4. Advent

After the terrible things happening in Berlin we had to change our headline of course... an invitation to a tour at a Christmas Market didn't sound so good anymore. Our thoughts are with the victims, their dear ones and all the helpers... but our post stays the way it was, we decided it should not be changed!

Hallo,

... we can't deny the sound of the ticking anymore... of the countdown until Christmas! And today we're going to lit the fourth and last candle of the Advent wreath - which means it's really time for a tour at the BiWuBeary Christmas Market! So far Rosey and I have only shown you the single stalls but it's for sure the little stories happening here that make our Christmas Market vivid... and the friends we meet over there.

So, if you can spare a little time just come along with us!

*schmunzel*
Anyhow - in case you should have looked forward to ride on a real dragon... forget it! We too don't have the tiniest chance to climb at least for one time on Tschang's back... But Sunny is looking forward to this the whole year long - that's why we all stand aside for him. *smile*

Of course Borthud Skullington is always keeping an eye on his dragon friend...

... while it's Arthud's turn to be in charge of the magical sales cart and to secure the supply of hot dragon blood because Magica and Mysteria de Spell are just taking a little break for a chat.

I wonder if there is another Christmas Market where two witches meet for a cup of hot dragon blood with a guardian angel beary and an extremely handsome looking flutterybeary (*grin*)?

And speaking of this... Mikey is of course not the only angel you are able to meet here. As in every year one of the Goebel angels is in charge to decorate the big Christmas tree together with Jolly.

*lach*
And as in every year both of them always find another branch where it's totally necessary to hang another bauble or where for sure a star is still missing... *LOL*

Azurro dagegen scheint Weihnachtsgeschenke finden zu wollen...
I suppose Azurro is on the quest for Christmas gifts...

... I really hope he is going to find one for me. *tweet* But there can't be any doubt about Holly's decision; after studying the offer of Christmas baubles with interest she will decide for her favorite combination in red and green in the end.

Amselino too has a hard time to make a decision looking at all those yummy treats...

... genau wie Ruby Forty. Immerhin hat sich dieses Goebel-Engelchen schon entschieden...
... as well as Ruby Forty. But after all this Goebel angel was able to make a decision...

Looks like Lucky really likes her gingerbread chain... but of course these two don't notice anything like this as usual.

What else to suppose - of course also in this year our Herzbube is looking deeeeeeply into the eyes of his Lavendelinchen. *smile* Somewhere else they're having interesting chats - Erdbärchen and Sally are just discussing whether the next round should be for cookies or for cake...

... and Granny Smith enjoys his mulled apple wine while the Goebel angel sings "Adeste fidelis" to him... well, I really hope Rosey will not start to join in... *teehee*... eh... ooops... let's better go on (I really hope Santa didn't hear this... *pant*)

Anyhow - Mon Chéri is just discussing with teddy the advantages of cherry punch compared to other punch variations...

... while Bowler keeps in mind that he is for sure a patient guy. *giggle* Speaking about patience... well, this is for sure something the sales bear of a very special booth needs as usual...

Kein Kommentar!
No comment! (Nevertheless - I still believe at last in two years Sabienchen will have saved enough money to buy the whole booth!) And of course there's also the role model in charge - this year it's our Ele. He has in fact managed to have all his Christmas gifts together...

*lach* Der neue Verkaufskarren steht derweil recht einsam herum...
... but maybe he is able to be this fast because every year Fant's only wish is a big bag filled with peanuts. *LOL* The new sales cart is standing around a little deserted and lonesome...

So far there's nobeary being responsible for this - but that's something that is going to change somewhen, that's for sure. *wink* Yes, this year it is once more absolutely nice at our BiWuBeary Christmas Market...

... and of course we are going to have loads of fun once more there... a little later... because now it's time to lit the 4th candle at the Advent wreath and to enjoy a nice Adventsundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch". And because I can for sure need one or better a few more good points in Santa's Golden Book (It was only yesterday when I was once more caught in the act having my paw in the cookie jar... rats... As I told you, I am really in need for some more good points...)  I have invited a good friend from the Witch Tower to join us today. Just among us - with this I'm giving the greatest Christmas joy to my little sister (and I really suppose to get one or a few more good points for this)... and as a little side effect I will also be saving energy at Christmas Cottage - with Rosey beaming all over her face when looking at Magicus de Spell I really need less lamps... *teehee*

Aber nun wollen wir wie immer am 4. Advent... äh... hallo???!!! Rosey!!! Ich sagte "WIR"!!!???
But now as usual at the 4th of Advent we are going to... eh... hello???!!! Rosey!!! I just said "WE"!!!???

*lach*
Okay, I get it... there's no more aid to expect from this side anymore. *shows-a-broad-grin* Well, in that case I need to do this with the assistance of Wuff... because as usual we are going to tell the tale of the four candles at the 4th of Advent... because it's so beautiful... and because the last 4th of Advent was sooooo very long ago... *LOL*

The Four Candles (written by Elsbeth Bihler, told in poor English by us)

Four candles were burning at the Advent wreath. All was silent. So silent that you could hear the candles beginning to talk. The first candle sighed and said: "My name is Peace. My light is shining, but the humans don't live in peace, they don't want me." Her light grew smaller until she went out.

The second candle was flickering and said: "My name is Faith. But I am superfluous. People don't want to hear about God anymore. There's no more reason for me to keep on burning." A breeze of air blew across the room and the second candle died.

Silent and very sad the third candle started to speak: "My name is Love. I have no more strength left to burn. People are pushing me aside. They only care for themselves and not about those they should love." And with a last flickering this light also faded.

Then a child entered the room. It was looking at the candles and said: "But you should be burning and not be faded away." And it almost started to cry. Now the fourth candle started to speak. It said: "Don't be afraid. As long as I am burning, we can lit the other candles again. My name is Hope." With a match the child took the light from this candle and lit the other candles again.

We're wishing to all of you a wonderful 4th of Advent with a nice, cozy Adventsundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" having one, two cups of tasty Adventsundayafternooncoffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Adventsundayafternooncake. We hope you will be able to enjoy the last days until Christmas to the fullest! ;O)

So.

(Hauptsache Du denkst dabei an ihn.) :)

Frohen 4. Advent & eine angenehme Woche
wünschen Euch

Nina & Fudge

Hallo liebe Freunde :D! Have I ever told you that I so LOVE your Christmas market?? Its cosiness, all the BiWu-bearies and their love for each other, the harmony and each of the wonderful and original Christmas stalls.....it's too much to mention it all, everything is in the spirit of Advent and Christmas time, I love it all!! Fluby, thank you for the grand tour along your Christmas market and, please, tell Birgit that she has made wonderful pictures, which show the atmosphere just right. I wish I was there with you all ;)! But I just wonder: who will take care for the new cart..???
Within a week we will celebrate Christmas, yes, time flies! Fluby, I hope you have enough good points in the golden book of Santa??
Wishing you all a nice, cosy 4th of Advent/Sunday evening.
