Der BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt 2013 - Teil 1

Hallo,

 

wir haben diesen Post am Donnerstag Abend vorbereitet und bis dahin sind wir hier noch gut durch den Orkan gekommen... hoffen wir mal, dass das so bleibt und dass es insbesondere für die Nordseeküste nicht so schlimm wird wie befürchtet. Hoffen kann man ja mal... aber leider sind wir im Norden ja aus der Gefahr noch lange nicht raus und die Sturmflut wird kommen.

... we have prepared this post Thursday evening and until then we've passed the hurricane without any damages here... let's hope that this will last and that especially the North Sea coast won't get that much attacked as we all fear. At least we can hope... but sadly we in the North aren't still out of the danger zone and the storm flood is about to come.

 

Viele Kinder hatten am Donnerstag bereits schulfrei und am Freitag sollen bei uns in Schleswig-Holstein alle Kinder zu Hause bleiben - und auch die Weihnachtsmärkte haben aus Sicherheitsgründen zugemacht. Nur der BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt - der hat trotz Orkan noch offen gehabt...wir lassen uns von dem furchtbaren Wetter hier im sicheren Wohnzimmer nicht unterkriegen! Habt Ihr Lust, mich auf einen kleinen Bummel zu begleiten?

Many children already had a school-free Thursday and at Friday all kids have to stay at home in our county Schleswig-Holstein (we live in the very North of Germany, above from Hamburg) - and due to security reasons the Christmas Markets are closed everywhere. But the BiWuBear Christmas Market is still open despite the hurricane... we won't surrender to this horrible weather being here in the safe living room! Would you like to come along with me on a little tour?

          

           

Na, dann los! Wie Ihr hier auf dem Panoramafoto sehen könnt, herrscht auf unserem Markt immer reges Treiben.

Okay, let's go! As you can see on that panorama view there's always a lot of business going on at our Market.
       

           

Aber als erfahrenes Blogbärchen habe ich natürlich bereits vor dem bärigen Kundenansturm meine Rundgang-Reportage vorbereitet - nur so kann ich Euch die einzelnen Buden in aller Ruhe zeigen. Wir beginnen unseren Rundgang auf der rechten Seite mit der Bude, die "Glashütte" heißt und in der wunderschöne Glasfiguren verkauft werden.

But being an experienced blogbeary I have prepared the pictures for my tour report long ago before all the beary customers filled the Market - so I'm able to show you every single stall without any problems. We're starting our tour at the right side with the stall that's called "Glashütte" (means glassworks, workshops where hot glass is blown into its form). Here they're selling beautiful glass figurines.

Ja, diese Bude ist immer ein guter Tipp für alle, die noch ein Weihnachtsgeschenk suchen... *schmunzel* Aber natürlich wird hier auch Weihnachtsschmuck verkauft:

Yes, this stall is always a good advice for anybody who's still searching for a Christmas gift... *smile* But of course they're selling Christmas decorations, too:

       

          

Hier wird für jeden Geschmack etwas geboten, egal ob der Weihnachtsbaum eher traditionell oder trendig geschmückt werden soll. Aber auf so einem Weihnachtsmarkt will man natürlich nicht nur Geschenke und Weihnachtsdeko kaufen, auch das leibliche Wohl darf nicht zu kurz kommen. Da unterscheidet sich unser BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt aber sehr von denen der Menschen, bei uns gibt's nämlich keine Bratwurst usw. - bei uns gibt es nur Süßes! *schleck* Naja, wir Bärchen haben ja auch nie Hüftprobleme... *lach*... und deshalb ist die "Weihnachtsbäckerei" auch immer eine wirklich gut besuchte Bude.

Here you can find something for any taste, whether you'd like your Christmas tree being decorated the traditional or the trendy way. But of course a Christmas Market is not only for buying gifts and Christmas decoration, it's also about filling your stomache the yummy way. But our BiWuBear Christmas Market is quite different from the ones of the human beings, you won't find "Bratwurst" and this kind of stuff around here - here you'll only get sweets! *yummy* Well, we bearies are lucky to never have to struggle with hip problems... *LOL*.. and that's why the "Weihnachtsbäckerei" (= Christmas bakery) is always a well-visited stall.
              

               

Ah, so viele Leckereien... da läuft mir gleich wieder das Wasser im Schnäuzchen zusammen... Einige von den Leckereien hat Birgit übrigens selbst gemacht, aber das eine oder andere schöne Stück hat sie auch gekauft. Und weil wir BiWuBärchen bekanntermaßen immer für einen Kaffeeklatsch zu haben sind, gibt's hier zum Kuchen natürlich auch eine Tasse Kaffee dazu.

Ah, so many sweet treats... this is really watering my little snout... Some of those treats were made by Birgit but she also bought some lovely pieces. And because we BiWuBearies - as you all know - never say no to a nice "Kaffeeklatsch" you can get a nice cup of coffee along with your cake here.
           

             

Auch auf dem Extrastand nehmen die süßen Versuchungen kein Ende... da könnte man sich normalerweise kaum entscheiden, denn das sieht alles so lecker aus... Aber ich brauche da nun nicht lange zu überlegen, für mich müsste es natürlich die Torte mit den Erdbeeren sein... Ach ja, Erdbeeren... süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *hach* Aber mir fällt gerade auf, dass da deutlich was von der Schokodeko fehlt... äh... *räusper*
And also this extra table offers sweet temptations... usually one would have difficulties to decide because everything looks so tasty... But of course I don't have to think long about my choice, for me it has to be the strawberry cake... Oh my, strawberries... sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries... *sigh* But now I'm just noticing that there's something missing of the chocolate decoration... eh... *clears-his-throat*

Was meint Ihr - ob der Weihnachtsmann mir das glaubt? Und auch nicht ganz so unwichtig - ob Birgit mir das glaubt? Oje, oje... die Weihnachtszeit ist zwar schön, aber doch auch anstrengend - man muss schon sehr aufpassen, dass man sich keine Minuspunkte im Goldenen Buch des Weihnachtsmanns einhandelt... Andererseits... wenn ich das gewesen wäre, dann würde jetzt nicht die Schokolade fehlen! ;O)
What do you think - will Santa believe in me? And very important too - will Birgit believe me? Oh my... Christmas time is for sure wonderful but also quite exhausting - you always have to take care not to get any bad points in the Golden Book of Santa... But on the other hand... if it had been me, than we wouldn't have to talk about missing chocolate! ;O)

Don't get blown away and have a lovely weekend! Oh - and I nearly forgot: Best wishes for Santa Claus' Day - I hope your boots have been filled well (Here in Germany we celebrate on Dec 6th the Day of Saint Nikolaus aka Santa Claus - the children put one of their boots before the door and if they've been good they'll find sweets and tangerines and nuts and gifts in it at the morning... and if they've been bad they only find a piece of coal)

Willkommen im Dezember - XXL

Hallo,

 

unsere Lady Carlotta sollte letzten Sonntag ihren ganz eigenen Kaffeeklatsch präsentieren dürfen, deshalb kann ich Euch erst heute zeigen, was unser Sprüchekalender für uns parat gehalten hat. Aber eines ist ja klar, trotz Weihnachtsmarkt und Advent habe ich es mir nicht nehmen lassen, meiner Birgit bei der Aktualisierung ihrer zahlreichen Kalender zu helfen. Und so viel vorweg - im Dezember gibt es da ja noch mehr zu helfen, ich sage nur "Adventskalender"! Und die gilt es ja sogar täglich zu aktualiseren... Aber nun ans Werk - vielleicht kann ich noch ein paar Last-Minute-Punkte im Goldenen Buch des Weihnachtsmannes gut machen... *schluck* Unser Sprüchekalender kommt uns diesen Monat mit einem Spruch von Voltaire: "Die größte und einzige Aufgabe ist es, das Leben glücklich zu gestalten."

... we wanted our Lady Carlotta to host her very own "Kaffeeklatsch" last Sunday so I had to wait until today to show you what our wisdom calendar has in store for us. No doubt, despite enjoying Christmas Market and Advent it was a question of honour to me helping my Birgit once more with updating her many calendars. And let's remember - December means even more work to do, I only throw the word "advent calendar" in! And those even need to be updated daily... But now let's start - maybe I'm able to make some additional last minute good points in Santa's Big Golden Book this way... *gulp* Our wisdom calendar offers us a saying by Voltaire this month (as always I'm not trying to quote but try to say it in my own poor English), he said the biggest and only task would be trying to make our lives happy.

              

          

Ja, das ist ein sehr schöner Spruch - gerade für diese besondere Zeit, die für viele auch mit Stress verbunden ist. Warum eigentlich - wir Bärchen verstehen das überhaupt nicht... weniger ist manchmal mehr (außer bei Erdbeeren... ach ja, süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *hach*... aber das ist ein anderes Thema). Die Weihnachtszeit sollte doch nicht stressig sein, sondern schön und besinnlich und natürlich glücklich (da bin ich ganz bei Herrn Voltaire) und vor allem aber auch fröhlich. Schließlich wünschen wir uns in allen Sprachen FRÖHLICHE Weihnachten, oder? Also lasst uns die Weihnachtszeit genießen und nicht auf Geschenkejagd gehen, sondern nur schenken, nicht weil wir es müssen sondern weil wir es möchten und weil wir jemandem eine Freude machen wollen. Ganz im Sinne von Theodor Fontane, der so treffend formuliert hat: "Glücklich machen ist das größte Glück." Und Georges Bernanos hat es so auf den Punkt gebracht: "Seine Freude in der Freude des anderen finden können, das ist das Geheimnis des Glücks."

Yes, that's a nice saying - especially during this special time where many people get easily stressed. But why - we bearies really don't get this... less is often more (except when strawberries are concerned... oh my, sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries... *sigh*... but that's another topic). Christmas season shouldn't be about stress but it should be nice and peaceful and for sure happy (I really do agree with Mr. Voltaire in this point) and above all merry. Let's remember that in all languages we're wishing each other a MERRY Christmas, don't we? So let's enjoy the Christmas season without going on a quest for gifts, let's only give because we want to and not because we must and because we want to make someone happy. Right in the spirit of Theodor Fontane who said making someone happy ist the biggest happiness of all. And Georges Bernanos said finding your joy in the joy of someone else is the secret of happiness.

 

So gesehen müssten eigentlich zwei liebe Blogfreunde von uns jetzt sehr glücklich sein, denn die haben uns mit wunderbaren Üs überrascht und uns damit sehr glücklich gemacht. Die Erste war unsere liebe Silke, die uns ein Päckchen schickte, das wir erst am 1. Dezember aufmachen durfte. Was glaubt Ihr wohl, was drin war? *schmunzel* Klar, ein Adventskalender - aber nicht irgendeiner... dieser hier:

Regarding this two dear blogfriends of ours are supposed to be very happy now because they surprised us with two lovely surprise packets and made us very happy with this. The first came from our dear Silke who sent us a parcel that was not supposed to be opened before December 1st. And what would you expect to be in it? *smile* For sure, an advent calendar - but not just anyone... this one:

               

          

Ein Adventskalender von Marjolein Bastin - Birgit mag diese wunderbare niederländische Künstlerin sehr und hat jedes Jahr einen großen Kalender von ihr im Flur hängen. Das hat Silke sich gemerkt und gezielt nach einem Bastin-Adventskalender für Birgit gesucht - wie toll ist das denn? Und nun können wir jeden Tag ein neues tolles Bild entdecken:

An advent calendar by Marjolein Bastin - Birgit likes this great Dutch artist very much and has one of her calendars every year hanging in the corridor. Silke had kept this in mind and had especially chosen a Bastin-advent calendar for Birgit - how great is that? And now we can discover a lovely picture every day:

                   

           

Liebe Silke - auch von dieser Stelle aus noch einmal ganz herzlichen Dank für diese wunderbare Überraschung... wir haben uns ganz riesig darüber gefreut *RührungstränchenausdenAugenwisch*

 

Die Zweite, die lieb an uns gedacht hat, war das Tinchen, von dem wir gestern ein Päckchen bekommen haben. Und darin war *Trommelwirbel* ein Adventskalender - und zwar einer von einem anderen wunderbaren niederländischen Zeichner, Hans de Beer, mit Lars, dem kleinen Eisbären.

The second one thinking so kindly of us was Tinchen who sent us a packet yesterday. And inside we found *drumroll* an advent calendar - and one of another gorgeous Dutch illustrator, Hans de Beer, showing Lars, the little polar bear.

            

        

Unnötig zu sagen, dass das MEIN Adventskalender ist - Birgit darf den von Silke aufmachen... *hihi*  Aber das war noch nicht alles, in dem Päckchen war auch noch ein Geschenk!

Not necessary to point out that this is now MY advent calendar - Birgit is allowed to open the one from Silke... *teehee* But that wasn't still all that's been in the packet because there was another gift, too!

          

            

Wir haben dann erst mal geschaut, ob irgendwo etwas steht von wegen "nicht vor Weihnachten öffnen" oder so - aber zu meiner großen Erleichterung fand sich da nichts! Jippiiiieeee... also fix das Geschenkpapier beseitigt et voilá:

We had a close look whether there would be a note saying "Do not open before Christmas" or something like that - but to my big relief we found nothing like this! Yippiiieee... so getting rid of the wrapping paper in a wink of an eye et voilà:

            

               

Ein superschöner Erdbeerbecher!!! Das Tinchen hat uns geschrieben, den hat sie im Urlaub auf Mallorca entdeckt und musste sofort an uns denken... *hach*

A beautiful strawberry mug!!! Tinchen has written she found it while spending her holidays at Mallorca and that she had to think of us at once... *sigh*

 

Liebe Martina, auch an Dich noch einmal vielen, vielen Dank für dieses tolle Ü... so eine Freude! *strahl*

 

Allerdings wäre es im Moment nicht möglich, diesen Becher für unsere Kaffeeklatschposts zu nutzen... da er gut gefüllt ist, könnte da im Moment niemand reinklettern. Aber ganz ehrlich... Probleme sind doch nur Lösungen im Arbeitsanzug - und hier liegt die Lösung ganz klar auf der Pfote: Ich mache den Becher leer... und mit diesem Stück Erdbeerschokolade fange ich an... *yummy*

But at the moment it wouldn't be possible to use this mug for our "Kaffeeklatsch"-posts... it is filled so well that noone would be able to climb in. But honestly speaking... problems are just solutions in working clothes - and in this case the solution is right at paw: I'm going to make this mug empty... and I'm starting with this piece of strawberry chocolate... *yummy*

         

            

Habe ich eigentlich schon mal erwähnt, dass ich das glücklichste Flatterbärchen auf der ganzen weiten Welt bin? Ach, habe ich? Gelegentlich... so ab und zu? Na, dann ist ja gut... *lach* Ich wünsche Euch allen einen wunderschönen Dezember - und denkt an Voltaire... es geht um's Glücklichsein... ;O)

Did I ever mention that I am the happiest flutterybeary in the whole wide world? Ah, I did? Sometimes... every now and then? Well, that's okay... *LOL* I'm wishing to all of you a wonderful December - and remember Voltaire... it's all about being happy... ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 179)

Hallo,

 

nun ist es endlich so weit - der erste der vier so besonderen Sonntage vor Weihnachten ist da. Und ich freue mich ganz besonders, dass mir die Ehre zuteil geworden ist, den Kaffeeklatsch am 1. Advent präsentieren zu dürfen. Habt Ihr denn auch schon das erste Türchen an Eurem Adventskalender aufgemacht? Nun, letztes Jahr haben Birgits Eltern mich als 1. Geschenk im Adventskalender vorgefunden, und so kommt es nicht ganz von ungefähr, dass ich heute in die Kaffeeklatschtasse klettern durfte (und glaubt mir, das ist gar nicht so einfach für eine Snow Lady wie mich... klettert Ihr mal ohne Beine... *kicher*)

... now the time has come - the first of these so very special four Sundays before Christmas has come. And I am so glad having the honour to present the "Kaffeeklatsch" at the 1st Advent. And - did you open the first door of your advent calendar already? Well, last year Birgit's parents have found me being the first gift in their advent calendar and so it's not a coincidence that I was allowed to climb into the "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug today (and believe me, climbing ist not that easy for a Snow Lady like me... just try to climb without having legs... *giggle*)

               

             

Seid Ihr denn pünktlich fertig geworden mit Eurer Weihnachtsdeko und allem, was Ihr Euch zum Beginn der Adventszeit vorgenommen habt? Nun, Birgit hat alles pünktlich geschafft. Natürlich hat sie zig-mal gestöhnt, dass sie viel zu viel Weihnachtsgedönse hat, aber das gehört zu den adventlichen Vorbereitungen bei uns einfach dazu... *lach* Und nachher werden dann auch endlich all die Lichter leuchten - denn Birgit ist da ganz traditionell, sie sagt immer, alles muss seine Zeit haben, und die Weihnachtszeit beginnt nun mal mit dem 1. Advent. Auch der BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt wurde nun endlich offiziell eröffnet... *freu* Nun, Flutterby wird Euch demnächst ja auf den einen oder anderen Bummel über unseren Weihnachtsmarkt mitnehmen, aber ich darf Euch heute schon mal das erste Bild zeigen:

Did you manage to finish your Christmas decoration just in time and everything else you've planned to have done before Christmas season begins? Well, Birgit had everything ready in time. Of course she was sighing many times about having far too much Christmas stuff, but around here we all know that this is a mandatory part of the preparations for Advent... *LOL* And later this day all the lights will shine - Birgit handles this very traditionally, she always says everything must have its own time and Christmas season only begins with the 1st Advent. And the BiWuBear Christmas Market will have its official grand opening today... *beamswithjoy* Well, Flutterby will show you around during the next days but I am allowed to show you the very first picture of this year's BiWuBear Christmas Market:

             

             

Wie Ihr seht, ist der Markt wie immer richtig gut besucht... ach, endlich liegt wieder der Duft von Punsch und Kaffee und Weihnachtsplätzchen und Kuchen und Süßigkeiten in der Luft... für uns heute der perfekte Ort für unseren Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch. Aber egal ob auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt oder im heimischen Wohnzimmer im Schein der ersten Adventskerze - so ein Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch im Advent ist doch einfach was ganz Feines. Und genau dabei wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß - bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagsadventskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagsadventskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche wünsche ich Euch wie immer an dieser Stelle natürlich auch!

As you can see there are already lots of visitors... ah, finally the lovely smell of mulled wine and coffee and Christmas cookies and cake and sweets fills the air... for us this is the perfect place for today's Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch". But it doesn't matter if you're visiting a Christmas Market or lightning the first advent candle in your own living room - in any case a Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" during Advent is a great thing. And for this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on, having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternoonadventcoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternoonadventcake. And of course I'm wishing to all of you a great week on top!

Was Kleines und was Großes

Hallo,

 

im heutigen Post muss ich mal was Kleines und was Großes unterbringen... Fangen wir mit dem Kleinen an - Birgit hat nämlich mal wieder ein bisschen gebutzelt, und das möchte ich Euch gerne zeigen. Schaut mal:

... in today's post I'll try to post about something small and something big... Let's start with the small stuff... Birgit has been crafting along once more and I'd like to show you the result. Have a look:

                

             

Eine kleine Winterszene auf einer Baumscheibe. Sogar mit winzig-kleinen Schneemännern! Und ich hoffe, man kann das erkennen - aber vor der Tür wurde sogar ein Weg frei geschaufelt. Typisch Birgit! *lach* Und wenn wir schon bei typisch Birgit sind - was weihnachtlich geht, das musste natürlich auch für Halloween gehen:

That is soooo Birgit! *LOL* And talking about being typical Birgit - what goes well for Christmas also had to go well for Halloween:

         

             

Könnt Ihr erkennen, dass die winzigen Kürbisse sogar Gesichter haben? Und bei dem gruseligen Baum bin ich ganz froh, dass ich so viel größer bin... *kicher* Übrigens ist das eine gute Überleitung, denn nach dem Kleinen kommt nun das Große - und das ist in dem Fall ein riesengroßer Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag! Heute hat nämlich unsere Nachteule Geburtstag, die man auch unter dem Namen Melli kennt! *zwinker* Und weil wir zum Glück Mellis Alter Ego bei uns zu Hause haben, konnten wir alle stellvertretend gratulieren:

And as far as this spooky tree is concerned I'm glad being that much bigger than him... *giggle* Talking about big - after the small comes the big - and in this case this means a VERY BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Today it's the Birthday of our Nightowl aka Melli! *wink* And because we're lucky to have Melli's alter ego here at home with us we're able to say our congratulations:

          

             

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag, liebe Nachteule! Wir wünschen Dir alles Liebe und einen wunderschönen Tag mit ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen Geburtstagskuchen aus der exklusiven Konditorei, artigen pelzigen Mitbewohnern und viel Spaß beim Geschenke-Auspacken! Wir (Fluby, das Karnickel, alle BiWuBärchen und natürlich auch die stille Blogleserin) sind froh, dass es Dich gibt!

 

Meine Birgit ist übrigens im Moment voll in Action - aber so langsam lichten sich die Kartons und Tüten mit Weihnachtsdeko und die Wohnung wird immer weihnachtlicher. Herrlich!!! Auch der Tisch für den BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt ist schon aufgebaut - einer pünktlichen Eröffnung am 1. Advent steht also nichts mehr im Weg... schön! Birgit wird bis dahin zwar noch weitere 100 mal stöhnen "Ich hab' einfach zu viel Weihnachtsgedönse..." - aber für mich gehört das untrennbar zum Beginn der Weihnachtszeit mit dazu, denn eines weiß ich genau - nächstes Jahr wird sie wieder darüber stöhnen... *lach*

Btw - at the moment my Birgit is busy as a bee - but one after all the boxes and bags with Christmas decoration get empty and our home looks more and more like Christmas. Wonderful!!! And even the table for the BiWuBear Christmas Market is already in place - looks good for a punctually grand opening at the 1st of Advent... great! Okay, until then Birgit will have sighed a 100 times more "I do have too much Christmas stuff for sure..." - but to me this is a must-have at the beginning of Christmas season, and one thing is pretty clear - next year she will be sighing again... *LOL*

Da war doch noch was...?

Birgit und ich hegen ja schon länger den Verdacht, dass die Tage im November deutlich weniger Stunden als die üblichen 24 haben... unglaublich, wie schnell dieser Monat vergangen ist! Oder geht das nur uns so? Nun, wir werden hoffentlich anhand der Kommentare sehen, was Ihr dazu meint. Allerdings, etwas positive Resonanz hat Birgit bereits bekommen. Und auch wenn es sich dabei nur um zwei Einzelmeinungen gehandelt hat...

Well, hopefully we will be able to read your opinion in your comments. Nevertheless Birgit already received positive response twice. And although these were only two individual opinions...

       

       

... aber dass diese beiden total begeistert von ihrem neuen Zuhause sind und sich richtig wohl fühlen, da war Birgit doch sehr erleichtert. Na, und inzwischen hat sie auch noch eine dritte positive Rückmeldung bekommen - denn MIR gefällt es auch richtig gut! ;O)

... but hearing that these two are over the moon with their new home and are really enjoying themselves in it made Birgit very glad indeed. And in the meantime she also received a third positive response - because I too like it very much! ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 178)

Hallo,

 

nun haben wir den letzten Sonntag vor dem Advent zu fassen... Ich freue mich ja total auf die schöne Zeit, auf den Wandel von meinem Strawberry Cottage in mein Christmas Cottage und natürlich auf den BiWuBären-Weihnachtsmarkt. Birgit freut sich auch, aber bis dahin hat sie noch viel zu tun... aber weil ich ihr meistens nicht helfen darf, versuche ich dann wenigstens, lieb und artig zu sein... was auch den angenehmen Nebeneffekt hat, dass es auch im Hinblick auf den Weihnachtsmann nicht schadet, da noch ein paar Pluspunkte zu sammeln... *räusper*

... now it's already the last Sunday before Advent... I'm really looking forward to this wonderful time of the year, the changing of my Strawberry Cottage into my Christmas Cottage and of course the BiWuBear Christmas Market. Birgit is also looking forward to all of this but until then she has still a lot of business to do... and because most of the time I am not allowed to help at least I try to be nice and neat.... which has in fact the lovely side effect that this helps me to collect some more points on the positive side of Santa's list... I might need them... *clears-his-throat*

 

Eigentlich sollten die letzen Sonntage dieses Jahres ja unseren Weihnachts- und Winterbärchen gehören, aber diese Woche haben sich ja Rubiella und Hazel auf die Reise in ihr neues Zuhause begeben und ich musste beiden vor der Abreise fest versprechen, dass sie auch einmal "ihren" Kaffeeklatsch bekommen.  Und natürlich halte ich mein Versprechen, hier sind sie also - Ladies first:

As you know we had planned to show our Christmas- and winter bearies during the last Sundays of the year but this week Rubiella and Hazel have left for their new home and I had to promise them before their departure that they would get their own "Kaffeeklatsch". And of course I'm keeping my promise, here they are - ladies first:

Aber wenn ich jetzt mal so darüber nachdenke... eigentlich passen die beiden doch ganz gut in unsere Weihnachts-Winter-Kaffeeklatsch-Reihe. Ich meine, was wäre die Weinachtszeit ohne Nüsse... und es geht zu Weihnachten ja auch um Herzenswünsche. Und es müssen ja auch nicht immer materielle Herzenswünsche sein - einen schönen gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch zu genießen ist doch eigentlich ein Herzenswunsch jeden Sonntag, oder? Und ich bin sicher, dass Rubiella uns den auch aus der Ferne erfüllen wird, sie ist ja schließlich die Fee für die Herzenswünsche. Jedenfalls wünsche ich Euch nachher einen schönen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche und einen schönen Dekorationsendspurt hin zum Advent wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch... ;O)

But I was just wondering... somehow those two do fit into our Christmas-winter-"Kaffeeklatsch" series quite well. I mean, what would be Christmas season without nuts... and Christmas is for sure the time for the heartwishes. But it doesn't always have to be about the material heartwishes - enjoying a nice cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" can be a heartwish for every Sunday, can't it? And I'm convinced that Rubiella will fulfil us this one although she's now far away from here because she's the fairy of heartwishes. Anyhow, I'm wishing you loads of fun later on for a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" with one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing you a great week on top and a happy and successful finish to decorating for Advent... ;O)

Feen mögen's auch bunt

nachdem ich beim letzten Mal gelernt habe, dass Elfen es gerne bunt mögen - vor allem, was ihre Häuser angeht - möchte ich Euch heute zeigen, dass auch Feen es gerne bunt mögen. Aber vorher muss ich noch eine freundschaftliche Warnung an unsere liebe Freudin Melli loswerden: "Achtung, liebe Nachteule, Du musst ganz ruhig bleiben - die Zeit ist gekommen! Ich trage ab sofort meinen Schal!!!" Melli behauptet nämlich immer, mit diesem Schal wäre ich Mr. Supersexy und unwiderstehlich... *rotwerd* Aber zurück zur Sache - erinnert Ihr Euch an Blue, die blaue Fee? Die liebe Silke hat sich von Birgit eine rote Fee gewünscht - na, und den Herzenswunsch hat Birgit ihr gerne erfüllt. Obwohl, wenn ich mir hier das Glas mit den ganzen Herzenswünschen so anschaue, dann ist das eigentlich ab jetzt der Job von Rubiella, unserer roten Fee.
... after learning the last time that elves prefer it colourful - especially if their houses are concerned - I'd like to show to you today that fairies like it colourful, too. But first I have to say some friendly words of warning to our dear friend Melli: "Caution, dear Nightowl, just stay calm - the time has come! From now on I'm wearing my scarf again!!!" Melli always says while wearing this scarf I'd become Mr. Supersexy being simply irresistable... *blush* But back to business - do you remember Blue, the blue fairy? Dear Silke asked Birgit if she could sew a red fairy - well, for sure Birgit didn't hesitate to fulfil Silke's heartwish. Nevertheless, when I'm looking at this jar with heartwishes here this would from now on be the job of Rubiella, our red fairy.

                

Flutterby: Da kannst Du aber wirklich viele Herzenswünsche erfüllen, Rubiella.

Rubiella: Stimmt - allerdings muss man damit sehr vorsichtig umgehen. Da muss man schon Profi sein, so wie ich.
Flutterby: You're able to fulfil many, many heartwishes, Rubiella.
Rubiella: Right - but you have to be careful with this this and you need to be a pro like me.

 

Flutterby: Ja, Birgit hat mir schon einen Vortrag gehalten, dass ich in diesem Post die Worte Erdbeeren und Herzenswunsch nicht zusammen in den Mund nehmen darf.

Rubiella (lacht): Naja, das Verlangen nach Erdbeeren ist in Deinem Fall ja auch weniger ein Herzenswunsch als ein Dauerzustand, oder? Wo bleibt eigentlich Hazel?
Flutterby: Yes, Birgit already pointed out very clear to me that in this post I would not me allowed to use the words strawberries and heartwish together in one sentence.
Rubiella (laughing): Well, the desire for strawberries is in your case less a heartwish but much more a status quo, isn't it? But where is Hazel?
          

 

Hazel: Bin schon da! Ich musste nur noch mein Buch holen - und jetzt bin ich reisefertig!

Flutterby: Ich kann immer noch nicht glauben, dass Ihr beide jetzt abreist... immer diese Abschiede...

Rubiella: Ja, Abschiede sind nicht einfach - aber wir kommen doch in ein wunderschönes Zuhause mit vielen anderen Bärchen.

Hazel: Genau, und da warten schon vier BiWuBärchen auf uns... Gnubbel, Fleur, Greenella und Noel - ich freue mich schon total, die Vier kennen zu lernen. Dann sind wir ein halbes Dutzend!
Flutterby: Ihr werdet garantiert viel Spaß haben. Vergiss Deine Wechselflügel nicht, Rubiella!
Rubiella (macht eine Bewegung mit dem Zauberstab): Die habe ich bereits hier. Ja, manchmal bin ich halt auch ein Engelchen. Möchtest Du einmal schauen, ob Dir rot steht, Fluby?
Hazel: Here I am! I had to get my book - and now I'm ready for the journey!
Flutterby: I can still hardly believe that you're both leaving... always these goodbyes...
Rubiella: Yes, goodbyes aren't easy - but we will come to a lovely new home with many other bearies.
Hazel: Right, and there are already four BiWuBearies waiting for us... Gnubbel, Fleur, Greenella and Noel - I'm really looking forward to getting to know them in bearson. We will be a good half of a dozen then!
Flutterby: You're going to have loads of fun for sure. Don't forget your changeable wings, Rubiella!
Rubiella (waves her wand): I got them right here. Yes, sometimes I can also be an angel. Would you like to find out if red suits you, Fluby?
      

Hazel (grinst): Na, ich weiß nicht, rot ist nicht so ganz Deine Farbe, Fluby... Aber als Engelchen machst Du Dich auch ganz gut, Rubiella.
Rubiella: Danke schön. Bist Du so weit? Dann kann's ja losgehen mit der Reise in das neue Zuhause... auf Wiedersehen, Fluby!
Hazel: Wir melden uns auch garantiert bei Dir!
Flutterby: Grüßt die anderen von mir - und alles Gute!
Hazel (grinning): Well, I don't know, red doesn't seem to be your colour, Fluby... But you sure look good as an angel, Rubiella.
Rubiella: Thank you. Are you ready? Then we can start our journey to our new home... goodbye, Fluby!
