euch und Euren lieben mal wieder was Gutes, egal ob Kaffeeklatsch, Blumenstrauß oder Weihnachtsgeschenk. *schmunzel*
Sometimes it comes in quite handy having a little decision support... here's the advice a little flutterybeary: The best way to reach the goal of having a great Sunday is of course the one to enjoy a nice, comfy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch". And for this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on, having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four cups of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And as always I'm wishing to you a great week on top and for sure a great November, too - let's try to make it a colourful one instead of a grey one. And because Christmas isn't that faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away anymore here comes another practical advice for you from the US-journalist Ambrose Bierce who once said money is a blessing we're enjoying when we're getting rid of it. So, don't fear any pain caused by sepearating from your money, treat yourself or your dear ones with something nice, may it be a "Kaffeeklatsch", a flower bouquet or a Christmas present. *smile*

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Flutterby

Hmmmm I don't like the sound of that headache! Poor you. Of all the people I worry about being sick, I worry about you the most, so please please please, do everything you can to get well , ok?

As usual, I love all the quotes. And I don't like winter because poor Birgit and her ever faithful shovel will be hard at work again.

Oh, Flutterbeary! So Sorry about the headache... but I can understand... a party is a party after all! I love the sayings and I am right behind you with trying to think about Christmas! It was quite a week over here too, on top of which we set our clocks back last night instead of last week... so today is turning clocks back and calendars forward.... just trying to catch up with all that TIME that is rushing by (now that it is unfrozen of course!)!!! ;) But I like the getting rid of the money part best.... gotta go do some of that now that Christmas is coming!!! :)

Ich wünsche euch einen schönen November!
