Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 186)

Hallo,

 

und herzlich Willkommen zu einem weiteren Kaffeeklatsch aus der neuen Kaffeeklatschtasse...

... and a heartwarm Welcome to yet another "Kaffeeklatsch" coming out of the new "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup...

           

           

Nachdem Wusel mir von seinen Erfahrungen vom letzten Mal erzählt hatte, war ich ja schon etwas skeptisch wegen des für uns größere Bärchen nicht gerade komfortablen Bechers. Und auch wenn ich nicht so aussehe, aber ich wurde nach dem gleichen Schnitt genäht wie Wusel und ich bin Birgits zweiter Bär und immerhin der erste überhaupt aus ihrem Lieblingsstoff, aus dem heutzutage immer noch die BiWuBären gemacht werden. Mit mir hat sie wertvolle Erkenntnisse für das Bärenmachen gesammelt - insbesondere, dass die Größe der Gelenke doch besser zur Größe des Bärchens passen sollte. Nun ja, ich gehe halt locker durch's Leben und deshalb heiße ich ja mit vollem Namen auch Brownie von Schlotter... äh... Moment mal... *ächz* Also, das ist hier aber wirklich unbequem... nee... so geht das auch nicht...

After Wusel had told me about his experiences he made during the last time I was kind of sceptical about this mug being not very comfortable for us bigger bearies. And although I might not look like this but I was made from the same pattern as Wusel and I am Birgit's second bear and above all the first being made from her most favourite fabric which is still her first choice for today's BiWuBearies. And while making me she learnt a lot of bearmaker's lessons - especially that the size of the joints should match with the size of the beary. Well, that's why I'm always a bit loose and relaxed whatever may come and I also got my name Brownie von Schlotter because of that ("schlottern" means being doddery, shivery... with loose joints)... eh.. wait a minute... *groan* Well, it's really uncomfortable inside of this... oh no... this doesn't work either...

      

            

Auch nicht bequemer als vorher... Mir tut Chris Kringle jetzt schon leid... der ist nächste Woche dran und der ist noch ein kleines Stück größer... *schluck* Wartet mal... ich muss mich noch mal umsetzen...

Not a single bit more comfy than before... I already pity Chris Kringle... it's his turn next week and he's even a little bit taller... *gulp* But wait... gotta change my position once more...

         

            

Hey! So geht's! Ja, ehrlich... SO lässt sich das aushalten! Und wenn mir jetzt noch jemand eine warme Honigmilch oder einen heißen Kakao vorbei bringt, dann bleibe ich hier drin bis es nachher Zeit für den Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch wird. Denn mal ehrlich... für einen schönen gemütlichen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch lässt man doch alles stehen und liegen und klettert sogar wieder aus diesem schönen Kaffeebecher heraus! *grins* Ich wünsche Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß dabei mit ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine tolle Woche - die wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch! Und wenn Euch das Leben einen zu kleinen Kaffeebecher vor die Pfoten stellt, dann macht es Euch darin trotzdem gemütlich... *lach*

Hey! This works! Yes, really... THIS WAY I can enjoy myself! And if someone would serve me a warm honey milk or a hot cacao I could stay inside of here until it will be time for the Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" later on. Because... for a nice comfy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" noone would hesitate to leave a nice coffee mug like this! *grin* I'm wishing you loads of fun later on having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing to all of you a great week on top! And whenever life may throw you a coffee mug being way too small in front of your paws... well, try to manage being comfy in it... *LOL*

Blick in die Zukunft

Hallo,

 

schon ist der erste Monat des Jahres wieder halb rum - trotzdem fragen wir uns alle doch immer noch, was es uns wohl bringen wird. Nun, ich habe mir gedacht, vielleicht lässt sich ja doch zumindest in Teilen heraus bekommen... wozu ist man schließlich mit ausgebildeten Bärchenhexen und -zauberern eng befreundet?

... the first half of the year's first month has already gone - nevertheless many of us are still wondering what this year might bring to us. Well, I thought by myself it should be possible to find that out at least  in parts... why not take advantage of the fact that I'm friends with experienced beary witches and wizards?

 

Also habe ich mich heute mit Magica de Spell verabredet, um mit ihr einen Blick in die Zukunft zu tun. Und nun schaut mal... die Kristallkugel ist schon hier... und von Magica noch keine Spur... hmmm... Was meint Ihr? Ob ich es mal versuchen sollte? Einen Versuch könnte ich ja mal wagen...

So I arranged an appointment with Magica de Spell today for having a look into the future. And now see yourselves... the crystal ball is already hear... and Magica nowhere in sight... hmmmm... What do you think? Should I have a try? At least I could make one attempt...

   

           

Nun gut... ich hatte mehr als einen Versuch... Ich hab's mit "Hokuspokus", "Abrakadabra", "3 x schwarzer Kater", "Simsalabim", "Krötenschleim und Spinnenbein" probiert - aber die Kugel wollte mir absolut nichts zeigen.

Okay... I had indeed more than one attempt... I've tried it with "hocuspocus", "abracadabra", "3 times a black cat", "simsalabim", "toad slime and spider leg" - but the ball refused to show me anything.
           

           

Schade - ich hätte doch zu gerne gewusst, wieviele Erdbeertorten das Jahr 2014 für mich bereit hält... *seufz* Aber ich fürchte, das werde ich nun Tag für Tag selbst heraus finden müssen, denn das altbekannte Sternenfunkeln kündigt magischen Besuch an. Und schon stand Magica de Spell mit breitem Grinsen vor mir.

So sad - I would really liked to know how many strawberry cakes the year 2014 will have in store for me... *sigh* Looks like I'll have to find that out myself day by day because the well-known sparkling of stars is announcing a magical visit now. And in a wink of an eye Magica de Spell was standing before me showing a broad grin on her face.

           

            

Magica: Na, Fluby... konntest Du Deine Pfoten nicht von der Wahrsagekugel lassen?

Flutterby: (Denkt bei sich: Hoffentlich verraten mich meine Blogfreunde nicht... Laut:) Hör mal, ich habe hier nur auf Dich gewartet, wir waren schließlich verabredet.

Magica (mit noch breiterem Grinsen): Klar... Du hast hier nur brav gewartet. Komisch, der Zauberspiegel hat mir ganz was anderes erzählt.

Flutterby: (Denkt bei sich: Mist, der Zauberspiegel hat mich verraten, daran habe ich gar nicht gedacht... Laut:) Tut mir leid... ich konnte der Versuchung irgendwie nicht widerstehen.

Magica: Das kann ich sogar verstehen... trotzdem ist es immer gefährlich, wenn Nicht-Magier versuchen, Magie zu nutzen. Und kaum etwas ist gefährlicher als ein Blick in die Zukunft...

Flutterby: Ehrlich? Warum denn?

Magica: Weil sich uns die Zukunft erst offenbaren soll, wenn sie Gegenwart wird. Deshalb dürfen wir immer nur ganz kleine Teile der Zukunft betrachten... Aber jetzt sei bitte ein bisschen vorsichtig, es geht los - und für die Zukunft braucht es einen sehr starken Zauber.

Magica: Say, Fluby... couldn't you keep your paws away from that crystal ball?

Flutterby: (Thinking by himself: I can only hope that my blogfriends won't reveal what I did... Aloud:) Listen, I was only waiting here for you because we had an appointment.

Magica (showing an even broader grin): For sure... you were only waiting here being a good boy. Funny somehow that the Magical Mirror told me another version of this.

Flutterby: (Thinking by himself: Rats, I forgot about that ol' telltale Magical Mirror... Aloud:) I'm sorry about that... I couldn't resist this temptation.

Magica: I can even understand this... nevertheless it's alway dangerous whenever muggles try to cast a spell. And hardly anything is more dangerous than looking into the future...

Flutterby: Really? How come?

Magcia: Because the future shall only appear to us the moment it becomes the present. That's why we're only aloud to have very small glimpses into the future... But please be a little careful now, I'm starting now - and for the future it takes a very heavy spell.

         

            

Gut, dass sie mich gewarnt hat, meine magische Freundin... DAS war wirklich ein sehr starker Zauber. Was für ein helles Licht!  Und dann sagte Magica auf einmal, ich solle in die Kugel hineinsehen...

I was glad my magical friend had warned me... THAT was for sure a heavy spell. What a bright light! And suddenly Magica said I should have a look into the ball...

      

            

Flutterby: Donnerwetter! Das ist ja unglaublich...Mit so etwas hätte ich nicht gerechnet!

Magica: Und - weißt Du, was das ist?

Flutterby: Aber natürlich! Das ist Birgits erstes großes 1:12-Projekt für 2014. Aus dem Bausatz soll das Häuschen für Rosey entstehen.

Magica: Richtig. Und nun sieh noch einmal hinein. Was siehst Du?

Flutterby: Great Scott! That's incredible... I would never have expected something like this!

Magica: And - do you know what that is?

Flutterby: For sure! This is Birgit's first big project in 1:12 scale for 2014. From this kit she is going to build a home for Rosey.

Magica: Right. And now have another look inside. What do you see?
            

                 

Flutterby (lacht): Ich glaube, ich sehe ein Muster! Oder dass Du mir nur einen ganz bestimmten Blick in die Zukunft gewähren willst. Auf jeden Fall sehe ich aber das Projekt, das nach Roseys Haus kommen soll. Aus diesem Bausatz soll einmal der Altersruhesitz für Gertie Gumthrop werden.

Magica (nickt): Genau, und ich muss gestehen, dass wir vom Hexenturm alle sehr hoffen, dass Birgit das Häuschen von Rosey schnell fertig bekommt, damit Gertie schnell einziehen kann.

Flutterby: Ja, Birgit hat auch schon überlegt, ob sie das vorziehen soll...

Magica (schüttelt den Kopf): Nein, nein... das haben wir ihr schon ausgeredet. Rosey wartet schon so lange, weil der Bau vom neuen Hexenturm so lange gedauert hat - sie ist jetzt wirklich an der Reihe. Aber wir hoffen, dass Birgit für das kleine Haus nicht so furchtbar lange brauchen wird. Aber nun schau noch einmal hinein!
Flutterby (laughing): I think I see a pattern here! Or in other words - you only want to allow me a very special view into the future. But without doubt I'm seeing the project that shall follow after Rosey's house. This kit is going to become the home of Gertie Gumthrop, the old witch.
Magica (nodding): Yes, and I must admit everybody at the witch towers hope that Birgit will finish Rosey's home very soon so that Gertie can move in fast, too...
Flutterby: Well, Birgit was already thinking about doing this one first.
Magica (shakes her head): No, never... we already had some serious talk with her about that. Rosey has been waiting for so long because the building of the new witch tower lasted so long - now she really deserves her turn. But our hope is that Birgit won't need much time for this small house. But now look inside once more! 

            

         

Flutterby: Oh, das ist ja Birgits Weihnachtsgeschenk! Das hat sie von ihren Eltern zu Weihnachten bekommen.

Magica: Und - weißt Du schon, was sie für Pläne damit hat?

Flutterby: Klar - daraus will sie ein Weihnachtshaus machen. Aber vermutlich ist das schon die Zukunft für 2015.

Magica: Schon möglich. Und was meinst Du... hat Dir der Blick in die Zukunft nun irgend etwas gebracht? Weißt Du jetzt etwas, was Du vorher noch nicht wusstest?

Flutterby: Nein, irgendwie war das gar nichts Neues... schon ein bisschen enttäuschend... Kann man nicht vielleicht noch mal die Lottozahlen vom nächsten Wochenende anschauen...?

Magica (lacht laut): Netter Versuch, Fluby! Aber Du solltest doch inzwischen wissen, dass Magie für derartige Dinge nicht gebraucht werden kann und darf.

Flutterby (seufzt): Naja, ich dachte ja nur... Trotzdem vielen Dank. Ich glaube, ich habe heute etwas gelernt.

Magica (lächelt): Das freut mich aufrichtig. Weißt Du, lass uns einfach Tag für Tag schauen, was das neue Jahr uns bringt...
Flutterby: Oh, this is Birgit's Christmas gift! This is what her parents gave to her for Christmas.
Magica: And - do yo already know what she's planning with this one?
Flutterby: Sure - she's going to turn this into a Christmas house. But probably this is already the future of 2015.
Magica: Maybe. And what do you think... was looking into the future helpful in any way for you? Do you now know something you haven't known before?
Flutterby: No, somehow this was nothing new to me... kind of disappointing... But maybe it's possible to catch a glimpse at the lucky numbers of next weekend's lottery...?
Magica (laughing out loud): Nice try, Fluby! But you should know better by now - magic may not and can not be used for things like that.
Flutterby (sighing): Well, I was only asking... Nevertheless, thank you very much. I think I've learnt a lesson today.
Magica (smiling): I'm glad to hear this. See, let's just take day by day and see what the new year will bring to us...
          

              

Ja, gut... ich hab's ja inzwischen auch verstanden. Recht hat sie ja, die Magica... und die eine oder andere Erdbeertorte wird 2014 bestimmt für mich bereit halten. Ach ja... Erdbeeren... süße, saftige, rote, aromatische Erdbeeren... äh... zurück zur Sache. Auch wenn mir das heute keine neuen Erkenntnisse gebracht hat - aber Ihr habt immerhin schon ein kleines bisschen in die Zukunft unseres Blogs schauen können, denn was Birgit bastelt, werden wir hier ja zeigen. Und deshalb beginnen wir demnächst mit Roseys Häuschen aus dem Bausatz "Summer House" von DHE - und wir sind alle schon sehr gespannt darauf, das kann ich Euch schon verraten, denn Birgit und rosa und girlie... das geht eigentlich gar nicht. Nun, für Rosey wird sie sich da aber was einfallen lassen müssen... *grins*

Okay, okay... I got it. Yes, she's right about that, dear Magica... and I'm convinced that 2014 will have some strawberry cakes in store for me. Oh my... strawberries... sweet, juicy red, aromatic strawberries... eh... back to our topic. Although this brought no new information to me today - but somehow you've been able to have a little glimpse into the future of our blog because what Birgit is crafting we are going to show here. And so we're going to start with Rosey's house made from the "Summer House Kit" by DHE - and we're all anxious about that, I can tell you - because Birgit and pink and girlie... that's somehow a no-go. Well, for Rosey she'll have to give it a try for sure... *grin*

 

Und danach geht es weiter mit dem "Corner Shop" von DHE - da freut Birgit sich schon besonders drauf, weil sie sich dann von rosa und girlie erholen kann und endlich wieder das tun kann, woran sie besonders viel Spaß hat - ein Zuhause für eine Hexe einrichten. Und einen Garten... oben auf dem Dach. Tja, und wenn das fertig ist, dann wartet eben "The Orchid" von Greenleaf/Corona darauf, ein Weihnachtshaus zu werden - was auch nicht verwundert, denn weihnachtliche Miniaturen hat Birgit mindestens genau so gern wie die magischen. Ihr merkt schon... langweilig wird es uns auch in Zukunft nicht werden! ;O)

And after this we're going on with "The Corner Shop Kit" by DHE - and Birgit is really looking forward to this one because then she'll be able to recover from pink and girlie and do what she loves the most - building a home for a witch. And a garden... on the top of the roof. Well, and after she's done with this there's still "The Orchid" by Greenleaf/Corona waiting for her to be turned into a Christmas house - what doesn't surprise at all because Birgit likes Cristmas miniatures as much as she likes the magical ones. Now you see - our future won't be boring! ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 185)

Hallo,

 

ich freue mich sehr, Euch heute wieder einmal zum Kaffeeklatsch begrüßen zu dürfen. Mir gehört ja in jedem Jahr der zweite Kaffeeklatsch - den ersten übernimmt natürlich Fluby als Blogbärchen, aber danach bin ich immer dran. Klar, ich bin ja auch nicht irgendwer - sondern das allererste Bärchen, das Birgit gemacht hat, noch nach einem Fremdschnitt. Aber immerhin, sie hat nach mir dann noch weiter gemacht, das spricht ja nicht gegen mich, oder?

... I'm really glad that I'm the one to welcome you to today's "Kaffeeklatsch" once more. You must know - the second "Kaffeeklatsch" of each year belongs to me - the first one is of course Fluby's job because he's the blogbeary, but after him it's always my turn. For sure, I'm not anybody - I am indeed the very first beary Birgit has ever made, still after a bought pattern. But I think I can be proud that she didn't give in after me...

            

          

Allerdings war der Kaffeeklatschtermin dieses Mal ganz schön anstrengend, das hat echt Schweiß gekostet... Mal ehrlich... für die richtigen BiWuBärchen mag dieser Becher ja bequem sein, aber wir Erstlinge sind nun mal ein wenig größer als die Bärchen nach Birgits eigenem Schnitt. Wo bleibt denn da der Minderheitenschutz? *lach* Aber zum Glück hatte Birgit ein gutes Trostpflaster für mich im Angebot: Ich darf mich nach der Anstrengung nachher bei einem schönen Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch erholen! *jippiiiieee*

But in fact the "Kaffeeklatsch"-photoshooting was very exhausting this time, I've really lost some sweat... Honestly speaking... for the real BiWuBearies this mug might be quite comfortable, but what about us firsties being a bit bigger than the bearies Birgit made from her own pattern? What about our minority protection? *LOL* But I was lucky because Birgit offered me some good-working comfort: I may recover later on after this heavy photoshooting while enjoying a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch"! *yippiiieee*

 

Aber mal ehrlich... egal ob nach einem anstrengenden Termin oder nicht... ein Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch ist einfach an jedem Sonntag ein Muss und eine gute Idee, oder? Und genau dabei wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß, bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und natürlich wünsche ich Euch allen auch eine tolle Woche. Und wenn ich dann noch einen Wunsch frei haben sollte, dann wünsche ich mir für nächstes Jahr einen größeren Kaffeeklatschbecher... *grins*

But really... it doesn't matter whether you're having a stressful duty or not... a Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" is a must and a very good idea for every Sunday, isn't it? And for this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on, having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing to all of you a great week on top. And in case there might be a wish left for me still, then I would wish for a bigger "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug next year... *grin*

Da fehlt doch noch was...

Hallo,

 

irgendwie unglaublich... nun haben wir auch schon wieder das 1. Drittel vom Januar rum... und irgendwie scheint Weihnachten schon wieder lange her zu sein. Oder geht das nur mir so, weil Birgit immer schon an Neujahr alles komplett entweihnachtet hat? Wie auch immer... ich habe Euch zwar viele wunderbare Weihnachtsgeschenke zeigen können, die Birgit und ich von unseren lieben Blogfreunden bekommen haben - aber noch nicht, was meine liebe Birgit ihrem liebsten Flatterbärchen zu Weihnachten geschenkt hat.

... it's incredible somehow... now the first third of January is already over again... and somehow Christmas seems to have gone since ages. Or is this only my bearsonal impression because Birgit always gets rid of all the christmassy stuff until New Year's Day? Anyhow... I've already shown you many fantastic Christmas presents Birgit and I have received from lovely blogfriends - but I haven't shown you so far what my dear Birgit gave to her darling flutterybeary for Christmas.

 

Unsere Blogleser, die schon länger dabei sind, wissen schon, was nun kommt - natürlich hat mir meine Birgit auch in diesem Jahr wieder meinen ganz eigenen BiWuBärchen-Kalender geschenkt. Der hat - was ich richtig gut eingerichtet finde - tatsächlich 12 Blätter und ein Deckblatt... ein Blatt für jeden Monat, ist das nicht toll? *kicher* Und Birgit hat 13 sehr schöne Fotos ausgesucht, die ich Euch gerne zeigen möchte - denn die Blumenbilder, die Ihr gleich sehen werdet, wirken auch gut gegen Winterblues und wecken Sehnsucht nach Sonne und Frühling. Also, auf geht's - "Mit den BiWuBärchen durch das Jahr 2014".

Our blog readers who are following us for a long time already know what will follow now - of course this year too Birgit gave my very own BiWuBeary calendar to me. And this contains of actually 12 sheets and a title, I really think that's sooooooo clever... a sheet for every single month, isn't that great? *giggle* And Birgit has chosen 13 very nice photos I would really like to show you - as a side effect the flower pictures you are going to see now are good against winter blues and awake the longing for sun and spring. So, let's start - as the title says "Through the year 2014 with the BiWuBearies".
             

              

Genau, das ist das Deckblatt und sozusagen der Titel des Kalenders. Im Januar haben wir dann gleich ein sehr gutaussehendes BiWuBärchen *hüstel* inmitten von Winterlingen.

Yes, that's the cover and somehow the title of the calendar. In January we're having at once a very handsome BiWuBeary *cough cough* sitting among winter aconite / eranthis.

       

          

Im Februar bewundert Violetta die Krokusse.

In February Violetta is admiring the crocusses.
         

           

Und im März ist wieder der gutaussehende Bursche *grins* zu sehen, diesmal in unserer Nelkenkirsche.

And in March it's time again for that handsome looking guy *grin*, this time in our blooming tree. (We don't know the English expression for it, it's a decorative cherry tree, in a 1:1 translation it would be a carnation cherry tree).
           

       

Im April bewundern Rosey und Violetta einen Klecks Gänseblümchen. Wie oft musste Birgit mit dem Rasenmäher da drüber, aber sie haben nie aufgegeben und sind immer wieder gekommen - die Gänseblümchen, nicht unsere beiden Blumenbärchen... *lach*

In April Rosey and Violetta are enchanted by a spot of daisies. How often Birgit had to step over them with the lawn mower, but they never gave up and they always showed new blossoms - the daisies, not our two flower bearies... *LOL*

          

         

Im Mai darf ich Hahn im Korb sein mit den beiden zauberhaften Mädels - zu schade, dass es sich dabei ja um meine Schwestern handelt...

In May I may be the gentlebear in a basket together with two beautiful girls - what a pity that they're both my sisters...
          

             

Und im Juni hat Birgit auch beim Kalenderblatt richtig in die Kreativkiste reingelangt... von so wunderschönen Rosen kann man doch einfach nicht genug bekommen, oder? Und ich hoffe, auch von dem gutaussehenden pelzigen Burschen nicht... *flöööt*

In June Birgit was especially creative with the calendar sheet... but who could ever get enough of beautiful roses like these, don't you agree? And I hope this includes the handsome furry guy, too... *tweeet*

        

         

Im Juli genießt Copper die Mini-Petunien.

In July Copper enjoys the tiny petunias.
       

           

Im August müsst Ihr eventuell etwas genauer hinschauen, um außer einer schönen Hortensie und einem gutaussehenden Flatterbärchen auch noch unsere bezaubernde Blue erkennen zu können.

In August you might perhaps need a closer look to spot despite of a beautiful hydrangea and a handsome flutterybeary also our enchanting Blue.

         

             

Im September taucht Rosey ein in die weißen Chrysanthemen.

In September Rosey is diving into white chrysanthemums.

        

         

Und im Oktober bewundert Hazel die erste Herbstfärbung.

And in October Hazel is admiring the first colours of autumn.
        

            

Und auch wenn im November eigentlich nicht mehr viel blüht - aber Hazel sitzt trotzdem in einem Blütenmeer.

And although there aren't many plants in bloom during November anymore - but Hazel is still sitting in an ocean of flowers.
         

        

Und im Dezember... naja... was soll ich sagen?! Seht selbst...

And in December... well... what am I supposed to say?! See yourselves...
         

            

Gutaussehendes Flatterbärchen mit sexy Schal im verschneiten Garten... (Huhuuuu, Melli!) *lach* Also mal ehrlich... rein vom Kalender her wird 2014 für mich ein ganz tolles Jahr - jeden Monat wird mich ein schönes Bild begleiten. Und was mich am meisten daran freut ist, dass ich jedes Jahr so einen schönen Jahresbegleiter von meiner Birgit zu Weihnachten bekomme. Und das ist jedes Mal wieder schön - sind ja schließlich immer wieder neue Bilder drin... ;O)

(waves hello to Melli) *LOL* Really - just speaking of the calendar 2014 is going to become a gorgeous year for me - in every month a beautiful picture will accompany me. And what I love the the most about it is that I'm receiving such a lovely companion for the year from my Birgit every Christmas again. And that always fantastic every time - because there are always new pictures in it... ;O)

Das Jahr fängt gut an...

Hallo,

 

so langsam kehrt nach all den Feiertagen ja wieder der Alltag ein... aber auch im Alltag kann man ja schöne Erlebnisse haben. Wir hatten zum Beispiel letzten Samstag wettermäßig einen ganz herrlichen Tag - ohne Regen, sogar die Sonne hat sich gezeigt... und das haben meine Menschen genutzt, um mal wieder an die Ostsee an den Schönberger Strand zu fahren. Und das Allerbeste daran war - Rosey und ich durften mit! Herrlich... es war wirklich schön, sich mal wieder den Wind durch das Fell wehen zu lassen...

... after all these holidays we're slowly going back to every-day-life... but in every-day-life you can experience special moments, too. Last Saturday for example we had a beautiful day around here - without rain, even the sun showed its face... and so my human beings took that opportunity to visit the beach of Schönberg at the Baltic Sea. And the very best of this trip - Rosey and I were allowed to join them! Great - it was simply fantastic letting the wind blow through our fur again...

          

            

Wir waren ja auch schön warm eingepackt mit unseren schönen Schals, Rosey und ich... *schmunzel*

But of course we've been comfy warm being wrapped in our lovely scarves, Rosey and I... *smile*

           

         

Und nun machen wir ein kleines Suchspiel - könnt Ihr auf diesem Foto irgendwo zwei kleine BiWuBärchen mit Schal ausmachen?

Birgit meint, es sei gar nicht so einfach, Landschaft UND BiWuBärchen auf ein Foto zu bannen. Ich weiß gar nicht, was sie wieder hat... Auslöser gedrückt und gut ist... Wie Ihr sehen könnt, waren wir ganz nah am Wasser... *hihi*

Birgit says it wouldn't be easy to take a picture both with landscape AND BiWuBearies. I don't know what she's complaining about... push the button and here you go... As you can see we've been very close to the water... *teehee*

         

       

Kurze Zwischenrast auf dem Weg zur Seebrücke... da sind wir noch ganz bis ans Ende gegangen.

Also... das heißt... Birgit ist gegangen... Rosey und ich saßen bequem in unserem Reisekarton und haben uns von Birgit tragen lassen. Rosey und ich hatten viel Spaß, es war richtig lustig - und vor allem komfortabel... denn Birgit ist ja gelaufen...

Well... I mean... Birgit walked... Rosey and I were sitting cozily in our traveling box and let Birgit carry us. Rosey and I had loads of fun, it was really funny - and especially comfy... because Birgit did all the walking...

              

            

... und zwar direkt am Wasser immer schön am Strand lang.

Am Schönberger Strand kann man wirklich wunderbar spazieren gehen (sagt jedenfalls Birgit *grins*).

The Beach of Schönberg is perfect for long walks (at least that's what Birgit says *grin*).

 

Ach ja, das war ein sehr schöner Ausflug am Beginn des neuen Jahres... da fühlt man sich doch gleich wieder frisch und voller Tatendrang. Meine Birgit zum Beispiel ist am Montag gleich in den Supermarkt gelaufen und hat Geld ausgegeben... Nachdem die liebe Anne auf ihrem Blog von einem neuen Sammelwerk für ein Puppenhaus berichtet hat, wollte Birgit unbedingt versuchen, die erste Ausgabe zu erwischen - und sie hatte Glück! Nun hat Birgit keinesfalls vor, anhand so einer Sammelausgabe ein Puppenhaus zu bauen... aber bei solchen Sammelausgaben sind die ersten Teile ja immer besonders günstig - und in Teil 1 gab es das hier:

My, this has really been a lovely trip at the beginning of the new year... now we all feel fresh and full of energy again. My Birgit for example hurried to the supermarket on Monday to spend some money... After dear Anne had told us on her blog about a new collection series for building a dollhouse step by step Birgit really wanted to try to catch the first part - and she was lucky! But of course Birgit doesn't plan to build a dollhouse using this collection... but series like this usually offer the first parts at a low price - and in part 1 they were offering this:

            

       

Einen wirklich schönen alten Herd, richtig aus Metall mit Klappen, die sich sogar öffnen lassen, und dazu noch Pfanne und Topf. Das ist genau das Richtige für eines ihrer Zukunftsprojekte, sagt Birgit. Und das Allerbeste daran: Für all das hat sie nur 1,99 Euronen bezahlen müssen! Ein echtes Schnäppchen... und nun ist meine Birgit glücklich und wenn meine Birgit glücklich ist, bin ich auch glücklich. Noch glücklicher wäre ich allerdings, wenn ich eine warme Honigmilch bekommen würde - am Besten spreche ich mal mit Birgit, ob sie denn den schönen Herd nicht mal einweihen möchte... ;O)

A lovely old stove, really made of metal with doors that can be opened, and even with the pan and pot. Just the right things for one of her future projects Birgit says. And the very best of it: For all of this she only had to pay 1,99 Euro! A real bargain... and now my Birgit is happy and whenever my Birgit is happy I am happy, too. But I would be even happier if I would get a warm honey milk now - I'd better talk to Birgit if she would consider to inaugurate that lovely stove... ;O)

Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 184)

... und herzlich Willkommen zum 1. Kaffeeklatsch im Neuen Jahr 2014! Und natürlich ist der 1. Kaffeeklatsch im neuen Jahr Chefsache... jawoll, das macht das Blogbärchen (meinereiner *lach*) bärsönlich... denn schließlich gilt es ja, die neue Kaffeeklatschtasse vorzustellen, aus der nun an jedem Sonntag in 2014 ein BiWuBärchen die Kaffeeklatschgrüße überbringen wird.

... and a heartwarm welcome to the first "Kaffeeklatsch" of the new year 2014! And of course the first "Kaffeeklatsch" of the new year is the boss's business... yessss, this one is hosted by the blogbeary (speaking of myself *LOL*) bearsonally... and of course I have the honor of introducing our new "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup to you which will host a BiWuBeary saying the "Kaffeeklatsch"-greetings every Sunday in 2014 from now on.

 

Es war übrigens nicht einfach, sich aus all den zahlreichen Bechern, die wir hier zu Hause haben, zu entscheiden... außerdem haben wir da auch gewisse Ansprüche, schließlich hatten wir in den Vorjahren echt tolle Becher für den Kaffeeklatsch:

Somehow it wasn't easy to make a choice out of the numerous mugs we have in store around here... and whatsmore we have some expectations because in the years before we really had some gorgeous mugs for our "Kaffeeklatsch":

             

            

            

             

          

An den Tassen merkt man, wie die Zeit vergeht... *schmunzel* Nun, dieses Jahr haben wir uns nach langem Überlegen und Probesitzen für ein Modell entschieden, dass designmäßig den Kaffeeklatsch auf den Punkt bringt. Also - es ist soweit... *Trommelwirbel* Ich präsentiere unsere Kaffeekatschtasse des Jahres 2014:

Looking at the cups you can notice how time flies... *smile* Well, this year after thinking and trying for a long time we've decided to take a model having the "Kaffeeklatsch" already in its design. Okay - now's the time... *drumroll please* I may proudly present the "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup of the year 2014:

         

 

Also, mir gefällt dieser Becher - und bequem ist es hier auch! Aber eine letzte Bewährungsprobe muss der neue Becher nun noch bestehen... also... *räusper*: Egal mit welchem Becher und egal, welches Datum man gerade zu fassen hat - wichtig ist doch nur, dass man sich am Sonntag etwas Schönes gönnt. Und was könnte da besser geeignet sein als ein schöner gemütlicher Sonntagsnachmittagskaffeeklatsch? Genau dafür wünsche ich Euch nachher ganz viel Spaß bei ein, zwei Tässchen leckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskaffee und ein, zwei, drei, vier Stückchen oberleckerem Sonntagsnachmittagskuchen. Und eine schöne Woche - die wünsche ich Euch natürlich auch!

Well, I really like this cup - and it's really comfy inside! But there's still one last test this new mug has to pass... so... *clears-his-throat*: Whether with which mug and whether which date the calendar is telling us - it's only important to do yourself something good at a Sunday. And what could be better for this than a nice, cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch"? For this I'm wishing you loads of fun later on having one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. And of course I'm wishing to all of you a great week on top!

 

Na, bitte... geht doch... jetzt hat der neue Becher sich aber wirklich in allen Punkten bewährt... ;O)

Hey... this really worked fine... now the new mug really has passed all the tests... ;O)

Willkommen 2014 - willkommen im Januar

Hallo,

 

ich wünsche Euch ein frohes neues Jahr! Hoffentlich habt Ihr den Jahreswechsel gut überstanden - und ganz egal, ob Ihr gute Vorsätze gefasst habt oder nicht... schauen wir doch einfach mal, was das neue Jahr uns bringen wird.

... I'm wishing you a Happy New Year! I hope it was a good change of years for you - and whether you've made New Year's resolutions or not... let's wait and see what the new year has in store for us.

 

Und nur, weil ein neues Jahr angefangen hat, wird ja auch nicht gleich alles anders... im Gegenteil - manche Dinge bleiben oder kommen immer wieder.. so wie unser allmonatlicher Willkommensgruß an den neuen Monat natürlich. Selbstverständlich musste ich meiner Birgit diesmal noch mehr helfen als sonst, denn es galt natürlich erst einmal, Birgits zahlreiche Kalender auszutauschen. Aber ich bin ja bekanntermaßen ein Gentlebär (und damit höre ich natürlich in 2014 nicht auf... *hihi*), also habe ich wieder mal das Fell an meinen Armen hochgekrempelt und los ging's. Unser neuer Sprüchekalender führt sich gleich gut ein - mit einem schönen Winterbild (O doch... wir finden Winterlandschaften schön... solange sich die verschneiten Landschaften anderswo befinden und andere Leute als Birgit zur Schneeschaufel greifen müssen... *grins*) und einem Zitat von Franz Grillparzer: "Monde und Jahre vergehen, aber ein schöner Moment leuchtet das Leben hindurch."

And just because a new year has begun it doesn't mean that everything has to change... some things stay the same and don't change... like our monthly welcoming of the new month for sure. And of course I had to help my Birgit more than usual because this time we also had to exchange Birgit's numerous calendars. But being well-known as a gentlebear (well, I won't stop being one in 2014... *teehee*) I was pulling up once more the fur on my arms and on we went. Our new wisdom calendar made a very good start - with a beautiful winter picture (o yes... we really like winter landscapes... as long as the snowy landscapes are elsewehre and other people then Birgit have to grab their snow shovels... *grin*) and with a nice quotation of Franz Grillparzer (as always I'm not going to quote but trying to say it in my own poor English), he said moons and years go by, but a wonderful moment shines through your whole life.

          

          

Also, der Gedanke gefällt mir... und es stimmt doch auch, es gibt Erinnerungen, da geht einem einfach das Herz auf. Nun, normalerweise habe ich ja immer noch ein paar schöne Gedanken mehr in petto, aber heute fiel mir stattdessen ein schönes und sehr passendes Gedicht in die Pfoten:

Birgit und ich hatten noch im alten Jahr Gelegenheit, eine Gabe dankbar zu begrüßen. Wir waren nämlich die glücklichen Gewinner des 2. Preises von Monikas Adventskalenderrätsel. Und unser Preis ist Silvester bei uns angekommen - ein ganz besonderer Kerzenleuchter...

Still in the old year Birgit and I were able to thankfully welcome a gift because we have been the lucky winners of the 2nd price in Monika's Advent Calendar riddle. And our price arrived New Year's Eve - a very special candle holder...

Liebe Monika, vielen Dank für diesen tollen Preis! Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut - vor allem aber hat Dein Rätsel uns riesig Spaß gemacht... auch dafür vielen Dank!

 

Von Monikas Kerzenleuchter mal abgesehen kann man seit Neujahr bei uns im Haus laut "Weihnachtssachen raustreten!" rufen... ohne die geringste Reaktion. All unsere Weihnachtssachen sind wieder gut verstaut und halten ihren Dornröschenschlaf bis Ende November - so ist das bei uns... im neuen Jahr muss alles wieder seinen normalen Gang gehen, Birgit meint, alles hat nun mal seine Zeit. Und so hat sich auch mein Christmas Cottage wieder in Strawberry Cottage zurück verwandelt... und ich muss sagen, ich genieße mein erdbeeriges Zuhause in vollen Zügen.

Not considering Monika's candle holder you're able to shout aloud "Come out Christmas stuff!" in our house without any reaction since New Year's day. All our Christmas items are again well stored and will rest until the end of November - that's the way it goes around here... with the beginning of a new year things have to go their usual way, Birgit says everything needs to have its own time. That's why my Christmas Cottage already changed back into Strawberry Cottage... and I must admit I'm enjoying my strawberry home to the fullest.

             

               

Auch wenn Birgit meint, alles habe seine Zeit... aber in Strawberry Cottage ist es halt immer Zeit für Erdbeeren, nicht nur im Frühsommer. Ein Glück... wie sollte ich das sonst nur aushalten... ach ja... Erdbeeren... süße, rote, saftige, aromatische Erdbeeren... *seufz* Nur gut, dass ich hier eine ganze Schüssel voll vor mir stehen habe. Mit dem Inhalt derselben werde ich gleich eine kurze, aber dafür intensive und leidenschaftliche Beziehung eingehen... *lach* Aber vorher möchte ich Euch noch einen irischen Segensspruch mit auf den Weg geben. Den haben wir zwar schon mal zitiert, aber wir finden, der passt immer und zum neuen Jahr eben besonders gut:

But although Birgit says everything shall have its own time... here in Strawberry Cottage it's always the right time for strawberries, not only in early summer. Phew... good for me, how should I ever bear this otherwise... oh my... strawberries... sweet, red, juicy, aromatic strawberries... *sigh* I'm lucky to have a bowl full ot them right before me. And with its content I'm going the have a short but yet intense and passionate relationship... *LOL* But before that I would like to share an Irish blessing with you. We've shared it before, but in our opinion it fits always and especially at a new year's beginning:
