und - seid Ihr überrascht? Nicht nur, dass sich hier endlich mal wieder was auf "BiWuBären on the Blog" tut... Ihr habt es heute auch mit einer außergewöhnlichen Gastgeberin zu tun. Eigentlich hat man als Oberhexe vor und an Halloween ja Zeit für gar nichts... aber für Euch nehme ich mir heute einfach mal die Zeit. Ihr habt meine Erlaubnis, Euch geehrt zu fühlen... *breitgrins*
... say... are you surprised now? Not only that there's something happening again here at "BiWuBären on the Blog"... you are dealing with a very special host today. Actually before and at Halloween a Major Witch has no time at all... but for you I'm sparing some time today. You have my permission to feel honored now... *broadgrin*
Allerdings... wenn ich vorher gewußt hätte, was ich hier heute zeigen soll, hätte ich es mir vielleicht noch einmal anders überlegt. *lach* Hauptsächlich geht es nämlich um Birgits Fortschritte am Verkaufskarren, der für den Ihr-wisst-schon-was-Markt bestimmt ist. Und auch für alles andere braucht es keinen Zaubertrank oder Zauberstab... was für mich etwas bedauerlich ist, weil ich nicht nur eine Hexe bin, sondern auch eine Hexe, die Hexereibedarf verkauft, weil sie viele magische Wesen satt bekommen muss. Doch selbst unsereiner muss zugeben, dass dieses gewisse Fest am Jahresende, dessen Name nicht genannt werden darf, durchaus seine ganz eigene Magie hat. Und auch für andere Arten von Magie ist (leider *seufz*) kein Zubehör nötig... da entsteht die Magie ganz von allein für den, der sie erkennen kann. Oder in anderen Worten: Herzlich Willkommen zu Folge 93931 von "Und schon wieder jede Menge Fotos von BiWuBärchen im Garten". *grins* Und keine Angst - es sind diesmal deutlich weniger als sonst. Man merkt den Herbst... *kicher*
Anyhow... if I had known before what I am supposed to show here today I might have change my mind. *LOL* Most of all this is about Birgit's progress with the sales cart being dedicated for the You-know-what-Market. And everything else doesn't need any potions or wands neither... somehow a pity for me because I'm not only a witch but a witch who sells witchy goods because she needs to feed a lot of magical beings. But even I must admit that this certain holiday at the end of the year which shall not be named aloud has for sure its own kind of magic. And there are other kinds of magic which (sadly *sigh*) don't need any magical accessories neither... because the magic happens all on its own for those who are able to recognize it. Or in other words: A heartfelt welcome to volume 93931 of "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden". *grin* And no need to get scared - this time there are clearly less than usual. You can notice it's autumn... *giggle*
Aber nicht nur Blumen sind in der Lage, ihre ganz eigene Magie zu entfalten. Es gibt auch eine Magie, die aus Großzügigkeit und Freundschaft entsteht. Birgit, Rosey und Fluby durften das selbst erfahren mit Geschenken von lieben Blogfreunden. Unsere liebe Freundin Ilona hat es sich natürlich nicht nehmen lassen, Birgit einen Geburtstagsgruß zu schicken.
But not only flowers are able to unfold their very own magic. There's also some kind of magic which grows out of generosity and friendship. Birgit, Rosey and Fluby were allowed to experience this by receiving gifts from dear blogfriends. Of course our dear friend Ilona sent Birgit a birthday greeting.

Diese WASGIJ-Puzzle machen echt Spaß denn - wie sie schon auf der Box schreiben - man puzzelt nicht, was man sieht, sondern was als Nächstes passieren wird. Falls irgendwer gerne die "Lösung" dieses speziellen Puzzles raten möchte, zeigen wir ein Foto des fertigen Teils am Ende dieses Posts. Und auch Megan hat uns mit einem ganz besonderen Gruß überrascht. Darin enthalten waren viele Geschenkpäckchen und als Birgit gesehen hat, dass die nummeriert sind und es einen Zettel mit Ratehinweisen gab, wurde die Idee geboren, diese Päckchen wie eine Art Adventskalender zu nutzen. Auf diese Weise hatte Birgit eine kleine Freude jeden Tag während der für sie schweren Zeit.
These WASGIJ-puzzles are fun because - as they're writing on the box - you don't puzzle what you see but what will happen next. If anybody would like to guess what might be the "solution" of this jigsaw we're including a photo of the finished piece at the end of this post. And Megan too surprised us with a very special greeting. Inside of the box were many gift packages and when Birgit discovered that they were numbered and that there was a paper with guessing hints she came up with the idea to use it as some kind of Advent calendar. This way Birgit had a little joy every day during a time which was very hard for her.

Leider dürfen wir nicht zeigen, was in den Päckchen ist, denn Megan wollte noch jemand anderen überraschen... wir können aber voller Überzeugung sagen: Jedes Päckchen war der Hammer - und am Allerbesten die selbstgemachten Sachen. Und auch Huibrecht wollte Birgit in dieser besonderen Zeit eine Freude machen - und das ist ihm mehr als gelungen.
Sadly we are not allowed to show what's inside of the packages because Megan wanted to surprise somebody else too but we can say in all honesty: Every single package was a burner - and best of all were the items made by Megan. And Huibrecht too wanted to bring some happiness to Birgit in this special time - and he made a very good job doing so.

So viele wunderbare und nützliche Sachen - wir Hexentürmer haben uns übrigens gleich die Knochen gesichert, Drachen sind ganz wild auf so was *schmunzel*. Und der Inhalt der kleinen Tüte, die Fluby und Rosey halten... nun, den werdet Ihr gleich wieder sehen, wenn wir zum Ihr-wisst-schon-was-Karren-Projekt kommen. Aber vorher wollen wir Euch noch unbedingt zeigen, was aus zwei weiteren Bastelsets geworden ist, die unsere liebe Freundin Betsy uns vor einiger Zeit geschenkt hat. Vielleicht erinnert Ihr Euch - Betsy hat uns mittlerweile 4 Bastelsets für "Secret Books" von Robin Betterley geschenkt. Zwei davon konnten wir bereits zeigen... und die hatten ja eine gute Portion Birgit-Touch abbekommen. Bei "A Visit from St. Nick" sollte nur ein 2-dimensionaler Papierweihnachtsbaum vor einen Zimmerhintergrund geklebt werden und bei "Winter Wonderland" ein ungefärbter weißer Papierbaum vor einen Papierhintergrund. Das war Birgit aber zu langweilig - und sie fand außerdem, dass ein wenig mehr Bezug zum Titel auch ganz nett wäre. Und so waren dann ja diese Beiden entstanden:
So many gorgeous and useful things - we from the Witch Towers' have put our paws right away on the bones, see, dragons go wild for them *smile* And the content of the tiny bag which Fluby and Rosey are holding... well, you are going to see it soon when we're coming to the You-know-what-cart-project. But before we do so we still need to show what happened to the two kits which were given to us by our dear friend Betsy some time ago. (Dearest Betsy, once more: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!) Perhaps you do remember - by now Betsy spoiled us with 4 kits for "Secret Books" by Robin Betterley. Two of them we could already show to you ... and both of them received a good portion of Birgit touch. According to the instructions "A Visit from St. Nick" should be decorated by glueing a 2-dimensional paper Christmas tree in front of a room paper. And for "Winter Wonderland" it was planned to glue a plain white paper tree in front of a paper background. For Birgit this was too boring - and she also thought that it would be nice to stick to the title. And that's how these two were created:

Inzwischen hat Birgit auch die anderen beiden "Secret Books" fertig - und den Inhalt wieder komplett geändert. Auf dem Bild könnt Ihr sehen, wie die eigentlich gedacht waren:

Birgit hat den Titel wieder wörtlich genommen - ein Konzept, das bei dem letzten Buch aber nicht mehr funktionierte. "The Paper Snowflakes" erwies sich als schwierig... und es so zu bauen wie vorgesehen, war für Birgit keine Option. Zu langweilig... besonders die Farben. Und so hat Birgit für das Innere des 4. Buches auf Freestyle gesetzt und geschaut, was sie dafür verwenden konnte. So kam dann die Tapete für "The Gingerbread House" noch zum Einsatz... und ein paar Holzbausätze von Volker Arnold aus Birgits Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten. Ach ja, und wenigstens eine der Papierschneeflocken hat ein 2. Leben als Tischdecke bekommen... *flööt*
Once more Birgit took the title literally - a concept which did not work anymore for the last book. "The Paper Snowflakes" turned out to be difficult... but building it as the instructions suggested was no option for Birgit. Too boring... especially the colors. So Birgit headed for freestyle when decorating the interior of the 4th book and used what she had. This way the wallpaper for "The Gingerbread House" was used in this project... and a few wooden kits by Volker Arnold found in Birgit's Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes. Oh, and at least one of the paper snowflakes was granted a second life as a table cloth... *tweet*

Die werden natürlich einen Ehrenplatz im Weihnachtshaus bekommen. Und wo wir gerade von Ehrenplätzen sprechen... kommen wir endlich zum Fortschritt am Weihnachtskarren. Oopsie... Igor weist mich gerade darauf hin, dass mir jetzt 2 x das "W"-Wort rausgerutscht ist... Okay, Beschwerden gerne an mich bärsönlich... wenn Ihr Euch traut... und Euch vorstellen könnt, den Rest Eures Lebens als Frosch zu verbringen... *höhö*
These will receive of course a place of honor in the Christmas House. And while speaking of places of honors... now we're finally getting to the progress with the Christmas cart. Oopsie... Igor was just pointing out that I've accidentally used the "C"-word two times now... Okay, you may complain directly to me... if you dare... and if you're able to imagine spending the rest of your lives as a frog... *teehee*
T'schuldigung, Hexenhumor... das war natürlich nur Spaß... aber ich nenne das Ding jetzt einfach "Weihnachtskarren" und damit basta! Und das Ding hat ganz schön Fortschritte gemacht - vor allem, nachdem Birgit sich entschieden hatte, wie die Bemalung aussehen sollte. Schnell war klar, dass der Wagen zum Rest des Weihnachtsmarktes passen sollte; also dunkelbraun wie alle anderen Buden und Karren. Aber Birgit wollte für dieses besondere Projekt noch ein bisschen besonderen Touch - und weil das ein Verkaufskarren für Lebkuchen und andere Süßigkeiten werden soll, kam ihr die Idee für ein "Peppermint Candy"-Thema. Aber seht selbst:
Sorry, witchy humour... this was of course only a joke... but from now on I'm just calling this thing "Christmas cart" and that's it, basta! And this thing made quite some progress - even more after Birgit had decided how it should be painted. It was soon clear that the cart should match with the rest of the Christmas Market; in other words dark brown like the other booths and carts. But for this very special project Birgit wanted to have some special touch - and because this is supposed to become a sales cart for gingerbread and other sweet treats she came up with the idea for a "Peppermint Candy" theme. But see for yourselves:
Zu Birgits Überraschung stellte sich dann heraus, dass die Rückseite offen war:
To Birgit's surprise it turned out that the backside was open:
Nach der ersten Verblüffung kam aber die Freude - genug Platz, um ein Batteriefach mit "normalen" Batterien unterzubringen.
But a short moment of bewilderment changed into happiness - that's enough space to store a battery box with "normal" batteries.
Die Frage der Beleuchtung war damit schon gelöst, aber nun taten sich neue Probleme auf.
With this the problem of bringing light into the scene was solved but then new problems appeared.
Mal ehrlich... viel Platz für Waren bietet dieser Karren nicht. Und für das, was Birgit vor hatte, war eindeutig zu wenig Platz vorhanden - aber das muss ich kurz erklären. Ihr erinnert Euch vielleicht, dass Birgit ursprünglich vorhatte, eine Zwillingsbude von "Toyland" zu bauen, bevor ihr die Idee kam, lieber den Karren zu verwenden. Nun hat "Toyland" aber den schönen Zug auf dem Vordach:
Honestly speaking... this cart doesn't offer much space for goods. And for all of the things Birgit had in mind it was for sure too little space - but I need to explain this first. You may remember that Birgit had originally planned to build a twin booth of "Toyland" until she had the idea she should better use this cart. But "Toyland" has this very lovely train on its canopy:
Es war immer geplant, dass die Zwillingsbude auch so einen Zug bekommen soll, allerdings in einer Lebkuchenversion. Die war schon lange fertig und sieht so aus:
And it was always planned that the twin booth should also have such a train but only in a gingerbread version. And this was already made a long time ago and looks like this:
Ihr ahnt bestimmt schon, worin das Problem besteht - wenn man dieses Zug-Display auf den Karren stellt, hat man noch weniger Platz als vorher... *seufz* Aber Birgit hatte eine Idee... und die sah so aus:
You may already guess where the rub is - if you would place this train display at the cart you would have even less space than before... *sigh* But Birgit had an idea... and it looked like this:
Sieht aus wie ein zusätzliches Brett... und genau so soll es auch aussehen. Da es sich aber nicht um Holz handelt sondern um Schaumklebeband mit Papier auf beiden Seiten...
Looks like an additional strip of wood... and that's exactly how it's supposed to look like. But as it isn't real wood but instead sticking foam tape with paper being added to both sides...

Fehlte nur noch ein weiterer Lebkuchenzug in Einzelteilen und ein wenig "Zuckerguss" et voilá:

Birgit hat ihren Zug untergebracht und nichts von der Verkaufsfläche verloren. Nun konnte sie sich dem Dach widmen:
Birgit managed to install her train without loosing any sales space. Now she could concentrate on the roof:

Wie nicht anders zu erwarten, forderte die Lichterkette um den Stützbalken ihren Tribut: Riesenlücken!!!
It was no surprise at all that the light chain around the support beam was asking for its tribute: Giant gaps!!!
Ich darf Birgit zitieren: "AAAAAHHHHHRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!" *grins* Aber nach vier, fünf Flüchen kam Birgit die rettende Idee und sie fing an, in ihren Irgendwann-für-Irgendwas-Kisten nach ganz speziellen Pfeifenreinigern zu suchen, die sie vor einiger Zeit gekauft hatte. Und weil sie sie gefunden hat, können wir Euch zeigen, dass die so aussehen:
I may quote Birgit: "AAAAAHHHHHRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!" *grin* But after four, five curses Birgit came up with a solution and started to rifle her Sometime-for-Somewhat-boxes for certain pipe cleaners she had bought some time ago. And because she did find what she was searching for we are able to show you that they look like this:
Die waren perfekt, um die Lücken zu stopfen - als Dämmung gegen den Winterwind sozusagen. *kicher* Oder gegen Schneefall... denn glaubt es oder nicht... als Nächstes fing es an, auf's Dach zu schneien! *zwinker* Und nun kam auch endlich das ganz besondere Geschenk von Huibrecht zum Einsatz: Eiszapfen aus echtem Glas! Wie toll ist das denn??? Die waren in jeder Hinsicht perfekt... aber seht selbst:
These were perfect for filling the gaps - as some kind of insulation against the winter winds. *giggle* Or against snowfall... because believe it or not... the next thing happening was snow falling down on the roof! *wink* And now it was finally time for the very special gift from Huibrecht: Icicles made of real glass! How great is that??? These were perfect in every way... but see yourselves:
Magisch - besonders mit Licht! Und damit ist der Weihnachtskarren fertig und bereit für hoffentlich möglichst viel leckere Waren.
Magical - especially with the lights on! And with this the Christmas Cart is finished and ready to be filled with hopefully many yummy goods.
Schauen wir mal, was Birgit so alles unterbringen kann - im nächsten Post. Denn jetzt wird es höchste Zeit, sich nicht mehr um Feste am Jahresende zu kümmern, sondern um das Fest des heutigen Tages: Halloween!!! Hurra... für uns magische Bärchen sowieso der wichtigere Feiertag. Aber das wird Euch bestimmt nicht überraschen. *lach* Und es wird wirklich Zeit, denn hier kommen schon Fluby und Rosey!

Magica de Spell: Danke, ich habe mir echt Mühe gegeben... auch in Sachen Länge. *grinst* Aber es war schon eine Herausforderung, dass ausgerechnet ich mich mit jeder Menge Weihnachtsmagie beschäftigen musste... und das an Halloween.
Rosey: Ach, ich glaube, welche Art Magie hat, ist doch letztendlich egal... Hauptsache man ist in der Lage, Magie zu erkennen, wenn sie einem begegnet.
Flutterby: Also, ich bin zum Beispiel wild entschlossen, die Magie in ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen von Ritter Kuniberts legendärem Apfelkuchen "Schneewittchens Tod" zu entdecken... können wir jetzt endlich los zur Halloweenparty?
Magica de Spell: Gerne. Ich habe übrigens ein Gerücht aus der Hexenküche gehört, dass Kunibert einen Extra-Apfelkuchen für gewisse nichtmagische Besucher gebacken hat.
Flutterby: Das klingt super - hoffentlich ist an dem Gerücht auch was dran.
Rosey: Das hoffe ich auch... denn Magicus hat mir erzählt, dass Borthud letztes Jahr echt sauer war, weil Du den ganzen Apfelkuchen alleine gegessen hast und er nichts abbekommen hat.
Magica de Spell: *nickt* Stimmt... er hat mir heute Morgen noch erzählt, dass er vor hat, jeden in einen Kürbis zu verwandeln, der ihm sein Stück Apfelkuchen wegisst... *grinstbreit*
Flutterby: Äh... vielleicht versuche ich dieses Jahr mal etwas Neues und probiere die Spinnencupcakes...
Magica de Spell: *lacht* Keine Sorge, Fluby... erstens wollen wir Halloween feiern und Spaß haben... und zweitens... sollte Dich irgendjemand in einen Kürbis verwandeln, verwandle ich Dich wieder zurück.
Flutterby: Das ist sehr beruhigend... und eine echt gute Versicherung. Denn so viel ist mal klar... das versprichst Du nur, damit ich den nächsten Post wieder selber mache, oder? *grinst breit*
Magica de Spell: *grinst noch breiter* Darauf kannst Du wetten, mein Freund!
Rosey: Na, dann mal los... obwohl... zwei Dinge müssen wir vorher noch erledigen. Wir schulden allen, die es in diesem Post bis hierher geschafft haben, ja noch die Auflösung des Puzzles.

Magica de Spell: Thanks, I really tried to do my best... also when it comes to length. *gins* But it was somehow a challenge that I of all was the one to deal with loads of Christmas magic... and all of this at Halloween.
Rosey: Well, I think it doesn't matter in which sort magic appears... as long as one is able to recognize it when it appears.
Flutterby: See, I for example am totally determined to discover the magic in one, two, three, four pieces of Knight Kunibert's legendary apple pie called "Snowwhite's Death"... so can we finally leave for the Halloween party?
Magica de Spell: You're welcome. Btw I've heard rumours from the witchy kitchen that Kunibert baked an extra apple pie for certain non-magical visitors.
Flutterby: Sounds great - paws crossed that these rumours are true.
Rosey: I hope so too... because Magicus told me that Borthud was very grumpy last year because you ate the whole apple pie on your own and he did not get one single bite.
Magica de Spell: *nods* That's true... he told me this very morning that he plans to conjure anybody into a pumpkin who might eat his piece of apple pie... *grins broadly*
Flutterby: Eh... perhaps I'd better try something new this year and should test the spider cupcakes...
Magica de Spell: *lacht* Don't worry, Fluby... first of all it's Halloween and we want to have fun... and next... should anybody ever conjure you into a pumpkin I promise to change you back.
Flutterby: This sounds very good and calming... and is quite a good insurance. Because this much is clear... you're only promising this to make sure that I am going to do the next post myself, aren't you? *grins broadly"
Magica de Spell: *grins even broader* You can bet on that, my friend!
Rosey: Okay, then let's go... however... we still need to care about two things first. We still owe to all of those who made it through this post until here to give them the solution of the jigsaw.
