Hallo,

 

heute darf ich Euch endlich das neueste Mitglied der BiWuBären-Familie vorstellen... herrlich! Und wie ich sehe, hat Birgit schon alles für das Foto-Shooting vorbereitet.

... today I finally can introduce the newest member of our BiWuBear-Family... great! And as I can see here Birgit already prepared everything for the photo-shooting.

 

           

Fehlen nur noch Birgit und die Kamera... denn unsere Hauptbärson ist schon hier. Ich darf Euch vorstellen: Das ist unser Hazel!

Only Birgit and her camera are still missing... but our beary important bearson is already here. I may proudly present: This is our Hazel!

         

       

Flutterby: Hallo Hazel! Schön Dich zu sehen. Bist Du schon aufgeregt... so von wegen erstes Fotoshooting und erster Blogauftritt?

Hazel: Absolut... das ist wirklich alles spannend. Und diese Blätter hat Birgit also für mich ausgesucht... sieht ja sehr schön aus.

Flutterby: Sehr schön... schon richtig herbstlich. Vor allem aber sieht es aber auch spaßig aus, findest Du nicht?

Hazel (grinst): Sehr spaßig... und mal ehrlich... so lange Birgit noch nicht mit der Kamera da ist, könnten wir doch noch ein bisschen Spaß haben, oder?

Flutterby (auch grinsend): Unbedingt... mir ist da nämlich eben was eingefallen... warte mal...

Flutterby: Hi Hazel! Great to see you. Are you already excited... having your first photo-shooting and your first appearance on the blog?

Hazel: Absolutely... this is all totally exciting. So Birgit has chosen these leaves for me... they look very lovely.

Flutterby: Lovely indeed... and totally like fall. But above all they're looking funny, won't you agree?

Hazel (grinning): Totally funny... and say... as long as Birgit isn't still here with her camera... why shouldn't we have a little fun in the meantime?

Flutterby (grinning too): For sure... and I have an idea coming up... wait a moment...

Flutterby: Na, wie wäre das... Herbstlook für Flatterbärchen!

Hazel (lacht): Sieht klasse aus. Merk Dir das für die Halloweenparty! Warte mal...

*One moment later*

Flutterby: Say, what about that... Autumn look for flutterybearies!

Hazel (laughing): Looks gorgeous. Keep that in mind for the Halloween party! But wait...

      

 

*Einen weiteren Augenblick später*

Hazel: Und das ist dann mein Outfit für Halloween - ich gehe als Graf Blattula!

*Another moment later*

Hazel: And this will be my outfit at Halloween - I will be Count Leafula!

 

 

Flutterby: Herrlich... dann bin ich Sir Flutterblatt!

Flutterby: Great... then I will be Sir Flutterleaf!

 

 

Hazel: Sir Flutterblatt und Graf Blattula... das wird ein Spaß... Und nicht nur zu Halloween - mir fällt auch noch was zu Karneval ein... oder besser gesagt... Karneval in Rio!

Hazel: Sir Flutterleaf and Count Leafula... this is going to be fun... And not only at Halloween - I have another idea in mind for carnival... or let's better say... Carnival in Rio!

 

 

Ehrlich gesagt - in dem Moment gab es für Hazel und mich echt kein Halten mehr...

To be honest - this was the moment Hazel and I couldn't help ourselves anymore...

 

 

Uns beiden tat schon der Bauch weh vor lauter Lachen... so viel Spaß... Aber dann hörten wir plötzlich eine wohlvertraute Stimme aus dem Hintergrund, die fragte, ob mit uns alles in Ordnung sei...

Our tummies were already aching because of too much laughter... so much fun... But suddenly we were hearing a well-known voice out of the background asking us if everything was okay with us...

 

 

Flutterby + Hazel (im Chor): Aber natürlich!!! Wir haben nur ein bisschen die Blätter hier auf Spaßtauglichkeit getestet.

Birgit (verdreht die Augen): Kann man hier eigentlich nichts stehen lassen, ohne dass hier gleich wieder irgendwelcher Blödsinn getrieben wird?

Flutterby + Hazel (kichernd): Wir haben da so unsere berechtigten Zweifel...

Flutterby + Hazel (together): But for sure!!! We've only been testing these leaves for their fun potential.

Birgit (rolling her eyes): Isn't it possible letting anything around here without anyone fooling around with it at the very same moment?

Flutterby + Hazel (giggling): Looks like that's the way it goes...

 

Mal ehrlich... man muss doch das Leben genießen, wann immer es geht, oder? Aber wir können auch brav sein... so ab und zu... manchmal... jedenfalls hat Hazel sein Fotoshooting danach ganz artig absolviert.

Honestly... you have to enjoy life whenever there's an opportunity, haven't you? But we can even be well-behaved... sometimes... every now and then... because now Hazel finished his photo-shooting being very nice and well-behaved.

heute müssen wir uns mal in einer ganz traurigen Angelegenheit an Euch wenden...

Hoy debemos acudir en momentos de un asunto muy triste que ...

 

Gestern erreichte uns eine traurige Nachricht von unserer Blogfreundin Tine von den FreChBären. Tine und ihr Mann waren kürzlich zusammen mit Tines Blogbärchen Sophie und als Gast mit Macciato, dem Blogbärchen vom Tinchen aus Tapsis Bärenhöhle für ein paar Tage auf Urlaub in Barcelona. Am Mittwoch, 2. Oktober, wurden sie dabei Opfer eines dreisten Überfalls. Den Menschen ist zum Glück nichts passiert, aber Tines Handtasche wurde gestohlen und darin waren neben anderen Wertsachen eben auch die beiden Blogbärchen Sophie und Macciato.

Yesterday we received a sad message from our blogfriend Tine of "FreChBären". Tine and her husband recently spent some days on vacation in Barcelona together with Tine's blogbeary Sophie and as a holiday guest Macciato, the blogbeary of Martina from "Tapsi's Bärenhöhle". On Wednesday, October 2nd, they became the victims of a robbery. To our relief the humans were not injured, but Tine's handbag was stolen and inside were next to other valuable things also the two blogbearies Sophie and Macciato.

Ayer recibimos una noticia triste de nuestro blog amigo Tine del "FreChBären". Tine y su esposo fueron recientemente junto con Tines blog oso Sophie y como invitados con Macchiato, el blog oso de ​​Martina de "Tapsis Bärenhöhle" durante unos días de vacaciones en Barcelona. El miércoles 2 Octubre, eran como una víctima de un robo descarado. We don't have much hope finding those two... but nevertheless... we are many on the blogs! So we're asking all of our readers, especially those from Spain, but all the others too: Please help us on our search for those two stolen bearies! Please post the following photo on your blogs and copy the text below.. and who knows... maybe someday someone might discover one or even both bearies for example at a flea market or on ebay...

No teníamos muchas esperanzas de encontrar a los dos - y sin embargo ... somos muchos los blogs! Y por lo que pedimos a todos nuestros lectores, sobre todo de España, por supuesto, pero también a todos los demás: Por favor, ayúdanos a encontrar las robadas dos osos! Fluby ist auch völlig verzweifelt über das "Bärnapping" seiner Freunde - immerhin hat er Sophie schon einmal bärsönlich getroffen. Und Birgit braucht sich nur vorzustellen, wie sie sich fühlen würde, wenn jemand Flutterby gestohlen hätte...

Fluby is crying his heart out since he heard about the "bearnapping" of his friends - he even met Sophie one time bearsonally. And Birgit only has to imagine how she would feel if someone would have stolen Flutterby...

Fluby es totalmente consternado por la "Bearnapping" de sus amigos - Sophie después de todo lo que ha conocido en persona. Y Birgit sólo necesita imaginar cómo se sentirían si alguien había robado Flutterby ....

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 171)

Hallo,

 

ich freue mich sehr, Euch zum ersten Kaffeeklatsch im Oktober begrüßen zu dürfen. Das haben der Oktober und ich dann auch echt gemeinsam - den ersten Kaffeeklatsch... denn es ist in der Tat das allererste Mal, dass ich hier aus der Kaffeeklatschtasse grüßen darf. Aber die Sonntage vor Halloween gehören nun mal den magischen BiWuBärchen - und da durfte ich heute den Anfang machen.

... it's a big pleasure to me being able to host October's first "Kaffeeklatsch". This is what October and I have in commom - the first "Kaffeeklatsch"... because it is indeed my very first time to greet you out of the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug. The Sundays before Halloween belong traditionally to us magical BiWuBearies - and I was chosen to be the first one this year.

           

          

Übrigens lässt es sich in so einer Kaffeeklatschtasse echt gut aushalten... vorausgesetzt natürlich, man ist ein BiWuBärchen. Ich habe früher auf meinen Reisen zu allen möglichen magischen Orten auf der Welt wirklich schon allerhand gesehen und mitgemacht... aber in eine Kaffeetasse hat es selbst mich vorher noch nie verschlagen. Aber es ist überraschend nett hier drin... doch, echt gemütlich und man hat ganz ohne Kristallkugel einen tollen Blick von hier.

Btw it's quite comfy inside of this "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug... at least if you're a BiWuBeary. During my journeys to all kind of magical places all over the world I've seen a lot and experienced even more... but even I have never been sitting in a coffee cup before. But it is surprisingly nice inside here... really, quite comfy and even without a crystal ball you have a very good view from here.

 

Und doch... noch besser als in einer Kaffeetasse zu sitzen ist es doch, die Kaffeetasse mit Kaffee zu füllen. Und ich wette, das wird Euch nicht überraschen, selbst ein magisches Bärchen wie ich ist einem schönen gemütlichen Kaffeeklatsch nicht abgeneigt, ganz im Gegenteil... nur mein Geschmack in Kuchenfragen ist vermutlich ein anderer als Eurer. Wo Ihr Sahne nehmt, bevorzugen wir Zauberer eher Krötenschleim... *grins* Aber was auch immer auf den Teller oder in die Tasse kommt und egal ob Magier oder nicht - ein schöner Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch gehört zu jedem Sonntag doch einfach dazu. Und genau dabei wünsche ich Euch nachher noch ganz viel Spaß - bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine tolle Woche, die wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch - und eine tolle Zeit bis Halloween... Wir vom Hexenturm können es bis dahin immer kaum aushalten... obwohl... ein paar Tage sind es ja doch noch bis dahin. Mal schauen... vielleicht schaffen Mysteria und ich es ja, dieses Halloween im neuen Zuhause zu verbringen... ;O)

Nevertheless... even better than sitting in a coffee cup is filling the coffee cup with coffee for sure. And I bet you won't be surprised that even a magical beary like me doesn't say no to a nice comfy "Kaffeeklatsch", no, never... only my taste as far as cakes are concerned might be different to yours. Where you're prefering cream it's usually toad slime for wizards like me... *grin* But whatever you're putting on your plate or pouring in your cup and whether you're a magician or not - a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" belongs without doubt to every Sunday. And for this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on - having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And a great week - that's what I'm wishing to you on top... and a great time until Halloween. We inhabitants of the witch tower are impatiently counting the days... although... there are still some days left until then. Let's wait and see... maybe Mysteria and I will be spending this year's Halloween in our own home... ;O)

Aufbewahrungslösungen für Hexen und Zauberer

Hallo,

 

ich weiß nicht, wie es Euch geht - aber Stauraum kann man doch eigentlich nie genug haben, oder? Also, ich selbst habe auch so einige Boxen in meinem Strawberry Cottage, wo ich einiges unterbringen kann... und von meiner Birgit will ich an dieser Stelle gar nicht erst anfangen zu erzählen, sonst explodiert dieser Post... *lach*
... I don't know about you - but one can never have enough storage space, can't you? Well, I myself have a lot of boxes in Strawberry Cottage to store my belongings... and I won't start telling you about my Birgit at this place or otherwise this post might explode... *LOL*

 

Aber nicht nur unsereiner hat viele Dinge unterzubringen - auch Hexen und Magier müssen ihren Krempel irgendwo verstauen. Gut, die können notfalls auch einen Schrumpfzauber sprechen... aber auf manche Dinge möchte man halt auch mal direkten Zugriff haben. So geht es auch unseren Hexenturmbewohnern... und deshalb musste Birgit bei ihren Planungen für das Obergeschoß des neuen Hexenturms auch berücksichtigen, dass selbst magische Bärchen ihren Kram... äh... ihre wertvollen Unterlagen und Besitztümer irgendwo unterbringen müssen. Wobei ich irgendwie glaube, dass es da ein bisschen mit meiner Birgit... *räusper*... sagen wir mal... durchgegangen ist.
But not only we ourselves have many things to store - even witches and wizards need to store their stuff. Okay, they're able to say a shrinking spell... but there are some things you need right at paw still. That's the same for our witch tower inhabitants so Birgit had to keep in mind during her planning of the upper floor of the new witch tower that even magical bearies need to store their stuff... eh... their valuable documents and belongings somewhere. But somehow I think my Birgit got... *clears his throat*... let's say... a bit carried away.

        

         

Das sollte ich mal machen... all meine Papiere usw. einfach wild übereinander stapeln. Da müsste ich mir wieder anhören "Fluby, räum Deinen Kram endlich weg..." - aber wenn man de Spell heißt, dann darf man einfach alles auftürmen. Aber gut... ist ja schon irgendwie witzig, so ein magischer Papierstapel - übrigens auch von der anderen Seite.
Imagine me doing this... stacking all my papers wildly one on the other. Then I would have to listen again to "Fluby, finally clean up your mess... " - but when your name is de Spell you're allowed to stack everyhing. But okay... somehow it's quite funny, such a magical paper stack - btw also from the other side.
       

            

Na, hab' ich Euch zu viel versprochen? Das Teil ist von allen Seiten her unordentlich... *lach* Sieht sehr instabil aus, aber irgendwie hält das alles doch... ich bin mir nur noch nicht sicher, durch wessen Magie... die von Mysteria oder die von Birgit und ihrem Kleber? Immerhin hat Birgit ja auch alles andere daran gemacht... Aber damit noch nicht genug... als nächstes kam Birgit mit dieser Truhe von Safari an.
And, did I promise you too much? This piece is untidy from all sides... *LOL* Looks very unstable but everything holds together somehow... but I'm not quite sure which kind of magic might be responsible for this... Mysteria's or perhaps Birgit's together with her glue? At least Birgit has made everything else by herself... But that wasn't still everything... Bigit came next with this chest by Safari.
        

        
Mal ehrlich... die sieht doch total aus wie eine Schatztruhe, oder? Da war ich echt aufgeregt... und musste gleich mal einen Blick hinein werfen... ob da drin wirklich ein Schatz aufbewahrt wird?
Really... it looks like a treasure chest, doesn't it? I was kind or excited about that and wanted to have a look inside it at once... would there really be a treasure hidden inside?
       

       
Was für eine Enttäuschung!!! Kein Schatz... nur so olle Golddukaten und Goldschmuck... aber nicht eine einzige Erdbeere! *menno* Aber wieder im Ernst - Birgit wollte diese Truhe natürlich nicht für einen Schatz, sondern für weiteren Kram... äh... wichtige Unterlagen. Und die Truhe gefiel ihr, obwohl das Scharnier natürlich sehr groß ist - ist halt keine Puppenhausminiatur. Die Truhe bekam ein paar farbliche Akzente und jede Menge Kram... äh... wichtige Unterlagen.
How disappointing!!! No treasure... only dumb gold ducats and gold jewelry... but not one single strawberry! *rats* But okay, after fooling around back to being serious - of course Birgit didn't want this chest for a treasure but for more stuff... eh... important documents. And she liked that chest although the hinge is way too big... well, it's no dollhouse miniature. The chest received some paint accents and a lot of stuff... eh... important documents.
        

            
So sollte ich mal meine Sachen in Strawberry Cottage aufbewahren... aber die Damen Hexen und Herren Zauberer, die dürfen das... nur ich kleines Flatterbärchen muss immer alles wegräumen, irgendwie ist das ungerecht, oder? Ich glaube, diese Art von Ungerechtigkeit schreit nach einer Extra-Honigmilch zum Trost... *hihi* Darüber werde ich gleich mal mit Birgit schwätzeln... aber vorher muss ich Euch zum Thema magischer Stauraum noch das magische Regal zeigen. Das kennt Ihr ja schon... aber inzwischen ist es voll mit Kram... äh... magischer Dekoration.
If I would store my belongings like that in Strawberry Cottage... but the honorable witches and honorable wizards are allowed to do so... but I being only a little flutterybeary always have to be tidy, that's somehow unfair, isn't it? I think this kind of injustice cries for an extra honey milk for comfort... *teehee* I'm going to have some serious talking about that with Birgit... but before that I still have to show you the magical shelf to make the topic of magical storage space complete. You already know it... but in the meantime it's full with stuff... eh... magical decoration.

Gefällt mir, "Witchy Chic" vom Feinsten... *zwinker* Also, so langsam füllt sich auch das Obergeschoß vom neuen Hexenturm... viel fehlt nicht mehr und auch das wird fertig und einzugsbereit sein. ;O)

Willkommen im Oktober

Hallo,

 

wir sind ein bisschen spät dran mit unserem Oktober-Willkommensgruß... aber Birgit hatte sehr viel zu tun und da war vorher keine Zeit. Natürlich war es da für mich noch mehr als sonst Ehrensache, ihr bei der allmonatlichen Kalenderumstellung tatkräftig zu helfen - einmal Gentlebär, immer Gentlebär. Und ganz nebenbei... es schadet nie, ein paar Pluspunkte zu sammeln... Weihnachten ist nicht mehr so weit weg... *hihi*

... we are a little late with our welcoming of October... but Birgit has been very busy so we've had no time before. But of course it was even more than usual a question of honor to me helping her with updating all her calendars - one time a gentlebear, always a gentlebear. And btw... it's never a bad idea collecting some points for being good... Christmas is not that far away anymore... *teehee*

 

Schauen wir mal, was unser Sprüchekalender uns diesen Monat so zu bieten hat... auf jeden Fall schon mal ein wunderschönes Bild. Und ein Zitat von Dale Carnegie: "Glück hängt nicht davon ab, wer Du bist oder was Du hast; es hängt nur davon ab, was Du denkst."

Let's have a look what our wisdom calendar has in store for this month... well, indeed a beautiful picture. And a saying by Dale Carnegie (as always I'm not going to quote but try to say it in my own poor English), he said happiness doesn't depend on who you are or what you have; it only depends on what you're thinking.

           

          

Das kann ich bestätigen... denn ich denke andauernd, dass ich das glücklichste Flatterbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt bin! *lach* Ganz im Sinne von Goethe, der festgestellt hat: "Dass ich fröhlich bin, die Sachen leicht nehme, das ist mein Glück." Und Jonathan Swift hat einmal gesagt: "Jedes Lachen vermehrt das Glück auf Erden." Hmmm... also fröhlich sein... Lachen... und richtig Denken... und dann kommt das Glück von ganz allein? Nun, schon Buddha hat gesagt: "Es gibt keinen Weg zum Glück. Glücklichsein ist der Weg."

I can tell that's true... because I'm always thinking of myself being the most happiest flutterybeary in the whole wide world! *LOL* Right in the sense of Goethe who said that I'm (which means him, good ol' Goethe) jolly, taking things easy, that's my happiness. And Jonathan Swift once said every laughter increases the amount of happiness on earth. Hmmm... so being jolly... laughter... and thinking the right way... and then happiness just walks in? Well, Buddha once said there's no way to happiness - happiness is the way.

 

Alles ganz schön verwirrend mit dem Glück... aber ich finde, dieser Spruch von Rainer Kaune bringt es sehr gut und sehr einfach auf den Punkt: "Der richtige Augenblick zum Glücklichsein ist jetzt!" Das finde ich den richtigen Ansatz... versuchen wir doch einfach mal, jetzt und hier glücklich zu sein, mit dem, was wir tun und denken uns glücklich... und das Lachen sollten wir dabei auch nicht zu kurz kommen lassen. In dem Sinne werde ich Birgit jetzt mal bitten, ob sie mir eine schöne Honigmilch macht - denn das würde mir echt ein Lachen ins Gesicht zaubern - und schon wäre das Glück auf Erden wieder mehr geworden... ;O)

Kind of confusing when it comes to happiness... but in my opinion this saying by Rainer Kaune brings it quite well to the point, he said the right moment for happiness is now. I think that's the right spirit... let's just try to be happy here and now with the things we do and let's have happy thoughts... and don't forget about the laughter. Having this in mind I'm going to ask Birgit if she would consider preparing a nice honey milk for me - because this would put a big smile on my face - and would increase happiness on earth immediately... ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 170)

Hallo

 

und herzlich Willkommen zum letzten Kaffeeklatsch im September. Nachdem Angelina sich letzte Woche zu Recht darüber beklagt hat, dass sie so lange auf ihren Kaffeeklatsch-Auftritt warten musste, haben wir heute schon wieder einen besonderen Kaffeeklatsch. So ist das nun mal, besondere Anlässe erfordern besondere Kaffeeklätsche, da muss die Chronologie zurück stehen. Und deshalb haben wir heute auch einen besonderen Gast dabei, die kleine Molly, ein Bärchen, das eine liebe, kleine Freundin von uns letztes Jahr genäht hat für Birgit als Weihnachtsgeschenk. Und weil genau diese junge Dame gestern stolze 7 Jahre alt geworden ist, wollen wir heute die Gelegenheit nutzen und nachträglich herzlich gratulieren:

... and a heartwarm Welcome to our last "Kaffeeklatsch" in September. Since Angelina was rightly complaining about having to wait very long with her appearance in the "Kaffeeklatsch" we're having another "Kaffeeklatsch Special" again today. That's the way it goes sometimes, special occasions deserve special "Kaffeeklatsch"s, even chronology has to stand back then. And therefore we have a special guest today, little Molly, a beary sewn by a dear little friend as a gift for Birgit for last year's Christmas. And because this young lady turned 7 years old yesterday we want to take the opportunity today for belated congratulations:

           

        

Wir wünschen Dir alles Liebe und Gute zu Deinem 7. Geburtstag, liebe Shania! Wir hoffen, Du hattest einen wunderbaren Tag und eine ganz tolle Geburtstagsfeier!!!

 

Mit etwas Glück hat Shania noch Kuchen von gestern übrig, so dass ihr Kaffeeklatsch heute gesichert ist. *zwinker* Wir hoffen, das Gleiche gilt für unsere blaue Fee Blue, die ja inzwischen wohlbehalten in ihrem neuen Zuhause angekommen ist. Betsy hat ihr zur Begrüßung gleich eine Tasse hingestellt - kein Wunder, dass Blue sich sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt hat. *lach* Diese schönen Bilder haben wir von Blue und Betsy bekommen, die winzigen Rattenwesen sind Anna Maria und Samuel Whiskers, Charaktere aus Betsy's wunderbarem Geschichtenkosmos.

With a little luck Shania has some cake left over from yesterday's party so her "Kaffeeklatsch" today would be secured. *wink* We hope the same for our blue fairy Blue who in the meantime arrived safe and sound in her new home. As a welcome Betsy offered her at first a cup - no surprise Blue felt at home at once. *LOL* We received thosse lovely pictures from Blue and Betsy, the tiny rat beings are Anna Maria and Samuel Whiskers, characters out of Betsy's wonderful storytelling cosmos.

Und deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stücken oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche, die wünsche ich Euch wie immer natürlich auch. Kommt gut in den Oktober!

But you would regret for sure if you wouldn't enjoy a cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" today - because without that a Sunday wouldn't be complete, would it? Weihnachten im September

Hallo,

 

manch einem mag es ja noch sehr seltsam vorkommen, jetzt schon an Weihnachten zu denken... schließlich ist der Sommer kaum vorbei und der Herbst gerade erst vorbei gekommen. Aber das hier sind die Fakten: Es sind nur noch 12 Wochen hin bis Heiligabend und insgesamt nur noch 88 Tage. Und mal ehrlich... was ist schon eine Woche? *lach*

... some of you might think it's kind of strange thinking about Christmas already... somehow Summer is just gone and Autumn has just stepped in. But these are the facts: There are only 12 weeks left until Christmas Eve which means only 88 days until then. And honestly speaking... how fast does a single week fly by? *LOL*
              

Aber ich wollte natürlich nicht, dass jetzt einige von Euch Panik bekommen... nein, ich wollte Euch nicht erschrecken - aber Birgit ein bisschen beistehen, damit Ihr nicht denkt, was ist denn mit der los, dass sie jetzt schon Weihnachten im Kopf hat... Vor allem hat Birgit aber nicht nur die unerbitterlich voranschreitende Zeit im Auge, sie hat vor allem nicht vergessen, dass sie mir letztes Jahr versprochen hat, dass ich meinen eigenen Weihnachtsbaum für Strawberry Cottage bekomme. Letztes Jahr hatte ich ja leihweise den von Noel, aber Noel und sein Weihnachtsbaum sind ja nun zu Silke in die Villa Ratatouille ausgewandert. Und deshalb hat Birgit erst mal ganz viel gewerkelt, denn der Baum sollte schließlich mit selbstgemachten Kugeln geschmückt werden. Was Ihr hier seht, ist wirklich nur ein kleiner Teil von all den Kugeln, die Birgit gebastelt hat.

But of course I didn't want to bring to you feelings of panic... no, I didn't want to scare you - but I wanted to stand a little bit on Birgit's side to avoid anyone thinking what might be wrong with her because she's already heavily thinking about Christmas... And above all Birgit didn't forget she had promised me last year that I would get my own Christmas tree for Strawberry Cottage. Last year I borrowed Noel's, but Noel and his Christmas tree have now found a new home at Silke's in the Villa Ratatouille. So Birgit worked a lot because she wanted the tree to be decorated with selfmade baubles. What you can see here is only a very small part of the baubles Birgit has crafted.

         

        

Und dann kam das Schönste... das Weihnachtsbaumschmücken! Liebt Ihr das auch so? Aber jetzt... *Trommelwirbel bitte* präsentiere ich Euch meinen eigenen Weihnachtsbaum!

But now we come to the best part... trimming the Christmas tree! Do you love that as much as I do? But now *drumroll please* I proudly present my very own Christmas tree!

           

           

Ist er nicht schöööööööööön??? Hach... ich bin eben doch das glücklichste Flatterbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt! Und das Allerbeste daran:

Isn't it beeeeeeeeautiful??? *Sigh* I am indeed the most happiest flutterybeary in the whole wide world! And the very best of it:

     

        

Stimmung!!! Wie toll ist das denn? Mit Weihnachtsbeleuchtung... Birgit hat an alles gedacht. Und weil sie gerade so gut in Schwung war, hat sie nicht nur für mich einen Weihnachtsbaum gebastelt sondern auch für Nemus. Birgit ist schließlich die Patentante von Mellis kleinem Waldkobold, da war es Ehrensache, dass sie dem kleinen Kerl seinen eigenen Weihnachtsbaum spendiert.

Atmosphere!!! How great is that? With Christmas lights... Birgit thought of everything. And because she just had the right swing she not only crafted a Christmas tree for me but also for Nemus. Being the godmother of Melli's little forest goblin it was in a way a question of honor for Birgit to give the little chap his own Christmas tree.

           

              

Allerdings ist Melli seitdem einem Nervenzusammenbruch nah, weil Nemus nicht von dem Lichtschalter wegzukriegen ist und ständig fragt "Wann ist denn nun endlich Weihnachten?" *grins* Ich soll übrigens an dieser Stelle von Birgit ausrichten: "Melli, denk dran - Du hast zwei Ohren!" Na, da möchte ich aber Nemus mal ganz laut zurufen: "Hey, Kumpel - gib nicht auf!!! Schließlich sind Ersatzbatterien dabei!" *hihi*

Sad but true - since then Melli is close to a nervous breakdown because Nemus doesn't leave the light switch alone and is asking without any pause: "But how long until Christmas?" *grin* I shall tell this now to Melli on Birgit's order: "Melli, always remember - you've got a pair of ears!" Well, now I want to shout out loud to Nemus: "Hey, buddy - don't give up!!! Remember you also received extra batteries!" *teehee*

 

Aber wie Ihr ja wisst - aller guten Dinge sind immer noch Drei... deshalb hat sich Birgit zu guter Letzt auch noch den Weihnachtsbaum vom BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt vorgenommen und ihm eine komplette Runderneuerung spendiert.

But as you all know - it always takes three to make it good... so Birgit finally also took the Christmas tree of the BiWuBear-Christmas Market and granted him a complete makeover.

            

          

Also, wenn ich das so sehe... dann wünschte ich wirklich, unser Weihnachtsmarkt würde bald öffnen. Aber bis zur Eröffnung am 1. Advent sind es noch 65 Tage - aber mal ehrlich... was sind schon 65 Tage, wo die Zeit so fliegt??? *lach*

Really, when I'm looking at this... then I would really wish our Christmas Market would open soon. But until the grand opening at the 1st of Advent it's still 65 days - but honestly speaking...how long can 65 days be when time flies like it does??? *LOL*
