Hallo,
*grins* Achtung - unkommentierte Bilderflut!!! *hihi*
... isn't it incredible - April is in fact almost gone again... as well as the most wonderful feels-already-like-real-summer-weather we've been spoiled with during the last days. In the meantime April is showing the capricious face its famous for with everything being grey and rainy - which leads to a bad mood by Birgit with the lawn growing like crazy but being much too wet to be mowed. Yes, my Birgit was finally able to put the snow shovel aside exchanging it at once with the lawn mower and the garden tools. Meanwhile Rosey and I checked bearsonally that nature in our garden is exploding. Oh my... spring... according to us it's the most beautiful season of all. The green is never greener... and after a long winter each blossom is a little miracle. And I have no idea how I could announce this in a gentle and soft way to you so I'm saying it right away: We can't help it - here's volume 93889 of our series "And once more many pictures of BiWuBearies in the garden". *grin* Caution - picture flood without comments!!! *teehee*

And although Birgit has plenty of work to do in the garden she still managed to make progress with some of her projects. The Christmas booth which shall become a display for Christmas miniatures offered in our Etsy shop has been covered completely with wood in the meantime and looks like this now:

Hooks were fixed on top which will help to present the Christmas ornaments.

Meanwhile Birgit has also finished to cover the second booth, we are going to show this to you after it was painted and received a layer of snow on the roof. Speaking about layer of snow... now it's for sure time to continue with the building of Bowler's house. Now that the living room and the illuminated in-between-floor are finished it was finally time to care about the snow ball which shall become Bowler's bedroom.

There were just some bits and bobs missing still because back then Ilona did not only give this snow ball to us, it already contained a red wooden floor and the awesome bed she made for Bowler - so the interior was already as good as complete. And there was another piece included which matches perfectly with the bauble's curves and was dedicated by Ilona to be a fireplace. But Bowler preferred to have storage space that's why Birgit attached drawers to this piece which looks like this now:

Well, at least this *coughcough* cupboard is an ooak. *teehee* Next on Birgit's to-do-list was the snowball's entrance - and this was the result:

Ehm... hmmm... let's find out how this works...

I can't stand it... buahaaaahaaaaa... *wipes-away-tears-of-laughter-from-his face* Bowler, I'm really sorry... but this thingie looks for sure like a giant toilet seat... *giggle* But luckily all made sense in the end after the "door" *teehee* was attached.

Brrrrr... inside of this I really need to carry my warm scarf. And because the snowball has no windows it was necessary to add some light. Birgit happened to find this piece in her stash and decided to turn it into a lamp.

No bad idea at all... because this is a paper pompom... which reminds somehow of a snowball.

Inside of it a battery run LED light was placed which is able to illuminate the snowball's interior quite well. Sadly it's not easy to catch this with the camera - but of course we've tried it anyway, have a look:

*grins*)
And here once more Bowler's lamp without the illumination on (taken with light through the door - don't ask how much Birgit was cursing while taking the picture... *grin*)

But to make sure Bowler will be able to get into his bedroom a last special piece was still needed. Luckily Birgit could find this needed something in her somewhen-for-somewhat-boxes and white paint was also quick to be at hand...

Genau, eine Leiter! Allerdings...
Sure, a ladder! Nevertheless... eh... let's be honest... I don't know about you... but... well... I've really wondered how this should work... I mean... Bowler and a ladder... let's remember he's a snowman... with no legs at his round down part... So I've asked him right away how he would get along with this ladder.

He just laughed and said this would be no problem for him because he would be able to hop. And he showed me right away how he's doing it.

Hey, this works really well - great... with this all problems are solved now and Birgit is finally able to put all of this together. I'm really curious how this will look like in the end... hopefully you are too... ;O)

Dear Fluby and Rosey and Birgit too, I must tell you what a pleasure it is to see you frolicking in the Gardens again! I Never tire of playing "Spot the BiWuBeary in the Blossoms"!!! You look as though you are having such a wonderful day! :) It is such a Joy to see Spring has arrived at your house.... even though I am a trifle envious because Spring is being so reluctant to come here! (But I know it will arrive after all...) And Also I am very glad to see that Birgit has continued with the Christmas Market Stall.... it looks like it is going to be a wonderfully useful and festive "photoshop" location! :) And as for Bowler's Remarkable Sleeping Quarters... I have never seen such a Unique "residence"! The new Door is brilliant.... and I LOVE the "paper lantern" light fixture!!! The inside of this part of Bowler's House looks so much bigger than I thought it would be! :) Now I am Really Really Really curious to see how it all comes together....! And I hope it will not be too long before you are back to report to us about how the May Calendars are looking too! :):):)
Besos.
Hallo Fluby! Ahhh, I see that you all have enjoyed the most beautiful spring weather too :D!? And one look at al those great pictures of your wonderful garden learns me that the blossoming period in your garden wasn't over that quick as here at our place. So, enjoy the blossoms to the fulliest, dear friends, before you know it, it's gone till next spring ;).
I think your Birgit has done a good job at the Christmas booth, cladding the mdf with wood is neccessary for giving it a lifelike look. But the snow bauble got some very good improvements and also very well though out for our sweet Bowler. I had a good laugh reading about the ladder: hopping is a good way to climb on ladder ;O!? But he will be so happy when he can live in his own home finally, well, we'll see how it all will end up!
Liebe Grüsse, Schepje (who is envious on Bowler's home ;O), Little Me und Ilona
PS I'm glad to read a blogpost of you all again, I miss the great stories of your Birgit and your adventures ;O!
what a magnificent explosion of colors that your garden!
Birgit has worked wonderfully for Bowler's house, the closet and lamp are ingenious:
hugs
So lovely to see your little teddies out in the spring sunshine.
Work on the snowball looks like fun. It's an interesting project.
And I love the Christmas stand, can't wait to see how it progresses. Here in South Africa we don't have much Christmas traditions, I really look forward to spending Christmas in Germany one day so that I can admire all the markets with hand made items.
Dear Flutterby, You and Rosey among the beautiful flowers is a very pleasing sight. I love the daffodils. We don't have them here. The garden is gorgeous with all the blooming flowers.
So, Mr. Bowler is going to have his own "Igloo" home. How very nice for him.
Birgit's creative imagination is amazing. I love the closet and the snow-ball lamp.
Hugs, Drora
Nina
Hello Flutterby,
How I wish I could shrink down and spend the day amongst the flowers with you and Rosey! What wonderful plants and such incredible colors.
The Christmas stand is lovely and I cannot wait to see those hooks filled with wonderful holiday ornaments.
Bowler has such a lovely bedroom. I love the drawers Birgit added, very useful for scarves! You were very cheeky commenting about the toilet seat door, but I must say it made me giggle. It is a very unique door and quite nice...when I get the toilet out of my mind. I just hope nobody tries to flush his bedroom! The light fixture is perfection and the ladder is a great solution.
Keep enjoying the lovely weather.
Big hug
Giac
I will never get bored of another series of our dear BiWuBearies in the garden. Flutterby and Rosie look so happy in Birgit´s beautiful garden that I just want to close my eyes to get transported to such marvellous place, so keep it going, we all enjoy it so much! I am happy to see that there are wonderful projects on sight, I am sure I will have a lot of fun following Birgit´s progress, I can´t wait! Bowler's bedroom looks so interesting :)
The garden is amazing with these colorful flowers and Fluby and Rose are very happy, they love flowers, I think.
The Christmas stand is beautiful and I'm curious to see it with ornaments.
Bowler's bedroom looks interesting and original.
