wir sind's wieder... Natürlich hat sich bei uns in der Zwischenzeit so einiges getan, wir haben also viel zu erzählen und zu zeigen. Aber zunächst einmal gilt es, den Monat März auf die traditionelle "BiWuBären on the Blog"-Weise zu begrüßen... mal sehen, was unser Sprüchekalender uns dieses Mal zeigt: Ein sehr schönes Frühlingsbild und einen Spruch von George Herbert: "In jedem Land geht am Morgen die Sonne auf."

Dem haben wir nichts hinzuzufügen... bei uns geht auch jeden Morgen die Sonne auf, scheint also zu stimmen. *lach* In der letzten Zeit hat sie sich sogar oft gezeigt, die Sonne... vorzugsweise in Verbindung mit sehr kalten Temperaturen. Die kalten Temperaturen wiederum zwangen Birgit zu etlichen Treffen mit ihrer Schneeschaufel - während Rosey, Bowler und ich dem kalten, weißen Zeugs im Garten durchaus auch positive Seiten abgewinnen konnten. Jawoll... es ist wieder mal Zeit für eine neue Folge von "Und schon wieder jede Menge Fotos von BiWuBärchen im Garten", Folge 93888! *grins*
Nothing to add to this from our side... here at our place the sun is rising too every morning so I suppose the saying's true. *LOL* During the last days it showed up quite often, the sun... preferably in combination with very cold temperatures. And it were the cold temperatures which forced Birgit to many dates with her snow shovel - while Rosey, Bowler and I were able to find some not so bad aspects of this cold white stuff in the garden. Yesss... it's time again for another volume of "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden", part 93888 to be excact! *grin*

Und obwohl sie sich draußen im Garten mit jeder Menge Schnee abärgern musste, hat sich meine Birgit auch im Haus mit Schnee befasst. Klar, die Arbeit an Bowlers neuem Heim musste ja mal weiter gehen. Als wir zuletzt berichtet haben, konnten wir die fertige Ecke, also Bowlers Wohnzimmer, zeigen. Zur Erinnerung - so wohnt ein BiWuBären-Schneemann:

Nun gilt es aber, das Schlafzimmer in Form des riesigen Schneeballs, den wir von Ilona bekommen haben, auf dieser Ecke zu platzieren. Und ein wenig Licht wäre bei der Gelegenheit auch nicht schlecht... Wir waren durchaus gespannt, wie Birgit das lösen würde, damit am Ende das Runde auf das Eckige kommt - und was soll ich Euch sagen: Birgits Lösung war eine leere Pralinenschachtel.

Man sieht es ihr nicht an, aber diese Schachtel ist etwas ganz Besonderes... sie war samt Inhalt ein Geschenk von Birgits Papa zur Weihnachtszeit 2015... (T'schuldigung, hab' was im Auge...) Und Birgit hat nun beschlossen, diese besondere Schachtel für den Bau von Bowlers Heim zu nutzen. Sie hat eine Lichterkette mit kleinen Kugeln, die ein bisschen an Schneebälle erinnern, daran befestigt und das Ganze mit Strukturpaste und Eisglitter bearbeitet, damit es aussieht wie Schnee...

Wie das alles zusammen geht, werden wir Euch beim nächsten Mal zeigen, denn Birgit hat in der Zwischenzeit natürlich noch ein bisschen mehr gewerkelt, zum Beispiel eine Kartenauftragsarbeit für eine Eiserne Hochzeit. Wir kennen das Jubelpaar zwar nicht, aber 65 Jahre verheiratet - das nötigt auch unbekannterweise Respekt ab! *schmunzel* So sah Birgits Karte aus:
We are going to show you the next time how all of this will come together because in the meantime Birgit has of course worked on other things too, for example a card order for a 65th wedding anniversary, in German we call this the Iron Wedding. We don't know the celebrating couple but being married over 65 years - respect! *smile* This is how Birgit's card looked like:
Und wenn man genauer hinschaut - es sind tatsächlich 65 Blumen in 7 verschiedenen Farben, für jedes Jahrzehnt plus die letzten 5 Jahre eine eigene Farbe. Und weil Birgit für diesen Anlass keinen Spruch gefunden hat, der ihr gefiel, hat sie sich kurzerhand selbst etwas ausgedacht.
And if you'd have a closer look - there are exactly 65 flowers in 7 different colours, every decade plus the last five years being represented by an own colour. And because Birgit could not find a saying or poem for this occasion which she liked she came up with her own one.
(It says: Over 65 years: Happiness and unhappiness, joy and distress, hope and sorrow, laughter and tears, holidays and every-day-life, good times and bad times. 65 years holding together as strong as iron)
Aber Birgit hat auch noch ein anderes Projekt begonnen... das aus einem reinen Zufall entstanden ist. Letztes Jahr hat Birgit beim Stöbern in einem Billigladen einen Bausatz für eine Weihnachtsmarktbude entdeckt - zwar nicht maßstabsgerecht, aber immerhin aus MDF und das Beste (haltet Euch fest!): Das Teil hat keine 2 Euronen gekostet! Wie toll ist das denn??? Da hat Birgit nicht lange gefackelt und hat das mitgenommen mit der Absicht, daraus ein Display zu machen, um in Zukunft die Weihnachtsminiaturen für ihren Etsy-Shop schöner fotografieren zu können. Aber nachdem Birgit die Bude probehalber aufgebaut hatte, fiel uns allen etwas auf:
But Birgit has also started another project... which started out of a lucky coincidence. Last year when being on a treasure hunt in a thrift store Birgit happened to discover a kit for a Christmas booth - not in scale but at least made of steady MDF and best of all (believe it or not!): This kit's costs were lower than 2 Euros! How great is that??? Birgit did not hesitate at all and took it home with the intention to turn it into a display for taking nicer pictures of her Christmas miniatures for her Etsy-shop in the future. But after Birgit had dry built this kit all of us noticed something at once:
Die Bude hat einen perfekten BiWuBären-Maßstab!!! Wir konnten es alle nicht glauben... ist aber so. Natürlich ist das Teil zu klein für unseren 1:12 Maßstab und insbesondere die Tiefe ist unrealistisch, schaut mal:
This booth has the perfect BiWuBeary scale!!! All of us could hardly believe it... but it's true. Of course this piece is too small for our usual 1:12 scale and especially the depth is not realistic, have a look:
Aber wer braucht schon Maßstabstreue und Realismus, wenn es passt???!!! Und zwar so gut passt, dass wir davon noch zwei Buden auf unseren BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt stellen können... und zwar gerade, WEIL diese Buden nicht so hoch und vor allem nicht so tief sind. Wir haben es letztes Jahr ausprobiert, es passen wirklich noch zwei dieser Buden auf die rechte Seite unseres Weihnachtsmarktes... dort, wo auf diesem Foto der Kristallbaum so schön leuchtet.
But who needs to stick to scales or realism if it fits???!!! And it fits so well that we are able to add in fact two more booths to our BiWuBeary Christmas Market... and that's indeed BECAUSE these booths are not that high and especially not so deep. We've tried it last year, two of these booths fit well at the right side of our Christmas market... the place where in the photo the crystal tree is shining so nicely.
Und das Allerbeste: Birgit hat in dem Laden tatsächlich noch zwei weitere Bausätze für die Buden bekommen! Wir sind schon so gespannt, was da für zwei neue Buden hinzu kommen werden - ich hoffe ja auf eine Erdbeerbude! *strahl* Birgit meint, sie hätte schon mal eine Idee für eine Bude, die so in Richtung Lebkuchenhaus gehen könnte... doch... ja... damit könnte ich mich auch anfreunden... schauen wir mal, erst mal hat Birgit mit der Bude für ihre Etsy-Fotos begonnen... sozusagen dem "Photoshop". *kicher*
And best of all: Birgit was able to get two more of these booth kits in that store! We are already curious what kind of booths will add to the Market's offer - bearsonally I'm hoping it will be a strawberry booth! *beams-with-joy* Birgit says she already has an idea for one booth in the range of a gingerbread house... well... yes... I could easily arrange myself with this... but let's see what time will bring, so far Birgit has started with the booth for her Etsy photos... somehow the "photoshop". *giggle*
Ihr merkt schon... nach Weihnachten ist bei uns vor Weihnachten. Dazu passt auch, dass wir noch einen späten Weihnachtsgruß bekommen haben - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn es lag wirklich an der Fertigstellung des Weihnachtsgrußes selbst, dass wir vor einigen Tagen ein Überraschungspäckchen bekommen haben, das von unserer lieben Freundin Betsy kam. Was für eine Freude - leider macht sich bei Birgit das Alter immer mehr bemerkbar... bis sie die Kamera endlich geholt hat, hätte ich das Paket schon fünf mal auspacken können und... äh... oh... ooops... Rosey hat mir gerade zugeflüstert, dass ich für die Bemerkung garantiert unzählige Minuspunkte im Goldenen Buch des Weihnachtsmannes kassiert habe. *schwitz* Na, dann will ich mir mal schnell ein paar Pluspunkte zum Ausgleich sichern und Euch die Schätze zeigen, die wir von Betsy bekommen haben. Wunderschöne Stoffe waren dabei...
As you can see... the time after Christmas is the time before Christmas for us. Regarding this it matches that we've received a late Christmas greeting lately - in the true meaning because it was the completion of the Christmas greeting itself that we've received some days ago a surprise package being sent to us by our dear friend Betsy. So much joy and happiness - sadly regarding Birgit her age is showing up more and more... until she had finally managed to get her camera I could have opened the package five times and... eh... oh... ooops... Rosey has just whispered in my ear that this remark will cost me plenty of bad points in Santa's Golden Book for sure. *pant* Well, I'd better gain me some good points fast by showing you the treasures we've received from Betsy. Among them were beautiful pieces of fabric...
Leider sieht man es auf dem Foto nicht, aber der schwarze Stoff ist ein echter Hammer, wie Samt und mit Glitzer! Da werden sich unsere Hexentürmer freuen... und magisch wird es auch mit diesen Geschenken:
Sadly the picture doesn't show it but the black fabric is a true burner, it's like velvet with glitter. I know for sure that our Witch Tower Crew will be over the moon with this... and the next gifts will spread magic too:
Der Nachschub an Zaubertrankflaschen und magischen Kreaturen ist dank Betsy gesichert. Und auch für das Weihnachtshausprojekt gab es eine tolle Deko in Form von wunderschönen Knöpfen.

Wie Ihr seht, wurde auch der gute alte Rudi nicht vergessen. *schmunzel* Begeistert waren wir alle auch von diesem wunderschönen Mini-Häuschen...

Fantastisch war auch der Inhalt eines prall gefüllten Beutels, der all diese Schätze enthielt:

Aber das war natürlich noch nicht alles - denn das Beste kommt natürlich zum Schluß. Und ich kann Euch verraten, da zeigte sich bei Birgit wieder Augenschweiß, als wir Betsys Weihnachtskarten aus 2016 und 2017 in dem Paket gefunden haben! Betsys Weihnachtskarten sind bekanntermaßen wirkliche Kunstwerke, die immer ihre eigene Geschichte erzählen, insbesondere auch, an welchen Miniaturen Betsy im jeweiligen Jahr gearbeitet hat. Birgit ist ja bereits stolze Besitzerin der Jahrgänge 2012-2015 und wusste also schon, wie viel mehr an unglaublichen Details man auf den realen Zeichnungen entdecken kann, die Betsys Fotos in ihren Posts nicht widergeben können. Auch jetzt war es wieder so... auf der Karte von 2016 erkennt man zum Beispiel das "Lovely Old Dollhouse" mit allen Räumen...
But of course this was not all - because the best is supposed to appear in the end. And I can tell you there was a lot of eyesweat showing up at Birgit's face when we discovered Betsy's Christmas cards of the years 2016 and 2017 in the package! It's well known that Betsy's Christmas cards are true pieces of art always telling their own tale, especially about the miniatures Betsy was working on during the bygone year. Birgit is already the proud owner of copies from the years 2012-2015 so she already knew how many incredible details can be discovered on the real drawings which can not be spotted at the photos in Betsy's posts. And of course this happened again... looking at the card of 2016 you can see for example the "Lovely Old Dollhouse" with all rooms...

Aber nur beim Betrachten der Kopie von der echten Zeichnung konnte Birgit erkennen, dass Betsy nicht nur das winzige "Christmas House" eingefügt hat, mit dem sie in dem Jahr begonnen hatte, und die Miniaturversion des Wohnzimmers von "The Folly" sondern sogar - wer hätte das je vermutet - die winzigkleinen Ladies, die sie entworfen hat. Könnt Ihr sie erkennen - zum Beispiel Lady Eve?
But only by looking at the copy of the real drawing Birgit was able to discover that Betsy had not only added the tiny "Christmas House" she had started to work on that year but also the miniature version of the living room of "The Folly" but even - who would ever had supposed them to be there too - the teenytiny ladies Betsy had created back then. Can you spot them there - for example Lady Eve?
Und es gibt noch ein Detail, das Birgit ganz besonders rührt... eine Erinnerung an den Besuch von Betsys Schwester, die ihre beiden BiWuBärchen zu dem Treffen mitgebracht hat.
And there was another detail that really touched Birgit... a memory of the visit of Betsy's sister who brought her two BiWuBearies along with her.
Könnt Ihr Buttercup und Marmalade in der Bonbonschüssel erkennen? (Wir haben mal einen Cent davor platziert, um Euch einen Eindruck zu vermitteln, wie klein all diese Details sind) Typisches BiWuBärchen-Verhalten, würde ich mal sagen... *grins* Und gerade, wenn man das 2016er-Bild so genau studiert hat, bemerkt man die feine Komposition des 2017er-Bildes.
Can you spot Buttercup and Marmalade in the candy jar? (We've placed a cent in front of it to give you an impression how tiny all these details are) I would call this a typical BiWuBeary behaviour... *grin* And especially after studying the picture of 2016 so intensively it's easy to recognize how wonderful the picture of 2017 is composed.
Das inzwischen fertige kleine Weihnachtshaus zeigt sich nun mit all seinen Details. Und ich meine wirklich alle - es fehlt nichts... egal ob Tapetenmuster, die einzelnen Bücher der Bibliothek oder der Schneemann auf der Kommode im Kinderzimmer.
The tiny Christmas House being finished in the meantime shows up with all its details now. And I really mean all - there's nothing missing... neither the patterns on the wallpapers, every single book in the library nor the snowman on the cupboard in the nursery.
Und man kann auch deutlich erkennen, dass Arthur und Will es mit dem Puppenhaus nach oben geschafft haben, es steht inzwischen in Pollyannas Bastelzimmer.
And you can clearly see that Arthur and Will managed to carry the dollhouse upstairs because it has found its place now in Pollyanna's crafting room.
Noch deutlicher konnte Birgit aber erkennen, dass zu ihrer großen Freude auch Betsys BiWuBärchen, die Bewohner des Cloud Palace, auf dem 2017er Bild zu finden sind. Es ist einfach unfassbar, dass Betsy sogar die Farbschattierung von Sweet Peas Flügeln perfekt wieder gegeben hat...
And even more clearly Birgit could see that to her big pleasure also in 2017 Betsy's BiWuBearies, the inhabitants of the Cloud Palace, found their way to the picture. It's indeed incredible that Betsy even managed to reproduce the colour shades of Sweet Pea's wings perfectly...
Für meine Birgit ist es immer etwas ganz Besonderes, wenn es BiWuBärchen auf Betsys Weihnachtskarten schaffen... aber mit oder ohne BiWuBärchen... Betsys Karten sind wirklich Meisterwerke und genau wie Betsys Familienmitglieder halten auch wir hier unsere kleine Kartensammlung absolut in Ehren und erfreuen uns immer wieder daran. Hat man das jetzt eigentlich ein bisschen gemerkt, wie total begeistert wir von diesen Karten sind? ;O)
For my Birgit it's always something very special whenever BiWuBearies are appearing on Betsy's Christmas cards... but with or without BiWuBearies... Betsy's cards are true masterpieces and like the members of Betsy's family we're treasuring our little collection of cards which is bringing us joy whenever we're looking at them. But I wonder now - did you notice at least a little bit how very much we do like these cards? ;O)
Dearest Betsy, once more from this place - thank you beary much for sending us so much joy and happiness and pieces to treasure for always (well, except for the very yummy chocolate)... but above all the gift of friendship. And not to forget the sound of giggles from butterflies or fairy bearies up there in the clouds...
Oh, und a propos erfreuen... Birgit hat es kürzlich geschafft, ein Buchfink-Männchen in unserer Nelkenkirsche zu fotografieren.
Oh, and speaking about joy and happiness... Birgit happened to take a picture lately of a male chaffinch who was sitting in our tree.
Das strukturierte Grau im Hintergrund ist übrigens das Dach unserer Nachbarn auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. *grins* Ja, die Vögel singen schon gegen den Winter an... hoffen wir mal, dass der Winter sich nun endgültig verabschiedet. Habt einen schönen März!

This booth has the perfect BiWuBeary scale!!! All of us could hardly believe it... but it's true. Of course this piece is too small for our usual 1:12 scale and especially the depth is not realistic, have a look:
Aber wer braucht schon Maßstabstreue und Realismus, wenn es passt???!!! Und zwar so gut passt, dass wir davon noch zwei Buden auf unseren BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt stellen können... und zwar gerade, WEIL diese Buden nicht so hoch und vor allem nicht so tief sind. Wir haben es letztes Jahr ausprobiert, es passen wirklich noch zwei dieser Buden auf die rechte Seite unseres Weihnachtsmarktes... dort, wo auf diesem Foto der Kristallbaum so schön leuchtet.
But who needs to stick to scales or realism if it fits???!!! And it fits so well that we are able to add in fact two more booths to our BiWuBeary Christmas Market... and that's indeed BECAUSE these booths are not that high and especially not so deep. We've tried it last year, two of these booths fit well at the right side of our Christmas market... the place where in the photo the crystal tree is shining so nicely.
Und das Allerbeste: Birgit hat in dem Laden tatsächlich noch zwei weitere Bausätze für die Buden bekommen! Wir sind schon so gespannt, was da für zwei neue Buden hinzu kommen werden - ich hoffe ja auf eine Erdbeerbude! *strahl* Birgit meint, sie hätte schon mal eine Idee für eine Bude, die so in Richtung Lebkuchenhaus gehen könnte... doch... ja... damit könnte ich mich auch anfreunden... schauen wir mal, erst mal hat Birgit mit der Bude für ihre Etsy-Fotos begonnen... sozusagen dem "Photoshop". *kicher*
And best of all: Birgit was able to get two more of these booth kits in that store! We are already curious what kind of booths will add to the Market's offer - bearsonally I'm hoping it will be a strawberry booth! *beams-with-joy* Birgit says she already has an idea for one booth in the range of a gingerbread house... well... yes... I could easily arrange myself with this... but let's see what time will bring, so far Birgit has started with the booth for her Etsy photos... somehow the "photoshop". *giggle*
Ihr merkt schon... nach Weihnachten ist bei uns vor Weihnachten. Dazu passt auch, dass wir noch einen späten Weihnachtsgruß bekommen haben - im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, denn es lag wirklich an der Fertigstellung des Weihnachtsgrußes selbst, dass wir vor einigen Tagen ein Überraschungspäckchen bekommen haben, das von unserer lieben Freundin Betsy kam. Was für eine Freude - leider macht sich bei Birgit das Alter immer mehr bemerkbar... bis sie die Kamera endlich geholt hat, hätte ich das Paket schon fünf mal auspacken können und... äh... oh... ooops... Rosey hat mir gerade zugeflüstert, dass ich für die Bemerkung garantiert unzählige Minuspunkte im Goldenen Buch des Weihnachtsmannes kassiert habe. *schwitz* Na, dann will ich mir mal schnell ein paar Pluspunkte zum Ausgleich sichern und Euch die Schätze zeigen, die wir von Betsy bekommen haben. Wunderschöne Stoffe waren dabei...
As you can see... the time after Christmas is the time before Christmas for us. Regarding this it matches that we've received a late Christmas greeting lately - in the true meaning because it was the completion of the Christmas greeting itself that we've received some days ago a surprise package being sent to us by our dear friend Betsy. So much joy and happiness - sadly regarding Birgit her age is showing up more and more... until she had finally managed to get her camera I could have opened the package five times and... eh... oh... ooops... Rosey has just whispered in my ear that this remark will cost me plenty of bad points in Santa's Golden Book for sure. *pant* Well, I'd better gain me some good points fast by showing you the treasures we've received from Betsy. Among them were beautiful pieces of fabric...
Leider sieht man es auf dem Foto nicht, aber der schwarze Stoff ist ein echter Hammer, wie Samt und mit Glitzer! Da werden sich unsere Hexentürmer freuen... und magisch wird es auch mit diesen Geschenken:

Der Nachschub an Zaubertrankflaschen und magischen Kreaturen ist dank Betsy gesichert. Und auch für das Weihnachtshausprojekt gab es eine tolle Deko in Form von wunderschönen Knöpfen.
Betsy generously added to our supply of potion bottles and magical creatures. And also for the Christmas project we received fantastic embellishments coming along as beautiful buttons.
Wie Ihr seht, wurde auch der gute alte Rudi nicht vergessen. *schmunzel* Begeistert waren wir alle auch von diesem wunderschönen Mini-Häuschen...

Fantastisch war auch der Inhalt eines prall gefüllten Beutels, der all diese Schätze enthielt:

Diese Perlen sind atemberaubend schön, Moment, wir versuchen noch mal eine Nahaufnahme.

Aber das war natürlich noch nicht alles - denn das Beste kommt natürlich zum Schluß. Und ich kann Euch verraten, da zeigte sich bei Birgit wieder Augenschweiß, als wir Betsys Weihnachtskarten aus 2016 und 2017 in dem Paket gefunden haben! Betsys Weihnachtskarten sind bekanntermaßen wirkliche Kunstwerke, die immer ihre eigene Geschichte erzählen, insbesondere auch, an welchen Miniaturen Betsy im jeweiligen Jahr gearbeitet hat. Birgit ist ja bereits stolze Besitzerin der Jahrgänge 2012-2015 und wusste also schon, wie viel mehr an unglaublichen Details man auf den realen Zeichnungen entdecken kann, die Betsys Fotos in ihren Posts nicht widergeben können. Auch jetzt war es wieder so... auf der Karte von 2016 erkennt man zum Beispiel das "Lovely Old Dollhouse" mit allen Räumen...
But of course this was not all - because the best is supposed to appear in the end. And I can tell you there was a lot of eyesweat showing up at Birgit's face when we discovered Betsy's Christmas cards of the years 2016 and 2017 in the package! It's well known that Betsy's Christmas cards are true pieces of art always telling their own tale, especially about the miniatures Betsy was working on during the bygone year. Birgit is already the proud owner of copies from the years 2012-2015 so she already knew how many incredible details can be discovered on the real drawings which can not be spotted at the photos in Betsy's posts. And of course this happened again... looking at the card of 2016 you can see for example the "Lovely Old Dollhouse" with all rooms...
... und wir mussten automatisch über das Detail schmunzeln, das Arthur und Will zeigt, wie sie Pollyannas schweres Puppenhaus auf den Speicher schleppen...

Aber nur beim Betrachten der Kopie von der echten Zeichnung konnte Birgit erkennen, dass Betsy nicht nur das winzige "Christmas House" eingefügt hat, mit dem sie in dem Jahr begonnen hatte, und die Miniaturversion des Wohnzimmers von "The Folly" sondern sogar - wer hätte das je vermutet - die winzigkleinen Ladies, die sie entworfen hat. Könnt Ihr sie erkennen - zum Beispiel Lady Eve?
But only by looking at the copy of the real drawing Birgit was able to discover that Betsy had not only added the tiny "Christmas House" she had started to work on that year but also the miniature version of the living room of "The Folly" but even - who would ever had supposed them to be there too - the teenytiny ladies Betsy had created back then. Can you spot them there - for example Lady Eve?
Und es gibt noch ein Detail, das Birgit ganz besonders rührt... eine Erinnerung an den Besuch von Betsys Schwester, die ihre beiden BiWuBärchen zu dem Treffen mitgebracht hat.
And there was another detail that really touched Birgit... a memory of the visit of Betsy's sister who brought her two BiWuBearies along with her.
Könnt Ihr Buttercup und Marmalade in der Bonbonschüssel erkennen? (Wir haben mal einen Cent davor platziert, um Euch einen Eindruck zu vermitteln, wie klein all diese Details sind) Typisches BiWuBärchen-Verhalten, würde ich mal sagen... *grins* Und gerade, wenn man das 2016er-Bild so genau studiert hat, bemerkt man die feine Komposition des 2017er-Bildes.
Can you spot Buttercup and Marmalade in the candy jar? (We've placed a cent in front of it to give you an impression how tiny all these details are) I would call this a typical BiWuBeary behaviour... *grin* And especially after studying the picture of 2016 so intensively it's easy to recognize how wonderful the picture of 2017 is composed.
Das inzwischen fertige kleine Weihnachtshaus zeigt sich nun mit all seinen Details. Und ich meine wirklich alle - es fehlt nichts... egal ob Tapetenmuster, die einzelnen Bücher der Bibliothek oder der Schneemann auf der Kommode im Kinderzimmer.
The tiny Christmas House being finished in the meantime shows up with all its details now. And I really mean all - there's nothing missing... neither the patterns on the wallpapers, every single book in the library nor the snowman on the cupboard in the nursery.
Und man kann auch deutlich erkennen, dass Arthur und Will es mit dem Puppenhaus nach oben geschafft haben, es steht inzwischen in Pollyannas Bastelzimmer.
And you can clearly see that Arthur and Will managed to carry the dollhouse upstairs because it has found its place now in Pollyanna's crafting room.
Noch deutlicher konnte Birgit aber erkennen, dass zu ihrer großen Freude auch Betsys BiWuBärchen, die Bewohner des Cloud Palace, auf dem 2017er Bild zu finden sind. Es ist einfach unfassbar, dass Betsy sogar die Farbschattierung von Sweet Peas Flügeln perfekt wieder gegeben hat...
And even more clearly Birgit could see that to her big pleasure also in 2017 Betsy's BiWuBearies, the inhabitants of the Cloud Palace, found their way to the picture. It's indeed incredible that Betsy even managed to reproduce the colour shades of Sweet Pea's wings perfectly...
Für meine Birgit ist es immer etwas ganz Besonderes, wenn es BiWuBärchen auf Betsys Weihnachtskarten schaffen... aber mit oder ohne BiWuBärchen... Betsys Karten sind wirklich Meisterwerke und genau wie Betsys Familienmitglieder halten auch wir hier unsere kleine Kartensammlung absolut in Ehren und erfreuen uns immer wieder daran. Hat man das jetzt eigentlich ein bisschen gemerkt, wie total begeistert wir von diesen Karten sind? ;O)
For my Birgit it's always something very special whenever BiWuBearies are appearing on Betsy's Christmas cards... but with or without BiWuBearies... Betsy's cards are true masterpieces and like the members of Betsy's family we're treasuring our little collection of cards which is bringing us joy whenever we're looking at them. But I wonder now - did you notice at least a little bit how very much we do like these cards? ;O)
Dearest Betsy, once more from this place - thank you beary much for sending us so much joy and happiness and pieces to treasure for always (well, except for the very yummy chocolate)... but above all the gift of friendship. And not to forget the sound of giggles from butterflies or fairy bearies up there in the clouds...
Oh, und a propos erfreuen... Birgit hat es kürzlich geschafft, ein Buchfink-Männchen in unserer Nelkenkirsche zu fotografieren.
Oh, and speaking about joy and happiness... Birgit happened to take a picture lately of a male chaffinch who was sitting in our tree.
Das strukturierte Grau im Hintergrund ist übrigens das Dach unserer Nachbarn auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. *grins* Ja, die Vögel singen schon gegen den Winter an... hoffen wir mal, dass der Winter sich nun endgültig verabschiedet. Habt einen schönen März!
