Ein paar haben wir noch...

Hallo,

*grins*
... today I'm not able to show you much new stuff... and that's why I'm offering a riddle to you now: Does anybody have an idea what is shown on this photo? Besides the very handsome flutterybeary of course... *grin*

Well, I'm going to tell you the riddle's solution at the end of this post... until then I'm just going to show you some more pictures of Gertie Gumthrop's retirement home. Last time we've shown you mainly the greenery of the roof garden - but Birgit has also added green to the exterior walls:

This way it matches well with the living room...

And of course Birgit didn't forget about the exterior staircase... The dragon heads have found a new home and also the planting table as well as the owl shelf are now in place - but look at it yourselves:

Now Birgit made one more big step with the roof garden and the exterior. And everything's already prepared for the next step - then it will be showtime for these guys:

Birgit has bought these mushrooms long time ago from Georgia Marfels and has now decided it was time to use them... together with these:

Without any doubt homemade by Birgit *LOL* - as well as these pumpkins.

Well, I suppose you've noticed by now... we're heading towards the details of the garden... and one of these details are the Pebbletons. What? You would like to know who or what Pebbletons are? But you've already just met one of them... *giggle* So now I'm telling you the solution of my little riddle - the piece hardly to be noticed at the first photo was a Pebbleton in its primordial state. After meeting Birgit's brushes and being treated with half pearls and "moss" a Pebbleton looks like this:

And who would have guessed but Pebbletons do multiply very fast...

Must be because of spring time... *grin* And this much is already for sure: There will be many eyes on guard in Gertie's garden... and I'm still undecided whether I like this or not... *gulp* I'm going to reflect this a bit more... and of course I'm also going to report what will be Birgit's next step... ;O)

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Flutterby

Bin begeistert was da so entstanden ist, einfach genial.

Dear Fluby (and Birgit) those Pebbletons are WONDERFUL creations!!! I absolutely LOVE them! And also the toadstools families (not quite sure of their names!).... they all have such wonderful character!!! This is really going to be a "Lively" Garden LOL!!!
I bet Birgit will not believe this, but this morning when I woke up I thought "I bet Birgit will put Gertie's Planting worktable under the stairs....!" Truly I did!!! I do think it works perfectly there, and leaves all the space above for all the (ahem) plants..... and rocks and other things with eyes! LOL! (I can almost agree with Fluby that it might not be a "comfortable" garden... not so restful to have little faces staring at you and talking behind your back! LOL! Especially if you need to sometimes "Harvest" them! :0( And think of the unsettling feeling if you are up there at night and there is a lot of Whispering...! These Magical gardens do present some "issues" for the tender-hearted types! LOL! As ususal, I can't wait to see more of this Fantastic Amazing Creation!!!

So beautiful!! I love every magical detail you've placed into this wondrous build! The colored mosses make this piece perfectly spell weaved!

Ohhhh I love Love the Pebbletons, they are the cutest solid little fellows they look to make any garden happy ;)

Wonderful work on this, I know Gertie will be so happy to work her spells in this place!

The Pebbletons are super cute. Gertie must be the happiest retired witch to take care of them and all the other cheerful characters who'll inhabit her
magic garden.
Great creative work again!
Hugs, Drora

LG,
Nina
