3. Advent

Hallo,

 

wir begrüßen Euch herzlich zu unserem Adventssonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch am 3. Advent.
… and a heartfelt welcome to our Adventsundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" at Advent 3rd.
 

 

Und ich werde heute zur Abwechslung mal kein Wort darüber verlieren, dass ich wie immer keine Ahnung habe wo die Zeit geblieben ist und wie es sein kann, dass wir nun schon wieder den 3. Advent haben und Weihnachten nun wirklich nicht mehr weit ist, ja, darüber wundere ich mich sogar noch mehr als letzte Woche, aber wie gesagt, ich werde heute dazu nichts sagen... *grins* Ich konzentriere mich lieber darauf, dass der 3. Advent ja den Namen "Gaudete" trägt... wir sollen uns freuen... natürlich auf die Geburt des Jesus-Kindes... aber man kann sich ja auch über Geschenke von lieben Menschen freuen, die inzwischen wieder bei uns eingegangen sind, oder? Aber natürlich müssen wir Euch als Erstes das Geschenk unserer lieben Ilona zum 2. For a change today I'm not going to say anything about me not having the slightest clue where time might have gone to or how it could be that we're finding ourselves now in Advent 3rd already with Christmas being indeed VERY near, yes, I'm wondering about all of this even more than I already did last week but as I've said bevor I'm not going to say anything about this today… *grin* Instead of this I'm concentrating on the fact that Advent 3rd is named "Gaudete"... we shall rejoice and be happy... of course about the birth of the Jesus child… but it's also possible to be happy about gifts coming from dear people that have arrived at our place in the meantime, isn't it? Muss ich eigentlich noch erwähnen, dass wir uns wieder mal Birgits Vortrag zum Thema "Alles hat seine Zeit und die Zeit für Weihnachtsgeschenke ist Heiligabend" anhören mussten?! *grummel* Ach, all diese Versuchungen... und das wurde absolut nicht besser, als ein Riesenpaket von der lieben Ulrike hier ankam (Link zu Ulrikes Blog: https://fadentraeume.blogspot.com/).

And do I need to mention still that once more we had to listen to Birgit's recitation with the topic "Everything has its own time and the time for Christmas gifts is Christmas Eve"?! *grumble* Oh my, all these temptations… and this didn't get any better with the arrival of a giant package being sent by our dear Ulrike (Link to Ulrike's blog: https://fadentraeume.blogspot.com/).
           

 

Und, kommen Euch die beiden Weihnachtswichtel irgendwie bekannt vor? Genau - die hatten bereits am Anfang ihren Auftritt beim Kaffeeklatsch-Bild... die waren ja nicht eingepackt. A propos eingepackt... Birgit hat sich sogar riesig über das Verpackungsmaterial gefreut! Das ist nämlich Füllwatte... und wird irgendwann mal zum Füttern eines neuen BiWuBärchens benutzt werden. Rosey und ich finden übrigens die Schokokugeln viiiiiiiiel interessanter... einig waren wir uns aber alle in dem Punkt, dass alleine die liebevolle Verpackung der Päckchen eine Schau war. Und stellt Euch vor - Ulrike hat uns geschrieben, dass wir eines der Päckchen unbedingt schon vor Weihnachten aufmachen sollten. Dieses hier:
Say, do you by chance recognize those two Christmas gnomes? Sure - they already appeared at the beginning having their showtime at our "Kaffeeklatsch"-photo… well, they weren't wrapped. Speaking about wrapping… Birgit was very happy about the stuffing material! This is fiberfill… which will be used to feed a new BiWuBeary some day. Meanwhile Rosey and I consider the chocolate balls to be much moooore interesting… but we all agreed that the lovely wrapping of the gifts was somehow art in itself. And listen to this - Ulrike wrote a message telling us that we should open one of the packages before Christmas. This one:
 

 

Muss ich noch erwähnen, dass ich in dem Moment, wo Birgit das Foto gemacht hatte, sofort unter Beweis gestellt habe, dass ich immer noch der amtierende Weltmeister im Päckchenöffnen in der Bärchenklasse bis 10 cm bin??? *grins* Diese bildschöne Box kam zum Vorschein...
Do I have to mention at all that in the very moment after Birgit had taken this photo I've proved once more that I'm still the actual world champion of opening packages in the beary class up to 10 cm??? *grin* Inside we found this beautiful box...

… von denen einige so schnell verschwunden waren, dass sie es nicht mehr auf das Foto geschafft haben. *hihi* Wirklich lecker... aber wir müssen noch die Karte von Ulrike zeigen, denn die hat uns alle begeistert. Von außen mit einem schönen Lasercut…

... einfach nur WOW! Hammer, oder? Vielen, vielen Dank, liebe Ulrike! Aber auch wir haben ja ein paar Weihnachtsgrüße in die Welt geschickt, von denen inzwischen zum Glück fast alle angekommen sind. Und in einem davon war noch ein ganz besonderes Geschenk für eine sehr liebe Freundin von uns. Sie hat ihr Päckchen inzwischen erhalten, deshalb können wir Euch heute endlich ein weiteres Mitglied unserer BiWuBären-Truppe vorstellen:

But we too have sent a few Christmas greetings out to the world and luckily most of all have already arrived at their destination. But in one of those packages was a very special gift included for a dear friend of ours. She has received her package in the meantime that's why we're able to introduce you to another member of our BiWuBeary gang today:

 

Das hier ist Soleil... der aber nur Solly gerufen wird. Er freut sich schon darauf, seiner neuen "Mama" beim Basteln Gesellschaft zu leisten.
This is Soleil... but he's just called Solly. And he's really looking forward to be a good companion for his new "Mom" keeping watch while she's crafting along.

 

Wie alle BiWuBärchen versteht er aber auch etwas von einem guten, gemütlichen Kaffeeklatsch - wie er bei unserem Abschiedskaffeeklatsch in Christmas Cottage unter Beweis gestellt hat. *schmunzel*
But like every other BiWuBeary he is also an expert when it comes to a good and cozy "Kaffeeklatsch" - which he proved well at our Goodbye-"Kaffeeklatsch" in Christmas Cottage. *smile*
 

 

Bevor Rosey und ich heute unseren Adventssonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch genießen können, haben wir aber noch ein wenig Arbeit vor uns. Schließlich müssen wir Euch noch die restlichen Buden von unserem Weihnachtsmarkt zeigen... wieder bereits beim Aufbau aufgenommen.
But before Rosey and I are able to enjoy today's Adventsundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" there's still a bit of work waiting for us. We still need to show the next booths of our Christmas Market to you… once more the pictures were taken while it was under construction.

Letzte Woche hatten wir ja bereits die Glashütte und die Weihnachtsbäckerei gezeigt - die nächste Bude in unserer kleinen Vorstellung ist ein weiterer Favorit aller BiWuBärchen - der Zuckerbäcker! *seufz* All die oberleckeren Leckereien!
Last week we've already shown the "Glashütte" and the "Weihnachtsbäckerei" (glass hut and Christmas bakery) - the next booth in our little presentation is another favourite of all BiWuBearies  - the "Zuckerbäcker" hut (candy shop / confectioner's shop)! *sigh* All those yummy treats!
 

 

Und damit kommen wir zur Bude "Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" - mit sehr vielen Miniaturen von Volker Arnold, aber auch einigen Krippen, die Birgit gestaltet hat. (Link zum eBay-Shop von Volker Arnold: https://www.ebay.de/usr/va-holzkunst-de)
And next in line is the stall "Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" - with many miniatures made by Volker Arnold, but also with some nativities created by Birgit (Link to the eBay-Shop of Volker Arnold: https://www.ebay.de/usr/va-holzkunst-de).

"Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" means wood art from the Ore Mountains. The Ore Mountains are a region in Saxony (former GDR) which are well-known for traditional wood art related to Christmas and "Original Erzgebirge" is for sure a trademark for "Schwibbögen", pyramids, nutcrackers and all sorts of wooden ornaments… most of them having their origin in this area.
 

 

Die letzte Bude unseres BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarktes ist bekanntermaßen eine ganz besondere... ohne Teddy's Stand würde es unseren Weihnachtsmarkt gar nicht geben, denn diese Bude war vor vielen Jahren die Erste. Birgit hat hier nur ein paar Ergänzungen vorgenommen.
The last stall of our BiWuBeary Christmas Market is already known to be a very special one… without Teddy's booth our Christmas Market would not exist because this stall was many years ago the first. Birgit has just given some additional touches to it.

 

Hier findet man alles, was man fürs Fest braucht... vor allem aber Teddys berühmten Punsch!
Here you're able to find everything for the holidays… but most important of all Teddy's famous "Punsch"!
 

 

Bekanntermaßen gebraut nach dem Rezept seiner Schwiegermutter! *lach* Und obwohl er allein vom Punsch-Verkauf richtig gut leben könnte, hat Teddy letztes Jahr expandiert und noch einen Karren mit allerlei Weihnachtsschmuck aufgestellt... der irgendwie verdächtig viel Birgit Touch aufweist... und dieses Jahr noch ein bisschen "Schnee" auf die Räder bekommen hat.
You may know by now that this is made using a recipe of his mother-in-law! *LOL* And although he could make a good living just by selling mulled wine Teddy expanded last year and installed a cart with loads of Christmas decoration stuff… that shows surprisingly much Birgit touch… and got a bit of snow on its wheels this year.

 

Und natürlich auch neue Batterien für die Lichterkette. *schmunzel*
And of course also new batteries for the light chain. *smile*

Und auch unsere Hexentürmer sind ja immer mit ihrem eigenen Karren vertreten... auf der einen Seite gibt es nur Produkte, die sie das ganze Jahr über auch im Hexereibedarfsstand verkaufen.
And even our witch tower crew is selling from their own cart… one side is just for the sale of products they're selling also in their Witchy supplies store over the year.

Nur für magische Bärchen... *seufz* Aber die andere Seite... die ist für alle Bärchen... und oberlecker! Und garantiert ohne verdächtige Zutaten wie z. B. Spinnenbeinpuder.
For magical bearies only… *sigh* But the other side… this one is for all bearies… and very yummy! And guaranteed to be free from suspicious ingredients like for example spider leg powder.

 

Fehlt nur noch die neue Bude "Toyland" an ihrem neuen Platz:

Obwohl... wenn ich so darüber nachdenke... hmm… wir haben Euch jetzt zwar alle Buden und sonstigen Verkaufsflächen gezeigt... aber etwas fehlt natürlich noch. Unsere langjährigen Leser werden sich vielleicht schon gefragt haben, ob der Verkäuferbär vom Erzgebirgsstand auch in diesem Jahr Service mit einem ganz großen "S" schreibt. Jawoll... das macht er!
Nevertheless… thinking about this… hmmmm… well, we've now shown to you all the stalls and the carts… but something's missing still. Our longtime readers may already have been wondering whether the salesbear of the "Erzgebirgische Holzkunst" is writing SERVICE once more in capital letters. And yes… he does!

 

Zum Glück braucht es ja kein "Reserviert für Sabienchen"-Schild. *lach* Inzwischen wetten wir ja auch längst nicht mehr, ob unser Sabienchen es wohl dieses Jahr schaffen wird, ihr Taschengeld für eine Erzgebirgische Miniatur einzutauschen... es findet sich wirklich niemand mehr, der noch daran glaubt. Vor diesem Hintergrund könnt Ihr sicher verstehen, dass ich meinen Augen nicht getraut habe, als ich diese Woche Sabienchen in unserem hauseigenen Weihnachtsladen traf...
Luckily there's no need for a "Reserved for Sabienchen"-sign. *LOL* Meanwhile we're not placing anymore bets about whether Sabienchen will make it this year to spend her allowance for a miniature from the Ore Mountains or not... there's nobody left who still believes she will. Having this in mind you may understand my big surprise when I met Sabienchen this week in our own Christmas shop.

For our foreign friends who don't know Sabienchen so far… her name is a word game out of the German girl name "Sabine" and the German word for bee which is "Biene". And there's another interesting fact about her - she's the only real BiWuBeary made out of mohair (Birgit has sewn 3 more mohair bears but these were made from bought kits and not from her own BiWuBeary pattern).

 

Glaubt es oder glaubt es nicht - sie war tatsächlich im Begriff, dort einen kleinen Weihnachtsbaum aus Metall zu kaufen!!! Mir dreht sich alles!!! Das würde mir ohne Foto doch gar keiner glauben!
Believe it or not - she was really and in fact about to buy a small metal Christmas tree!!! Everything's rotating around me!!! Nobody would ever believe me without these photos!
 

 

Sabienchen: Oh, hallo Fluby! Schön, Dich zu sehen... schau mal, was ich ausgesucht habe.

Flutterby: Ich seh's.. und ich kann's gar nicht fassen... Du hast wirklich diesen Baum ausgesucht? Im Sinne von Du willst diesen Baum wirklich kaufen? Äh... bist Du's wirklich oder hat Birgit inzwischen doch noch ein zweites BiWuBärchen aus Mohair genadelt?

Sabienchen (grinst): Pass auf, was Du sagst, Kleiner. Ewas mehr Respekt, bitte... darf ich Dich daran erinnern, dass Du mein kleiner Bruder bist?

Flutterby (grinst zurück): Zu Befehl, große, ältere Schwester. Aber ehrlich... wieso bist Du auf einmal so entscheidungsfreudig? Seit Jahren schaffst Du es nicht, Dir etwas am Erzgebirgsstand zu kaufen, weil Du Dich nicht zwischen Krippe und Schwibbogen entscheiden kannst - und hier geht das auf einmal?
Sabienchen: Oh, hi Fluby! Nice to meet you… look what I've chosen.
Flutterby: I see… and in fact I can't believe it... you have really chosen this tree? In the meaning of you really want to buy this tree? Eh... are you for real or did Birgit happen to sew a second BiWuBeary out of mohair in the meantime?
Sabienchen (grinning): Mind your talking, dude. And a little more respect please… may I remind you of the fact that you're my little brother?
Flutterby (grinning back): Ay, big sister, Ma'm. But honestly… how come you've made up your mind so easily? Since years you're not able to decide what to buy from the Ore Mountains booth because you can't decide whether to buy a nativity or a "Schwibbogen" - and here all of a sudden it's easy going for you?

 

Sabienchen: Siehst Du doch... denn dieses Bäumchen ist nämlich ein kleines Gastgeschenk für Rubiel. Meinst Du, er wird sich darüber freuen?

Flutterby: Ganz bestimmt... Rubiel freut sich über alles, was weihnachtlich ist. Gehst Du ihn besuchen?

Sabienchen: Ja, sobald der Verkäuferbär zurück ist... der hat sich kurz entschuldigt und murmelte, er bräuchte ganz schnell eine Kopfschmerztablette.

Flutterby (denkt bei sich): Verständlich, das war bestimmt ein Schock für ihn. (Laut): Ich bin auch gerade auf dem Weg zu Rubiel… und ebenfalls auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Mitbringsel für ihn.

Sabienchen: Kauf doch ein paar Plätzchen... damit kann man nichts verkehrt machen. Außerdem bekommt er ja schon von mir ein Stehrümmerle.

Flutterby (mit breitem Grinsen): Und Du bist wirklich das echte Sabienchen???

Sabienchen (grinst noch breiter): Bärsönlich… und darf ich Dich kurz daran erinnern, dass der Weihnachtsmann es überhaupt nicht mag, wenn kleine Flatterbärchen so frech zu ihrer großen Schwester sind... und außerdem ihre Pfoten nicht aus der Keksdose raushalten können und...
Sabienchen: Trust your eyes… and this little tree is meant to be a little gift for Rubiel. Do you think he is going to like it?
Flutterby: Sure... Rubiel is happy about everything being related to Christmas. Are you on your way to visit him?
Sabienchen: Yes, as soon as the sales bear is back again… he excused himself for a moment and muttered he would really need a headache pill.
Flutterby (thinking by himself): Pretty clear, this must have been a shock for him. (Aloud): I am also on my way to Rubiel… and also searching for a little gift for him.
Sabienchen: You should buy some cookies… you can never fail with giving them along. And he'll already get from me a piece that will need to be dusted every now and then.
Flutterby (with a broad grin): Are you really the one and only Sabienchen???
Sabienchen (grinning even broader): In bearson… and I may remind you that Santa doesn't like it at all if little flutterybearies are mocking their older sister… and are also not able to keep their paws out of the cookie jar and...

 

An dieser Stelle müssen wir den Dialog leider aus redaktionellen Gründen abbrechen... *schwitz* Sabienchen und ich haben uns also auf den Weg zu Rubiel gemacht, der ja das ganze Jahr über seine Weihnachtsstube bewohnt.
At this point we need to interrupt this dialogue due to editorial reasons… *pant* So Sabienchen and I made our way to Rubiel who is living all year long in his Christmas room.

 

Und wie es sich für BiWuBärchen gehört, hatten wir einen schönen gemütlichen Adventskaffeeklatsch zusammen.
And as you would expect from BiWuBearies we enjoyed a nice and cozy Advent-"Kaffeeklatsch" together.
 

 

Und natürlich musste ich auch dem guten alten Henry "Hallo" sagen... während Birgit im Hintergrund angesichts dieser Bilder stöhnt, dass sie eines Tages wirklich beginnen muss, den Weihnachtsladen und Rubiels Weihnachtsstube zu überarbeiten.
And of course I had to say "Hello" to good ol' Henry... while Birgit in the background was mourning when watching these pictures that one day the Christmas shop as well as Rubiel's Christmas room would need a makeover.

Jaja... Birgit und ihre To-do-Liste für Zukunftsprojekte... *grins* Aber nicht nur Birgit hat ja eine To-do-Liste... ich habe auch eine... und auf der steht: 3. Kerze anzünden! Ich liebe Aufgaben, die man gerne und voller Freude erledigen kann! *strahl*
Oh my… Birgit and her to-do-list about her future projects… *grin* But Birgit is not the only one with a to-do-list… I too have one… and on this is written: Lit the 3rd candle! I love duties that can be done happily and easily! *beams-with-joy*

 

Und wir sollen uns an diesem 3. Advent ja nun mal auch ganz besonders freuen. "Gaudete" eben... und worüber könnte man sich wohl mehr freuen als über einen schönen gemütlichen Adventssonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch am 3. Advent? Genau dabei wünschen wir Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Adventssonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Adventssonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Obwohl... wenn ich so darüber nachdenke... ein Besuch auf dem BiWuBären-Weinachtsmarkt macht natürlich auch immer ganz viel Freude. Nun, Rosey und ich werden uns diese Freude nachher noch machen... Ihr dagegen müsst noch bis zum 4. Advent warten, bis Ihr den geöffneten BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt sehen könnt. Ich hatte ja aber schon mal erwähnt, dass Advent mit Warten zu tun hat, oder? *grins* Nehmt das Wort eines Flatterbärchens, das schon unzählige Male einen gewissen Vortrag zum Thema "Alles hat seine Zeit..." gehört hat...  und das Euch eine wunderschöne Zeit bis zum 4. Advent wünscht! ;O)
And we are supposed to be extra happy at this Advent 3rd. Well, "Gaudete"... and what could bring more joy and happiness than a nice and cozy Adventsundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" at Advent 3rd? For this we're wishing you loads of fun later on having one, two cups of tasty Adventsundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Adventsundayafternooncake. Nevertheless… thinking this over… a visit at the BiWuBeary Christmas Market means of course big pleasure and fun too. Well, Rosey and I are going to meet our friends there a little later… while all of you will have to wait until Advent 4th to see the BiWuBeary Christmas Market when open. Haven't I already mentioned that Advent time means waiting for something to arrive? *grin* Just take the word of a flutterybeary who listened innumerable times to a certain speech with the topic "Everything must have its own time"... and who wishes to you a wonderful time until Advent 4th! ;O)
