Frohe Ostern / Happy Easter

 Hallo,

da sind wir wieder - rechtzeitig, um Euch schöne und hoffentlich sonnige Ostertage zu wünschen.

... here we are again - just in time to wish you some lovely and hopefully sunny days of Easter.

Und natürlich auch, um Euch daran zu erinnern, dass an Ostern ein schöner, gemütlicher Osternachmittagskaffeeklatsch eine richtig gute Idee wäre. Ihr wisst ja... mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Osternachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Osternachmittagskuchen. Naja, und ehrlich gesagt... das eine oder andere Stückchen Schokolade in Hasen- oder Eierform würde auch nicht schaden. *zwinker* So etwas in der Art hat sich wohl auch unsere liebe Freundin Ilona gedacht, als sie ihren Ostergruß für uns gepackt hat. Der enthielt nämlich jede Menge leckere Kalorien... aber auch etwas für unseren Garten. 

And of course also for reminding you that it would be a really great idea to enjoy a lovely, cozy Easterafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" at Easter. You know... with one, two cups of tasty Easterafternooncoffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Easterafternooncake. Well, honestly speaking... one or a few more pieces of chocolate coming along in the shape of bunnies or eggs would be appreciated too. *wink* Something like that must also have beein in our dear friend Ilona's mind when she was packing her Easter greeting for us. This contained plenty of yummy calories... as well as something for our garden.

Und wo wir schon mal vom Garten sprechen *grins*... herzlich Willkommen zu Folge 93927 unserer *hüstel* beliebten Reihe "Und schon wieder jede Menge Bilder von BiWuBärchen im Garten"... heute sozusagen in der Osteredition, denn die Bilder wurden am Ostersamstag aufgenommen.

And while speaking about the garden *grin*... a heartfelt welcome to volume 93927 of our *coughcough* beloved series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden"... today somehow in the Easter edition as these photos were taken at Easter Saturday.

Aber in unserem heutigen Post möchten wir Euch auch noch einmal mit ins Bärchenhaus nehmen - und hoffen, Ihr erinnert Euch überhaupt noch daran. Eigentlich hatten wir vorgehabt, Euch den letzten neu renovierten Raum im Herbst zu zeigen - aber das Leben hatte bekanntlich andere Pläne... Nun wollen wir das endlich nachholen und beginnen aber erst einmal mit ein paar Erinnerungsfotos. So sah das Bärchenhaus vor der notwendigen Renovierung aus:

But in today's post we would also like to take you along once more to the Beary House - and we hope you still remember it at all. We had intended to show the last renovated room to you during autumn - but you may remember that life had other plans... Now we want to finally catch up with this but we're starting first with a few photos to refresh your memory. This is how the Beary House looked before the renovation started:

Was wir Euch bisher noch nicht zeigen konnten, ist die Verwandlung des ehemaligen Esszimmers. So sah das vorher aus - ein sehr kleiner und dunkler Raum.

What we couldn't show to you so far was the makeover of the former dining room. This is how it looked like - a very small and dark room.

Einige werden sich vielleicht noch erinnern, dass aus dem Esszimmer ein Bastelraum werden sollte. Zum einen hat Birgit den Essbereich ja inzwischen erfolgreich im Wohnzimmer mit untergebracht und hey, was für eine Gelegenheit, sich den Traum eines Bastelraums en miniature zu verwirklichen, oder? Wobei der Grund bei Birgit eher darin liegt, dass sie total von einem Bausatz für einen ganz besonderen Schreibtisch begeistert war... und dieser besondere Schreibtisch dann einen besonderen Platz benötigte. Wir haben Euch das Teil ja schon ausführlich gezeigt - hier kommt er trotzdem  noch mal:

Some of you may still remember that the dining room was meant to be turned into a craft room. On the one hand Birgit managed to place the dining furniture in the living room and hey, what an occasion to realize the dream of a craft room en miniature, right? But Birgit's main reason was that she fell in love with a kit for a very special work desk... and this special work desk needed a very special place. We've shown you this piece and its details before - anyhow, here it is again:

Und jetzt kommen noch ein paar alte Bekannte... die wir hier aber noch einmal zeigen, weil sie einen Platz im neuen Bastelzimmer erhalten werden. Da wären zum Beispiel eine von Birgits selbstgemachten Flowerboxes, ...

Auch mein alter Sessel wird eine neue Heimat im Bastelzimmer des Bärchenhauses finden - genau wie das spektakuläre Kissen, dass Pilar gestickt und uns geschenkt hat.

Und wo wir gerade von Pilar sprechen... unsere liebe Freundin hat uns auch diese Muschelbox geschenkt, die Rosey auf dem Archivfoto in den Pfoten hält. Das Teil ist natürlich perfekt für das Bärchenhaus mit seinem maritimen Thema und wird ebenfalls eine Heimat im Bastelzimmer bekommen.

While speaking of Pilar... our dear friend also gave us this shell box as a gift, the one Rosey is holding in her paws at this photo from our archives. This piece is of course perfect for the Beary House with its maritime theme and will also receive a home in the craft room.

Und es werden noch weitere Geschenke von Pilar im Bastelzimmer zu finden sein - nämlich die Narnia-Bücher, die Pilar für uns gemacht hat. Ergänzt werden sie durch ein Exemplar der Unendlichen Geschichte - aus Gründen der Stabilität. *grins*

And even more gifts by Pilar will be in the craft room - namely the collection of Narnia books Pilar made for us. They will be added by a version of the Neverending Story - for reasons of stability. *grin*

Und Stabilität ist irgendwie wichtig angesichts des Regals, das Birgit für die Bücher vorgesehen hat. Aber schaut selbst:

Oha... sieht eher aus, als ob es in einen der Hexentürme gehören würde, oder? *grins* Und der Gedanke ist gar nicht mal so verkehrt, denn dieses kleine selbstgebaute Regal, das so tapfer der Schwerkraft trotzt, hat Birgit früher als Display für die magischen Miniaturen benutzt, die sie über ihren Etsy-Shop angeboten hat wie z. B. dieses Set:

Oops... looks like it should better find a home in one of the Witch Towers, shouldn't it? *grin* And this relation is not surprising as this little selfmade shelf which is so courageously denying gravity was used by Birgit as a display for magical miniatures back then when she was still running her Etsy shop, for example with a set like this:

Birgit hat bis heute nicht bereut, dass sie ihren Shop geschlossen hat, deshalb konnte das Regal nun einem neuen Zweck zugeführt werden - und bekam erst einmal einen weißen Anstrich.

Until today Birgit did not feel any regret about closing her shop that's why the shelf could now find a new dedication - but first it received a coat with paint of white.

Immer noch ein besonderes Regal... das irgendwie auch besonders gefüllt werden musste. Fand jedenfalls Birgit - und weil es ja nun mal um ein Bastelzimmer geht... noch dazu um ein Bastelzimmer eines Miniaturisten... und weil Birgit für das Ganze verantwortlich ist... tja... da blieb es eben nicht dabei, das Regal nur mit ein paar Büchern zu füllen. *grins*

Still a very special shelf... which also needed to be filled in a special way. That's at least what Birgit thought - and because all of this is about a craft room... and even more the craft room of a miniaturist... and because Birgit is in charge for all of this... well... that's why it was no option at all to fill the shelf with just a few books. *grin*

Und... seid Ihr schon gespannt, wie sich all diese neuen Dinge im renovierten Raum machen werden? Na, dann freut Euch auf unseren nächsten Post... *breitgrins* Für heute verabschieden wir uns nämlich - aber natürlich nicht, ohne Euch schöne Ostern und einen schönen Rest-April zu wünschen. Und das hier müssen wir auch noch nachreichen...

Frühling / Spring

 Hallo,

da sind wir wieder! Wird ja auch Zeit... wir mussten hier auf dem Blog erst mal feucht durchwischen weil alles so staubig war. Aber gut, ist ja auch die richtige Zeit für den Frühjahrsputz - schließlich hat der Frühling inzwischen auch kalendarisch begonnen. Und auch im Garten wird es langsam Frühling... aber bevor sich jetzt jemand auf Folge 93927 unserer *hüstel* beliebten Serie "Und schon wieder jede Menge Bilder von BiWuBärchen im Garten" freut... tut uns leid, wir haben heute nur ein Bild, Folge 93927 muss also noch warten. Aber dieses eine Bild ist (finden wir jedenfalls) besonders schön, denn diese Veilchen sind so niedlich.

... it's us again! And it's about time... we needed to wipe the blog with a damp cloth first because everything was covered with dust around here. Anyhow, this is for sure the right time for spring cleaning - by now spring has officially arrived even according to the calendar. And in the garden too spring is arriving... but before anybody might start to look forward to volume 93927 of our *coughcough* beloved series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden"... we're sorry but today we have only one photo that's why volume 93927 needs to wait a little longer. But this one picture is (according to us) extra lovely because these violets are so cute.

Und wir wünschten, es gäbe eine Art "Duftdatei", dann könntet Ihr auch schnuppern, wie wunderbar die duften. Mit unseren ungefähr 9 stolzen Bärchenzentimetern haben Rosey und ich da natürlich einen unschlagbaren Größenvorteil... aber Birgit mit ihren 1,74 m schwört, dass sie den Duft sogar im Stehen riecht. Wollen wir ihr das mal glauben... *kicher* Und nun tief durchatmen... jetzt kommt ein radikaler Zeitenwechsel, denn wir wechseln nun vom Frühling direkt wieder zurück in den Winter und in die Weihnachtszeit. Nutzt nichts, denn das Wenige, was Birgit in der Zwischenzeit basteltechnisch zustande gebracht hat, hat mit Weihnachten zu tun.

And we'd wish there was something like a "file for scents" enabling you to smell how wonderful their scent is. With our about 9 proud beary centimeters Rosey and I have for sure an unbeatable size advantage... but Birgit with her 1,74 m swears that she would be able to smell their scent even while standing. Well, let's just believe her... *giggle* And now let's take a deep breath... because now we're making a big jump back in time and change from spring directly back to winter and into Christmas time. We can't help it, the few things Birgit managed to craft in the meantime are all related to Christmas.

Birgit und ihre Kreativität sind immer noch nicht in der Lage, ein richtiges Projekt anzugehen. Weil Birgit aber genau weiß, dass Basteln ihr gut tut, konzentriert sie sich im Moment auf kleinere Arbeiten... z. B. Blumen aus Bastelsets oder das Bemalen von 3D-Druck-Miniaturen. Und das Erste, was Birgit angefangen hat, waren die bärigen Nußknacker. Wir hatten Euch ja bereits in einem früheren Post erzählt, wie besonders die sind: Einer war ein Geschenk von Huibrecht und das Paar hat Birgit gekauft in Erinnerung an die stille Blogleserin, die eigentlich vorgehabt hatte, ihrer Tochter diese Nußknacker zu Weihnachten zu schenken. Nun musste Birgit sich die selbst kaufen... und es wurde ihre erste Bastelarbeit "Danach". Wie erwartet war das schwer... was man sogar an der Tatsache merkt, dass Birgit nur ein Mal daran gedacht hat, Zwischendurch-Fotos zu machen. Wir zeigen Euch deshalb eine Collage der Blanko-Nussknacker mit Fotos, die wir von der Nalladris-Webseite genommen haben. Nebenbei bemerkt - auf deren Fotos sind die Details viel besser zu sehen als auf den Figuren. Es braucht in jedem Fall erst mal eine Schicht Gesso, um überhaupt etwas erkennen zu können.

Birgit and her creativity are still not able to start a real project. But because Birgit knows well that crafting is good for her she's concentrating on smaller jobs now... like for example flowers from kits or painting 3D printed miniatures. And the first thing Birgit started with were the beary nutcrackers. We already told you in a previous post how special these are: One was a gift from Huibrecht and Birgit bought the pair in memory of the silent blogreader who had planned to give these nutcrackers to her daughter as a Christmas gift. Now Birgit had to buy them herself... and they became her first craft job "After". As one would expect this was very hard... what you can even notice from the fact that Birgit remembered only one time to take a WIP-photo. That's why we're showing a collage of the blank nutcrackers with photos taken from the website of Nalladris. Btw - their photos show the detail much better as they can be seen at the real pieces. It needs for sure a coat with gesso to recognize anything at all.

Nach einigen Begegnungen mit Birgits Pinseln sah einer der Nussknacker dann so aus:

After several meetings with Birgit's brushes one of the nutcrackers looked like this:

Man erkennt schon, wo die Reise hingehen soll, oder? Birgit wollte einen der Nussknacker weihnachtlich machen, weil der für das Weihnachtshaus und/oder den Weihnachtsmarkt vorgesehen ist. Und zu Ehren des lieben Blogfreundes, der uns den Rohling geschenkt hat, haben wir diesen King Huiby genannt. Die anderen Beiden sind - nun, wie soll ich sagen - eine kleine Hommage an zwei gewisse BiWuBärchen, von denen eines ein Flatterbärchen mit einer klitzekleinen Schwäche für Erdbeeren und das andere ein Blumenbärchen mit einem riesengroßen Pinkfimmel ist. Ihre Namen sind King F und Queen R. Schaut Euch die fertigen Majestäten einfach  mal an - Ihr findet bestimmt heraus, wer wer ist. *zwinker*

Not hard to guess the destination of the journey, isn't it? Birgit wanted to make one of the nutcrackers in Christmas style because this is meant to go into the Christmas House and/or the Christmas Market. And to honor the dear blogfriend who gave the figurine to us we named this one King Huiby. The other two are - well, let me put it this way - a kind of a hommage to two certain blogbearies. One of them is a flutterybeary with a teenytiny weakness for strawberries and the other one is a flower beary being crazy for pink. Their names are King F and Queen R. Just have a look at the finished majesties - we're sure you'll find out who is who. *wink*

Das war nicht schwer, oder? Und weil Birgit ihre Farben und Pinsel nun schon mal auf dem Arbeitstisch verteilt hatte, hat sie gleich weiter gemacht - wieder mit Blanko-Miniaturen von Nalladris.

This was an easy one, right? And while Birgit had already spreaded her paints and brushes over the work desk she just used them once more - again with blank miniatures by Nalladris.

Die sind für unseren Weihnachtsmarkt gedacht, aber natürlich auch eine Hommage an die stille Blogleserin, die bekanntlich Schneemänner geliebt hat. Und wo ich gerade von Hommage spreche... vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch: Im letzten Post hatten wir Euch neben anderen wunderbaren Weihnachtsgeschenken ein bäriges Teeservice gezeigt, das Alex uns geschenkt hat. Das stammt ebenfalls von Nalladris und Birgit besaß bereits so ein Set. Die dazugehörigen Tassen hat Birgit noch unbemalt belassen, weil sie noch nicht sicher ist, ob sie die vielleicht anders bemalt, um sie für den Weihnachtsmarkt zu benutzen. Aber was aus dem Rest werden sollte, das hat Birgit sofort gewußt:

And while I'm already talking about hommage... maybe you remember: In our last post we've shown next to other wonderful Christmas gifts the beary tea set we've received from Alex. This was also made by Nalladris and Birgit already owned another set. Birgit did not paint the included cups so far as she's not yet sure if she should paint them differently to use them for the Christmas Market. But as far as the rest is concerned Birgit knew exactly what to do with them:

Ging nicht anders - schließlich halten die Stücke Erdbeeren (!!!) in den Pfoten... bzw. die große bärige Kanne eine Tasse mit einer winzigen Erdbeere drauf. Ich muß gestehen, ich habe mich kurz gefragt, ob Sun Lemmens von Nalladris  mich vielleicht kennt *lach* - denn man verbindet Bären ja eher mit Honig als mit Erdbeeren. Und ich weiß überhaupt nicht warum, aber als ich mich das laut gefragt habe, haben Rosey und Birgit synchron gestöhnt und die Augen verdreht. Ich hab' das auch nicht immer leicht hier... *grummel* Aber zum Glück gibt es ja Freunde, die einem das Leben schön machen - zum Beispiel in Gestalt unserer lieben Freundin Betsy, die uns einen späten Weihnachtsgruß geschickt hat. Darin fanden wir neben oberleckerer Schoki auch wunderschöne Schneemannperlen aus Glas... hach, und schon haben wir wieder zwei Tränchen verdrückt. Eines für Betsy aus Dankbarkeit, das andere in Erinnerung an die stille Blogleserin, die in jedem Fall gerufen hätte: "Davon ist ja wohl mindestens eine für mich?!"

There was no other way - these pieces are holding strawberries (!!!) in their paws... and the big beary pot holds a cup with a tiny strawberry on. I  must confess that I was wondering for a moment whether Sun Lemmens of Nalladris might know me *LOL* - because usually bears are more related with honey than with strawberries. And I don't know why but when I was wondering aloud Rosey and Birgit groaned and rolled their eyes in sync. Believe me, it's not always that easy for me around here... *grunt* But luckily there are friends who are able to make life so much nicer - for example coming along in the shape of our dear friend Betsy who sent us a late Christmas greeting. In there we found next to very yummy chocolate beautiful snowman pearls made of glass... my, this lead to two tears running down. One for Betsy because of gratitude, the other one in memory of the silent blogreader who would have called for sure: "At least one of them must be meant for me?!"

Aber es gab noch mehr Schätze - zwei weitere Bastelsets für "Secret Books" von Robin Betterley. Vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch... Betsy hat uns bereits letztes Jahr zwei solche Sets geschenkt, von denen Birgit das Set "A visit from St. Nick" gleich bearbeitet hat... selbstverständlich mit einer guten Dosis Birgit-Touch im Inneren. Wir haben das noch mal rausgeholt, damit Ihr sehen könnt, wie so ein "Secret Book" aussieht... und auch einen Rohling dazu gelegt.

But there were even more treasures - two more kits for "Secret Books" by Robin Betterley. Perhaps you remember... Betsy already spoiled us last year with two of those sets and Birgit assembled the kit "A visit from St. Nick" right away... of course with a good dose of Birgit-touch inside. We took this from our stash to show you how such a "Secret Book" looks like... and we've also added a raw assembled one.

"Winter Wonderland" - geschrieben von Frosty Snow. Humor hat sie ja, die Robin. *schmunzel* Aber auch dieses Set bettelte förmlich nach einer Prise Birgit-Touch, denn mal ehrlich, einfach nur den fertigen weißen Papierbaum einzukleben, das wäre ja wohl viel zu langweilig. Der brauchte natürlich ein bisschen Farbe und ein bisschen Schnee... und zum Schluß noch den Buchautoren persönlich: Mr. Frosty Snow (von Birgit aus Fimo gemacht). Oder in den Worten des Liedes: "In the meadow, we can build a snowman...":

"Winter Wonderland" - written by Frosty Snow. She's got quite a sense of humour, this Robin. *smile* But this set too was also begging for a dose of Birgit-touch because let's be honest, just gluing in a readymade white papertree would have been much too boring. This needed for sure a bit of paint and some snow... and in the end also the book's author in person: Mr. Frosty Snow (made from polymer clay by Birgit). Or in the words of the song: "In the meadow, we can build a snowman...":

Uns ist erst auf den Fotos aufgefallen, dass einer der Äste des Papierbaumes abgeknickt war - nun sieht es so aus, als würde der Baum den winzigen Schneemann streicheln. *schmunzel* Und hier noch mal die beiden fertigen "Secret Books" zusammen:

We only noticed when looking at the photos that one of the tree's branches kinked - now it looks as if the tree would cuddle the tiny snowman. *smile* And here are once more the two finished "Secret Books" together:

Für die anderen beiden Sets hat Birgit auch schon Ideen - und wir können Euch jetzt schon verraten, dass auch diese Bücher nicht so werden, wie es die Bastelanleitung vorsieht. *grins* Aber es gab noch ein weiteres Geschenk in Betsys Überraschungspaket - und zwar den größten Schatz von allen: Unser eigenes Exemplar von Betsys legendärer Weihnachtskarte! *freu*

Birgit has already ideas what to do with the other two sets - and we can already tell you that these books too will not turn out as the instructions suggest. *grin* But there was one more gift waiting in Betsy's surprise package - and this was the greatest treasure of all: Our own print of Betsy's legendary Christmas card! *beams-with-joy*

Wie immer sind wir begeistert von Betsys Talent, ihrer Malkunst und den unfassbar schönen Details.

As always we are in awe with Betsy's talent, the artistry of her painting skills and the incredibly beautiful details.

Dearest Betsy, once more from this place: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your wonderful, wonderful gifts which we will cherish and treasure. But most of all we are thankful for the gift of friendship you included with every single piece and for so kindly (and generously) thinking of us!

Mit der 2021er Version haben wir inzwischen eine stattliche Sammlung zusammen - und Birgit hat schon eine genaue Vorstellung, die irgendwann für einen bestimmten Zweck zu nutzen. Aber das liegt noch in der Zukunft - in der Gegenwart haben wir kürzlich ein Überraschungspäckchen von Nina bekommen mit einem sehr frühen Ostergruß:

Together with the version from 2021 we own quite an impressive collection by now - and Birgit has a good vision how to use them sometime for a certain purpose. But this is still in the future - now in present we've recently received a surprise package from Nina with an early Easter greeting:

Aber da war noch etwas Schönes in dem Päckchen - ein neues Exemplar des Riverside-Kalenders! Wie schön, da können uns auch in 2022 die Riversider begleiten. Und da wir ja eh noch den März begrüßen müssen, tun wir das dieses Mal mit Ninas Kalender:

But there was still something lovely in the package - a new edition of the Riverside calendar! Great, now the Riversiders will be at our side also in 2022. Und because we still need to greet March we're doing it this time using Nina's calendar:

Einen Spruch haben wir dieses Mal nicht - übrigens dieses Jahr auch keinen Sprüchekalender... Birgit war nicht danach.  Hallo,

wir haben zwar schon ein paar Januartage hinter uns, aber da es unser erster Post in 2022 ist, möchten wir nicht versäumen, Euch allen noch einmal ein schönes neues Jahr zu wünschen, vor allem aber Gesundheit!

... although we have already made it through quite some days of January this is our first post in 2022 that's why we don't want to miss the opportunity to wish you once more all the best for the New Year, above all health!

Und wie Ihr sehen könnt, grüßen Rosey und ich aus Strawberry Cottage. Bei uns ist es nun mal Tradition, das mit dem Beginn des neuen Jahres Christmas Cottage und alle anderen Weihnachtssachen in ihren Aufbewahrungsboxen verschwinden und sich erst im November wieder zeigen. Für uns und ganz besonders für Birgit ist es ein seltsames Gefühl, das nun ein ganzes Jahr vor uns liegt ohne die stille Blogleserin an unserer Seite. Birgit tut sich noch sehr schwer und von ihrer Kreativität ist auch immer noch nichts zu sehen. So gesehen ganz gut, dass unser erster Post eines Jahres traditionell unserem Dankeschön an alle Blogfreunde gehört, die an Weihnachten an uns gedacht und uns wieder überreich beschenkt haben. Und weil auch das BiWuBär-Tradition ist, tun wir das in alphabetischer Reihenfolge und beginnen daher mit den Geschenken von Alex. Lauter schöne Kleinigkeiten und als besonderes Extra ein bäriges Service von Nalladris... Darüber hat Birgit sich sehr gefreut, weil sie bereits so eines hat und sofort wusste, was sie mit dem zweiten anfangen wird.

As you can see Rosey and I are greeting from Strawberry Cottage. Here at our place it's a tradition that with the start of the new year Christmas Cottage and all other Christmas items are disappearing in their storage boxes without showing up anymore until November. For us and especially for Birgit it's a very strange thought having to face a whole year lying ahead of us without having the silent blogreader at our side anymore. Birgit is still suffering very much and her creativity did not return yet. Regarding this it's a good thing that our first post in a new year is traditionally dedicated to giving our thanks to all blogfriends who thought of us at Christmas and who spoiled us once more. And because this is also a BiWuBeary tradition we're doing this in an alphabetical order meaning wer're starting with the gifts coming from Alex. Plenty of lovely pieces and as an extra special a beary tea set by Nalladris... Birgit was very happy about this as she already owns one and knew at once what to do with the second set.

Als Nächste ist Drora an der Reihe und Ihr werdet auf den ersten Blick erkennen, dass unsere liebe Freundin uns mit einem ihrer Zen-Dioramen verwöhnt hat. Wir müssen echt schmunzeln darüber, dass die kleine Buddha-Figur von Deutschland nach Israel und wieder zurück nach Deutschland gereist ist. Aber vor allem hat uns das Buch der Psalme auf Hebräisch gerührt, denn das war ursprünglich als Geschenk für die stille Blogleserin vorgesehen.

Next in line are the gifts from Drora and you will see at first sight that our dear friend spoiled us with one of her Zen-vignettes. It makes us smile to imagine that the little Buddha figurine traveled from Germany to Israel back to Germany. Auch Fabiola hat wie immer sehr lieb an uns gedacht - und das, obwohl auch für sie 2021 ein ganz besonders trauriges Jahr gewesen ist. Um so mehr haben uns ihre Geschenke berührt.

Und wenn wir schon vom Weihnachtshaus sprechen - das wird auch die Heimat des von Ilona für Birgit gestickten Kissens, das Ihr auf dem nächsten Bild sehen könnt. Und auch die anderen Miniaturen von Ilona sind nicht nur unfassbar schön - Birgit weiß schon genau, wo die mal ihren Platz finden werden. Rosey sagt übrigens, das wüsste sie auch - zumindest, was das Schmetterlingshotel angeht. Und ist der Zyklopenkopf nicht einfach der Hammer???

And while we're already talking about the Christmas House - this will also become the home of the cushion Ilona stitched for Birgit and which you can see at the next picture. And the other miniatures from Ilona's hands are not only incredibly awesome - Birgit already knows their future dedication. Btw Rosey says she would know that too - at least as far as the butterfly hotel is concerned. And isn't the cyclops head a true burner???

Ein Hammer waren auch die Geschenke von Pilar... sowohl was Qualität und Quantität angeht. Wir haben oberleckeres Mandelnougat und Unmengen an Bastelmaterial bekommen...

And a true burner were also the gifts we received from Pilar... both in quality and quantity as well. We received very yummy almond nougat and loads of craft materials...

... darunter auch eine Packung Niederegger-Marzipan en miniature, die uns ganz besonders gerührt hat, weil wir irgendwie einen Verdacht haben, woher Ricardo die Vorlage dafür haben könnte... *schmunzel* Aber wir haben noch längst nicht alles gezeigt, da war noch  mehr... selbst in dem Amazon-Paket waren noch Überraschungen versteckt.

... including a box of Niederegger marzipan en miniature which touched us very much as we have a very good idea where Ricardo might have got the pattern from... *smile* But we haven't shown all to you yet, there was much more still... even the Amazon box contained more surprises.

Ein ganz besonderes Geschenk haben wir von unserer Freundin Rosanna bekommen - Ro sagt, mit diesem "Ofen" könne man mit Hilfe von nur zwei Teelichtern Fimo "backen". Bisher hat Birgit das noch nicht ausprobieren können, aber wir sind schon sehr gespannt.

A very special gift was given to us from our friend Rosanna - Ro says with this "oven" and the help of two tealights it would be possible to "bake" polymer clay. So far Birgit had no opportunity to try this but we're already excited about using it.

And on top there were also plenty of stunning and useful pieces - and as a true burner teenytiny metal buttons coming along in the most beautiful shape of all. I could give you some hints which would come along in the range of "sweet, red, juicy and aromatic"... but you could also just have a look at the next picture. *smile*

Wir sind wirklich überreich beschenkt worden und es war an diesem ganz besonderen Weihnachtsfest ein großer Trost für uns, dass wir so viele Geschenke von so vielen lieben Menschen öffnen durften.
