Kaffeeklatsch zum Herbstanfang

Hallo,

 

wir begrüßen Euch herzlich am ersten offiziellen Herbsttag! *schmunzel* Und hier bei uns ist wirklich mit dem kalendarischen Herbst auch wettertechnisch der Herbst angekommen - den ersten Herbststurm hatten wir auch schon und die Temperaturen sind deutlich gefallen. Da ist es kein schlechter Gedanke, es sich drinnen schön gemütlich zu machen... zum Beispiel mit einem schönen, gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch.

… and a heartfelt welcome at this first official day of autumn (at least in our half of the globe)! *smile* And here at our place the calendarian autumn came along with typical autumn weather - we've even had the first autumn storm and temperatures are so much lower now. Regarding this it's for sure a good idea to get comfortable indoors… for example with a nice and cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch".

 

 

Vorher möchten Rosey und ich Euch aber noch wie versprochen unsere kleinen Häuschen von außen zeigen - wir beginnen mit Strawberry Hut.

But before we're coming to this we'd like to show our tiny houses from the outside as promised last time - we're starting with Strawberry Hut.

 

 

Vielleicht ist es jemandem aufgefallen - wir haben darauf verzichtet, die im Bausatz enthaltenen Fensterläden anzubringen. Die waren zwar schon bemalt, aber irgendwie verdecken die das Fachwerk und das gefiel uns nicht, also haben wir sie weggelassen. Wir befinden uns da in guter Gesellschaft - Birgit hat es damals bei Pumpkin Cottage ganz genau so gemacht. *schmunzel* Und nun zu Flower Hut:

Maybe somebody has noticed - we've been doing this without using the shutters that were included in the kit. Although we had already painted them but somehow these were covering the framework and we didn't like it that way so we simply let them go. We're in good company with this - Birgit did the same when building Pumpkin Cottage some time ago. *smile* And here's Flower Hut:

Jetzt wird es Zeit, mit der Innendekoration zu beginnen... Wir haben uns auch schon mal einen der Möbelbausätze angeschaut - und da wurde mir doch ein wenig blümerant zumute. Schaut mal... daraus soll ein Sofa werden?!

Now it's time to start with the decoration of the interior… We've already had a closer look at one of the furniture kits - which made me feel a bit queasy. Have a look… this is supposed to become a sofa?!

 

 

Und wie winzig die Teile sind! *schluck* Worauf haben wir uns da bloß eingelassen? Ich meine... wir haben nur Pfoten... keine Finger und keine Daumen... das ist echt schwierig mit so kleinen Teilen.

And how tiny these pieces are! *gulp* How can we ever cope with this? I mean… we only have paws… no fingers and no thumbs… which makes dealing with such tiny pieces really difficult.

 

 

Aber zum Glück hat mich meine kleine Schwester dann an unseren bärsönlichen Leitspruch erinnert. Das hier ist meiner:

But fortunately my little sis' reminded me of our bearsonal motto. This one is mine:

So, und nun wünschen wir Euch einen schönen Herbst und empfehlen Euch nachher einen schönen gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und danach schauen wir mal, wie wir mit den Möbeln klar kommen, Rosey und ich. Im Zweifelsfall bleibt uns ja zum Glück immer Plan B... ;O)

Überraschung! Rosey und ich grüßen heute aus einem Kaffeebecher - das kann nur eines bedeuten: Wir laden Euch auf einen Kaffeeklatschpost ein!
… surprise! Today Rosey and I are greeting out of a coffee cup - this can only mean one thing: We are inviting you to a "Kaffeeklatsch"-post!
              

              

Am Besten holt Ihr Euch schon mal einen Pott Kaffee oder Tee, denn wir haben heute sehr viel zu zeigen... und das hat auch mit diesem Becher zu tun. Aber dazu kommen wir später - erst einmal zeigen wir Euch Neues von unserem Mini-Cottage-Projekt. Nachdem die Wände innen und außen bemalt und die Fenster und Türen eingesetzt waren, haben wir uns um die Fußböden gekümmert. In jedem Häuschen gibt es zwei davon, die wurden grundiert...
I would recommend you to get yourself a cup of coffee or tea first because we have a lot to show today… and this has also to do with this cup. But we're getting to this later - first we'd like to show you some progress of the mini cottages project. Once the walls had been painted from the inside and the outside and the windows and doors had been added we concentrated on the floors. There are two floors in each house, they received a base coat first…
 

 

… und dann mit Holzfurnier beklebt - das Zwischendeck sogar von beiden Seiten.
… and after this they were covered with wood veneer - the mezzanine floor even from both sides.

 

Und dann konnten wir die Häuschen endlich zusammen bauen - als Erstes seht Ihr Strawberry Hut:
And finally we've been able to build the houses  - you're going to see Strawberry Hut first:

            

Eine Wand wurde in erdbeergrün getäfelt und die Ecken bekamen Leisten in der gleichen Farbe.

One wall got a wainscot in strawberry green and all corners got trimmings in the same colour.

                   

Und ich vermute mal, Ihr habt es bereits bemerkt - die andere Wand bekam eine große Tapete mit meinem absoluten Lieblingsmotiv...

And I suppose you have noticed it already - the other wall received a wallpaper with my most favourite subject ever…

                

               

ERDBEEREN!!! *strahl* Hach, süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *seufz* Ich wünschte, ich hätte jetzt eine ganze Schale voll mit Erdbeeren hier... äh... wo war ich... ach ja... große Erdbeeren an einer Wand war ein echtes Muss in meinem kleinen Häuschen. Vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch daran, dass wir die Absicht haben, unseren eigenen Häusern eine Referenz zu erweisen... tja, und was für eine Art von Tapete habe ich in Strawberry Cottage??? *grins*

STRAWBERRIES!!! *beams-with-joy* My, sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries… *sigh* I wish I had a big bowl full of strawberries here right now… eh... where was I... yes… big strawberries on one wall were a must in my little hut. You may remember that our intention was a reference to our own houses… and what kind of wallpaper do I have in Strawberry Cottage??? *grins*

             

            

Und ich habe auch eine Wandvertäfelung in erdbeergrün - allerdings weiß gewischt. Ich bin wirklich zufrieden, wie sich mein kleines Häuschen bis jetzt so entwickelt hat.
And I have also a wainscot in strawberry green - although with a white wash on. I am really satisfied how my little house turned out so far.
 

 

Aber natürlich hat auch meine kleine Schwester fleißig an Flower Hut gewerkelt. Und weil die beiden Häuschen ja ähnlich gearbeitet werden sollen, hat sich auch Rosey für eine große Tapete entschieden. Sie hat sich ein Motiv von Marjolein Bastin ausgesucht, denn Rosey hat ein Rosenbild von ihr in Flower Cottage stehen (Link zur Homepage der Künstlerin: https://marjoleinbastin.com/). Und alles was bei mir erdbeergrün ist, ist bei Rosey halt in lavendel - und das sieht dann so aus:
But of course my little sis' too was working hard on Flower Hut. And because both houses should be built in a similar way Rosey also decided to use a huge wallpaper. She has chosen a motif by Marjolein Bastin because Rosey has a rose picture by her in Flower Cottage (link to the artist's website: https://marjoleinbastin.com/). And everything that's strawberry green in my house is in lavender at Roseys - which looks like this:

… und wir müssen beide zugeben, dass Birgit Recht hatte - es ist wirklich spannend, wie unterschiedlich die beiden Häuser wirken... obwohl sie bis auf die Farben und natürlich die tapezierte Wand völlig identisch sind. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir Euch zeigen, wie Strawberry Hut und Flower Hut von draußen aussehen - aber nun ist es Zeit für eine Parade von lauter Schätzen. Wie immer im August ist Birgit ein Jahr älter geworden und natürlich hat es sich unsere liebe Freundin Ilona nicht nehmen lassen, zu diesem Anlass ein prall gefülltes Paket zu schicken (Link zu Ilonas Blog: https://minimumloon.blogspot.com/). Leider... öhm... also... ich war wieder mal so schnell im Aufmachen des Paketes, dass meine Birgit die Kamera noch nicht zur Hand hatte... naja... sie ist ja auch schon wieder älter geworden... *grins* (Äh... oooops… hoffentlich hat der Weihnachtsmann das jetzt nicht gehört... *schluck*) All diese liebevoll eingepackten und beschrifteten Päckchen kamen zum Vorschein:

… and both of us have to admit that Birgit was right - it's indeed exciting to see how different both little houses are appearing… although they are totally identical despite of the colours and of course the wallpaper. Next time we are going to show you how Strawberry Hut and Flower Hut look like from the outside - but now it's time for a parade of many treasures. As always in August Birgit got one year older and of course our dear friend Ilona did not miss to send her a huge package (link to Ilona's blog: https://minimumloon.blogspot.com/). Sadly… ahem… well… I was once more so fast with opening the package that my Birgit did not manage to fetch her camera in time... well… she's older now… *grin* (Oh... oooops… I hope Santa did not hear this one… *gulp*) All these lovingly wrapped and marked packages come to sight:

Sind die nicht toll? In dem Paket waren aber auch noch wunderschöne Metallsticker - bärsönliche Metallsticker für das Blumenbärchen und das Flatterbärchen.

Those are awesome, aren't they? This package also included some fantastic metal stickers - bearsonal metal stickers for the flower beary and the flutterybeary.

 

Ich frage mich nur, warum die das "B" und das "FL" vertauscht haben, tssssss… so kompliziert ist mein Name doch gar nicht! *kicher* Ein weiteres Päckchen trug die Aufschrift "Ein paar saisonale Dinge" und enthielt diese fantastischen Miniaturen:

I'm only wondering why they mixed up the "B" with the "FL", tsssss… my name isn't that complicated at all! *giggle* Another package was marked with "Some seasonal things" and was filled with these stunning miniatures:

 

 

 

Und über das nächste Paket hat sich nicht nur Birgit sondern auch die stille Blogleserin alias Birgits Mama alias unsere Oma riesig gefreut - dieses war beschriftet mit "Etwas, für das Du graben musst".

And the next package made not only Birgit but also the silent blog reader aka Birgit's Mom aka our Granny totally happy - the writing on it said "Something you have to dig for"

 

Für so etwas Schönes gräbt man doch gerne mal... und habt Ihr bemerkt, wie gut Ilona die Tulpenzwiebeln ausgesucht hat? Genau passend für unsere Vorlieben - Birgit hat ja gemeint, Ilona würde uns halt gut genug kennen, um jedes Streitpotential im voraus auszuschließen. *grins* Dann war da noch ein Päckchen mit der Aufschrift "Kaffeeklatsch Kram". Nun, den Becher, den wir darin gefunden haben, kennt Ihr ja schon... *schmunzel* Aber in dem Becher befand sich etwas, was Birgit dann so richtig Augenschweiß bescherte - Ilona hat wieder einmal nicht vergessen, dass Birgit die Miniaturen von Georgia Marfels sehr schätzt (Link zu Georgias Etsy-Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/georgiamarfels):

For something as beautiful as this digging is no problem at all... and did you notice how well Ilona has chosen those tulip bulbs? They really suit our likings - Birgit said it was pretty clear that Ilona knows us well enough to avoid any potential arguments in advance. *grin* And then there was another package with a writing on saying "Kaffeeklatsch stuff". Well, you already know the cup we've found inside… *smile* But inside of this cup we found something that brought quite a lot of eye sweat to Birgit - Ilona did once more not forget how much Birgit likes the miniatures made by Georgia Marfels (link to Georgia's Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/georgiamarfels):

 

Gut, der Frosch hat ein Gesicht, das eigentlich nur eine Mutter lieben kann *hihi* - aber sind die Beiden nicht der Hammer??? Aber das war immer noch nicht alles... das Beste kommt halt zum Schluß… denn da war noch ein Päckchen mit der Aufschrift "Hausgemacht". Und das hatte es in sich - zwei Schachteln mit oberleckeren Cupcakes...

Okay, the frog has a face only a mother could ever love *teehee* - but aren't these two a true burner??? But this was not all yet… we saved the best for last... because there was still a package left saying "Home made". Its content was incredible - two boxes filled with yummy cupcakes...

 

… bei deren Anblick einem gleich das Wasser im Mund zusammen läuft. Die wird Birgit wohl in ihrem Weihnachtsprojekt verwenden. Tja, und dann waren da noch die hier:

Was soll ich sagen... schon wieder Augenschweiß bei meiner Birgit... ich kann's verstehen angesichts von so viel Schönheit und Großzügigkeit. Ilonas Blumen sind immer wahre Meisterwerke und es ist atemberaubend, wie unglaublich gut die gemacht sind. Rosey zeigt Euch mal die beigefügte Nelke etwas näher:

What am I supposed to say… once more eye sweat for Birgit... I can truly understand her regarding so much beauty and generosity. Ilona's flowers are always true pieces of art and it's breathtaking how incredibly well they are made. Rosey is showing you the included carnation a little closer:

 

Könnt Ihr erkennen, dass tatsächlich jedes einzelne Blütenblatt fransig geschnitten wurde? Wir haben keine Ahnung, wie Ilona so etwas hinbekommt... aber wir sind unendlich dankbar, dass wir diese Miniaturschätze nun unser eigen nennen dürfen. Zum Schluß zeigen wir Euch noch die Karte von Ilona... denn die ist ganz besonders... zwar auf Niederländisch und offensichtlich eher an eine Sarah adressiert, aber das tut nichts zur Sache, denn die Karte ist so genial und ihre Botschaft erschließt sich sofort. Werfen wir also einen Blick in den Spiegel eines Badezimmerschranks und stellen fest, wie gut wir aussehen...

Are you able to recognize that every single petal was cut to become frayed? We have no idea how Ilona is able to do this… but we are very thankful that we may now own all of these miniature treasures. But we still need to show you the card Ilona has sent us… because this one is very special… it's in Dutch and obviously dedicated to a Sarah but this doesn't matter at all because the card is so awesome and its message is clear at once. So let's have a look into the mirror of a bathroom cabinet to find out how good we're looking…

Herrlich finde ich ja die "Pillen voor klachten bij de Overgang" *buahaaahaaa* oder die "Anti Rimpel lotion" *hihi* Daumen hoch, liebe Ilona - die Karte hast Du aber mal richtig gut ausgesucht! *grins*

And once more from this place too: Dear Ilona - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for so kindly thinking of Birgit, for all your wonderful, fantastic, well chosen gifts… but even more for all the joy and happiness this brought to us and above all for your friendship!

Birgit hat zum Geburtstag aber auch etwas Geld bekommen, damit sie sich etwas Schönes kaufen kann - und genau das hat Birgit getan. Vor einiger Zeit ist meine Birgit durch einen Zufall auf Robert Olszewski und seine Miniaturen gestoßen, die er sowohl für Goebel als auch für Disney gemacht hat. Diese Miniaturen sind wirklich faszinierend, es handelt sich dabei tatsächlich um handbemalte Bronze. Leider sind die nicht billig, aber Birgit hat bei eBay eine sehr nette Verkäuferin mit fairen Preisen gefunden und so stand nun mit dem Geburtstagsgeld einem Einkauf nichts mehr im Wege. Birgit hat sich die Miniatur eines Goldfinks gegönnt...

But Birgit also received a bit of money for her birthday with the intention that she should buy herself something nice - and that's what Birgit has done. Some time ago Birgit happened to stumble over Robert Olszewski and his miniatures which he made both for Goebel as well as for Disney. These miniatures are really fascinating and are made of bronze being hand painted. Sadly they are quite expensive but Birgit was lucky to find a very nice vendor at eBay offering fair prices so there were no more obstacles for spending the birthday money for a small purchase. Birgit treated herself with the miniature of a goldfinch…

Dass es dieser kleine Postbote geworden ist, hat einen besonderen Grund - Birgits Mama besitzt einen ewigen Kalender mit Hummel-Figuren und da wird der Januar von genau dieser Figur repräsentiert. Hier könnt Ihr die Beiden zusammen sehen:
There's a special reason why Birgit has chosen the little mail boy - her Mom owns an eternal calendar with Hummel figurines where January is represented by exactly this figurine. You can see both of them together here:
 

Die Miniatur ist sogar detaillierter bemalt als das große Vorbild... es ist wirklich beeindruckend, wie liebevoll die gestaltet wurden.
The miniature was painted with even more details than the big role model… it's indeed impressive with how much care these have been created.
 

So hat Birgit nun eine bleibende Erinnerung an ihren diesjährigen Geburtstag, an dem sie sich hinten eine "0" eingefangen hat. *grins* Zum Glück kann man aber auch die vergänglicheren Geschenke dauerhaft per Foto festhalten. Bevor wir aber mit einem Bild von dem Blumenstrauß schließen, den Birgit von unseren Nachbarn zum Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen hat, muss ich vorher noch schnell den traditionellen BiWuBären-Gruß an den September los werden. Ich spare mir diesmal auch jede Bemerkung darüber, dass ich wirklich keine Ahnung habe, wo die vorigen 8 Monate geblieben sind und wie beängstigend ich es finde, dass Weihnachten gar nicht mehr so weit weg ist und mir nicht mehr allzu viele Tage bleiben, um Pluspunkte im Goldenen Buch des Weihnachtsmannes zu sammeln (*schwitz*), nein, ich zeige Euch heute ohne langes Gerede darüber, dass ich - als Gentlebär von Kopf bis Fuß, der ich nun mal bin - auch an diesem Monat meiner Birgit beim Umstellen ihrer zahlreichen Kalender geholfen habe, das Kalenderblatt für den September - mit einem Spruch von Henri Duvernois: "Das Glück besteht vielleicht im Staunen können."
This way Birgit has a remaining memory of this year's birthday which made her catch a "0" in the end. *grin* Luckily one can even keep the evanescent gifts by catching them with the camera. But before we're coming to the end showing a picture of the flower bouquet Birgit has received from our neighbours I need to greet September the traditional BiWuBeary way first. And this time I won't say anything about me not having any clue where the former 8 months might have gone to and that it frightens me that Christmas isn't that far away anymore which leaves not much time to me anymore to gain me some good points in Santa's Golden Book (*pant*), no, without any long ado about me - being the gentlebeary from top to toe that I am - having of course helped my Birgit once more at the beginning of the new month with the update of her several calendars I'm going to show you the calendar page for September - this month with a saying by Henri Duvernois. He said happiness might consist of the ability to be amazed.
 

Ja, da ist was dran... wir hatten jedenfalls viel zu Bestaunen. Aber das Glück kann auch in einem schönen gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch liegen - und genau dabei wünschen wir Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß, bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen.
