Freude per Post - Teil... äh... ist ja auch egal

Hallo,

 

vor einiger Zeit erhielten wir eine Nachricht von Jennifer, die uns mitteilte, dass zwei mal Post an uns unterwegs sei. Nun... Post von Jennifer, dieser in jeder Beziehung außergewöhnlichen Blogfreundin zu erhalten, ist ja sowieso schon immer ein Grund, total aus dem Häuschen zu sein. Aber gleich zwei mal... *strahl*

... some time ago we received a message from Jennifer who told us two mailings would be on their way to us. Well... receiving mail from Jennifer, this in any possible way outstanding blogfriend, is for sure a reason to be over the moon. But two times mail... *beams-with-joy*

 

Aber natürlich hatte es einen Grund, dass nun zwei Umschläge sich auf den Weg gemacht hatten - denn Jennifer hatte vergessen, eine Sache, die sie extra (!) für mich (!) gemacht hatte, mit einzupacken. Und während Birgit der Meinung war, das es ja nun wirklich nicht nötig gewesen wäre, das noch extra nachzuschicken (Große Güte - das hält doch keiner aus! Ich hab' das auch nicht immer einfach hier) war Jennifer aber ganz klar der Meinung, das ich diese Kleinigkeit unbedingt noch haben sollte (Jippiiiieeee! *Küsschen-rüberwerf-zu-Jen*) und hat das noch mal extra hinterher geschickt. Und so kam es zu einem kleinen Wettrennen zwischen den beiden Postsendungen... und gewonnen hat - der Nachzügler! Und siehe da - auch für Birgit war etwas dabei... nämlich eine von Jennifers wunderbaren Karten, die sie extra für meinen menschlichen Disney-Freak ausgesucht hat. *träller* Bellaaaaa notteeeeeee... 

But of course there was a reason why two envelopes were on their way to our home because Jennifer had forgotten to include an item she had made especially (!) for me (!). And while in Birgit's opinion it wouldn't have been necessary to ship this extra (OMG- I can't stand it! It's not always that easy around here) in Jennifer's opinion it was for sure mandatory to send this little treat extra (Jippiiiieee! *throwing-airkisses-to-Jen*). And so we were having a little combat race of those two envelopes... and the winner was - the second one with my extra! And what a surprise - even for Birgit there was somehting inluded... one of Jennifer's gorgeous cards, well-chosen with care for my human Disney-Freak. *sings* Bellaaaaa notteeeeeee...
             

         

Na, mit dieser Spaghettiszene war meine Birgit schon mal richtig glücklich... aber ich habe mich natürlich viel mehr für mein Geschenk interessiert. Und seht mal - ich habe ein eigenes Büchlein bekommen, das Jennifer extra für mich gemacht hat:

Hach, wie toll ist das denn? Und Jen hat geschrieben, dass ich darin doch meine Gedanken und was mir wichtig ist notieren könnte und Birgit fand auch, dass das eine schöne Idee ist und ich finde das eigentlich auch, also habe ich angefangen, darin einzukleben und einzutragen, was mir so durch den Kopf geht und was mir wichtig ist. Und da kann es natürlich nur Eines geben...
My, how great is that? And Jen has written I should write down my thoughts and what's important for me and Birgit agreed that this was a good idea and I think so too so I started to write down and glue in what's going through my mind and what's important for me. And of course that can only mean this...

          

               

... ERDBEEREN! Süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... all meine Bilder mit Erdbeeren werde ich da einkleben, dann habe ich etwas zum Anschauen, wenn ich mal alle Erdbeervorräte aufgefuttert habe. Ach, ist das nicht schön, ich könnte mir stundenlang diese Bilder anschauen... allerdings kriege ich jetzt schon wieder Erdbeerhunger und... oh...

 ... STRAWBERRIES! Sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries... all my pictures of strawberries I'm going to collect in it so I'm able to enjoy them whenever my strawberry supplies are low. Oh, isn't it beautiful, I could spend hours looking at these pictures... nevertheless I'm getting hungry for strawberries and... oh...
        

        

Flutterby: Hallo, Rosey!

Rosey: Hallo... sag' mal, Fluby - meinst Du nicht, dass es jetzt langsam mal Zeit wird, dass Du Dich von Deinem Erdbeerbuch losreißt? Du musst doch noch die anderen Sachen zeigen, die Jennifer geschickt hat. Also wirklich - nun aber los! Lass uns mit meinen Blumen anfangen!
Flutterby: Hi Rosey!
Rosey: Hi... say, Fluby - don't you think it's about time to tear yourself off from this strawberry book? You still have to show the other things Jennifer has sent us. Really - get on going! Let's start with my flowers!
       

           

Flutterby (grinst): Was soll das bitte heißen... "Deine Blumen"... die hat Jennifer doch wohl uns allen geschickt. Ich habe gegen einen schönen Rosenstrauß auch nichts einzuwenden.

Rosey: Ich verspreche Dir, dass ich gleich nachher einen Termin im November 2018 eintragen werde, an dem ich herzhaft darüber lachen werde... Lies es von meinen Lippen: Wenn es rot ist, kannst Du es meinetwegen haben... aber Pfoten weg von rosa!

Flutterby (lacht): Na, dann wollen wir mal schauen, ob wir dieses Prinzip auch auf die übrigen Geschenke von Jennifer anwenden können!
Flutterby (grinning): What do you mean... "Your flowers"... no doubt Jennifer sent these to all of us. I myself would never say no to a nice bouquet of roses.
Rosey: I promise to you I'll make an appointment in November 2018 when I will be laughing out loud about this... Read it from my lips: If it is red you can take it... but paws away from pink!
Flutterby (laughing): Okay, let's see if this principle also works for Jennifer's other gifts!

           

          

Rosey: Irgendwie ist das ja wie Weihnachten im März... all die schönen Sachen! Schau mal, ich habe auch so ein Büchlein bekommen! Und eine Bastelpackung für Miniaturmöbel. Ach, ich bin so glücklich... aber Deine Sachen sind auch schön. Nun hast Du noch ein Kuschelkissen mehr - und die Dosen sind ja auch klasse und... Fluby! Hörst Du mir eigentlich zu?

Flutterby: Hmmmm...?

Rosey: Halloooo... ich rede mit Dir!

Flutterby: Oh, entschuldige... aber ich bin gerade der Erdbeere meiner Träume begegnet! Sie ist perfekt... wunderschön... und hat genau die richtige Größe...

Rosey (stöhnt): Das halt ich nicht aus... da kriegt man ja Kopfschmerzen! (laut zu Fluby) Lass uns bloß weiter machen, ehe das noch schlimmer wird.

 Rosey: Somehow this is like Christmas in March... all these beautiful items! Have a look, I too received such a booklet. And a kit for making miniature furniture. Oh, I'm so happy... but your gifts are great, too. Now you have one more cushion to cuddle in - and the cannisters are fantastic and... Fluby! Are you listening at all?
Flutterby: Hmmmm...?
Rosey: Helloooooo... I'm talking to you!
Flutterby: Oh, I'm sorry... but I just met the strawberry of my dreams! She is perfect... beautiful... and has just the right size...
Rosey (groaning): I can't take it anymore... this is causing a bad headache! (aloud towards Fluby) Let's continue before this is getting worse.
        

        

Rosey: Hier, diese tollen Halloweenleckereien hat Jennifer uns auch noch eingepackt... na, ich glaube, darüber wird Gertie sich sehr freuen, wo sie doch irgendwann ihr eigenes Häuschen bekommen wird. FLUUUUUUUBY!!!
Rosey: Look, Jennifer also added these yummy Halloween treats... well, I bet Gertie will be over the moon with them now that she will get her own home soon. FLUUUUUUUBY!!!
            

            

Flutterby: Wie? Was? Ich war mit meinen Gedanken woanders... hast Du schon mal so eine schöne Erdbeere gesehen?

Rosey: Du liebe Güte!

Flutterby: Schon gut, schon gut... ich lege diese wunderschöne, rote, perfekt geformte Traumerdbeere beiseite... wenn ich das richtig sehe, fehlen noch die Sachen, die Jennifer für das zukünftige Weihnachtshaus eingepackt hat, oder?
Flutterby: What? How? My thoughts were wandering away... have you ever seen a strawberry as beautiful as this before?
Rosey: Great Scott!
Flutterby: Okay, okay... I just put this beautiful, red, perfectly shaped strawberry of my dreams aside... if I'm not mistaken there are still the things missing Jennifer has included for the future Christmas house, right?

          

           

Rosey: Genau! Schau mal - ist diese Weihnachtsmannglocke nicht niedlich? Die wird sich bestimmt später mal im Eingangsbereich des Weihnachtshauses gut machen.

Flutterby: Die Kekse sehen echt lecker aus... darf man eigentlich Tannenbaumkekse kurz vor Ostern essen? *kicher* Und die Schachtel ist auch klasse - ist doch lustig, wenn man von einer amerikanischen Blogfreundin eine deutsch beschriftete Schachtel geschenkt bekommt.

Rosey: Nun, wie ich Jennifer kenne, hat sie sich dabei was gedacht... überhaupt hat sie alles mit so viel Liebe und Bedacht ausgesucht, ehrlich, ich bin total glücklich, so reich beschenkt worden zu sein.

Flutterby: Und ich bin das glücklichste Flatterbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt!

Rosey (lacht): Na, dann kannst Du ja zusammen mit dem glücklichsten Blumenbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt auch noch die zweite Karte zeigen, die wir von Jennifer bekommen haben.
Rosey: Yes! Look - isn't this Christmas bell cute? This will look great someday at the entrance of the Christmas house.
Flutterby: The cookies look yummy indeed - is it right to eat Christmas tree cookies with Easter in sight? *giggle* And the box is great, too - it's funny to get a box with a German writing on from an American blogfriend.
Rosey: Well, knowing Jennifer she truly had her reasons... and without doubt she has chosen everything with love and care, honestly, I'm totally happy being spoiled that much.
Flutterby: And  I am the most happiest flutterybeary in the whole wide world!
Rosey (laughing): Well, in that case you can present the second card we received from Jennifer together with the most happiest flower beary in the whole wide world.

             

              

Flutterby: Jennifers Karten sind immer der Hammer. Und diese gefällt mir sogar noch besser... das ist nämlich mal eine Maus mit Geschmack.

Rosey: Ich werde es bestimmt bereuen, das ich gefragt habe, aber... warum hat die Maus Geschmack?

Flutterby (strahlt): Jeden Menge Erdbeerleckereien!

Rosey: Du bist einfach unglaublich!

Flutterby: Ehrlich??? Du findest mich unglaublich?

Rosey (lacht): Wirklich unglaublich...
Flutterby: Jennifer's cards are always a burner. And I like this one even better... this is for sure a mouse of big taste.
Rosey: I'm sure I will regret asking this but... why is it a mouse of big taste?
Flutterby (beams with joy): Loads of strawberry treats!
Rosey: You're incredible!
Flutterby: Really??? You're thinking I'm incredible?
Rosey (laughing): Sure... incredible...

 

Dear Jennifer, thank you so much for sending us all of this joy and happiness via mail - we've enjoyed every single bit of it and everything will be of great use. But above all thank you for the gift of friendship you've included - it's people like you that make blogland so special!

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 194)

Hallo,

 

und schon ist wieder Sonntag und Zeit für einen neuen Kaffeeklatsch! Und wir hatten es ja bereits angedeutet - natürlich wollten unsere zuletzt ausgewanderten BiWuBärchen Wilma und Fred wenigstens einmal ihren eigenen Auftritt in der Kaffeeklatschtasse haben. Und getreu dem guten alten Leitsatz "Ladies first!" macht Wilma heute den Anfang.

... and once more it's Sunday again and time for yet another "Kaffeeklatsch"! And we've already given you a little hint - of course our two BiWuBearies Wilma and Fred who recently left for a new home wanted to have their own showtime in the "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup. And following the good ol' motto "Ladies first!" Wilma is the one to start today.

           

           

Tja, BiWuBärchen und Kaffeebecher passen eben immer zusammen... *lach* Leider haben uns letzte Woche nicht nur Wilma und Fred verlassen, auch das wunderbare Frühlingswetter hat sich seit Freitag von uns verabschiedet. *seufz* Angesichts der schweren Stürme und der deutlich abgekühlten Temperaturen ist das momentan eher wieder Herbstwinter. Aber was soll's - wir können es ja nicht ändern. Wir haben das schöne Wetter wenigstens ausgiebig genutzt - und auch dieses Wetter hat ja durchaus sein Gutes. Man hat wieder mehr Zeit für Kreatives... und nicht zu vergessen ist bei so einem Wetter ein schöner Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch ganz besonders gemütlich. Und genau dabei wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß - bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und wie immer an dieser Stelle wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch eine schöne Woche... prall gefüllt mit lauter schönen Momenten! ;O)

Yes, BiWuBearies and coffee mugs always get along perfectly together... *LOL* Sadly last week Wilma and Fred were not the only ones who said goodbye to us, the lovely spring weather went away on Friday, too. *sigh* With heavy storms and low temperatures it feels more like autumn again at the moment. But no complaining - we can't help it at all. And we've been able to enjoy the lovely weather to the fullest - and even this kind of weather has its good sides. There's for sure more time for creativity... and not to forget a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" becomes extra cozy with weather like this. So for this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on, having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing to all of you a great week on top - may it be full of nice and lovely moments! ;O)

ist es nicht wunderbar - Freitag und das Wochenende ist in Sicht... Und da möchte ich Euch heute noch ganz schnell die neusten Mitglieder unserer BiWuBären-Familie vorstellen. Birgit hat die beiden im Auftrag für eine liebe Kundin genhäht, die gerne ein Bärchenpaar haben wollte. Nun ja - wie Ihr gleich sehen werdet, hat Birgit es geschafft, diese Vorgabe zu erfüllen... *lach* Ich darf Euch also nun bekannt machen mit Wilma und Fred!

... isn't it great - it's Friday and the weekend is in sight... I would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the newest members of our BiWuBeary family today. Birgit has sewn these two as a commission for a dear customer who wanted to have a beary couple. Well - as you are going to see now Birgit managed to fulfil this request... *LOL* I may now introduce you to Wilma and Fred!
               

            

Ratet doch mal, wer wer ist! *kicher* Leider hatten wir nicht allzu viel Zeit, weil die beiden sich sehr schnell auf den Weg in ihr neues Zuhause gemacht haben - aber selbstverständlich haben wir uns trotzdem genug Zeit für wenigstens einen gemütlichen Kaffeeklatsch auf der Terrasse von Strawberry Cottage genommen.

Just guess who is who! *giggle* Sadly we didn't have much time together because both had to hurry for their new home - but of course we still took our time for at least one cozy "Kaffeeklatsch" at the terrace of Strawberry Cottage.

            

               

Ja, bei dem schönen Frühlingswetter einfach ein Traum... die beiden haben das auch echt genossen. Und dann hatte Wilma noch einen kleinen Herzenswunsch - sie wollte gerne einmal meine Schaukel ausprobieren. Na, so einen Wunsch erfüllt ein Gentlebär wie ich ja wohl gern... und weil bei uns männlichen BiWuBären das Gentlebär-Sein quasi im Blut liegt, hat Fred seiner Liebsten dann ein bisschen Schwung gegeben.

Having lovely spring weather like this it's just perfect... and both of them truly enjoyed it. But then Wilma had a little heart wish left - she really wanted to use my swing. Well, a gentlebear like me doesn't hesitate to grant a wish like this... and because being a gentlebear runs in the blood of us male BiWuBearies Fred has taken care to get his dear one into the right swing. 

          

             

Na, es hat ihr gefallen, das könnt Ihr glauben... Aber wie immer kam dann die Zeit zum Abschied nehmen viel zu schnell...
Well, she really enjoyed it, no doubt about it... But as usual time for goodbye came way too fast...
         

           

Ein letztes Abschiedsfoto und dann sind sie auch schon in ihren Reisekarton gehüpft. Inzwischen sind sie auch schon wohlbehalten angekommen und werden sich garantiert wohl fühlen im neuen Zuhause. Tja, und ich verrate wohl kein Geheimnis, wenn ich Euch erzähle, dass die beiden vor ihrer Abreise auch noch einen ganz besonderen Fototermin hatten, bei dem eine gewisse Kaffeetasse eine gewisse Rolle gespielt hat... Ja, natürlich werden auch Wilma und Fred noch mal ihren Auftritt bei unserem Kaffeeklatsch haben - und wer bis dahin nicht warten und noch mehr von den beiden sehen möchte, der kann natürlich auch noch mal HIER auf unserem Nebenblog schauen, da gibt's noch weitere Bilder von unserem glücklichen Bärchenpärchen... ;O)
A last goodbye photo and then they hopped into their travel box. In the meantime they've arrived safe and sound and we're sure they will be fine in their new home. Well, and I won't tell you a secret by saying that before their departure they were also having a very special photo session with the starring role of a certain mug... Yes, of course Wilma and Fred will host their very own "Kaffeeklatsch" soon - and who doesn't want to wait until then and would like to see more of them should of course have a look HERE at our sideblog where we're showing some more pictures of our happy beary couple... ;O)

Früüüüüüüüühling

Hallo,

 

wie ich ja bereits Sonntag erzählt hatte, haben wir hier im Moment das herrlichste Frühlingswetter... wunderbar. Und natürlich zieht es nicht nur Euch Menschen an die schöne Frühlingssonne... auch für uns Bärchen gibt es im Moment kein Halten mehr. Und das schon mal vorweg - meinen Schal, den ich ja in den Sommerschlaf geschickt habe, habe ich überhaupt nicht vermisst. Ja, es war schon herrlich warm, als Rosey und ich nach der langen Winterpause mal im Garten nach dem Rechten geschaut haben. Oh, und da gab es so viel zu entdecken...

... as I've already told you last Sunday we're enjoying the most beautiful spring weather at the moment... fantastic. And of course not only you humans are attracted by the lovely spring sun... also for us bearies it is a must to go outside. And this in advance - I didn't miss my scarf which I've already sent to its summer sleep at all. Yes, it was already comfortably warm when Rosey and I had a look at the garden after that long winter time. Oh, there was so much waiting to be discovered...

         

       

Rosey hat es ganz besonders zu den Krokussen hingezogen - die sind aber auch schön...

Rosey was especially fascinated by the crocusses - but they're beautiful for sure...

         

         

... aber manchmal auch gar nicht so einfach zu erreichen... die reinste Dschungelexpedition hier... *lach*

... but sometimes it's not easy to get close to them... almost some sort of jungle expedition... *LOL*

            

           

Aaaaaahhhhhrrrrggggghhhhh!!! Ich bin von Zombiepflänzchen umzingelt... *hihi* Schon unglaublich, wie die Natur nun erwacht... und es hat manchmal auch Vorteile, klein zu sein (ja, ich muss mir das jetzt schön reden... selbst der Krokus ist größer als ich... *schluck*) - man sieht dann auch die kleinen Dinge viel besser - so wie diese Pflänzchen, die hier ordentlich austreiben.

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhrrrrggggghhhhhhh! Now the zombie plants are going to get me... *teehee* Simply incredible how fast nature is awakening... and sometimes it's even an advantage if you're small (yes, I have to brighten things up for me now... even that crocus is bigger than me... *gulp*) - because you're able to see the small details a bit better - as with these sprouts who are busy with getting to light.

      

        

Und wenn man klein genug ist und den richtigen Blick für Details hat, dann sieht man auch, wie schön ein einzelner Krokus ist. Und so haben wir auch diese Schönheit hier entdeckt:

And if you're small enough and are able to keep an eye on details you can easily see how beautiful even a single crocus is. And so we've also been able to discover this beauty:

         

         

Viele Menschen würden dieses Veilchen, das wild am Rand des Rasens wächst, wohl als Unkraut einstufen... und es kaum wahrnehmen. Aber wir BiWuBärchen sehen das anders - es ist eine wunderschöne kleine Pflanze, die es sogar schafft, so früh im Jahr so herrlich zu blühen. Ein echter Kämpfer, dieses Veilchen... a propos Kämpfer... da war doch noch was! Erinnert Ihr Euch an den Fleck Gänseblümchen mitten in unserem Rasen, der immer wieder geblüht hat, obwohl Birgit einmal wöchentlich mit dem Rasenmäher drüber musste? Jahaaaaaa... unsere tapferen Gänseblümchen sind auch wieder da! Und ebenfalls bereits schon herrlich am Blühen!

Many people would regard this violet growing wild at the edge of our lawn being a weed... and would hardly notice it. But for us BiWuBearies it is a beautiful small plant being able to be in full bloom that early in the  year. A true fighter, this violet... and speaking of fighters... there comes something to mind! Do you still remember the spot of daisies in our lawn who didn't give up to bloom although Birgit had to mow them down with her mower once a week? Yessssss... our brave daisies are back again! And they're also in fullest bloom already!

        

      

Rosey und ich haben uns über das Wiedersehen sehr gefreut... und mochten gar nicht mehr weggehen. Allerdings... ich finde, Birgit hätte uns mal einen Picknickkorb vorbei bringen können... *grins* Und zum Abschluß hätte ich da noch eine Frage: Hat mich die Frühlingssonne denn schon etwas gebräunt??? *lach*

We've been really glad to see them again, Rosey and I... and we hardly wanted to leave anymore. Nevertheless... in my opinion it would have been great if Birgit would have brought us a picnic basket... *grin* And at the end I would like to ask you a question: Did I already get a nice tan from the spring sun??? *LOL*

          

         

Ich hoffe, unser kleiner Gartenspaziergang hat Euch auch ein bisschen Spaß gemacht, Rosey und ich hatten jedenfalls jede Menge Spaß. Genießt das schöne Wetter, wenn Ihr könnt... und falls das Wetter bei Euch nicht so schön ist wie momentan bei uns... es gibt ja zum Glück noch andere Dinge als Gartenspaziergänge, die Spaß machen... Basteln zum Beispiel... oder dem liebsten Flatterbärchen eine schöne Honigmilch zuzubereiten... Ich glaube, ich werde Birgit mal davon überzeugen, dass sie sich diese kleine Freude mal gönnen könnte... Wie sagte doch Fontane so schön? "Glücklich machen ist das größte Glück."  ;O)

I hope you've had a little fun joining us on our garden tour, Rosey and I had indeed loads of fun. Enjoy the nice weather if you're able to... and if the weather at your place might not be that nice as ours... luckily there are many other things that can bring you loads of joy... crafting for example... or preparing a nice honey milk for your most dear flutterybeary... Well, I think I'll try to convince Birgit that she should treat herself with this little joy... in the true sense of German author Fontane who said making someone happy is the biggest joy... ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 193)

Hallo

 

und herzlich Willkommen zum 2. Kaffeeklatsch im März. Und was für ein Kaffeeklatsch das werden wird - wir haben nämlich im Moment das herrlichste Frühlingswetter. Ich habe sogar schon meinen Schal weggepackt... und ich hoffe sehr, ihn bis zum nächsten Winter nicht mehr zu brauchen.

... and a heartwarm welcome to the second "Kaffeeklatsch" of March. And what a "Kaffeeklatsch" this is going to be - around here we're enjoying the most beautiful spring weather. I've even taken off my scarf... and I truly hope I won't need it anymore until next winter season.

 

Heute bekommt dann auch endlich Brother Beorn seinen eigenen Kaffeeklatsch - hat er auch verdient. Das liegt übrigens allen BiWuBärchen, die ein neues Zuhause gefunden haben, immer sehr am Herzen - das sie wenigstens einmal im alten Zuhause ihren eigenen Kaffeeklatsch präsentieren dürfen.

Today finally Brother Beorn can host his own "Kaffeeklatsch" - and he really deserves it. Btw that's something all BiWuBearies who have found new homes have in common - the deep wish of presenting at least for one time a "Kaffeeklatsch" in their old home.

            

          

Ja, einen BiWuBären-Kaffeeklatsch gibt es nur hier bei uns auf dem Blog - aber einen richtigen Kaffeeklatsch kann man ja zum Glück immer und überall abhalten. Besonders gut geeignet hierfür ist aber trotz allem der Sonntag - und deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei einem schönen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche, die wünsche ich Euch natürlich wie immer auch! Und falls Ihr auch so viel Glück mit dem Wetter habt wie wir - genießt es! ;O)

Yes, a BiWuBear-"Kaffeeklatsch" can only be found at our blog - but luckily a real "Kaffeeklatsch" can be enjoyed always and anywhere. Nevertheless Sunday is still the best of days to celebrate it - and that's why I'm wishing you loads of fun later on enjoying a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" with one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. Jaffamöbel - Teil 2

Hallo,

 

unglaublich - nun ist es genau einen Monat her, dass ich Euch die Jaffakisten und Fensterrahmen gezeigt habe, aus denen Birgit mir etwas Schönes für mein Haus bauen wollte... Nun wird es aber höchste Zeit, dass ich Euch zeige, was daraus geworden ist. Wir hatten also die Apfelsinenkisten und Fensterrahmen aus Holz - dann kam noch etwas Farbe dazu und auch noch zwei schöne Papiere.

... incredible - now exactly one month passed by since I've last shown you the Jaffa crates and window frames Birgit wanted to use to build something nice for me... Now it's about highest time that I'm showing you how this turned out. So we were having the orange crates and wooden window frames - it also took some paint and also two nice papers.

            

           

Das gestreifte hat Birgit schon für mein Eckregal benutzt... das andere ist - vorsichtig ausgedrückt - mal was ganz Anderes. Tja, und dann hat Birgit gewerkelt... und am Ende war er dann fertig: Mein eigener Arbeitstisch!

Birgit already used the striped one for my corner shelf... the other one is - let's say - somehow unsual. Well, and then Birgit started to work... and in the end it was done: My very own work desk!

            

         

Ist er nicht wunderschön geworden? Ich bin so glücklich!!! Ganz viel Arbeitsfläche - das Teil erstreckt sich fast über die ganze Längsseite von meinem Häuschen - und auch noch jede Menge Ablagefläche... das kann man ja immer gebrauchen! Aber vor allen Dingen ist es ein absolutes Einzelstück - und es gehört mir! Wartet, ich zeige es Euch noch mal die Arbeitsfläche:

Isn't it simply beautiful? I am soooo happy!!! And so much work space - this piece goes over almost the whole length of my little home - and it also offers plenty of storage space... you can never have enough of that! But above all it's a true ooak - and it's mine! Wait, I'm going to show you the work space:

      

        

Die Rahmen hat Birgit mit einer langen "Glas"platte abgedeckt, so dass ich wirklich eine große, einheitliche Arbeitsfläche habe. Birgit mit ihrem bekanntermaßen winzigen Arbeitstisch sagt, sie beneide mich total darum. Ich glaube, für mich hat sie den Arbeitstisch gebaut, den sie selbst gern hätte (obwohl der bei Birgit wohl kaum rosa wäre... *hihi*). Natürlich wollte Flutterby sich meinen Arbeitstisch auch gleich mal anschauen - ehrlich gesagt, war ich schon ein bisschen stolz, als ich ihm das alles gezeigt habe.

Birgit covered the frames with a long "glass" sheet and now I'm having a very big work space in one piece. Birgit who is well known for having only a teeny tiny work desk herself said she would really envy me. I believe she has built for me the work space she would like to have herself (although for Birgit it neverever would be pink... *teehee*). And of course Flutterby wanted to have a look at my desktop - and honestly speaking I was kind of proud while showing it to him.

            

         

Selbst an der Seite ist noch ein Regal mit zusätzlichem Stauraum. Fluby fand das auch total praktisch.

Even on the side there's another shelf with additonal storage space. Fluby agreed that this comes in handy. 

         

 

Und auch die Arbeitsfläche hat ihm gefallen - wobei (Überraschung!) er sich ein anderes Design vom Papier gewünscht hätte... Ihr wisst schon - es ist rot, süß, saftig und aromatisch... *lach*

And he also liked the work space - although (surprise!) he would have chosen another design for the papers... Guess what - something red, sweet, juicy and aromatic... *LOL*

         

        

Allerdings meinte Fluby auch, dass so ein schöner Arbeitstisch unbedingt gebührend eingeweiht werden müsse...

 Nevertheless Fluby said a nice work space like this needed to be inaugurated...

        

         

Tja, da kann und will ich ihm nicht widersprechen. *schmunzel* Ein schöner Kaffeeklatsch geht eben immer und überall... aber ganz ehrlich... vom eigenen, geräumigen Designerschreibtisch schmeckt es glatt noch mal so gut!!! ;O)

Well, how could I ever disagree with him in this point. *smile* A nice "Kaffeeklatsch" is fine everywhere and anywhere... but really... enjoying it from your own, spacious designer work desk makes it even more yummy!!! ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 192) und Willkommen im März

Hallo,

 

ich wette, die meisten von Euch haben heute Brother Beorn in der Kaffeeklatschtasse erwartet, oder? Nun, mit mir müsst Ihr eben immer rechnen... *hihi* Weil der Kaffeeklatsch diesmal wieder mit einem Monatsanfang zusammen fällt, ist er heute mal wieder Chefsache - das erledigt das Blogbärchen bärsönlich beides in einem Rutsch.

... I guess most of you expected Brother Beorn looking out of the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug today, didn't you? Well, you always have to count on me... *teehee* Due to the fact that the "Kaffeeklatsch" once more comes together with the beginning of a new month it's once more the boss's business today - the blogbeary bearsonally will handle both tasks in one setting... eh... post.

 

Und bei der Gelegenheit habe ich gleich den Beweis angetreten, dass unsere diesjährige Kaffeeklatschtasse auch für mehrere BiWuBärchen super bequem und ausreichend groß ist. Und weil er am lautesten gemeckert hat, habe ich Brownie von Schlotter heute dazu gebeten. Und siehe da - es geht doch!

And I've also taken the opportunity to prove that this year's "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug is really comfy and big enough even for more than one BiWuBeary. And because he was complaining the most I've asked Brownie von Schlotter to join me today. And tadaaaa - it works!

         

           

Wir beide haben hier doch wirklich mehr als genug Platz...

... äh... naja... wenn Blicke töten könnten, wäre ich jetzt kein lebendiges Flatterbärchen mehr... *schluck* Also gut, ich geb's ja zu... bequem ist was anderes wenn wir beide hier drin sind... aber ich mache es nachher wieder gut, indem ich mit Brownie einen schönen, gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch genieße. Aber vorher ruft ja noch die Blogbärchenpflicht, denn es gilt ja auch noch, den neuen Monat zu begrüßen. Wie immer habe ich Birgit gestern tatkräftig bei der Aktualisierung ihrer Kalender geholfen - einmal Gentlebär, immer Gentlebär. Unser Sprüchekalender kommt uns diesmal mit einem stimmungsvollen Kranich-Bild und einem Zitat von Heinrich von Kleist: "Nur wer für den Augenblick lebt, lebt für die Zukunft."

... eh... okay... if looks could kill i would be one dead flutterybeary now... *gulp* Okay, I admit it... it's far from being comfy here with both of us inside... but I'm going to cheer Brownie up when enjoying a nice, cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" together with him later on. But before this there's still another blogbeary duty to fulfil because we still have to welcome the new month. As always I've been a great help to Birgit with updating her several calendars - once a gentlebear, always a gentlebear. Our wisdom calendar shows a nice picture with cranes this time and a saying by Heinrich von Kleist (as always I'm not going to quote in English but trying to say it in my own words) - he said only the ones who are living for the present are living for the future.

           

             

Ja, ich finde, da ist was dran. Ich zum Beispiel lebe im Augenblick für den Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen, den es nachher zum Kaffeeklatsch geben wird. Aber ich lebe auch für die Zukunft, wenn die Erdbeersaison kommt und es wieder Erdbeeren in Hülle und Fülle gibt. Ach ja... Erdbeeren... süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *hach*... äh... wo war ich? Nun, wie immer habe ich zum Monatsanfang noch andere schöne Gedanken von klugen Menschen für Euch heraus gesucht. So hat Friedrich Nietzsche einmal gesagt: "Alle Hindernisse und Schwierigkeiten sind Stufen, auf denen wir in die Höhe steigen." Und Goethe hat einmal festgestellt: "Auch aus Steinen, die einem in den Weg gelegt werden, kann man Schönes bauen."

Yes, I think that's true. Take me for example - I'm living now for the Sundayafternooncake we will have for "Kaffeeklatsch" later on. But I'm also living for the future when the strawberry season comes and there will be once more many, many strawberries for me. Oh my... strawberries... sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries... *sigh*... eh... where was I? Well, as always at the beginning of a new month I have some more nice sayings from smart human beings for you in store. For example Friedrich Nietzsche pointed out that all obstacles and difficulties are steps that help us to climb higher. And Goethe once said that even with the stones that are lying as obstacles in your way you can build something nice. 

 

Das finde ich sehr motivierend - genau wie den Rat von Konfuzius: "Suche die kleinen Dinge, die dem Leben mehr Freude geben." Na, und was könnte dem Leben wohl mehr Freude geben als ein schöner Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch? Und glücklicherweise ist ja heute Sonntag, deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei einem schönen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche und einen tollen neuen Monat wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch. Nun haben wir tatsächlich schon März... und damit Frühling... wie schön... der Winter wird mir nicht fehlen! ;O)

I think that's really motivating - as well as the advice of Konfuzius who said we should search for the little things that will give more happiness to our lives. And what could give more happiness to our lives than a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch"? And we're lucky that today is Sunday so I'm able to wish you loads of fun with a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" later on having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm also wishing to you a nice week and a great new month. Now it's already March again... which means spring... that's so great... I won't miss winter at all! ;O)
