kennt Ihr den Spruch "Die besten Partys finden immer in der Küche statt"? *schmunzel* Wir fanden das ganz passend als Überschrift für diesen Post, denn natürlich geht es heute um die neue Küche im Bärchenhaus. Aber ein bisschen "Party" hat es bei uns auch gegeben, denn traditionell wird Birgit Ende August ein Jahr älter. Wobei "Party" relativ ist, denn Birgit ist vieles, aber bestimmt kein Feierbiest. Trotzdem... es gab Luftballons...
... do you know the saying "The best party always happens in the kitchen"? *smile* We thought this was quite suitable for the headline of this post which is of course about the new kitchen of the Beary House. But there was also a bit of "party" because traditionally Birgit happens to get one year older at the end of August. However "party" is relative as you can say a lot about Birgit but for sure not that she was a party animal. However... we had balloons...
... und jede Menge Geschenke - unter anderem von unserer lieben Freundin Ilona, die sich nach langer Selbstisolation während der Pandemie zum Einkaufen begeben hat, nur um unserer Birgit eine Riesenfreude zu machen. Mir übrigens auch - denn natürlich habe ich auch dieses Mal bewiesen, dass ich immer noch der Champion im Paketeöffnen in der Bärchenklasse bis 10 cm bin! Ich war übrigens so schnell, dass Birgit es nicht geschafft hat, ein Foto zu machen... tja... was soll ich sagen... das Alter... *hihi*... oh... oops... ich merke gerade... ich muss aufpassen, was ich sage... öhm... *schluck*... Ihr wisst ja... wir haben inzwischen schon September! Und unabhängig davon, dass ich wirklich keine Ahnung habe, wo die vorigen acht Monate geblieben sind und es sich völlig falsch anfühlt, dass die Tage schon deutlich kürzer sind, bedeutet das auch, das ein gewisses wichtiges Fest am Jahresende immer näher kommt und damit die Möglichkeiten für ein gewisses Flatterbärchen schwinden, sich dringend benötigte Pluspunkte im Goldenen Buch zu verdienen. *schwitz* Also schnell weiter im Text... so viele spannende Päckchen waren in dem Paket sowie eine wunderschöne Karte mit lieben Worten und einem Motiv von Marjolein Bastin - und außerdem die sehr platzsparend versendeten Luftballons. *grins*
... and loads of presents - some of coming from our dear friend Ilona who dared after a very long period of self-isolation during the pandemic to go shopping again just because she wanted to send some joy to Birgit. Btw also to me - because I had once more the chance to prove that I am still the champion in opening parcels in the beary class up to 10 cm! Btw I've been so very fast that Birgit did not manage to take a photo... well... what I am supposed to say... the burden of age... *teehee*... oh... oops... it just occurs to me... I need to take care of what I'm saying... eh... *gulp*... you know it well too... we're already finding ourselves in September again! And apart from me not having the tiniest clue where the previous eight months have gone to and that it feels totally wrong that the days are apparently shorter by now this also means that a certain important holiday at the end of the year is coming nearer meaning less and less opportunities for a certain flutterybeary to gain himself some urgently needed good points in the Golden Book. *pant* So let's better continue... there were so many promising packages in the parcel as well as a beautiful card with lovely words and a motif by Marjolein Bastin - as well as these balloons being sent in a very space-saving way. *grin*
Übrigens Überbleibsel vom Geburtstag von Ilonas Enkel... das macht sie gleich noch mal besonders.
Btw these were leftovers from the birthday of Ilona's grandson... which makes them even more special...
Besonders und mit viel Liebe ausgesucht waren aber auch all die übrigen Geschenke - egal ob schön und nützlich...
But all the other gifts were also very special and chosen with so much love - whether being lovely and useful...
... oder schön und kalorienreich...
... or lovely and full of calories...
... oder schön und gemein. *lach*
... or lovely and mean. *LOL*
Dieses Motiv mit einem kleinen bisschen Eiffelturm, ganz viel strukturlosem Himmel und dann auch noch einem besonderen Schnitt der Teile ist nämlich echt anspruchsvoll - wir können uns richtig gut vorstellen, mit welch breitem Grinsen Ilona dieses Puzzle in den Einkaufswagen gelegt hat. *höhö* Und dann gab es noch ein Geschenk - diese beleuchtete Flasche:
This motif with just a little bit of the Eiffel Tower but with plenty of sky without any structure and all of this with the jigsaw pieces in a special cut is for sure a challenge - and we can easily imagine the broad grin on Ilona's face when she was placing this puzzle in her shopping cart. *teehee* And there was another gift yet - this illuminated bottle:
Dearest Ilona - once more also from this place: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your wonderful, thoughtful and amazing gifts... but most of all for your friendship!
Die hat nämlich eine eingravierte Inschrift... die für ordentlich Augenschweiß gesorgt hat... die wir hier aber aus Diskretionsgründen leider nicht zeigen können. *grins* Dafür zeigen wir Euch aber das wunderschöne Blumengebinde, das Birgit von einer Nachbarin zum Geburtstag bekommen hat...
It has an engraved writing on it... which caused a lot of eyesweat here... but due to reasons of privacy we are not able to show it here. *grin* Instead of this we're showing the lovely flower arrangement Birgit received from a neighbor for her birthday...
... und die tolle selbstgemachte Tasche, die ein Geschenk von einer anderen Nachbarin war.

Es ist zwar Zufall, aber das maritime Motiv erinnert natürlich an das Bärchenhaus und bietet mir daher eine wunderbare Überleitung. Heute wollen wir Euch schließlich zeigen, wie die neu gestaltete Küche aussieht, wenn man all das hinein stopft, was wir Euch bereits gezeigt haben. *lach* Beginnen werden wir aber mit einer kleinen Erinnerung, wie die Küchenmöbel vor Beginn der Renovierung ausgesehen haben. Auch die kleinen Spiegel mit Muschelrahmen (Geschenke von Drora) sind noch einmal zur Erinnerung mit auf der Collage.
And although it's just a coincidence the maritime motif reminds for sure of the Beary House and this offers me a perfect bridge. Because today we would like to show you how the kitchen looks after the makeover after everything we've already shown to you was stuffed into it. *LOL* But we're starting with a little reminder how the kitchen furniture looked before the renovation started. And the small mirrors with the shell frames (gifts from Drora) find themselves too at this collage as a reminder.

Ja, so sieht sie nun aus in ihrem neuen Look, die Küche vom Bärchenhaus. Und damit bleibt nur noch die Frage, was aus dem ehemaligen Esszimmer geworden ist... aber das zeigen wir beim nächsten Mal. Heute müssen wir erst noch einmal zeigen, was Birgit von der stillen Blogleserin alias unserer Oma zum Geburtstag bekommen hat - zumindest einen Teil davon, denn die beiden Bastelsets von Nalladris auf dem Bild stehen stellvertretend für weitere Bastelsets und Geschenke.
Yes, this is how the kitchen of the Beary House looks now after the makeover. So what still remains is the question what happened to the former dining room... we're going to show this the next time. Today we still need to show what Birgit received from the silent blogreader aka our Granny for her birthday - at least a bit of that because these two kits from Nalladris at the photo are representatives for more kits and gifts.
Besonders interessant ist in dem Zusammenhang das Bastelset für ein Deko-Ei im Fabergé-Stil, denn das bedeutet Nachschub für noch mehr verrückte Birgit-Ideen... von denen bereits einige Realität geworden sind und die wir Euch heute zeigen wollen. Birgit hatte nämlich in ihren Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten bereits zwei solche Sets von Nalladris für "Fabergé"-Eier sowie von Artofmini für Deko-Eier mit Holzständern. Die gibt es in verschiedenen Versionen mit Eiern von Strauß, Nandu oder Gans:
Of special interest in this context is the the kit for a decorative egg in Fabergé style because this means new supply for even more crazy Birgit ideas... of which some have already become reality and we would like to show these to you today. See, Birgit already had in her Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes two of these kits by Nalladris for "Fabergé"-eggs as well as kits by Artofmini for decorative eggs on wooden stands. These come along in different varieties of ostrich, greater rhea or goose:
Zunächst einmal hat Birgit mit den Einzelteilen für die Ständer gespielt und die so zusammen gesetzt und teilweise verziert, das jeder Ständer nun ein Einzelstück ist. Nach einem Anstrich mit Bronzefarbe sahen die so aus:
In the beginning Birgit played along with the single parts for the stand and mounted and sometimes decorated them to make every stand a single piece. After a coat with a bronze paint they looked like this:
Danach konnte es ans Dekorieren der Eier gehen - und ich hatte es ja bereits erwähnt... da kam eine gute Portion Birgit-Verrücktheit... eh... Birgit-Touch ins Spiel. Und wenn ich Euch jetzt erzähle, dass die fertigen Deko-Eier für das Weihnachtshaus bestimmt sind, werdet Ihr Euch vielleicht erst einmal wundern. Deshalb etwas Hintergrundinformation: Es ist Euch Menschen oft nicht so bewusst, aber in der magischen Welt geht es meistens recht freundlich zu und so sind zum Beispiel der Weihnachtsmann und der Osterhase richtig gut befreundet. Ehrlich! Und der Osterhase schenkt dem Weihnachtsmann jedes Jahr zu Weihnachten schöne, kostbare Deko-Eier... und weil das nun schon viele Weihnachten so geht und es daher schon viele Eier sind, werden die guten Stücke überall am Nordpol in den Werkstätten verteilt und finden sich daher auch in unserem Weihnachtshaus (also dem, das Birgit irgendwann mal weiter bauen muss). Glaubt mir - so machen sie das wirklich am Nordpol... es sei denn, jemand bevorzugt den Ansatz mit der großen Portion Birgit-Verrücktheit. *breit-grins* Wie auch immer Ihr Euch entscheidet - so jedenfalls sehen Osterhasengeschenke für den Weihnachtsmann aus, wenn auch noch meine Birgit ihre Finger im Spiel hat: *lach*
And next the decorating could start - and I've already mentioned it... this is when a good dose of Birgit-craziness... eh... Birgit-touch happened. And if I'm telling you now that the finished decorative eggs were meant to go into the Christmas House you might probably be a little amazed. So here's a bit of background information: Most human beings are not aware of it but the majority of beings in the magical world have a friendly attitude and for example Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny are real good friends. Honestly! And every year for Christmas Santa receives beautiful precious eggs as a gift from the Easter Bunny... and because this already happened since many Christmases meaning already quite a good amount of eggs they can be found everywhere in the workshops at the North Pole and that's why they can also be found in our Christmas House (i. e. the one Birgit needs to continue to work on some day). Believe me - this is how they're really handling this at the North Pole... unless somebody would prefer the theory about the big portion of Birgit-craziness. *broad-grin* However you may decide - this is how presents of the Easter Bunny for Santa Claus look like if my Birgit is also involved in this: *LOL*
Genutzt hat Birgit dafür nur die variierten Ständer und die Eier-Rohlinge aus Plastik - alles andere ist original Birgit-Touch mit Hilfe von Deko, die sich in den Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten befand.
Birgit just used the varied stands and the raw plastic eggs - everything else is original Birgit-touch with the help of decorations waiting in the Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes.
Irgendwie typisch Birgit, oder? *lach* Trotzdem macht mich das irgendwie nachdenklich... Birgit werkelt Deko für das Weihnachtshaus und wir finden uns bereits im September wieder. Das gewisse Fest am Jahresende, dessen Name zu dieser Jahreszeit nicht genannt werden darf (obwohl bei uns in den Supermärkten bereits seit August die Lebkuchen in den Regalen liegen), rückt unerbittlich näher. Es wird Euch also nicht überraschen, dass Rosey und ich auch am Septemberanfang wieder beim Umstellen von Birgits zahlreichen Kalendern geholfen haben - das sind immer leicht und schnell verdiente Pluspunkte... *flöööt* Für den September zeigt unser Sprüchekalender ein schönes Sonnenblumenbild (und ja... wir konnten nicht widerstehen und haben dieses Foto ein ganz klein wenig bearbeitet *schmunzel*) und einen Spruch von Tolstoi: "Es gibt Quellen der Freude, die nie versiegen: Die Schönheit der Natur, der Tiere, der Menschen, die nie aufhört."
Somehow that's soooooo Birgit, isn't it? *LOL* Nevertheless this makes me wonder... Birgit created decorations for the Christmas House and we're already finding ourselves in September again. This certain holiday at the end of the year which shall not be named at this time of the year (although the shelves in the supermarkets are filled with gingerbread since August) is coming nearer without any mercy. So you will not be surprised that Rosey and I helped Birgit once more at the beginning of September with the update of her several calendars - these are always easy and fast earned good points... *tweet* For September our wisdom calendar offers a lovely sunflower picture (and yes... we could not resist to put a little addition on this photo *smile*) and a saying by Tolstoi. He stated there would be sources of joy/happiness which would never run dry: The beauty of nature, of anmimals and of humans which would never end.
Und ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich ausgerechnet von Tolstoi eine wunderbare Themenüberleitung bekommen würde... ich meine... Quelle der Freude... Schönheit der Natur... und der Tiere... das passt doch... damit ohne weitere Umschweife: Herzlich Willkommen zu Folge 93926 unserer *hüstel* beliebten Serie "Und schon wieder jede Menge Bilder von BiWuBärchen im Garten".
