Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 216)

Hallo,

... and once more it's time for yet another "Kaffeeklatsch! Last week our Azurro tried to compensate the lack of blue at the sky with his fur colour... *smile* Well, after one of the longest and hottest summers in Northern Germany since years we are finding ourselves now all of a sudden in something that feels like autumn. And somehow from day to day darkness comes earlier... Birgit says she would already think about lighting some candles.

*grins*
But maybe some may wonder now how I, Amselino, fit into this early fall... because the song of the blackbirds is for sure connected to spring and early summer (Maybe I need to explain this: A blackbird in German is "Amsel"... And Amselino is the name of the blackbird living in our real garden together with his wife Amselina, so that's where I got my name from). But it's very easy to explain the appearance of a blackbird beary in late summer: It was my turn today! *LOL* Because after Azurro I was the one hopping from Birgit's needle. And don't worry - I'm not going to sing, I better leave this to our feathery Amselino, he's so much better with this. We BiWuBearies aren't very good singers, we have other talents... for example when it comes to eating cake we are unbeatable... *grin*

Wisst Ihr, was passiert, wenn man Birgit darauf hinweist? ;O)
But that's a good keyword... Let's not forget it's Sunday today and if the weather is unfriendly a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" is for sure a great idea. Nevertheless... even if the weather is really fine a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" is a great idea... *teehee* Anyhow I'm wishing to you later on much fun while having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing to you a great week on top - half of August has already passed, incredible... And as some very dear lady pointed out lately (*waving-to-Melli*) there are only 19 weeks left until Christmas. Do you know what happens when mentioning this to Birgit? Her reaction goes like this: AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! ;O)

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Amselino

Ulrike

It sure is lovely to see you in the Kaffeklatch Mug, Amselino! And with a smile like yours, you do not need to sing to make people happy!!! But when you mention the 19 weeks business.... I too am screaming AAAAGGGGHHH!!!! NOT enough time!!! You can have no idea how many un-started and half-finished projects there are with the "C" word attached... not to mention all the "Dreams" that start to grow! (Well, we all know it is a Magical and Dream-filled time of year!) I know for a Fact that Birgit is already way ahead of me... she has a Christmas Market.... and Fluby HAS an advent calendar with 24 drawers to open!!! *Sigh*
(Enough Moaning from me!) We still have 19 weeks... and Summer is not Quite gone..... and I am in the Middle of Playing with Birds in a Park.... (should the blackbirds arrive???):):) Well, I will think about it while I have my Sunday Morning cake!!!
You never know when inspiration will strike!!!

Try to stay in the moment, Amselino! You don't want to get Birgit too worked up! ;-) This time frame you mentioned may call for an additional piece of cake. Would that be five, then? :-D xo Jennifer

Oh gosh, I have so much to do before Christmas comes - not enough weeks - mild panic. Perhaps a coffee and cake are in order to calm me down.
