Gaudete!

 Hello,

it's us... at last! Well, save the best for last or so they say! And no, we did not start to become megalomaniac in the meantime claiming we are the best, the top of the tops - but hey, prove us wrong but this is for sure the best blog called "BiWBären on the Blog" hosted by the best two BiWuBeary blogbearies you will ever be able to find anywhere. And as we are in fact unique we can honestly say we are the best... even if it's only due to the lack of competition. *LOL* Okay, okay, enough fooling around (because I just heard Birgit cleaning her throat in the background and I don't want her to remind me of my account in the Golden Book of Santa). We're back just in time for Advent 3rd and this special Sunday has it's own title which is "Gaudete!" This is a Latin imperative telling us to rejoice... of course because Christ's birth is coming nearer... but in our modest opinion it also tries to remind us that it's important to enjoy this special Season.

One of the best helpers to enjoy Advent time is for sure an Advent calendar. And next to the usual ones (is it just me or is Birgit's calendar way bigger than Rosey's and mine??? Oh, what do you say... oh... yes, I suppose you're right... must be because Birgit is somehow bigger than us with our only-about-10-proud-beary-centimeters... *sigh*) we've also received a very special one coming along as an early Christmas gift from our dear friend Tinchen at the end of November. Had to be this way because it's a story Advent calendar called (translated by us) "Death comes through the chimney". But no need to worry, it's funny, not bloody and we really enjoy the routine of reading our daily episode during breakfast.

Link to Tinchen's blog: https://tapsis-baerenbande.blogspot.com/

Btw Tinchen being the longtime friend she is also thought of a certain BiWuBeary being in need of every good point in the Golden Book and said she wanted to help me a bit by gaining myself 24 extra good points this month. I LOVE this kind of story Advent calendar... and although Rosey is always helping too and gaining herself her own points I still get my share of 24... *Woohoo! ♫ 'Tis the season to be jolly... 𝅘𝅥𝅮 Fa la la la la, la la la laAnd I suppose nobody would ever think Rosey and I failed to gain us point 25 too... *broadgrin*

But next to taking care of our (and most of all my) account in the Golden Book Rosey and I also had some work to do at the end of November enabling us to show you now what was going on. Some of you may remember that one of our most beloved places during Christmas Season starts as a former kitchen table being stored for 11 months. But as soon as it is assembled and covered with a white velvet cloth the magic begins... it's turning into... *drumroll*: The BiWuBeary Christmas Market!

And as service is in our blogbeary DNA we've already placed the entrance gate with its trusted Welcome Committee consisting of Mr. Snowman and Mr. T to make it a bit easier for you to imagine what this is going to become. And to me this entrance gate has its own magic... Christmas magic! Wouldn't it be nice if this was a wishing gate? Hmm... what would I be wishing then?

Rosey (laughing): Perhaps for a huge pile of strawberries?
Flutterby (excited): Yes, this is a great idea. But I think I should better wish myself a really, really incredibly huge pile of strawberries.
Rosey (with a broad grin): I agree, this sounds better. But wait a minute... I have a suggestion: What about a - let's say - strawberry in the lifesize of a beary?
Flutterby (dreamily): Oh my, this would be a dream come true...
Erdbärchen: Hey together... did somebeary just call me???

Okay, we admit it... this was a planned joke. Hey, it's Gaudete and we shall be happy! *grin* And special thanks to our cousin Erdbärchen for helping us with this little visual joke. And perhaps we need to remind some of you that "Erdbärchen" does not only look like a fusion of a miniature bear and a strawberry but it's also in his name. Strawberry in German is "Erdbeere" and bear is "Bär" with the diminutive form being "Bärchen". And btw he's our cousin as he is no original BiWuBeary as he is the last bear Birgit made using a kit and not her own pattern. But enough of that stuff... next it took some work for Birgit which meant we and the gate had to go out of the way. For Birgit it's always the trickiest part... placing the booths, testing the lights and fiddling one single light chain into four booths. But she managed! Hooray! And if you might wonder: Teddy's booth has its own cable and toyland is run by a battery light chain... which lacked the batteries still when this photo was taken. *smile*

And next the salesbears appear to put up their goods... and as they asked last year to be bearsonally introduced we're keeping up with that. First in line when beginning from the right is as always Maggie from the "Glashütte" (= glass booth).

Next to her is Richard with his "Weihnachtsbäckerei" (= Christmas Bakery). Pssst... Richard... I hope you made an extra supply of Strawberry cakes for You-know-who??? *grin*

However, I could never decide if Richard's cakes are my favourites or after all the yummy candies and sweets Margret is offering at the "Zuckerbäcker" (let's just translate it with Candy Shop).

Next in line is Richy from the "Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" (= Wood art from the Ore Mountains) selling stunning traditional wooden pieces...

... next to the Toyshop which is run by all salesbearies and... eh...

Wait a minute...!!! Did you just see what I saw??? Rosey is nodding... okay, this needs some intervention right now!

Flutterby: Okay, Sabienchen! I can speak for Rosey and all followers of our blog too - tell us right away: What are YOU doing on this side of Richy's booth???
Sabienchen (with a bit of blush): Eh... well...
Richy (coming to aid as Fluby is not the only gentlebeary around): My, Fluby! She's so kind to help me place my goods. I mean... after all these years Sabienchen knows as good as I where everything needs to stand. (And with a broad grin) And sometimes even better than me, right?
Rosey (with a bright smile): And that's all?
Sabienchen (looking at Richy who sends her an encouraging smile): My... and it could be... after all these years being his admiring never-being-able-to-decide-what-to-buy-almost-customer that we came a little closer to each other year by year.
Rosey (cheerfully): Yessssssss... I always knew this needed to happen!!! This is so great... I'm really happy for you.
Flutterby: Me too... (continues with a broad grin) But I'm afraid I might be in need of getting myself a tuxedo soon for your wedding and I hate wearing clothes (sighs theatrically).
Richy (laughing): Calm down... we're not that far yet... but who knows what is still to come. But if this should ever happen... be sure there will be strawberry cake waiting for our wedding guests, Fluby. Promised!
Flutterby (with pretend-relief): I take your word for granted, Richy. Okay, we need to go further to Teddy's booth now. Mind your manners, you two! Not that we need to put some parental advisory on this blog...

After sharing a good and loud laughter Rosey and I reached Teddy's booth... Here he is - Teddy, the bear, the legend! Everybody knows... Teddy's Glühwein is the best. Must be because he's using a recipe from his Mother-in-law. *grin*

And although they haven't arrived yet they already sent their carts... it's so convenient if one is able to use magic. Here is the cart of the Witch Tower Crew with its two sides...

... and the yummy cart of our friend Einar, the official North Pole baker.

And that  was the introduction tour of our BiWuBeary Christmas Market... at least that's what I was thinking being happy that our job was done. But suddenly a voice called our names and this voice belonged to Jolly who is the Chief decorater of our Christmas Market.

Jolly: Ah, good to see you... two blogbearies being finished with their work duty having free time, just what I'm needing now. Come over here, I declare you to be volunteers.
Flutterby: Eh... what...
Jolly: Come over and join us, we need every paw.
Rosey: Hi, Mon Chéri... are you a... ehem... volunteer too?
Mon Chéri (with a broad grin): Yep, it's my turn this year. Us Angel bearies always send one victim... eh... volunteer to help Jolly.
Jolly: Could we please stop private chatting and start work??? Could we??? Fluby, take care of the new train... and Rosey, you can help us with the nativity. Go, go, go!!!

You may know by now the North Pole rule "Nobody ever messes with Ylvi" - but here at the BiWuBeary Christmas Market we have our own rule which is "Don't mess with Jolly when he's in his decorative mode". So we had no other choice than to help... and of course it's totally okay to help because if we want to have fun at our Christmas Market somebeary needs to put some work into that first. However, the other three were having fun together round the nativity and I was alone with the model train parts... *sigh*... which made my mind wander. What do you think: How many strawberries would go into such a train carriage in 1:1? What if I could find that out and write the amount on my wishing list for Santa and...

Jolly:
Huhuuu, Fluby!!! Anybody home???
Mon Chéri: Is it just me or does he have this strawberry face again?
Rosey (laughing): You're right, he certainly does. (And towards Flutterby): We're already done with the whole nativity and you're still not finished with putting up these few pieces. (grins) Let me guess... thinking about changes on your wishing letter to Santa? Now asking for many trains filled with strawberries?
Flutterby (very happily): Sis', you're the best. A whole train filled with strawberries... that's it. So far I was only thinking in the range of one single carriage full of strawberries but you're right... one should ever wish big.
Mon Chéri: I'm not so sure about it... if you're thinking big in that way then that's what is called greed.
Jolly: Whatever strawberries may be involved in Fluby's dreams or wishes, he shall go on with that. Meanwhile you are invited for coffee and cake being the traditional thanks from the sales bearies. Fluby, you can join us when you're finished... both with the train and your strawberry calculations.
Flutterby: Ha, only in your dreams, Jolly! See, I'm done. Oh, and I'm taking a piece of strawberry cake, please! And if I were you I would start to worry about the Golden Book as it's in fact very naughty to tease somebeary just because he has a teenytiny weakness for those sweet, red, juicy, aromatic fruits...

We then enjoyed a lovely cozy Kaffeeklatsch together with the salesbearies and yes, earned cake tastes even better than usual cake. *smile* And we hope you did this too today - enjoying a lovely cozy Adventsunday-"Kaffeeklatsch" with one, two cups of tasty coffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy cake. And with this we leave for today - and we're telling you no secret by saying that we're going to drop by soon again. Until then we're wishing you a wonderful rest of Advent time, no stress, much Christmas anticipation and leave you with letting you know that although the BiWuBeary Christmas Market wasn't officially open when we took these photos HE was already there doing what he shouldn't do but still does... *sigh*

And we really can't leave without pointing out that Naughty Boy is NO BiWuBeary! ;O)

Trick or TreatS

 Hello,

my, time flies! Once more it's that one day in the year when somebeary else is taking over "BiWuBären on the Blog". It's Halloween... and to me being the Major Witch of the Witch Towers it's a question of honor to bearsonally welcome you to a new post on this very special day. And the good thing about being a witch is that nobody or nobeary would ever think of not granting you such a modest wish. *giggle*

And as always I put myself in charge to work at our Magical Sales Shop while every magical being is preparing for the Night of Nights and hopefully finding out that some supplies are missing still and then dropping by or flying in at "De Spell's". Even witches and wizards need to make a living... *LOL* And I like working on this special day, although it's stressful with many customers being in a hurry everybody is in a cheerful mood and at the end of the day a wonderful party is waiting. And just among us... I prefer working here than participating in the party preparations. Take my word - even a very powerful beary witch like me doesn't want to stand in the way of the Magical Broom when he's doing the Halloween cleaning. Believe me... beneath the dust he also seems to sweep away any sense of humour for a day. *broadgrin*

And while Fluby and Rosey are on their way to the magical world - one in anticipation of many pieces of Knight Kunibert's famous apple pie "Snow White's Death" (btw that's what I call the magic of Halloween... if even the greatest strawberry addict in the world becomes an apple pie lover at least for one day) and the other one looking forward to meet my uncle. *grin* - they provided me with blog stuff I shall present to you. It's all about some things Birgit treated herself with - and now you know there's no typo in the headline. This is about treats... and who knows... perhaps also about tricks... like smuggling  volume 93941 of  "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden" into a post at Halloween hosted by a Major Witch. But do not fear... no picture flood:

And in case you may have wondered - Fluby and Rosey did not miss the chance to gain themselves some good points in Santa's Golden Book by helping Birgit once more with the monthly update of her many calendars. Well, there are rumours that especially one of them is in need of every good point... however, here comes the evidence photo:

And now it's time to show some new treats Birgit bought for the North Pole project - and as I must admit that I often have no idea what the use of some of these thingies might be or why somebody should ever need them Fluby and Rosey agreed to provide me with the necessary explanations. For example you're about to see a duct tape holder... I would never need it, why should I... muttering the right stick-together-spell will do the trick much better than duct tape ever could. But I understand that this might be helpful for non magical beings... so... here come our experienced blogbearies showing Birgit's latest stuff to you.

* * *

Hello from Rosey and me - and honestly... it makes us wonder why Magica insisted on hosting this post while making us do the work. Really... she's one clever and smart witch... *LOL* And because Magica de Spell already mentioned it we're starting right away showing the duct tape holder next to some other gorgeous 3d printed pieces Birgit bought from DollhouseDesign. A bouquet of all sorts of miniatures being dedicated for the North Pole project.

Link to the commercial website of DollhouseDesign: https://www.dollhousedesign.nl/en_GB/

Birgit also bought a cakestand, springform pans and a knife block for Einar's kitchen. The frames - and there are a few more of them - are meant for a very special purpose... but this is still a secret. However... one of you might be able to guess it. *wink* And the piece in the middle is meant to be a doll bed... but Birgit has other plans and is going to turn it into a special bed for Abby, the Christmas goose. And now let's have a closer look at the office set and the knife block:

Isn't this amazing - we're totally fascinated what is possible with 3D printing! Every knife can be taken out and the scissors even work... okay, when it comes to being movable. *grin* And the best thing is that you're able to choose the colors you need. It's easy to see why Birgit chose red and white for the knife block making it just perfect for the North Pole kitchen. And there's also a reason why the office set comes along in noble gold... it's meant for Ylvi's work desk. Well, we can't reveal much about Ylvi's work space yet but keep in mind that she is the Chief Elf of the Wishing Department... so the color gold might become quite important for her work area. *smile*

But sadly not all possible colors are available for all items in this shop. When Birgit bought a chair for Lasse's work desk (sad but true... even Christmas Elves need to go to school and have to do homework) she would have liked to have a transparent one but as this wasn't possible she decided for a color called "milky white" expecting this would be transparent too. And yes, it was... in some way... but not to Birgit's likings... and also not to Lasse's likings...

This way it did not fit into the color scheme of Lasse's room... but hey, these are the risks of ordering online. And my, problems of this kind are just solutions coming around in working clothes! *LOL* So it was time for a little makeover... and for a bit of that special Birgit touch. For some reasons which can not be explained here (but might be related to some special holiday at the end of the year which is coming closer so fast that every flutterybeary in need of good points can only panic... eh... where was I... oh yes...) Birgit happened to have plenty of leftovers from sticker lines. So she thought why not give it a try and reduce the waste by using at least some of those stickers? And you know Birgit... she did try!

According to us and - most important of all - to Lasse she turned his chair into a very special and totally unique piece matching with his room and fitting with his work desk. The main piece for this is the miniature version of a common chest of drawers called "Alex" being sold at a well-known Suedish furniture shop.

Birgit really wanted to have this for Lasse's room because the real life version of this is part of her own work desk. Strange... but she did not allow us to take a picture of this... well... let's explain it this way: There are too many creative ideas lying around at her work desk and she doesn't want this creative mess to be seen in public *teehee*. Anyhow, this miniature version of Birgit's "Alex" needed a very special treatment still to make it match with Lasse's room theme (and btw - anybody still thinking this was about frost and snow is already on the right trace.. but still... the real theme is in fact something else). It's hard to spot at the photo but the visible parts got a coat of white metallic paint and after adding some decorations it looks like this now:

Birgit also bought a seat for Lasse's chill-out-zone...

... and another seat meant for Lasse's parents which caused some questions around here.

Honestly... why would one need a seat after all which is... eh... totally grounded??? I mean... a cushion would do as well and that would be less expensive... or just sitting down on the ground. Well, we were really wondering why Birgit bought such a strange chair...

... and it took quite a bit of examination...

... but then we finally understood. So we weren't surprised anymore when Birgit painted it in her favorite green metallic color and came along with the red cushion being part of Lasse's bedding set (shown in our last post).

Anybody having an idea for the cushion? And the amazing benefit of that chair? We are convinced you do and that there will be no big surprise when we're showing you this now:

And now for the best thing of being a blogbeary: Testing!!! Yippiiiieeee!!! And because I am a gentlebeary from top to toe I remembered the good old rule "ladies first"... even if only my little sis' is around for the ladies' part... *giggle*

And I really need to point out that this was only a little joke. Really!!! As if I would ever mock my sister a few weeks before You-know-what!  *broadgrin* And now it's time for a little parental advisory: Please send the minors away... the following is for adults' eyes only! Because now it's time for a flutterbeary striptease! Woohoo!!!

Ha, now I got YOU!!! Everybody thinking I would go naked now was seriously mistaken! Even if I take off my wings I'm still fully dressed. Remember - a flutterybeary would only be naked without the bell around his neck. *teehee* But back to the topic... Rosey and I are totally in love with this stunning swing chair. I would love to have one for Strawberry Cottage too... if I only had the space. *sigh* Oh, speaking of space... Birgit also cared about some storing space for Lasse by painting a gorgeous hamper set being bought from Artofmini. One set consists of 2 hampers in 2 sizes - at the photo you can see the smaller one already being painted and the bigger one in its original state.

Link to the commercial website of Artofmini: https://www.artofmini.com/en-uk/index.html

And we're ending today with giving you a hint of what Birgit is doing next... once more related to the theme of Lasse's room... with the help of 3D prints bought from Nalladris

Link to the commercial website of Nalladris: https://www.nalladris.com/

And before we leave for today (remember - there's a Halloween party waiting for us *beams-with-joy*) we would like to give you an impression how these figurines can look after spending some time with Birgit and her brushes. And who knows - maybe the tree guy in the middle might look familiar to some...

* * *

And only a little later... in a secret place far, far away but yet quite near to us...

Magica de Spell: Ah... there you are. *giggles* I hope you've made this post of mine good, interesting and informative?!
Flutterby: Yep... YOUR post is stuffed with all sorts of interesting things plus real hard blogbeary work.
Rosey: We're glad being able to help. And after all... blogging is in our BiWuBeary DNA.
Flutterby (raises his eyebrows): Did you already sip from the Halloween bowl??? Or are you trying to gain yourself some good points in the Book of Shadows?
Rosey (laughing): Who knows?! But honestly... I like my job... and helping friends.
Magica de Spell (with a broad grin): Especially friends who are able to provide any nagging beary friend with a Never-being-able-to-enjoy-strawberries-again-spell.
Flutterby (almost about to faint): You do not try to tell me that such a horror spell really exists???
Magica de Spell (thougtfully): Well, well... who can tell? You know... I'm a quite powerful Major Witch and such a curse is easy going for me... (starts to grin all over her face) And I'm also very good at playing tricks on good friends at Halloween.
Flutterby (with big relief): My, for a moment... phew. However, I must confess I'm much more interested in the "treat"-part!
Rosey (grinning): Oh, what a Halloween surprise!!!
Magica de Spell (laughing): Yep... even I did not see that coming. So my dear friends, let's head for the Halloween party at the Witch Towers! But not without fulfilling one last duty!
Flutterby: Sure... we don't want to break traditions.
Rosey: Especially not at Halloween!

* * *

So from all of us - whether magical or not: A great Halloween to all of you - and to anybody not caring about it maybe a nice Day of Reformation or at least a nice last day of October! If you are celebrating we hope you're having fun - and if little ghosts, witches or monsters are standing in front of your door yelling "Trick or Treat!" be sure to be prepared. And as always: If by chance one of you might happen to meet a little boy with a security blanket sitting in a very neat pumpkin patch please say "Hello" from us to Linus van Pelt!

Hugs from all BiWuBearies and from Birgit too

Sleepytime

 Hello,

September is slowly saying goodbye while in the meantime autumn will officially start this coming Sunday. Or in other words: Time to dust off the candles, get out the cuddly blankets, make yourself a big cup of coffee/tea/hot chocolate/whatever and to make yourself comfortable with all of this plus a good book. *LOL* Halloween is also coming nearer and don't make me start to think about that certain holiday at the end of the year which is coming nearer and nearer without showing any mercy for a certain flutterybeary whose name shall not be mentioned due to reasons of discretion but who is really in need for any good point in the Golden Book. Saying this... I bet none of you will be surprised at all that Rosey and I did not miss our chance to earn ourselves a few good points at the beginning of September when it was time for updating Birgit's calendars.

But apart from threatening holidays at the horizon autumn is a time for filling expressions with life and meaning like coziness, comfortableness, snugness, the Danish "hygge" or the German "Gemütlichkeit". And what could ever be cozier or "gemütlicher" like cuddling up in bed? Okay, I admit it... I don't know if I'm earning myself the award for "Best topic bridge in a post" now... however... I wouldn't say no! *teehee* Yes, this post is about beds and to be more exact about beds for the North Pole project. But we also thought we could use this for some trip down memory lane showing first a parade of beds Birgit has created or in some cases used over the years. And we're starting *drumroll please" with the best and most beautiful of all these beds - mine! *LOL* Do you remember at all it is changeable? This is the strawberry version in Strawberry Cottage...

... and this is the (sorry, I need to say it this time) Christmas version in Christmas Cottage. And of course you can not only see my beautiful, terrific, awesome, fabulous bed but also the cuddly bed of my trusted furry mate Wuff.

And although it's only coming along in one version my little sis' too received her bearsonal dream bed made by Birgit for Flower Cottage.

Another lovely bed is offering rest for any beary being exhausted after having fun with all the toys in the playroom of the Beary House.

The next one we want to show is the bed our friend Ilona made for Bowler and his snowball home. It was completely made by her - except for the toppings on the bed's posts which were added by Birgit.

Link to Ilona's blog: https://minimumloon.blogspot.com/

And as you would expect our magical friends go to rest in some very special beds. This is the bed of Magica de Spell in the Old Witch Tower - a photo from the archives when Arthud Skullington was still jinxed into a toad and Purple hadn't joined the other teenage dragons yet.

Next in line is the bed of Mysteria de Spell and Borthud Skullington (a bought piece from an English miniaturist who is no longer selling)...

... followed by the bed of our beloved herb witch Gertie Gumthrop.

And we shall not forget the bed of Orlin Mc Twizzle which can be found in the roof top garden of Gertie's retirement home. And don't you worry about Orlin... as a root gnome he enjoys being outside even in his sleep. And you should also keep in mind that the leaves in his bed's canopy come from a magical rambler... they will never allow any teardrop to reach Orlin or his bedding.

We also thought it would be nice to remember the tiny beds in scale 1:48 - from left to right in Pumpkin Cottage, Strawberry Hut and Flower Hut.

And with this we're finally hopping over to the North Pole where Einar and Ylvi are looking forward to have the sweetest dreams in their future bedroom in the stunning sleigh bed being made and given to us as a gift from our friend Ilona

And sleigh beds seem to be in fashion at the North Pole as Soot and Crystal also have sleigh beds. And as they share a room with Lasse Birgit painted their beds to match with the colour scheme of his room.

Time for a little riddle: Are you able to guess which bed belongs to whom??? *LOL*

And now we can finally start with the creation of Lasse's bed. Birgit wanted to have something very special for him so it was a stroke of luck that she received a kit for a stunning bunk bed created and given to her by her friend Rosanna (who we sadly lost to Instagram). This is the photo from last year's "Christmas gifts on parade" showing the kit (and some yummy candy which vanished a long time ago):

Birgit knew exactly what she wanted to do with it... it started with gesso and the lovely metallic blue she already used for Lasse's cabinet and the sleigh beds for Soot and Crystal.

She also had some kind of glittery fabric of almost the same metallic blue in her stash and used it for Lasse's mattress. And of course she used the same silver metallic paint she had already used for the cabinet and then added a few stickers from her stash which give another good hint of the special theme Lasse's room will be dedicated to.

Birgit also happened to find some bedding matching this theme. The red cushion was part of this offer but it will get a place in the bedroom of Lasse's parents.

Bedding set found at Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/de-en/shop/PrettyMiniaturesShop?ref=yr_purchases

And as it was just the fabric being sewn together Birgit stuffed it a bit to make it extra comfortable for Lasse...

... and she also attached a few lights (not fixed yet... which is also true when it comes to the bed's front wall).

As you can see Lasse is sleeping at the top of the bed which means that the compartment below offers plenty of space for... eh... well, let me put it this way... as some might say a bit of Birgit-touch... or as others would say a lot of Birgit-craziness. Whatever it may be called... this will be part of a future post.

Yes, we're almost at the end of today's post. But if anyone just started to believe that this would finally be a post free from even more boring pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden you rejoiced too early! *grin* Sorry, but who are we to leave without one more volume of our *coughcough* beloved series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden". Here comes episode No. 93940 - being a "late summer garden" edition:

And now we're saying goodbye for today and for September - with one last picture we would like to share. These tiny guys are in fact a birthday gift Birgit gave to herself. These busy baking elves are totally cute, aren't they? And it's easy to see that Birgit had Einar in mind who will be happy to receive a scene with baking elves. But apart from being tiny and cute these little guys are fascinating just regarding the material they were made of - can you guess it?

Yes, they are made of wood... and even more they are wood art from the Ore Mountains. Very special pieces... which we will see again some day somewhere in the North Pole project. And that's all from us... really... however... we would still wish you all the best for the remaining days of September and a good start into October! ;O)

Hugs
