Happy Lutherween 2018

Hallo,

 

so schnell kann's manchmal gehen... Und damit meine ich nicht, dass es schon wieder einen Post von uns gibt *lach*, nein, ich meine den heutigen Feiertag. Da hatten wir doch letztes Jahr in Deutschland einen Ausnahmefeiertag im Gedenken an Martin Luther, der vor 500 Jahren die Reformation mit seinen 95 Thesen eingeläutet hat... und schwupps… inzwischen ist der 31. Oktober bei uns in Schleswig-Holstein dauerhaft zum Feiertag geworden. Auch schön... vor allem, weil wir Nordlichter in Sachen Feiertage doch etwas schlechter gestellt sind als unsere Mitmenschen im Süden der Republik. Da wir ja aber bedingt durch unsere Freunde vom Hexenturm auch sehr viel mit Halloween zu tun haben, nennen wir diesen besonderen Feiertag hier bei uns im Haus ja "Lutherween". *grins*
… sometimes things got their own fast dynamics… And I'm not talking about the fact that there's already another post from us *LOL*, no, I'm talking about today's holiday. Last year we've had an extraordinary work-free holiday in Germany celebrating 500 years of reformation - it's not clear whether it's a legend or a historical fact but it's generally supposed that Martin Luther hammered his 95 Theses at the All Saints' Chuch in Wittenberg October 31st. But in the meantime Reformation Day was proclaimed a regular work-free holiday in our state Schleswig-Holstein. Really nice... especially because us people in the northern states of Germany are a bit disadvantaged compared to the people in the southern states when it comes to work-free holidays. And because due to our friends from the witch tower we're also very related to Halloween we're calling this special holiday "Lutherween" here in our house. *grin*

 

Da wir heute also einen besonderen Feiertag haben, wollen wir Euch heute auch etwas Besonderes zeigen... unser fertiges Häuschenprojekt! Ich hatte ja beim letzten Mal schon angedeutet, dass da noch was fehlt. Strawberry Hut und Flower Hut sind zwar inzwischen fertig gebaut und eingerichtet, aber mal ehrlich... das konnte es ja noch nicht sein. Was fehlt also noch? Kleiner Hinweis gefällig? *schmunzel*
And because today we're having a special holiday we would like to show you something special… our finished house project! The last time I had already mentioned that something was still missing. The buildings of Strawberry Hut and Flower Hut may be finished by now… but honestly… this couldn't be the end by now. So what was missing still? Would you like a little hint? *smile*
 

 

Genau... ein Garten! Irgendwo müssen die blühenden Sträucher, die Birgit für uns gemacht hat, ja schließlich hin... *lach* Und zu diesem Zweck hat Birgit uns zwei Holzschachteln überlassen, die haben wir passend angestrichen und dann kam erst mal ein Rasen drauf.
Sure... a garden! Because these blooming shrubs Birgit has made for us needed a place to stay… *LOL* And for this reason Birgit gave us two wooden boxes which got a matching coat of paint and were covered with a lawn afterwards.
 

 

Und weil man einen Garten auch unbedingt genießen muss, haben wir als Nächstes zwei Bänke gebaut.
And because it's also important to simply enjoy a garden we've built two benches next.
 

 

Bevor wir dann so richtig mit dem Garten losgelegt haben, haben erst noch die Dachfenster ein paar Blümchen bekommen.

 Before we were really starting with the garden the roof windows got a few flowers first.

 

Und nun konnte es endlich richtig losgehen! Wir haben einen Weg angelegt und die ersten Pflanzen gesetzt:

Wie Ihr seht, haben die Bänke auch schon ihren Platz bekommen. Weiter geht's!

Ist es Euch aufgefallen? Wir haben noch ein ganz wichtiges Detail ergänzt... schließlich soll man ja auch sehen, dass es sich hier um Strawberry Hut und Flower Hut handelt! *strahl*

Ich habe für mein Häuschen sogar eine der Erdbeeren geopfert, die Tatiana mir zu Weihnachten geschenkt hat. (Link zu Tatianas Blog: http://mylittlelittledream.blogspot.com/) Ich hätte auch nie gedacht, dass es mal so weit kommt, dass ich freiwillig eine Erdbeere hergebe... *grins* Und hier kommt nun das fertige Strawberry Hut:

Aber Moment mal... psssst… hört Ihr das auch? Hört mal genau hin... da sind leise Stimmen, ich habe gerade ganz deutlich das Wort "Erdbeerjunkie" vernommen! Und eine andere leise Stimme, die was von "Miss Pretty in Pink" gesagt hat!
But wait a moment… psssst… are you hearing this too? Listen close… there are tiny voices, I was able to clearly hear the word "strawberry junkie"! And there was another tiny voice saying something sounding like "Miss Pretty in Pink"!

Überraschung!!! *strahl* Birgit hat es möglich gemacht, dass in unseren Mini-Häuschen auch ein Mini-Fluby und eine Mini-Rosey wohnen! Wie toll ist das denn??? Birgit hat dafür einen kleinen Teddy von Safari (Link zur Webseite von Safari: https://www.safariltd.com/) bearbeitet - einige von Euch werden das Kerlchen kennen:
Surprise!!! *beams-with-joy* Birgit made it possible that in our tiny houses there will be living a Mini-Fluby and a Mini-Rosey! How great is that??? Birgit worked with a small teddy by Safari (link to Safari's website: https://www.safariltd.com/) - some of you might happen to know this little chap:
 

 

Birgit hat kein Detail vergessen - weder Roseys Kopfband noch meine Original-Flatterbärchenflügel.
Birgit did not forget any detail - neither Rosey's head band nor my original flutterybeary wings.

 Wir sind begeistert!!! Und so können nun Mini-Fluby und Mini-Rosey sich genau wie der Original-Fluby und die Original-Rosey manchmal ganz gut verstehen und manchmal auch nicht so gut... ich meine, die Mini-Rosey hat ja genau so einen Pinkfimmel wie die Original-Rosey alias meine kleine Schwester, ist ja kein Wunder, dass dem Mini-Fluby da manchmal ein "Miss Pretty in Pink" über die Lippen kommt und... äh... Moment mal... Rosey… also jetzt die Original-Rosey… besteht darauf, dass ich anspreche, dass der Mini-Fluby ebenfalls diese klitzekleine Schwäche für Erdbeeren hat wie der Original-Fluby… also ich. *grins* Genau genommen hat sie auch gerade wieder das Wort "Erdbeerjunkie" benutzt... tsssss… immer diese Übertreibungen... nur weil ich gerne Erdbeeren esse... und oft an Erdbeeren denke... ach ja... süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *seufz*… äh... wo war ich... ach ja... Mini-Fluby und Mini-Rosey möchten Euch gerne noch etwas ausrichten:
We are over the moon with this!!! Now the Mini-Fluby and the Mini-Rosey can get along sometimes well with each other and sometimes not so well like the Original-Fluby and the Original-Rosey do... I mean, the Mini-Rosey is a pink maniac just like the Original-Rosey aka my little sis' is, no surprise at all that Mini-Fluby can't help a "Miss Pretty in Pink"-remark is slipping from his lips every now and then and... eh... wait a moment… Rosey… I mean the Original-Rosey…she insists that I should also mention that the Mini-Fluby shares this teenytiny weakness for strawberries like the Original-Fluby… in other words me. *grin* To be exact she has just used the word "strawberry junkie" again… tssss… always these exaggerations… just because I like to eat strawberries… and often do think about strawberries… oh my… sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries… *sigh*… eh... where was I... oh yes… Mini-Fluby and Mini-Rosey would like to say a special greeting to you:

Recht haben die Beiden - da schließen sich die Original-Rosey und der Original-Fluby doch sofort an! ;O)
Those two are so right about this - the Original-Rosey and the Original-Fluby do agree with this for sure! ;O)

Und ich sehe gerade, unsere Freunde vom Hexenturm haben uns eine Nachricht geschickt... das funktioniert bei uns ähnlich wie in Gotham City mit dem Batsignal… *kicher* Es wird also höchste Zeit, dass wir uns aufmachen zur Halloween-Party in der magischen Welt - ich freue mich jetzt schon auf Ritter Kuniberts legendären Apfelkuchen "Schneewittchens Tod"... lecker! Also:
And I see right now that our friends from the witch tower have sent us a message… this works somehow like in Gotham City with the bat signal… *giggle* Now it's really time for us to make our way to join the Halloween party in the magical world - I'm already looking forward to enjoy Knight Kunibert's legendary apple pie called "Snow White's Death"... yummy! Wir wünschen Euch ein tolles Halloween - und für alle, die damit nichts am Hut haben, eben einen schönen Reformationstag oder einfach einen schönen letzten Oktobertag! Wenn Ihr feiert, habt viel Spaß - und wenn bei Euch kleine Geister, Hexen oder Monster vor Eurer Tür stehen und rufen "Süßes oder Saures!" dann seid Ihr hoffentlich gut gerüstet. *lach* Und wie immer gilt: Falls einer von Euch zufällig in einem besonders schönen Kürbisfeld einen kleinen Jungen mit einer Schmusedecke sitzen sieht, dann sagt bitte "Hallo" von uns zu Linus van Pelt! ;O)

We're wishing to all of you a great Halloween - and to all of you not caring about it maybe a nice Day of Reformation or at least a nice last day of October! If you are celebrating we hope you're having fun - and if little ghosts, witches or monsters are standing in front of your door yelling "Trick or Treat!" be sure to be prepared. *LOL* And as always: If by chance one of you might happen to meet a little boy with a security blanket sitting in a very neat pumpkin patch please say "Hello" from us to Linus van Pelt! ;O)

Ende Oktober...

nun ist der Herbst persönlich da und nicht nur als Eintrag auf dem Kalender...
… now autumn is here in person and not just as a calendar's notice…
         

 

Nachdem wir einen wunderschönen Spätsommer und einen wirklich Goldenen Oktober genießen durften, hat uns diese Woche der erste schwere Herbststurm erwischt. Und nicht nur das - als hätte man einen Schalter umgelegt, veränderte sich das Wetter von "T-Shirt reicht draußen" zu "Verdammt, wo war noch gleich der Schal???" *lach*  Höchste Zeit also, dass unsere Häuschen ein Dach über den Kopf bekommen! Und das war ein Fall für Birgit, denn sie ist ja unbeirrbar der Meinung, dass Farbe in Bärchenfell keine gute Idee ist... *hihi* Und so hat Birgit ihren Aquarellkasten rausgeholt und mit Farbe gekleckert - das sah am Ende so aus:
After having enjoyed a beautiful late summer and a true Golden October coming along as an Indian Summer we've been caught by the first heavy autumn storm this week. And even more - it was as if somebody had turned a switch; the weather was changing from "T-shirt is enough for going outside" to "Damn, where is my scarf???" *LOL* So it was really necessary that our little houses got a roof on top! And that was a true case for Birgit who refuses to change her opinion about paint in a beary fur not being a good idea… *teehee* That's why Birgit took her watercolours and started to spread paint - which looked like this in the end:

             

Könnte auch moderne Kunst sein... "Novemberabend" zum Beispiel... oder vielleicht "Asphalt im Nebel"... *kicher* Aber Birgit wollte das genau so haben und hat das Papier in Streifen und in die Streifen sozusagen Schindeln geschnitten. Übrigens ist Birgit ebenfalls unbeirrbar der Meinung, das große Scheren nicht in die Pfoten von kleinen Bärchen gehören... ganz ehrlich... so macht Hausbau echt Spaß. *grins*
Could also be modern art... "November Evening" for example… or maybe "Asphalt in the mist"... *giggle* But this is exactly what Birgit wanted to achieve and she continued with cutting the paper into stripes and with cutting somehow shingles into the stripes. Btw Birgit also refuses to change her opinion about big pairs of scissors not being meant for the paws of little bearies… honestly… building houses this way if fun for sure. *grin*

                  

Und nachdem Birgit viele, viele Schindelstreifen geschnitten hatte, konnte es ans Dachdecken gehen. Und daher... Trommelwirbel bitte... hier sind sie: Strawberry Hut und Flower Hut - mit Dach!
And after Birgit had cut many, many stripes of shingles we could start with covering the roof. So now… drumroll please… here they are: Strawberry Hut and Flower Hut - with roof!
               

 

Und Ihr erinnert Euch doch sicherlich noch an Roseys und mein bärsönliches Motto, oder?
I suppose you're still remembering Rosey's and mine bearsonal motto, don't you?

                 

Dafür hatten wir einen Plan - damit verkleiden wir die Dachfenster von innen. Leider war das sehr schwer zu fotografieren, aber ich denke, Ihr könnt Euch das vorstellen:
We had plans for these - we're going to cover the roof windows from the inside with them. Sadly this was hard to get on a photo but I suppose you'll be able to get the picture:

Meine kleine Schwester und ich sind echt stolz, was wir beide (mit ein gaaaaanz klein wenig Unterstützung von Birgit *grins*) hinbekommen haben. Irgendwie schade, dass die Häuschen nun komplett fertig gebaut sind...
My little sis' and I are really proud that both of us (with just a veeeeeery little support from Birgit *grin*) managed to do this. Somehow it's sad that the houses are now built completely...

            

… aber nur irgendwie... denn das war's noch nicht mit diesem Projekt, oh nein, da fehlt noch was, keine Frage! Aber das zeigen wir Euch demnächst, erst einmal möchten wir noch ein paar Fotos zeigen, die wir vor einigen Tagen gemacht haben. Es wird ja wohl mal wieder Zeit für "Und schon wieder jede Menge Fotos von BiWuBärchen im Garten", oder? *lach* Hier ist sie also - Folge 93903:

… but only somehow… because this wasn't yet the end of this project, oh no, there's still something missing, no doubt about it! But we're going to show this the next time, now we would like to show you some photos we have taken a few days ago. Well, it's actually time for "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden", isn't it? *LOL* So here it is - volume 93903:

            

Die Bilder sind alle am 14. Oktober entstanden - auch das Bild von Rosey in der Clematis! Nachdem sie durch die Sommerhitze fast eingegangen wäre, zeigt unsere Clematis nun, dass sie ein echter Kämpfer ist. Sie ist nicht nur wieder gut nachgewachsen, sondern blüht tatsächlich im Oktober... während nebenan unser Prunus schon die ersten Blätter verloren hat.
All of these pictures were taken October 14th - even the photo of Rosey in the clematis! After it had almost given up due to the summer heat our clematis shows now that it's a true fighter. Not only that it has grown well again but it's now actually blooming in October with our prunus alongside already throwing off its first leaves…
         

 

In diesem Sinne - genießt den Herbst... in welcher Form auch immer er sich präsentiert! ;O)
So - try to enjoy autumn… how ever it may show up! ;O)
