Das Geheimnis der Silberfolie

Hallo,

 

ich hatte Euch ja versprochen, dass Agent Flutterby Augen und Ohren offen hält über alles, was hier im Moment vor sich geht. Unter anderem galt es da ja zu ergründen, warum Birgit im Moment eine Rolle Alufolie auf ihrem Arbeitstisch liegen hat.

... I promised to you Agent Flutterby would keep his eyes and ears open on everything that's happening around here at the moment. Among other things I had to find out why there's a roll of aluminium foil lying at Birgit's worktable these days.

 

Nun, ich habe das Geheimnis der Silberfolie sehr schnell lüften können - ein Glück, schließlich habe ich da ja einen gewissen Ruf zu verlieren! *kicher* Also, Birgit hat Stücke von der Folie abgerissen und zusammen geknüllt - so wie ich das hier gerade tue.

Well, I was able to solve the mystery of the silver foil really fast - lucky me, because I have a reputation to defend! *giggle* Okay, Birgit has torn off some pieces of that foil and crumbled it up - just the way I'm doing it here.

      

      

Und danach hat sie die einzelnen geknüllten Folienstücke auf eine der sechs Außenwände vom neuen Hexenturm geklebt. Hier seht Ihr mal den Anfang:

Und als alles beklebt und getrocknet war, sah das so aus:

Und dann hat sich Birgit ihre Strukturpaste gegriffen und mit schwarzer Farbe eingefärbt. An dem Löffel könnt Ihr sehr gut erkennen, was da für ein Pamps rausgekommen ist.

And then Birgit took her structure paste and coloured it with black paint. You can guess by looking at the spoon what kind of a mash was the result of this.

      

           

Die Paste hat Birgit dann auf die vorbereitete Wand gestrichen und damit sah das so aus:

Leider sieht man auf dem Foto die Struktur nicht so gut, aber Ihr habt ja die Folienstücke gesehen, da werdet Ihr mir wohl glauben, dass das schön strukturiert ist. Aber Birgit hat noch ein bisschen Farbe drüber gewischt und nun sieht es noch ein bisschen plastischer aus.

Sadly the structure doesn't show well at the photos, but you've seen the pieces of foil so you might believe me that this has a pretty good structure. After Birgit brushed a little paint on the dried paste it looked a little more dimensional.

         

           

Und jetzt wisst Ihr, was es mit der geheimnisvollen Alufolie auf sich hat und wie die Außenwände vom neuen Hexenturm werden - es werden Felswände! Das hat einen guten Grund - der neue Hexenturm soll nämlich mit dem Drachenfelsen zusammen stehen. Birgit schwebt vor, dass der Turm sozusagen aus dem Felsen rauswächst. Wir haben hier mal ein Archivfoto aus Birgits Trockenbauprobierphase - ich hoffe, Ihr könnt Euch das jetzt etwas besser vorstellen (Nebenbei bemerkt - im gleichen Zusammenhang hat Birgit erleichtert festgestellt, dass das Schrankbett tatsächlich passt... *schmunzel*).

And now you know what this business about the mysterious aluminum foil was all about and how the outer walls of the new witch tower will look like - they will become rock walls! There's a good reason for this - the new witch tower shall stand together with the Dragon Rock some day. Birgit plans the tower to grow out of the rock. We included a picture of our archives taken when Birgit was drybuilding the tower - I hope you're getting a better impression now (Btw - at this occasion Birgit found out that the cupboard bed does fit in height... *smile*)

       

         

Zwei Wände hat Birgit schon fast fertig - es fehlt nur noch ein kleiner Touch mit Farbe.

Birgit has almost finished two walls so far - they only lack a little touch of colour still.

       

         

Aber immerhin, ein Anfang ist gemacht! ;O)

Probier's mal mit Gemütlichkeit

Hallo,

 

heute möchte ich Euch wieder ein paar Dinge für den neuen Hexenturm zeigen - diesmal allerdings nichts für die Küche, sondern für das Obergeschoß. Und dabei ist das allseits bekannte Lied von Balu, dem Bären aus Disney's Dschungelbuch, heute mal unser Leitmotiv. Also - probieren wir's mal mit Gemütlichkeit!

... today I'd like to show you some more new things for the new witch tower - this time not fot the kitchen but for the upper floor. And we have a motto here that refers to the wellknown song of Baloo the bear from Disney's Jungle Book. The song "The bare necessities" was translated into "Try it with coziness" in the German version - that's what the post's headline refers to! ;O) So, let's try it with coziness!

 

Schon vor langer Zeit hat Birgit sich spontan in ein Schrankbett verliebt, das sie auf Etsy entdeckt hatte und das einen akzeptablen Preis hatte, zu dem auch Birgits Bankkonto sein "Okay" geben konnte. Leider hat der Anbieter seinen Etsy-Shop inzwischen aufgegeben, deshalb können wir Euch keinen direkten Link mehr dafür angeben.

Some time ago Birgit fell in love with a cupboard bed she spotted at Etsy. It even had a reasonable price even Birgit's bank account agreed with. We're sorry the seller closed his Etsy-shop in the meantime, so we can't include a link anymore.
           

           

Birgit hatte dieses Bett übrigens schon, bevor sie den neuen Turm hatte - und deshalb war natürlich großes Fracksausen angesagt nach dem ersten Trockenbau, ob das Teil überhaupt hineinpassen würde. Ja, tut es... ein Glück. Nun kann Mysteria de Spell in diesem Bett doch rundum schöne Träume haben. Wovon Bärchenhexen wohl träumen? Hmmm... bestimmt nicht von Erdbeeren so wie ich... *kicher*

Birgit already owned this bed before owning the new tower - so it was quite thrillig when she first drybuilt the tower if this piece would fit in it or not. Yes, it fits... what a relief. Now Mysteria de Spell can have sweet dreams in this bed. I wonder what kind of dreams beary witches might have? Hmmmm... probably not about strawberries like me... *giggle*

 

Mysteria wird auch ein schönes Sofa bekommen, einen netten, gemütlichen Platz zum Lesen. Das Sofa wird sich Birgit irgendwann noch einmal farblich etwas vornehmen, aber sie hat bereits Kissen genäht. Und weil es nicht ganz so einfach ist, Stoffe zu finden, die sowohl für Miniaturen UND für Bärchenhexen geeignet sind, hat Birgit aus ihrem reichhaltigen Fundus zwei kleine, identische Teppiche hervorgeholt. Auf dem Bild seht Ihr den einen Teppich noch im Urzustand und den anderen bereits zu einem netten Kissen verarbeitet. Sieht ein bisschen aus wie Gobelin oder Brokat, findet Ihr nicht auch? Zusammen mit dem Eulenkissen, das wir zu Ostern von Ulrike bekommen haben, wird das ein echt gemütliches Plätzchen werden.

Mysteria also will get a lovely settee, a nice, comfy place to read. Some day Birgit and her brushes might have a meeting with this settee but for now she has already sewn cushions. And because it isn't easy to find fabric that is suitable both for miniatures AND for beary witches Birgit took two, small miniature carpets from her stash. At the photo you can see one carpet in its original state and the other already being turned into a nice cushion. Looks a little bit like gobelin or brocade, doesn't it? Together with the owl cushion we received from Ulrike for Easter this is going to become a comfy place.

        
Und was gibt es ansonsten - nun, jede Menge! Birgit ist gerade dabei, ihre Pläne für die Innenwände des Hexenturms völlig über Bord zu werfen. *seufz* Tja, das ist eben manchmal so, in der Theorie erschien ihr das alles toll, aber in der Praxis... naja, das verbuchen wir eben mal wieder unter "Erfahrungen". *hihi* Aber demnächst kann ich Euch immerhin wie versprochen zeigen, was Birgit mit der Alufolie angestellt hat. Tja, und dann munkelt man auch etwas von einem neuen BiWuBärchen, das gerne irgendwann einmal fertig werden würde. Zum Glück für Birgit hat ihr UFO aber noch kein Gesicht, also auch noch keinen Mund um sich zu beklagen. Ihr merkt schon - Agent Flutterby wird demnächst wieder viel zu berichten haben... ;O)

And what's more - well, a lot of new things! Birgit just dropped her plans for the interior walls of the witch tower into the dustbin. *sigh* Well, you can't help it, sometimes things appear to be fantastic in theory but in reality... okay, we're going to book this under "experiences". *teehee* But soon I'm going to show to you - as promised - what Birgit did with that aluminum foil. Oh, and there's some rumour spreading about a new BiWuBeary that would like to be finished. Birgit is lucky enough that her WIP doesn't have a face yet, so it doesn't have a mouth either to complain. You may have noticed - Agent Flutterby will have lots of things to report in the next time... ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 145)

Hallo,

 

nun ist Ostern auch schon wieder eine Woche her... wie die Zeit immer vergeht! Und - habt Ihr all Eure Ostereier schon verputzt??? Glaubt es oder nicht, aber das Goldhäschen, das Flutterby letzte Woche beim Osterkaffeeklatschpost assistiert hat, ist tatsächlich noch am Leben. Das liegt allerdings nur daran, dass Birgit das Schokohäschen erst mal in Sicherheit gebracht hat, denn sie meinte, Fluby und wir alle hätten genug anderen Süßkram zu essen, da müsste das Hasi noch nicht dran glauben. Aber aufgeschoben ist ja bekanntlich nicht aufgehoben... *hihi*

... now Easter is one week away again... how time flies! And - did you already get rid of all your Easter eggs??? Believe it or not but the golden bunny that assisted Flutterby last week with his Easter-"Kaffeeklatsch"-post is still alive. Might be due to the fact that Birgit took the chocolate bunny to a safe place because she thought Fluby and all of us would have enough candy to eat so it shouldn't have to be doom day for the bunny so far. But as you know - to be postponed doesn't mean to be repealed... *teehee*

 

Abgesehen von den süßen Überlebenden vom Osterfest geht hier aber wieder alles seinen normalen Gang - und das bedeutet auch, dass wir wieder chronologisch in die Kaffeeklatschtasse hüpfen. Und deshalb ist heute DER Tag für mich! Es ist immer wieder toll, wenn man dran ist mit dem eigenen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch. Ich bin Sally und ich habe meinen Namen von meinem Fell, das auf den Bildern zwar immer leicht rosa rüberkommt, das aber tatsächlich ein Frosted Orange ist, das heißt mein Fell hat einen orangefarbigen Grund und einen weißen Flor - und das erinnert ein bisschen an Salzkristall, daher mein Name. Ich bin ja der einzigste BiWuBär mit extrem kleinen Augen, ich schaue mir die Welt aus nur 2 mm großen Augen an, während alle anderen es auf stolze 3 mm bringen (bis auf Azurro, der ist unser Großauge, der schaut aus 4 mm großen Riesenaugen). Nun, damals hat Birgit noch ein bisschen experimentiert - und durch mich hat sie halt gemerkt, dass zu klein auch nicht ganz das Richtige ist.

But apart from the sweet survivors of Easter everything is back to normal around here now - and this also means that we're hopping chronologically again into the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug. And that's why today is THE day for me! It's always great to host an own Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch". I am Sally and my name refers to my fur that does look slightly pink at the photos but is indeed a Frosted Orange whtich means that my fur has an orange backing and a white flor - thus reminding of salt Crystal, so that's where my name comes from. And I am the only BiWuBear with extreme small eyes, I'm looking at the world through eyes that are only 2 mm while the other have impressing 3 mm eyes (except for Azurro, he's our Big Eye, he's looking through 4 mm giant's eyes). Well, Birgit was still experimenting when bringing me to life - but she came to the conclusion that too small was not the right decision.

       

        

Aber seit die anderen nicht mehr behaupten, ich hätte mit anderen Ohren auch ein Schweinchen werden können (BiWuBären-Humor, unerhört... *grins*) kann ich damit richtig gut leben. Schließlich kann ich auch mit meinen kleinen Augen gut genug gucken, dass mir nirgendwo ein Bonscher entgeht... *kicher* Und ein schöner Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch - der entgeht mir natürlich gleich überhaupt nicht. Es gibt doch auch nichts Schöneres, um einen Sonntag abzurunden, oder? Und deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine tolle Woche - die wünsche ich Euch wie immer an dieser Stelle auch. Hoffen wir mal, dass es nun endlich, endlich richtig Frühling wird - obwohl, bei uns hat es Freitag noch in dicken Flocken geschneit. Allerdings ist es wenigstens nicht liegen geblieben, so dass Birgit und ihre Schneeschaufel sich im Moment überhaupt nichts zu sagen haben - und das ist doch schon mal was! *zwinker*

But since the others don't claim anymore I could have easily been turned into a piggie with different ears (bad case of BiWuBear humour... *grin*) I can live very comfy with that. And for sure even with my small eyes I can see good enough not to miss one single piece of candy around here... *giggle* And a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" - that's something I would never miss. Because there's nothing better to brighten up a Sunday than this, isn't it? So I'm wishing you loads of fun later on having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And a great week - that's what I'm wishing you on top as always. Let's hope spring will finally, finally come - although on Friday it was still snowing here with big flakes. To our relief the snow didn't stay on the ground, so Birgit and her snow shovel don't have to date each other since some days - well, that's some kind of relief for us! *wink*

Neues aus der Hexenküche

Hallo,

 

heute möchte ich Euch zeigen, was Birgit wieder für den neuen Hexenturm gewerkelt hat. Ihr erinnert Euch sicher - den Herd habe ich Euch bereits zeigen können. In der Zwischenzeit musste ich lernen, dass selbst Hexen vor so leidigen Dingen wie dem Abwasch nicht gefeit sind... sie haben es nur besser als unsereiner, weil sie sich Haushaltshilfen leisten können. *grins*

... today I'd like to show to you Birgit's latest work for the new witch tower. I think you still remember - I've been able to show you the stove already. In the meantime I had to learn that even witches have to care about boring stuff like washing the dishes... but they are on the luckier side than us because they can afford housekeepers. *grin*

 

Nun, es musste also neben dem Herd eine Spüle her. Und so hat Birgit sich wiederum einen Holzrohling besorgt - das Teil werden bestimmt einige von Euch kennen.

So, it was about time for a sink after the stove was done. And so Birgit bought another piece made of barewood - I'm convinced some of you will recognize this piece.

       

       

Jetzt müsst Ihr schon genauer hinschauen, um den Unterschied zu eben erkennen zu können. Birgit hat etliche Kerben in das Holz geschnitten, um die Spüle auf alt zu trimmen. Und außerdem hat sie für die Ablageflächen oben zwei kleine Rahmen aus Karton zugeschnitten. Und nicht zu vergessen - den Sockel unten hat sie auch noch abgetrennt, das Teil war vorher ein bisschen zu hoch.

Now you'll have to look closer to spot the difference. Birgit carved notches into the wood to make it look old and used. And she also cut two little frames out of cardboard for the storage space above. And not to forget - she also cut off the pedestial because with this the whole piece has been a little bit too tall.

     

      

Nun war es Zeit für die Farbe!

Und danach gab's eine ganze Menge Birgit-Touch oben drauf!

And after that a lot of Birgit's special touch was attached!

    

     

Nun erklärt sich auch, warum Birgit die Rahmen gebastelt hat - die Kacheln hätten sonst auf der Ablagefläche hoch gestanden. Genau, es sind richtige gebrannte Mini-Kacheln! Aber das war natürlich noch nicht alles, es mussten noch ein paar Details zugefügt werden.

Now you know why Birgit made those frames - the tiles had been too high to fit without them. Yes, those are real burnt mini tiles! But this was not all, there were some details that had to be added still.

        

         

Also, ich find's klasse. Irgendwie bleibt Birgit dem "Witchy Chic" treu. Es sind übrigens vier Fledermäuse zu sehen, Nummer vier hat sein Plätzchen direkt unter der Kupferspüle gefunden. Und hier könnt Ihr die neue Spüle noch mal zusammen mit dem Herd sehen:

I really like it that way. Somehow Birgit is keeping up to making "Witchy Chic". Btw there are four bats to be found on it, No. 4 found its place directly beyond the copper sink. And here you can see the new sink together with the stove:

       

         

Ein hübsches Paar, oder? *kicher* Na, ich bin gespannt, was Birgit als Nächstes machen wird... im Moment hantiert sie sehr viel mit Alufolie rum... hmmm... nun, ich verspreche Euch: Agent Flutterby wird Augen und Ohren offen halten! ;O)

Willkommen im April

Hallo,

 

ich hoffe, Ihr hattet schöne Ostertage! Wir in Deutschland haben ja zwei Osterfeiertage, deshalb komme ich erst heute zu unserer allmonatlichen Kalenderaktualisierung. Denn natürlich habe ich - Gentlebär, der ich nun mal bin - auch diesmal wieder meine Birgit tatkräftig mit ihren Kalendern unterstützt.
... I hope you've all spent a great Easter weekend! Here in Germany we celebrate two days of Easter, that's why I had to wait until today with our every-month update of the calendars. For sure I - being the gentlebear that I am - was once more a big help for my Birgit with her calendars.

 

Unser Sprüchekalender kommt uns diesmal mit einem sehr schönen Frühlingsbild. Ach ja... Grün, blauer Himmel und unzählige Blüten... *seufz* Davon sind wir weit entfernt - aber immerhin, seit dem Wochenende scheint die Sonne und taut über Tag Etliches von dem blöden weißen Zeug weg, und geschneit hat es seit Tagen auch nicht mehr (Jipppppiiiiiiieeeeee!!!), dafür friert es aber immer noch heftig. Aber lieber Frost als Schnee... nun aber wieder zum Kalender und dem Spruch für April, was haben wir denn da... "Am Baum des Ernstes ist die Heiterkeit die Blüte" von Ferruccio Busoni.

Hmmm... komische Aussage... das mit der Heiterkeit und der Blüte sehe ich ja ein... aber Baum des Ernstes... naja, ich bin ja ein kleines Flatterbärchen und ein Gentlebär obendrein, das reicht, da muss man nicht alles verstehen. *grins*
Our wisdom calendar shows a lovely springtime picture now. My... green, blue sky and many, many blossoms... *sigh* We're still far away from that - but at least since the weekend the sun is shining and melts during the day some of that damn white stuff and since some days it wasn't snowing anymore (Hooorrrrraaayyyyy!!!); nevertheless it's still very frosty outside. But better frost than snow... but now back to the calendar and the saying for April, let's have a look (as always I'm not going to quote but trying to say it in my own poor English), it's a phrase from Ferruccio Busoni saying at the tree of severity cheerfulness is the blossom. Hmmm... strange statement... I agree as far as the cheerfulness and blossom are concerned.. but about the tree of severity... well, I'm just a little flutterybeary and a gentlebear on top, that's enough for me, so I don't have to understand everything. *grin*
       

         

Da halte ich es dann doch lieber mit dem amerikanischen Philosophen William James, der gesagt hat: "Die Kunst der Weisheit besteht darin, zu wissen, was man übersehen muss." Ha, bin ich denn dann ein weises Bärchen, wenn ich weiß, dass ich das mit dem Baum des Ernstes übersehen muss, weil ich es nicht verstehe? Nun, der englische Philosoph und Dichter Samuel Coleridge hat festgestellt: "Gesunder Menschenverstand in ungewöhnlichem Maße ist das, was die Welt Weisheit nennt." Ob das auch für gesunden Bärchenverstand gilt? Nun ja... halten wir uns lieber an einen praktischen Tipp von Raoul Follereau: "Glücklich sein bedeutet: Andere glücklich machen."
I prefer what American philosopher William James said about the art of wisdom is knowing what has to be overlooked. My, so am I a wise beary because I know I have to overlook that business with the tree of severity that I don't understand? Well, English writer and philosopher Samuel Coleridge claimed a big amount of common sense is what usually is regarded as wisdom by the world. Hopefully this fits for beary sense, too?! Okay... maybe we'd better cling to something practical as stated by Raoul Follereau who said being happy means making others happy.

Bevor ich Euch aber wie gewohnt einen schönen Monat wünschen kann, muss ich noch erwähnen, dass Daria von Mini Baby Steps ganz nett an uns gedacht hat und uns vorgeschlagen hat, um bei einem Fragespiel mitzumachen. Da soll man drei Fragen beantworten und wiederum drei Fragen stellen und an drei andere Blogger weiter geben. Nun, weiter geben tun wir das wie immer nicht - aber Darias Fragen werden wir gerne beantworten. Übrigens ist Daria noch recht neu in Blogland, aber sie macht schöne Miniaturen und ein Besuch bei ihr lohnt sich. Mir bärsönlich haben (Quelle surprise!) ihre Minibären besonders gut gefallen. *schmunzel* Also, los geht's mit Darias Fragen:

You have to answer three questions and should ask yourself three questions to other bloggers you nominate yourself. Well, as usual we won't do this - but we would like to answer Daria's questions. Btw Daria is still fresh in blogland, she makes lovely miniatures and her blog is worth a visit. Bearsonally (Quelle surprise!) I liked her minibears very much. *smile* So, on we go with Daria's questions:
     

         
1. Hast Du je daran gedacht, Deine Werkeleien zu verkaufen (oder hast es bereits getan?)
Ja, manche BiWuBären sind tatsächlich käuflich, und hin und wieder verkauft Birgit mal einen, entweder über ihren Nebenblog, die BiWuBären-Homepage, oder über eb*y - aber am Tollsten ist es, wenn sie ab und an mal eine Anfrage für einen BiWuBären bekommt. Da Birgit aber nie sehr viele Bärchen stichelt, ist das mit dem Verkaufen nur "Just for fun".
1. Have you ever thought of selling your crafts (or perhaps you already did)?
Well, some of us BiWuBearies are for sale and every now and then Birgit sells one, either via her sideblog, the BiWuBear's Homepage, or via eb*y - but it's always the biggest honor to get a commission. But due to the fact that Birgit never sews a lot of bearies selling is for her "just for fun".

2. Hast Du in Deinem Umfeld Freunde und Bekannte, die Du auch mit dem Minivirus infiziert hast?
Einfache Antwort - nein, deshalb mögen wir Blogland ja so gern, denn da kann man keinen anstecken, die sind schon infiziert! *lach*
2. Do you have any friends around you who also got "infected" with minis after you?
A simple answer - no, that's why we like blogland this much because here we can't infect noone anymore because they already are infected! *LOL*

3. Hast Du je Gewissensbisse, wenn Du beim Basteln die Zeit vergisst und darüber z. B. Deine Haushaltspflichten verletzt?
Also, damit hat meine Birgit überhaupt keine Probleme... da ist sie auch diszipliniert, was gemacht werden muss, wird gemacht... und ansonsten muss man ja nicht immer soooo genau hinsehen... *flöööt*
3. Do you ever feel guilty about neglecting household or other duties because you've spent too much time with crafting?
Well, my Birgit doesn't care about that at all... she's quite straight about things that have to be done... and as for the rest... one doesn't have to look that close, right... *tweeeet*

So, das war das - und nun wünsche ich Euch einen tollen April, der uns hoffentlich endlich mit dem langersehnten Frühling verwöhnt. Und ich werde gleich mal anwenden, was ich eben gelernt habe. Ich werde Birgit ganz im Sinne von Follereau vorschlagen, dass sie doch bestimmt gerne glücklich sein möchte und dass sie das ganz einfach erreichen kann, indem sie mich mit einer schönen Honigmilch glücklich macht! *zwinker*
So much for that - and now I'm wishing to all of you a great April that will hopefully spoil all of us with long awaited spring. And I'm going to use what I've just learnt. Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 144)

Hallo,

 

wie immer am Ostersonntag gibt es heute einen besonderen Kaffeeklatsch - ganz ohne Kaffeeklatschtasse und auch nicht chronologisch. Stattdessen steigt das Blogbärchen bärsönlich in eine Eierschale, um Euch "Frohe Ostern!" zu wünschen. Nun, dieses Jahr habe ich mir auch noch Verstärkung von diesem Goldhäschen hier geholt... wenn der wüsste, dass seine Stunden gezählt sind... *höhö*

... as always at Easter Sunday we celebrate a very special "Kaffeeklatsch" today - without our "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug and without any chronology. Instead of this the blogbeary bearsonally climbs into an eggshell to wish to all of you "Happy Easter!" Well, this year I also got a little support from this golden bunny here... if only he knew that time is running out of him... *teehee*

       

               

Aber auch wenn wir mit dem heutigen Foto dem Feiertag huldigen und deshalb unsere kleine Kaffeeklatschtradition ausnahmsweise brechen - das heißt aber noch lange nicht, dass nachher ein schöner Ostersonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch nicht eine absolut hervorragende Idee wäre. Ostern hin oder her - Kaffeeklatsch geht immer. Und deshalb wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Ostersonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Ostersonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und natürlich wünsche ich Euch wie immer an dieser Stelle eine schöne Woche - aber diesmal liegt mir natürlich ganz besonders am Herzen, Euch - auch im Namen von Birgit und allen BiWuBären - Folgendes zu wünschen:

Although we're celebrating today's holiday with our photo and are breaking our little "Kaffeeklatsch"-routine a little bit - but that doesn't mean at all that a nice Eastersundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" wouldn't be a great idea. Easter or not Easter - "Kaffeeklatsch" always rules. So I'm wishing you loads of fun later on having one, two cups of tasty Eastersundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Eastersundayafternooncake. And as usually I'm wishing to you a great week on top - but this time I'd like to wish to you from the bottom of my heart - and also in the name of Birgit and all BiWuBearies:

Weihnachten im März? - Teil 2

Hallo,

 

wie versprochen (oder wie angedroht - das liegt bei Euch *hihi*) geht es nun weiter mit all den wunderbaren Geschenken, die Birgit und mich vor Ostern erreicht haben. Hui, was wurden wir verwöhnt. Beginnen möchte ich heute mit einem tollen Ü-Paket von der lieben Sandra alias SaMiRa - da war unter anderem dieses Schild drin:

... as promised (or as threatened - that's up to you *teehee*) we continue now with showing the gorgeous presents Birgit and I received before Easter. Wow, we've been spoiled rotten. Today I'd like to start with the fantastic surprise packet dear Sandra aka SaMiRa sent us - among other items we found this sign in it:
          

         

Da habe ich mal wieder festgestellt, dass das Leben nicht immer fair ist. Über dieses Schild hat Birgit sich riesig gefreut - aber was meint Ihr wohl was los wäre, wenn ich mal so was laut sagen würde??? Huh... da müsste ich aber hinterher barfuß ins Bett... aber das Schild findet sie klasse. Findet Ihr das gerecht? *kicher* Aber natürlich war das Schild nicht alles, was Sandra uns geschickt hat... zunächst einmal hat sie lieb an mich gedacht, dass mir auch ja nicht die Erdbeerschokovorräte ausgehen können.

So once more I had to notice that life is not always fair. Birgit was over the moon with this sign - but what do you think would happen if I would ever dare to say something like this aloud??? My... she would send me to bed barefooted... but the sign is allowed to say this. Do you think that's fair? *giggle* But of course this sign wasn't everything Sandra sent us... and she did not forget about me and made sure I won't run out of strawberry chocolate.

      

        
Hach... na, die Ostertage werde ich damit wohl überstehen, wenn ich mich ein klein wenig einschränke... Aber dann waren da ja auch noch diese geheimnisvolle Schachtel, die hübsche Tüte und natürlich eine liebe Karte.

Well, it will help me through the days of Easter if I'm very careful with this... But then there was still this mysterious box, the lovely bag and of course a nice card.

         

       
In der Tüte waren lauter wunderschöne Kleinigkeiten: Vogelhäuschen-Lasercuts, zwei winzige Fledermäuse, ein tolles verzaubertes Vogelnest (Oder sind das etwa Dracheneier? Da muss ich mal Magica de Spell fragen) und dann dieses kleine Päckchen hier, auf dem die Worte stehen, die neben dem Wort "Erdbeeren" zu den schönsten der Welt gehören: Für Fluby!
The bag was hiding fantastic stuff: Lasercut birdhouses, two teenytiny bats, a beautiful enchanted birdsnest (Or are these dragon eggs? I'd better ask Magica de Spell about that) and also this little packet with those words on it that belong to the most beautiful in the world next to "strawberries": To Fluby!

       

          
Für mich!!! Aber was da drin war, das zeige ich Euch später, erst mal galt es, jemanden aus der Schachtel zu befreien. Trommelwirbel bitte!
For me!!! But I'm going to show you the inside later, first it was imoportant to free someone out of that box. Drumroll please!

        

           
Unser eigener Hauself!!! Wie toll ist das denn????!!!! Sandra hat tatsächlich einen ihrer wunderbaren Hauselfen für den Hexenturm gemacht! Vinzenz heißt er und ist ein ganz schöner Charmeur, hatte sogar gleich einen Rosenstrauß für Birgit dabei. Und einen Putzeimer - da habe ich gleich mal vorsichtig angefragt, ob er mir beim Frühjahrsputz in Strawberry Cottage helfen könnte... *flööööt* Aber Vinzenz hatte noch etwas im Gepäck, was er mir ganz stolz gezeigt hat:
Our own house elf!!! How great is that????!!!! Sandra made one of her stunning house elves for the Witch Tower! Vinzenz is his name and he's a little prince charming, he even brought some flowers for Birgit with him. And a cleaning basket - so I asked if he would like to help me with the springtime cleaning of Strawberry Cottage... *tweeeeet* But Vinzenz brought something more with him which he proudly showed to me:
           

          

Eine gefilzte Erdbeere! *seufz* Ach ja, Erdbeeren... rote, süße, aromatische, saftige Erdbeeren... ach... äh... wo war ich... genau, ich wollte mich bedanken: Vielen Dank, liebe Sandra, für dieses megatolle Üüüüü - damit hast Du zumindest Birgit aus den Socken gehauen (Ich trage ja gar keine *höhö*). Und keine Bange, der leicht fröstelige Vinzenz muss auch nicht zur Schneeschaufel greifen! ;O)
A felted strawberry! *sigh* Oh my, strawberries... red, sweet, aromatic, juicy strawberries... my... eh... where was I... right, I was going to say "Thanks" to Sandra!

 

Ein weiteres Ü erreichte uns von einer stillen Blogleserin - das hat uns auch umgehauen. Da schreibt uns die liebe Heike, sie wolle sich gern bei uns bedanken, dass wir sie über unseren Blog an der Welt der Miniaturen teilhaben lassen. Wie nett - in jeder Beziehung!
We received another surprise packet from a silent blog reader - absolutely unexpected. Dear Heike wrote to us she would like to thank us for bringing the world of miniatures to her via our blog! How kind - in every way!

          

       
Vielen Dank liebe Heike, die Überraschung ist Dir gelungen - darüber haben wir uns sehr gefreut!

 

Und noch ein Geschenk haben wir bekommen, von unserer lieben Freundin Melli... da sind allerdings nicht nur Freudentränen geflossen. Das ist nicht nur ein Geschenk von Melli, sondern auch von unserem Freund Manuel, der beschlossen hatte, dass dieser bildschöne junge Mann bei Birgit am Besten aufgehoben wäre.
And we received another present, from our dear friend Melli... and this one caused not only tears of joy. It was not only a present of Melli but also of our friend Manuel who had decided that this handsome young guy should find his home at Birgit's.
     

            

Das hier ist Black Rusty - und er sollte eigentlich mal das Abbild werden von einem wunderschönen braunen Shagya-Araber namens Rusty. Aber zum ersten Mal wollte die Modelliermasse nicht so wie Melli und Birgit hat damals immer gesagt: Nimm ein Beil, hack' den Kopf ab und vergiss den Rest.
This is Black Rusty - once he was supposed to be a copy of a beautiful bay Shagya-Arabian called Rusty. But somehow for the first time ever the polymer clay had other intentions than Melli and Birgit had always said to her: Take an ax, chop away the head and forget about the rest.

              

Nun, das hat Melli dann getan und Manu hat beschlossen, dass daraus nun ein Rappe werden soll, weil Birgit seit Kindertagen ein Faible für Rappen hat. Keiner von uns konnte ahnen, dass das ein Abschiedsgeschenk werden würde - denn Manu ist Ende Januar tödlich verunglückt.
Well, that's what Melli finally did and Manu decided he should be coloured black now because he knew Birgit has a faible for black horses since her childhood days. Noone of us could expect it would become a goodbye present - it was end of January when Manu died in a car accident.

Zeit für einen schnellen Themawechsel - Ihr seid doch sicher neugierig, was in dem Päckchen von Sandra war, das nur für mich bestimmt war? Dachte ich mir doch - ja, Sandra hat gewusst, was sie für mich einpacken musste:

Eine Erdbeertorte nur für mich!!! Ach, ich bin eben doch das glücklichste Flatterbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt - und wohl auch das mit den meisten und tollsten Geschenken! Aber wisst Ihr, was auch jedes Mal ein tolles Geschenk ist? Jeder einzelne Kommentar von Euch! ;O)
A strawberry cake just for me!!! My, I am indeed the most happiest flutterybeary in the whole wide world - and probably also the one with the most exciting presents! But do you know what else is a gift to me every single time? Every comment you leave here! ;O)
