Willkommen im November

Hallo,

... and once more it's really time to welcome the new month on our blog. But... Novembeeeeeeer??? How could this ever happen??? Now it's time to be brave and to face the truth - not many opportunities left to gain some good points in Santa's Golden Book. *gulp* Having this in mind the month's beginning offers at least another chance for me to add something to my point account (Just between us... I am in need of every single point... I can only hope it will be enough in the end... oh my, this uncertainty... eh... where was I...) because being the gentlebeary that I am I've helped my Birgit once more with the update of her calendars. Our wisdom calendar comes along with a nice picture this time and a saying by Austrian novelist Johannes Mario Simmel who said if any person in the world would make just one other person happy the whole world would be happy.

Oh my... if it was that easy at all... nevertheless... making me happy is indeed very simple - a big bowl full of certain sweet, red, juicy, aromatic fruits would do the job for sure. But a trip to our garden makes happy too - and that's exactly what Rosey and I have done lately. For sure we've been wrapped up warm and cozy in our scarves... and now we are able to present to you volume 93886 of our series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden" *grin*:

Even in autumn so much beauty can be found in the garden - and Rosey is able to find a flower in her favorite colour still.

Nevertheless it won't be long anymore until the big lantern at our entrance will be decorated for Christmas.

But first Birgit had to take care of another lantern, to be more exact the lighthouse of our Granny aka the silent blog reader. Maybe you remember that Rosey has a similar one in her garden:

*kicher*
... this looks way too cute compared with the original of Birgit's Mom... *giggle*

Well, Birgit's task was the wish of our Granny who wanted to have coloured window glasses. Birgit really likes to fulfil wishes of that kind to her Mom (just between us... Birgit's name can be found in Santa's Golden Book too *grin*) and so Birgit got out her old bottles with window color and started to spread the paint everywhere.

What a pity we weren't allowed to help... but Birgit says this color could probably be difficult to remove from our fur. I suppose she's right with that... nevertheless... a few strawberry red dots.. my... eh... well, that's how it's looking attached to the house:

Birgit has also added a little wreath - and with lights it looks like this now:

*schmunzel*
Now the lighthouse is spreading a spectacular light - and it also turned into an ooak. *smile*

*freu*
And with this we're wishing to all of you a great November. At our place we have started to bet when Birgit's traditional moaning "I have for sure too much Christmas stuff" will be heard for the first time. *LOL* And of course all of us are eagerly anticipating the opening of the BiWuBeary Christmas Market... *beams-with-joy*

But okay, until then there's still a bit of time left... which is good for Birgit because somehow she's always very busy during November. Let's see if she will have some time left for crafting... my... I suppose she will... ;O)

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Flutterby

Hallo, dear rascals, Birgit and her silent reader aka Mom Silke ;)! You gave us a nice tour in your beautiful garden and I fully agree that even in autumn (November) there's to see alot of beauty in the garden/free nature ;). I see that you've taken your scarfs out of the closet, yes, it's much colder now and we are going to the darker days before Christmas.
I think your Birgit has done a nice job, when she painted the glass of the lantern of her Mom. The colored windows now spread a cheerful light, looks lovely especially now in these darker days.
I wish you all a cosy time, by doing the Christmas preparations, it will be quite special this year....I will think of you all.
Liebe Grüsse, Schepje und Ilona

I love the two lanterns. The vitrage windows of the large one are very beautiful especially with the light inside. The mini one is very cute. I also love the mini garden but not to compare with the gorgeous garden where Rosey and you Flutterby star as cute model bearies.
I wish Mr. Simmel's words of wisdom come true one day.
Hugs, Drora

Dear Fluby and Rosey, I must have blinked when November arrived... it has already sped the first third through!!! I do not understand how or where the Time goes! But I know it Goes! We are anticipating an early Thanksgiving over here in just two weeks... and after that is the signal for all the X-Mas pandemonium to start! (Even though it really has already started.... and hey, for some of us it never really stopped this year! LOL!) I have been made Happy just to see your smiling faces in the Garden once more... with such lovely late fall blossoms to visit... who would not be Happy?! But what also makes me really Happy is to see the beautiful adaptation of the Lantern for Birgit's Mom! Wow! That is stunning!!! And to see the tiny one that belongs to Rosey with it is utterly charming! I am eagerly awaiting the "True" signal of the start of the X-mas Season (Hearing Birgit's proclamation that she has too much X-Mas stuff!!! LOL!) because that also means we will soon be treated to a visit to the most wonderful Christmas Market Ever!!! Wow, Time is flying.... catch it if you can!!! :):):)

Oh Flutterby, you won Christmas points because you made me happy by reading you.
The calendar is beautiful but I love the Birgit lanterns, the large and wonderfully trimmed and the small illuminated is very lovely.

November around this part of the world, is usually blustery and wet and today is no exception, but the lovely thing about it regardless of the howling winds, are the wonderful colors of the changing leaves of the plants in the garden. Your Fluby and Rosey seem to really appreciate their colors too! :D
I didn't realize what a great artist Rosey is; her glass painting skills are Exceptional and the lantern will Light up all of your lives as the days continue to shorten. Stay Warm and Dry everyone :D

Hallo Fluby, hallo Rosey,

Euer Fudge
