Nr. / No. 1 in 2021

 Hallo,

*seufz*
... we hope all of you made it well into the New Year... although as we all expected 2021 keeps going the way 2020 ended. Around here we're keeping up to our own traditions that's why as in every year at January 1st you could have called out loud "Christmas?!" and would have received no more answer. *LOL* And so Rosey and I are greeting today from Strawberry Cottage again... but sometimes we remember with loads of regrets how yummy Teddy's punch has been. *sigh*

But I need to take care about what I'm saying or otherwise I'm provoking another sermon of Birgit about the topic "Everything has its own time..." *grin* And honestly... regarding how fast time always runs... then November isn't that far away anymore and the BiWuBeary Christmas Market will soon open once more! Yippiieee!!! And according to Birgit after Christmas is before Christmas... well, this is a crafter's point of view... but as far as I am concerned... *gulp*... it's never too early to gain a few good points for Santa's Golden Book. For example I really hope that I've gained myself one, two, three, four good points with my dedicated help with hanging up Birgit's numerous calendars. And because this is more work in January than usual Rosey also helped this time... however... bearsonally I suppose that my little sis' is hoping for a few easily earned good points too. Could this reduce my contingent??? Hopefully not... eh... but back to our topic... of course Birgit has another wisdom calendar for this year. And this is showing next to a lovely picture a saying by Titus Maccius Plautus who advised us to silently keep our happiness to ourselves and enjoy it on our own.

With all due respect - but we don't agree with him. Happiness should be shared... and that's exactly what we're doing every year in our 1st post because that's when we're showing how incredibly kind so many in blogland have thought of us for Christmas (although many packages arrived in January... perhaps the Three Kings had to help them find their way *smile*) This much in advance: Once more we've received loads of wonderful gifts... it's incredible how much we've been spoiled. And it's amazing with how much love and care gifts were made just for us... well, have a look now. As always we're doing it in alphabetical order and so we're starting with the gifts from Alex. We received loads of beautiful miniatures for the Christmas House...

... and loads of beautiful miniatures made with all our different projects in mind.

Vielen Dank, liebe Alex! Schaut mal:
Thank you so much, dear Alex! And from Carmen too we've received a Christmas greeting that knocked us out of our socks. Have a look:

Link zu / to Carmen's Blog: http://pekevasion.blogspot.com/

Many of you will know this Advent calendar contribution by Carmen - and Birgit has no more reason to craft this herself now. *teehee* And needless to mention that this gorgeous Elf-on-the-shelf-ensemble including the terrific books will get a place of honor in the Christmas House. And Carmen's legendary calendar will be perfect in the Beary House. But there was still more... and this touched Rosey and me deeply... and caused some eyesweat from Birgit.

Vielen Dank, liebe Carmen!
Muchas gracias, querida Carmen! And Drora too thought once more so kindly of us - just look:

As everything coming out of Drora's hands just beautiful - and Drora did even think of the silent blogreader and included just for her a wonderful soap. Btw Birgit grinned and said the foil around the yummy cookies and the stunning bowl would be a real good protection against illegal flutterybeary access! My... I really would be outraged if she wasn't right with this... *broadgrin* But Drora still included something else - and this is a true burner:

One of Drora's legendary walnut scenes - with bunnies! *beams-with-joy* Thank you so much, dear Drora - also in the name of the silent blogreader! And with this we're coming to the Christmas greeting of Fabiola - a big variety of fantastic miniatures.

Vielen Dank, liebe Faby!
Grazie mille, caro Faby! And the Christmas gift from our dear friend Ilona was packed in a box which would already have made a gift just by itself.

And inside of it we found a wonderful book with a collection of letters written by J.R.R. Tolkien to his kids in the name of "Father Christmas".

What a fantastic idea for a family tradition... we're already looking forward to enjoy this book during the coming Advent time. Thank you so much, dear Ilona! From Jennifer we've received one of her beautiful cards, sadly she gave up blogging years ago - nevertheless once more many thanks again from this place.

And the Christmas greeting from Nina and the Riversiders will once more accompany us during the whole year - thank you so much, dear Nina, for this beautiful Riverside calendar!

The next gifts we're going to show were sent by Pilar - and around here we have a suspicion that Pilar made a list of things being just perfect to bring us the maximum of joy. *LOL* It starts with these miniatures:

Link zu / to Pilar's Blog: http://miniaturasenmimundo.blogspot.com/

With two stunning and readable Christmas books (perfect as always when made by Pilar), a box of Tarot cards, an Ouija board and fantastic decals. We were already absolutely happy with this - and we never expected not even in our dreams to once hold the following miniatures in our hands/paws which we already admired at Pilar's blog!

Awesome, aren't they? Of course the handstitched cushion is just perfect for the Beary House and the beautiful Alice-theater-scene will also get a place of honor there. But this wasn't all yet... and the last miniature really caused a lot of eyesweat around here:

How great is that??? Can you spot us there on the stage? I've put my paws on this at once... and whoever will have a closer look at the first picture of this post could be able to discover it. Muchas gracias, querida Pilar! And now we're coming to Ricardo - who had already sent us a Christmas gift but in the meantime we had been very lucky to win once more another giveaway at his blog and we really need to show the wonderful books we've received now at today's "gifts on parade".

Link zu / to Ricardo's Blog: https://ram7255.blogspot.com/

Vier echte Buchklassiker, ganz toll. Vielen Dank, lieber Ricardo!
Indeed four book classics, just stunning. Muchas gracias, querido Ricardo! And also our dear friend Rosanna sent us a Christmas greeting... next to useful miniature stuff a lovely wrapped Pandolce genovese alto, a traditional treat from Rosanna's home town Genoa.

Link zu / to Rosanna's Blog: http://lastanzadigiuggiola.blogspot.com/

And we really need to show the bowl once more:

*schmunzel*
This will get a place of honor during next Advent time - and hopefull it will be filled with yummy chocolates. *tweet* And our German blogfriends too know exactly how to make us and especially Birgit happy: With a combiantion of calendars and calories. *LOL* This Christmas greeting came from Tinchen and the Tapsis - and I'm still very proud that I - and there can be no doubt about it - was an inspiration for illustrator Peter Schnellhardt when drawing the January picture. *smile*

*grins* Vielen Dank, liebe Martina! Das hier war der Weihnachtsgruß von Tine:
Without doubt this is showing a beary who gave everything for the sake of the calendar update, doesn't it? *grin* Thank you so much, Martina! And this was the Christmas greeting from Tine:

Link zu / to Tine's Blog: http://sophies-dailys.blogspot.com/

Marzipan for a bit of happiness (that's what the package says)... I like this concept. *LOL* And here comes the Christmas greeting from Ulrike (who sadly decided to give up her blog last year) who sent us next to a calendar and yummy Christmas chocolate once more a beautiful pop-up-card.

Perhaps somebody recognizes it - we have used it for the photo of our Christmas greeting post. Thank you so much, Ulrike! And with this we're coming to Véronique - and her Christmas greeting arrived in a very special way. For making Birgit extra happy Véronique bought a stunning, teenytiny Santa miniature from Georgia Marfels and asked her to send it directly to us (as Georgia is a German miniaturist). Somehow a double surprise - and on top we received the beary charm as an extra gift!

Thank you so much, dear Véronique. And with this our parade of gifts would actually be over... if, yes if we wouldn't have kept a very special gift for the end. And this special gift was given to us by Ilona for Advent 4th (!) - although it would have been worth to be a gift for many Christmasses and birthdays combined. Sometime last spring Ilona asked Birgit if she was interested in a bed Ilona had made a few years ago just for fun without having any use for it. Usually Birgit is not greedy but when she saw the photos it was for sure love at first sight! *LOL* But indeed it seems that this special bed was made just for the Christmas House - and if you're looking at the pictures you will know at once why Birgit couldn't resist and accepted Ilona's more than generous offer:

Der Oberhammer!!! Ein wahrgewordener Traum!!! Wir sind hin und weg! Danke, danke, danke aus ganzem Herzen, liebe Ilona!
A true burner!!! A dream come true!!! We are over the moon! Thank yoy, thank you, thank you from the bottoms of our hearts, dear Ilona!

Und bequem ist es auch...
And it's even comfy...

... I too would like to have such a bed and... eh...

... oh... oops... okay, Rosey is right giving me this certain look now, just in time I remember that I've already received a wonderful new bed last year... *tweet*... quick change of topics... But we too have sent many Christmas greetings - and sadly some of them are still on their way and will hopefully, HOPEFULLY still arrive. The little houses Birgit has made (btw using a kit for a birdhouse by Artofmini *LOL*) could already be seen on several blogs...

Link zum / to the Webshop von / of Artofmini: https://www.artofmini.com/en-uk/index.html

... aber diesen Anblick gibt's exklusiv nur bei "BiWuBären on the Blog". *grins*
... but this special view is an exclusive at "BiWuBären on the Blog". *grin*

Every one an ooak... but one of them has even an extra personal touch.

What am I suposed to say... Birgit made this one for herself... or I should better say for the Christmas House. And with a very last gift we're going to finally end the parade of gifts now:

*grins*
Birgit has given this door wreath as a Christmas gift to the silent blogreader - needless to mention that the selfmade snowman heads were absolutely to the likings of our in-house snowman lover. But what Birgit received from the silent blogreader for Christmas we are hopefully going to show the next time. Birgit still needs to put a bit of work and time to it and she also said she would really look forward to taking pictures of those tiny pieces. *grin*

We're wishing to all of you a great January with hopefully plenty of creative time. Take good care of yourselves!

Liebe Grüße / Hugs

Flutterby

Hallo Fluby und Rosey! I see that also made it to the new year and you have both helped your Birgit with her Calendars. I am sure you earned some points, hehehe ;O).
But my oh my, you all have been so very, very, very much spoiled by your blog friends and their (selfmade) wonderful and lovely gifts, and this is so well deserved. But this is no wonder because your Birgit always self spoils lots of het (blog) friends with her generous and thoughtful gifts. So enjoy it all to the fullest, dear friends!!
Seeing the picture of all those teeny tiny houses your Birgit has made for her friends.......WOOOOOOOW, so much work she has put into these houses, including for every receiver a personalised one, that's no joke, no, but an enormous amount of work, thanks again dearest Birgit!! I know because I've looked very well to my tiny house, it's gorgeous and you must know that here there are two littles ones "fighting" of who of them will be the proud owner ;).
I'm curious after the gift your Birgit got from our silent reader, I can't wait to see it ;O)!!
Please, stay safe and take good care for yourselves, dearies.
Liebe Grüsse,
Schepje, Little Me und referee Ilona ;O) XXX

Wow, dear Fluby and Rosey,
Thank you for showing all these very lovely gifts and thank you for your kind words about mine. Birgit will have her hands full for a long time. I'm sure there will be a place for every single item in Birgit's future projects.
The time-consuming work and brilliant creativity for turning each birdhouse into a beautiful little house, not to mention the quantity, reflect Birgit's special generosity. Everyone will agree with me that joy spreading is Birgit's second name.
Keep safe and healthy!
Hugs, Drora

Ohhh!

So many presents!!! Birgit certainly has kept Santa and the 3 kings very busy both ways! I have enjoyed along with you such a beautiful and delicious display of very thoughtful and loving presents. So deserving, that´s for sure. I want to thank you again for the light and happiness and warmth that you give me every Christmas now when I receive your parcel. It´s not just the presents, they are beautiful and always special of course, but it´s the love and the kindness that touches me the most every time. Thank you. One more thing, Fluby and Rosey, you look fantastic on that little theatre, you belong on the stage!! I went back to see the first photo more in detail to discovery it, which I did 😊 and I also discovered my humble pizza-table in your house, awwww, it made me so happy 😊❤😊. Well that´s all, take care xxx

Dear Fluby and Rosey and Birgit too, Whew! I must say that was a Marathon of gifts! It is maybe a good thing that they did not all arrive for Christmas... but had to take their time and get guidance from the Three Kings! You would have had trouble opening them all at once!!! (Even you, Fluby.... the record setter in under 10 centimeters!!!) Paper would be everywhere and some little items might get overlooked... much better to take your time over days and weeks!
And as for Christmas disappearing overnight in your World... I understand that this happens.... but have never seen it in person! :) I keep finding more "missed" items for days and weeks... and even tonight noticed another one! But truly, you got some Wonderful minis! And I can understand some "eye sweat" being involved! :)
And as for sharing Happiness... I think it is impossible Not to share it! It simply overflows and touches anyone near enough to notice!!!
Thank Heavens Blogs bring us all very "close" and the sharing is easy! :):)

I don't know how I missed this post, only discovered when testing the link from my blog to yours, but my only excuse is that for quite a few weeks there I was kind of on another planet. I hope you'll forgive my tardiness and know my sincerity when I say WOW! That nativity set is ~A~M~A~Z~I~N~G~ and you are the most talented tiny painter the world has ever known!!! As if the Christmas House wasn't going to be special enough, this is going to push it to a whole new level!
