Ch-ch-ch-changes

Hallo,

 

seid Ihr inzwischen alle wieder gut im Alltag angekommen? Na, die meisten von Euch sicher... obwohl natürlich einige unserer Blogfreunde erst diese Woche Weihnachten gefeiert haben. Und habt Ihr gute Vorsätze für 2015 (Nein, ich werde nicht fragen, ob Ihr die, wenn Ihr denn welche habt, immer noch einhaltet... *teehee*)? Nun, wir hier haben keine... Birgit ist ja sowieso immer stur und meint, wenn sie irgendwas ändern wolle, dann könne sie das jederzeit machen und nicht ausgerechnet dann, wenn sich die Jahreszahl ändert. Und was mich angeht... *pfiffel*... was sollte ICH mir schon vornehmen? Weniger an Erdbeeren zu denken oder so? Buahaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
... and did all of you return successfully to every-day-life in the meantime? Most of you I bet... although some of our blogfriends were celebrating their Christmas this week. And do you have New Year's resolutions (No, I'm not going to ask if you might have broken them already in case you should have had some... *teehee*)? Well, we don't have any... Birgit being stubborn as usual says if she wanted to change something she could do that anytime and not because of a changing year's date. And talking about me... *tweet*... what kind of resolutions am I supposed to make? Thinking less about strawberries or something like that? Buahaaahaaaaaaaaaaa...

 

Nachdem ich mir die Lachtränen wieder abgewischt habe, komme ich aber wieder auf unser heutiges Anliegen. Denn wenn wir auch nichts von Neujahrsvorsätzen halten, so ist auch für uns ein neues Jahr eine hervorragende Gelegenheit, einige Dinge anders zu machen als bisher. Schließlich ist es ganz praktisch wenn man sagen kann "bis 2014 war es so und ab 2015 haben wir das geändert". Ja, und für uns war es einfach Zeit, mal ein paar Dinge zu ändern. Wir haben hier lange überlegt und diskutiert - und das ist dabei rausgekommen:
After wiping away tears of laughter I'm getting to today's topic. Although we don't make any New Year's resolutions a new year is for sure a good occasion for making some changes. It's somehow useful if you can say "until 2014 we did it this way and from 2015 on we made it different". Yes, and it was about time for us to make a few changes. We had a lot of talking and discussing - and these are the results:

Meine kleine Schwester durfte ja letztes Jahr alle Posts präsentieren, die mit dem Bau ihres Flower Cottages zu tun hatten. Birgit und ich finden, dass sie das so gut gemacht hat, dass wir sie zum offiziellen 2. Blogbärchen ernennen, das heißt, Rosey wird auch weiterhin Posts übernehmen oder mit mir zusammen auftauchen. Mir kann das nur Recht sein... da bleibt mir mehr Zeit für's Privatleben und für meine Hobbies... Erdbeeren essen zum Beispiel... *grins*
Last year my little sis' was allowed to present all posts about the building of her Flower Cottage herself. Birgit and I agree that she did a very good job with this and decided to announce her to become the 2nd official blogbeary which means that Rosey will continue to present posts or will appear together with me. I'm really satisfied with this... this means more time for my private life and my hobbies... eating strawberries for example... *grin*

Geschenke / Gifts

Gibt es jemanden, der nicht gerne Geschenke bekommt? Ich glaube nicht... wir jedenfalls freuen uns immer total, wenn irgendwo irgendjemand lieb an uns denkt und wir haben durch Geschenke inzwischen eine Kollektion der wunderbarsten von Freunden gemachten Schätze in unserem Besitz. Und umgekehrt machen auch wir sehr gerne anderen eine Freude. Und doch... wir haben inzwischen so viele liebe Blogfreunde auf der ganzen Welt, dass wir uns in der Tat Gedanken machen mussten, wie wir das zukünftig handhaben wollen/können. Schließlich ist es ganz schön zeit- und kostenintensiv, wenn man liebe Blogger zum Geburtstag, zu Weihnachten und vielleicht noch zu Ostern usw. bedenken möchte.
Is there anybody who doesn't like to receive gifts? I don't think so... we are always over the moon whenever someone kindly thinks of us and we proudly own a collection of the most wonderful treasures made by friends in the meantime. And vice versa we really like to send some joy to others. Nevertheless... in the meantime we have so many dear blogfriends around the world that we had no other choice than thinking about how to handle this for the future. There's no denying that it takes a lot of time and money if you intend to send some goodies to dear bloggers at birthdays, Christmas, maybe Easter and so on.

 Wir haben uns da letztes Jahr bereits mit einigen lieben Blogfreundinnen ausgetauscht und festgestellt, dass die das ganz ähnlich sahen wie wir - aber eine richtige Lösung, wie man das besser machen könnte, haben wir nicht gefunden. Aber in einem Punkt waren wir uns einig: Beim Bloggen sollte es um kreativen Austausch gehen - über unser gemeinsames Hobby, über unsere Arbeiten, über unsere Methoden. Es soll Anregungen geben, Inspiration sein oder einfach nur Freude bringen, wenn man wieder einmal feststellen darf, wie viel Talent sich da draußen verbirgt.
Last year we have been discussing this topic with a few dear blogfriends and found out that they're sharing our concerns - but we didn't find a real solution how we could improve this. But we agreed in one point: Blogging should be about creative exchange - about the hobbies we share, about our works, about our methods. It shall give us tutorials, be our inspiration or just give us joy whenever we're able to find out how many talent is out there.

Und darauf möchten wir uns wieder etwas mehr konzentrieren und deshalb haben wir uns für Folgendes entschieden: Ab sofort verschenken wir nur noch zu Weihnachten kleine Aufmerksamkeiten, nicht mehr an Geburtstagen, nicht mehr an Ostern oder wann auch immer. Wir bitten Euch alle herzlich um Verständnis, seid uns bitte deswegen nicht böse! Wir haben uns bewusst für Weihnachtsgeschenke entschieden - einer der Hauptgründe ist ganz einfach, dass wir von einigen unserer Blogfreunde die Geburtstage wissen, von anderen nicht. Und auch mit dem termingerechten Versand ist es gerade bei internationaler Post immer mehr als schwierig... alles Probleme, die wir mit Weihnachtsaufmerksamkeiten nicht haben.
This is what we would like to concentrate on and that's why we made this decision: From now on we are only sending gifts at Christmas but no longer for birthdays, Easter or whatever occasion. We really beg for your understanding and please don't be angry with us! Our decision for just Christmas gifts was easily done - one of the main reasons is that we don't know the dates of all our dear blogfriend's birthdays. And it's never easy sending something for a special date with international mail... all of these problems we won't have anymore when shipping Christmas gifts only.

Das ist unser Weg... um ein bisschen mehr Zeit für unser Hobby und für unseren Blog zu haben. Und nun dürft Ihr alle auf der Stelle Birgits Geburtstag vergessen... *lach*
This is our way to do it... to get a bit more time for our hobby and our blog. And now all of you should forget the date of Birgit's birthday at once... *LOL*

Kaffeeklatsch

Ja, auch unser Kaffeeklatsch war Gegenstand unserer Überlegungen... und ehrlich gesagt... Ende 2014 hatte Birgit eigentlich schon entschieden, den Kaffeeklatsch mit Beginn dieses Jahres einzustellen. Es ist nämlich wirklich mit sehr viel Arbeit verbunden, Woche für Woche so einen Post zu machen... und wir schreiben ja auch jeden Post 2 mal. Hinzu kommt noch ein ganz praktischer Grund: Hier bei uns leben gar nicht mehr genug BiWuBärchen, um 52 mal Kaffeeklatsch voll zu bekommen.
Yes, our "Kaffeeklatsch" too was a topic to be discussed... and honestly speaking... at the end of 2014 Birgit had already decided to stop doing "Kaffeeklatsch"-posts with the beginning of this year. You must know it is really a lot of work doing such a post every week... and remember we always have to write our posts twice. And whatsmore there's a practical reason: There aren't enough BiWuBearies living around here anymore for 52 times "Kaffeeklatsch"

Aber nun kommt ein großes ABER... und das kam durch unseren Internet-Ärger. Während unserer 6-wöchigen Zwangspause bekamen wir dermaßen liebe E-Mails, in denen immer wieder etwas stand wie z. B. "ein Sonntag ohne Kaffeeklatsch ist kein Sonntag"... das hat dann ordentlich Augenschweiß fließen lassen. Und deshalb haben wir nun entschieden: Der Kaffeeklatsch wird begnadigt... es wird auch weiterhin jeden Sonntag ein BiWuBärchen aus einer Kaffeeklatschtasse grüßen. Allerdings - wir werden mit dem Kaffeeklatsch in eine längere Sommerpause gehen. Dann ist es auf den Blogs ohnehin immer viel ruhiger und damit lösen wir dann auch das Problem, 52 Wochen zu füllen... ;O)
But here comes the big "ANYHOW"... caused by our internet trouble. During the six weeks without access to the internet we received so many kind e-mails all saying things like "a Sunday without "Kaffeeklatsch" is no Sunday"... well, this caused floods of eyesweat for sure. And that's why we decided in the end: The "Kaffeeklatsch" is granted parole... there will still be a BiWuBeary greeting out of a "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup on Sundays. Nevertheless - "Kaffeeklatsch" is going to take a long summer break. During summer it's always more quiet in blogland and this way we're solving the problem with filling 52 weeks... ;O)

Das war's auch schon mit den Änderungen... ansonsten bleiben wir, wer, wie und was wir sind... *lach* Und bevor ich mich für heute von Euch verabschiede, muss ich noch dringend etwas Wichtiges erledigen. Wir haben nämlich noch ein überraschendes Weihnachtsgeschenk bekommen - ein sehr weit gereistes... aus Australien von unseren lieben Freunden Kay und Wilbur. Wer von Euch die Beiden noch nicht kennt - es lohnt sich... Kay ist eine der liebenswürdigsten Blogerinnen überhaupt und macht wunderschöne Bären... und Wilbur - ja, Wilbur ist eben Wilbur! Seht mal, was die Beiden uns geschickt haben - einen Gruß aus Australien:

If you don't know their blog so far - it's worth a visit... Kay is one of the most darling bloggers and makes beautiful bears... and Wilbur - well, Wilbur is the one and only Wilbur for sure! Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 230)

Hallo

 

und herzlich Willkommen zum 1. Kaffeeklatsch im Jahr 2015! Ich hoffe, Ihr hattet alle bis jetzt einen tollen Jahresstart - wir haben bis jetzt an 2015 nichts auszusetzen. *schmunzel* Und so schön die Weihnachtszeit und die Feiertage auch waren, aber wenn jetzt der Alltag wieder kommt, ist das eigentlich auch nicht schlecht. Hier bei uns konnte man traditionell bereits an Neujahr rufen "Weihnachtsdeko?!" und hat keine Antwort bekommen, denn Birgit hatte bis Mittag auch noch die letzten Weihnachtssachen weggepackt. So ist das bei uns - neues Jahr, alles auf Anfang.

... and a heartwarm welcome to the 1st "Kaffeeklatsch" in the year 2015! Hopefully all of you had a great start into the New Year - so far we have no reason to complain about 2015. *smile* And although Christmas season and the holidays were wonderful we don't mind at all getting back to every-day-routine. Around here you could already call at Jan 1st "Christmas decoration?!" - without getting an answer because Birgit had stored all the Christmas boxes and bags at noon. That's the way it goes around here - New Year means a new start.

 

Und das gilt natürlich auch für den Kaffeeklatsch, denn mit dem Beginn des neuen Jahres kommt ja auch eine neue Kaffeklatschtasse. Wir haben inzwischen ja schon einige Modelle durch - das hier war die Allererste in 2010:

Ja, wir haben uns entschieden, den wunderschönen Becher zu nehmen, den Silke uns zu Weihnachten geschenkt hat. Er ist zwar schon wieder etwas kleiner und ich höre unsere drei Großen jetzt schon wieder jammern, aber da müssen die durch... *höhö*

Yes, we decided to use the beautiful mug Silke gave to us as a Christmas gift. Although it's once more a bit smaller and I can already hear our 3 big ones complaining but they'll have to cope with it... *teehee*

 

Aber natürlich gab es noch etwas, was an Neujahr bei uns wichtig war... genau, Birgits neue Kalender aufzuhängen! Und Ihr kennt mich ja... ich höre natürlich auch in diesem Jahr nicht auf, ein Gentlebär zu sein... Selbstverständlich habe ich meiner Birgit wieder geholfen und selbstverständlich gibt es auch wieder einen neuen Sprüchekalender. Und der kommt uns gleich mit einem wunderschönen Winterbild und einem Zitat von Schiller: "An diesem Augenblicke hängt die Welt."

But of course there was something else important at New Year's Day... sure, hanging Birgit's new calendars in place! And you all know me... of course I'm not stopping being the gentlebear that I am this year... Of course I have helped my Birgit once more and of course there was once more a nice wisdom calendar waiting. And it starts with a beautiful winter picture and a saying by Schiller (as always we're not going to quote but try to say it in our own poor English), he said the world clings to this moment.

         

 

Ja, das hat er schön gesagt, unser großer deutscher Dichter. Aber natürlich habe ich noch ein paar schöne Gedanken für Euch heraus gesucht, zunächst eine japanische Weisheit: "Das Glück kommt zu denen, die lachen." Hmm... mal ausprobieren! *lach* Und hier kommt noch eine Erkenntnis, die Antoine de Saint-Exupéry formuliert hat - und dabei darf man nicht vergessen, dass der ja 1944 bereits verstorben ist: "Die Menschen haben keine Zeit mehr, irgendetwas kennenzulernen. Sie kaufen alles fertig in den Geschäften. Aber da es keine Kaufläden für Freunde gibt, haben die Leute keine Freunde mehr."

Yes, a very nice thought from our great German writer. But of course I have some more nice thoughts to share, first a wisdom from Japan, it says happiness comes to those who are laughing. Hmm... let's give it a try! *LOL* And here's an insight written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - and let's not forget that he died much too early in 1944. He said people wouldn't take the time anymore to get familiar with anything. They would buy everything ready-made in shops. And due to the fact that there are no shops for friends people wouldn't have friends anymore.

 

Darüber lohnt es sich nachzudenken, oder? Und vielleicht sollten wir uns wirklich bewusst Zeit nehmen, um etwas oder jemanden kennenzulernen - und natürlich auch für einen schönen, gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch! Und deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine tolle Woche und überhaupt ein schönes Jahr wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch!

Zu guter Letzt...

Hallo,

 

und herzlich Willkommen zu unserem letzten Post in diesem Jahr! Ja, nun ist er da - der letzte Tag des Jahres 2014... und 2015 ist schon in Sicht. Aber erst mal gilt es ja, Silvester zu überstehen... nicht so unsere Abteilung... was am Feuerwerk liegt. Genau wie Eure Hunde, Katzen und sonstigen Haustiere mögen auch wir Bärchen die Knallerei überhaupt nicht. Aber man soll ja doch die Feste feiern wie sie fallen und deshalb sind Rosey und ich - wie Ihr sehen könnt - schon mitten in den Vorbereitungen für heute Abend.

... and a heartwarm welcome to our last post in this year! Yes, now it's here - the last day of the year 2014... and 2015 already in sight. But before that we got to stand New Year's Eve... not really our alley... because of the fireworks. Like your dogs, cats and other pets we bearies too totally dislike that banging and noise. But otherwise you should celebrate the holidays as they come and that's why Rosey and I - as you can see - are busy with our preparations for this evening.

           

         

Aber vorher haben wir noch einiges vor mit Euch - denn bevor das neue Jahr beginnt, wollen wir Euch unbedingt noch all die wunderbaren Sachen zeigen, die wir von lieben Blogfreunden zu Weihnachten bekommen haben. Natürlich haben wir alles, was liebevoll eingepackt war, erst an Heiligabend geöffnet (*seufz* Jaja, Birgit hat wieder total aufgepasst... die immer mit ihrem "alles hat seine Zeit") - und haben auf diese Weise eben die Vorfreude in vollen Zügen genossen.

But first we still have some business to do - before the new year begins we really want to show to you all the wonderful gifts we got from dear blogfriends for Christmas. And of course everything that was wrapped up nicely was not opened before Christmas Eve (*sigh* Yes, Birgit had once more her eyes everywhere... while preaching about "everything needs to have its own time") - but this way we could enjoy the time of anticipation even more.

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 229)

Hallo

 

und herzlich Willkommen zum letzten Kaffeeklatsch des Jahres 2014! Wir haben zwischenzeitlich ja gar nicht mehr geglaubt, dass das dieses Jahr überhaupt noch mal was werden würde mit der Bloggerei und dem Kaffeeklatsch... um so mehr freue ich mich, dass ich Euch heute begrüßen darf. Aber vielleicht sollte ich mich erst einmal vorstellen, denn Ihr kennt mich ja noch gar nicht... *schmunzel* Ich bin Lady Erica de Winter, eine neue Snow Lady - und ich bin sehr stolz, denn ich durfte am 1. Dezember den Adventskalender von Birgits Eltern eröffnen.

Some time ago we had not much hope left that we could go back to blogging and "Kaffeeklatsch" during this year... that's why I'm very, very happy being able to greet you today. But maybe I should better introduce myself first because you don't know me so far... *smile* I am Lady Erica de Winter, a new Snow Lady - and I am proud because I was chosen to be the gift in the Advent calendar of Birgit's parents for December 1st.

            

               

Aber es gibt noch jemanden, der in der Zwischenzeit von Birgits Nadel gehüpft ist - Cappucina (die wir aber einfach nur Cina rufen)! Cina war Birgits Weihnachtsgeschenk für Melli - und natürlich soll auch sie wenigstens einmal ihren Auftritt in der Kaffeeklatschtasse haben:

But there's another one who hopped from Birgit's needle in the meantime - Cappucina (who we all just call Cina)! Cina was Birgit's Christmas present for Melli - and of course she shall also have at least one appearance in the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug:

             

            

Bisher war Fluci in Mellis Heim mit seiner Leidenschaft für Kaffee etwas allein auf weiter Flur - aber Cina wird ihn da ab sofort verstärken (Wobei Birgit hofft, dass es in punkto Verstärkung beim Kaffeetrinken bleibt... und es sich nicht auch auf's Blödsinn machen erstreckt... *oha*). Wir sind jedenfalls ganz sicher, dass Cina im neuen Zuhause heute zusammen mit Fluci einen wunderbaren Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch haben wird... was übrigens eine gute Idee für uns alle ist. Denn mal ehrlich... ein schöner Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch macht den Sonntag doch erst richtig schön, oder? Vielleicht lasst Ihr ja auch noch mal das vergangene Jahr Revue passieren... und genießt dabei ein, zwei Tässchen leckeren Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckeren Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Ich jedenfalls wünsche Euch alles Liebe für die letzten Tage des Jahres und schon mal alles Gute für das neue Jahr! So far Fluci being passionate for coffee was alone with his taste at Melli's home - but now Cina has come to support him (And Birgit really hopes that this support is only dedicated to drinking coffee... and not to fooling around... *oops*). But we are convinced that today Cina will have a wonderful Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" together with Fluci at her new home... which is of course an excellent idea for all of us. Let's be honest... it takes a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" to make the Sunday nice, doesn't it? And maybe you're having a little review of the goneby year... while enjoying one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. I'm taking this opportunity to wish to you all the best for the few remaining days of this year and for wishing all the best for the next! ja, da staunt Ihr - wir sind's!!! Hat uns jemand vermisst? *lach*

... well, are you surprised - it's us!!! Did anybody miss us? *LOL*

         

       

Wie viele von Euch wissen, waren wir fast 6 Wochen ohne Internet und Telefon - das hat echt Nerven gekostet, wirklich niederschmetternd, wie kundenorientiert *hüstel* so ein Internet-Provider sein kann (Bei dem unseren kommt man übrigens auf 2 wenn man den Firmennamen addiert...). Wir hatten eigentlich auch schon jede Hoffnung aufgegeben, dass das dieses Jahr noch was wird - aber da haben wir uns dann sehr gerne geirrt. Immerhin funktioniert die Technik wieder gerade rechtzeitig genug, dass wir einen Weihnachtsgruß an Euch schicken können.

As many of you already know we've been without internet and telephone for almost 6 weeks - this brought us close to a nervous breakdown, it's frustrating how "customer-friendly" our internet provider is. We already had given up any hope that this would be fixed this year - but having been wrong made us really happy this time. At least technology is working again just in time to enable us to send a Christmas greeting to you.

 

Falls Ihr Euch fragen solltet, was wir in der Zwischenzeit so gemacht haben - ganz einfach: Wir BiWuBärchen hatten wieder mal Spaß ohne Ende auf dem BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt. Zu schade, ich hätte Euch gerne auch dieses Jahr wieder auf einen Bummel mitgenommen... obwohl... eigentlich ist es doch noch gar nicht zu spät dazu!

And in case you might wonder what we've done in the meantime - that's simple: We BiWuBearies were having loads of fun at our BiWuBeary Christmas Market. Kind of sad that I couldn't take you with me on a little tour this year... although... somehow it's not too late for that yet!

Und - ist Euch was aufgefallen? Genau - der Verkäufer vom Erzgebirgsstand hat Sabienchen, die sich auch dieses Jahr wieder nicht entscheiden konnte, was sie denn nun kaufen möchte, sogar einen Hocker hingestellt. DAS nenne ich mal Kundenfreundlichkeit... *grins* Und natürlich habe ich ab 1. Dezember jeden Morgen als Erstes meinem Adventskalender "Hallo" gesagt... *grins*

And - did you notice? Sure - the seller of the "Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" offered a stool to Sabienchen, who once more wasn't able to decide what to buy this year. THAT'S what I'm calling being customer friendly... *grin* And of course since December 1st the first thing for me to do every morning was saying "Hello" to my Advent calendar... *grin*

               

              

Schade nur, dass es damit nun schon wieder ein Ende hat... die Zuckerstange heute am 24. ist das letzte Präsent - und noch soooooooooo furchtbar viele Tage bis zum nächsten 1. Dezember. Ob ich es doch noch schaffe, Birgit davon zu überzeugen, dass ich in Übung bleiben muss die nächsten elf Monate über? *seufz* Wohl eher nicht...

Somehow sad that this is already over again... the candy cane I found today at Dec 24 was the last gift - and there are sooooooooo many days to come until next Dec 1st. Would I ever manage to convince Birgit that it's important for me to have practice during the next eleven months? *sigh* No way...

 

Immerhin bleibt mir ein Trost - heute an Heiligabend warten jede Menge Geschenke auf mich... äh... auf uns *höhö* - so viele liebe Blogfreunde haben an uns gedacht. (Und Birgit hat erfolgreich verhindert, dass ich vorher da bei gehe... "Der Weihnachtsmann sieht alles" hat sie gesagt... *uffa*) Deshalb möchten wir auch an dieser Stelle noch mal "Danke" sagen an alle, die so lieb an uns gedacht haben... die uns mit spannenden Päckchen verwöhnt haben... uns Grüße geschickt haben... nach uns gefragt und sich sogar Sorgen um uns gemacht haben. Vielen Dank an Euch alle - wir haben Euch wirklich arg vermisst. Seid uns bitte nicht böse, aber wir werden die letzten 6 Wochen nicht nachholen können. Aber wir freuen uns darauf, ab sofort wieder Eure Blogs besuchen zu können.

Nevertheless there's still a big joy left for me - today at Christmas Eve there are a lot of presents waiting for me... eh... for us *teehee* - so many dear blogfriends kindly thought of us (And Birgit successfully prevented me from having an early look... "Santa sees everything" she said... *oops*) That's why we would like to say "Thank you" once more to all of you thinking so kindly of us... spoiling us with exciting packages... sending us greetings... caring about us and sometimes even worrying about us. Thanks to all of you for your care and sympathy - and we really missed you. But please forgive us that we won't be able to keep up with the last 6 weeks we missed around here. But we're glad being able to visit your blogs again from now on.
