Rosa und Blau / Pink and Blue

 Hallo,

der Mai ist gekommen und wir jetzt auch. Und wenn wir an den Mai denken, dann automatisch auch an die Farbe Grün in allen Schattierungen und unter dem Oberbegriff "Frühlingsgrün". Hier bei uns im Norden Deutschlands gibt es aber noch eine weitere Farbe, ohne die der Frühling nicht denkbar wäre: Gelb. Unzählige gelbe Farbkleckse von Löwenzahn auf sattgrünen Wiesen sind immer ein herrlicher Frühlingsanblick, vor allem aber ist es der Raps, der in Schleswig-Holstein Felder in Meere aus Gelb verwandelt.

... May has come and so do we. Whenever we're thinking of May we're automatically thinking of the color green too in all its shades and under the headline of "spring green". But here in the North of Germany we also have another color which is a very important sign of spring: Yellow. Countless yellow patches of dandelions across deep green meadows are always a beautiful sight in spring but most of all it's rapeseed which turns the fields of our home state Schleswig-Holstein into oceans of Yellow.

Nun fragt Ihr Euch aber vielleicht, warum in der Überschrift von Rosa und Blau die Rede ist... tja, was für Schleswig-Holstein typisch ist, muss in einem bestimmten Garten in Schleswig-Holstein ja nicht unbedingt zutreffen. Aber überzeugt Euch selbst - denn hier kommt Folge 93928 unserer *hüstel* beliebten Reihe "Und schon wieder jede Menge Bilder von BiWuBärchen im Garten". Heute mit unserem jährlichen Special: "Wo ist Rosey?" Los geht's!

But you might wonder now why we're talking of pink and blue in the headline... well, what's typical for Schleswig-Holstein must not necessarily be typical for a certain garden in Schleswig-Holstein. But look for yourselves - because here comes volume 93928 of our *coughcough* beloved series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden". Today with our annual special: "Where is Rosey?" Let's go!

Auf den letzten drei Bildern tummeln wir uns bereits in unserer Nelkenkirsche - dem Schauplatz unseres jährlichen Suchspiels "Wo ist Rosey?" Wir finden, dass sie dieses Jahr nicht leicht zu finden ist - deshalb bekommt Ihr zum Üben erst mal eine Runde "Wo ist Fluby?" Und - könnt Ihr mich entdecken? (Übrigens nicht wundern - wir haben aus Diskretionsgründen die Autos unserer Nachbarn auf einigen Fotos "ausradiert")

The last three pictures show us already in our kanzan or carnation cherry - the scene of our annual search game "Where is Rosey?" In our opinion she's not easy to spot this year that's why we're starting with a warm-up round of "Where is Fluby?" for a little practice. And - can you find me? (Btw do not wonder - for reasons of discretion we've "erased" the cars of our neighbors at some of the photos)

Aber nun kommt die Frage aller Fragen: Wo ist Rosey???

Respekt an alle, die Rosey bereits auf dem ersten Foto entdeckt haben. Für alle anderen kommt hier die Auflösung:

Und nun kommen wir zu einem weiteren Rätsel - der Frage, wie wohl der fertige Bastelraum des Bärchenhauses aussehen mag. Vorher müssen wir Euch aber noch ein paar letzte Accessoires vorstellen - und wir beginnen mit einem Türkranz. Den Kranz hat unsere Freundin Ilona uns vor einiger Zeit geschenkt und auch der Eisvogel (von Playmobil, bemalt von Birgit) hat nicht ohne Grund darin Platz genommen. Es heißt, einen Eisvogel zu sehen bringt Glück, deshalb schenkt Birgit Ilona jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit irgendetwas mit einem Eisvogel. Kleiner Running Gag unter Freunden... Inzwischen sind auch die blauen Halbperlen besonders geworden. Die stille Blogleserin hat mit Begeisterung Diamond-Painting-Projekte gemacht und diese blauen Steinchen waren übrig geblieben und kamen Birgit gerade recht. So ist dann auch etwas von der stillen Blogleserin im Bastelraum zu finden... Hier kommt der fertige Kranz:

And now we continue with the next riddle - which is the question how the finished craft room of the Beary House might look like. But we still need to show you a few last accessoires first - and we're starting with a door wreath. The wreath was given to us by Ilona some time ago and the kingfisher (by Playmobil, painted by Birgit) took place there for a reason. There's a saying that it brings luck to spot a kingfisher that's why Birgit tries every year to find a Christmas gift for Ilona that's somehow related with a kingfisher. A little running gag between friends... And in the meantime even the blue half pearls have become special. The silent blogreader totally enjoyed to do projects in Diamond Painting technique and these blue dots were leftovers and were just what Birgit needed at this time. That's why there's a little contribution of the silent blogreader in the craft room... Here comes the finished wreath:

Von Ilona haben wir auch die Tillandsia in einer Muschel sowie die bezaubernde winzigkleine Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle geschenkt bekommen, die Ihr gleich sehen könnt. Die Asterix-Miniatur hatte Birgit ebenso in ihren Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten wie die Charms, die passend bemalt wurden. Alle zusammen fanden ein Zuhause in Hausdisplays, die Birgit bei Dollhous3Design gekauft hat.

Ilona also gave the tillandsia in a shell to us as well as the enchanting teenytiny Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle which you are going to see next. The miniature of Asterix was waiting in Birgit's Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes as well as the charms which were painted in a matching color. All together found a home in house shaped displays Birgit had bought from Dollhou3Design.

Birgit hat die drei Häuschen an einem Holzstreifen befestigt und gehofft, dass sie dadurch leichter anzubringen sind. Auf jeden Fall leicht war die Gestaltung eines Papierkorbs und einer Heißklebepistole - echte Must Haves für Bastler.

Birgit attached the three houses to a strip of wood and hoped this would help to glue them to the wall. Compared to this creating a waste paper bin and a hot glue gund was easy - true must haves for crafters.

Eine Verschlußkappe wurde zum Papierkorb erklärt und ein kleiner Playmobilkoffer beherbergt die Heißluftpistole. Glaubt uns - sie ist wirklich da drin! *grins* Übrigens ist der Aufdruck original von dem Koffer, in dem sich Birgits eigene Heißklebepistole befindet. 

A bottle cap was declared to be a waste paper bin and a small suitcase by Playmobil hosts the hot glue gun. Believe us - it really is in there! *grin* Btw the printing is originally taken from the real box in which Birgit's own hot glue is stored.

Besonders leicht war auch die Herstellung von zwei Teppichen für das Bastelzimmer. Birgit hat als kleinen Trick nämlich selbstklebende feste Folie verwendet - damit waren beide Teppiche blitzschnell fertig.

Also very easy was the making of two rugs for the craft room. Birgit used as a little trick sticky transparent foil - with this both rugs were done in the wink of an eye.

Und nun kommen wir zu den letzten Teilen, die ins Bastelzimmer kommen - und ich darf Euch jetzt schon verraten: Es kommt zum Äußersten! Das ist wirklich die Rubrik "Das musste ja mal passieren"... *grins* Aber wir beginnen am Anfang - in unserem Fall Mini-Bärchenhäusern für's Bärchenhaus (bei uns gibt's nun mal keine Puppenhäuser... *kicher*). Eines davon könnte einigen von Euch bekannt vorkommen (*schmunzel*) und das kleine ist ein Playmobil-Teil, das Birgit in bewährter Weise durch Bemalung und Deko aufgepimpt hat.

And now we're coming to the last pieces which are dedicated for the craft room - and I can already reveal you this: We're going to extremes! This is for sure from the category: "This had to happen one day"... *grin* But we're starting at the beginning - in our case mini beary houses for the Beary house (you won't find dollhouses around here... *giggle*). One of them might be familiar to some of you and the tiny one is a Playmobil piece which got the trusted Birgit touch with painting and decoration.

Dann war es Zeit für einen Bausatz, den Birgit schon lange in ihren Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten liegen hatte - das Flower Pot Cottage im Maßstab 1:144 von Petite Properties.

And next it was time for a kit Birgit had saved in her Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes since "ages" - the Flower Pot Cottage in scale 1:144 by Petite Properties.

Wie auch im echten Leben stellte sich dann aber die Frage: Wohin mit den fertigen Häusern? Birgit hatte Glück, denn sie fand ein billiges Teil, das ursprünglich als Ladentresen gedacht war.

But as in real life too we had to deal with one question next: Where to decorate the finished houses? Birgit was lucky to find a cheap piece which was originally meant to serve as a shop counter.

Perfekt für Birgits Zwecke... und sogar noch perfekter, nachdem sie die Illusion von zusätzlichem Stauraum erzeugt hatte:

Und weil man als Bastler ja keinen Platz zu verschenken hat, kamen als nächstes diese Kisten aus Birgits Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten zum Einsatz.

And because crafters can never give away space the next in line were these boxes out of Birgit's Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes.

Die wurden bemalt und mit allem Möglichen gefüllt, was gerade so auf Birgits Arbeitstisch rumlag.

They were painted and filled with all sorts of stuff lying around at Birgit's work desk.

Und nun ist es an der Zeit, ehrlich zu sein... Wem von Euch ist auf dem Foto oben aufgefallen, dass Ihr gerade ein Paradebeispiel für "Das-ist-sooooooooo-typisch-Birgit"-Miniaturen gesehen habt???

And now it's time to be honest... Who noticed when looking at the photo above that you've just witnessed a perfect example for "This-is-sooooooo-typically-Birgit"-miniatures???

Rosey und ich haben uns weggeschmissen vor Lachen... mehr Birgit-Touch geht wirklich nicht. Endlich auch en miniature - Birgits legendäre Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Boxen!!! (Obwohl die in echt nicht so schick aussehen und zahlreicher sind *breitgrins*) Wie gesagt - das musste ja mal so kommen! *lach* Und alles zusammen sieht dann so aus:

(Although the real ones don't look as pretty and there are for sure more than just three *broadgrin*) As we said - this had to happen one day! *LOL* And all together look like this: 

Und nun können wir Euch endlich zeigen, wie all das im neuen Bastelzimmer des Bärchenhauses aussieht. Und bitte nicht wundern, die Deckenlampen haben kaltweißes Licht und das wirkt auf den Fotos sehr bläulich. Noch mal zur Erinnerung - so sah der Raum früher als Esszimmer aus:

Ein wahrgewordener Traum von Bastelraum... so viel Platz... Ich gestehe: Ich bin ein wenig neidisch. Auch wenn Blau nicht so ganz meine Farbe ist - aber in dem Raum könnte ich mich auch wohlfühlen. Und habe ich schon erwähnt, wie viel Platz man da hat... nicht so wie gewisse Blogbärchen, die nur einen sehr kleinen Arbeitsplatz haben.

A dream of a craft room come true... so much space... I must confess: I am a little bit jealous. Although blue is not really my color - but in this romm I too could feel very comfortable. And did I already mention how much space one would have... unlike certain blogbearies who only have a very small working space.

Meine kleine Schwester meint übrigens, für mich wäre das Platz genug, weil ich im Gegensatz zu ihr kein Bastelbärchen bin. Und sie meint auch, dass ich mich bitte daran erinnern solle, wie glücklich ich war, nachdem Birgit mir meinen neuen Arbeitsplatz eingerichtet hat... und hat zugegeben, dass ihr so ein eigenes Bastelzimmer auch total gefallen würde und dass sie das Blau hier nicht stören würde. Dabei kann sie sich über ihren Arbeitsplatz doch gar nicht beklagen... so viel Platz hätte ich auch gern.

Btw Rosey just said that for me this would be space enough because I in opposite to her am no craft beary. And she also said I should please remember who happy I was after Birgit created my new working space... and she also confessed that even she would like to have such an own craft room and that in this case the blue would not bother her. But she has no reason at all to complain about her working space... I wish I would have that much space.

Und dann passt die Hauptfarbe nicht nur zu Rosey sondern auch zur Überschrift unseres heutigen Posts - genau wie das Kalenderbild für den Monat Mai. Und ich finde wirklich, dass ich mir für diese gelungene Überleitung mindestens einen Pluspunkt im Goldenen Buch verdient habe... *flööt*

And of course the main color does not only fit with Rosey but also with the headline of today's post - and so does the calendar picture for the month of May. And I really think that this brilliant bridge should gain me at least one good point in the Golden Book... *tweet*

Diesen in jeder Hinsicht süßen Bären hat Birgits Lieblingstante von einem Lübeck-Ausflug mitgebracht. Leider hat das Foto nur noch Erinnerungswert, denn... wie soll ich sagen... auch wir BiWuBärchen haben eine dunkle Seite. Traurig, aber wahr... wir schrecken nicht vor Kannibalismus zurück... jedenfalls nicht, wenn es sich um einen Bären aus köstlichem Marzipan handelt. ;O)

This beary being sweet in every way was given to us by Birgit's dearest aunt when she came home from visiting Lübeck (Lübeck is one of the biggest cities in our home state and world's capital of marzipan. Do I need to mention at all that the company of Niederegger is situated there? *grin*) Sadly this photo is now only showing a memory because... how am I supposed to say this... even us BiWuBearies have a dark side. Sad but true... we don't even give a da*n about cannibalism... at least not as long as we're talking about a beary made of yummy marzipan. ;O)
