Kaffeeklatsch (Nr. 204)

Hallo,

*lach*
... unbelievable but true... this is already the last "Kaffeeklatsch" of the month of May! And once more I'm asking myself where the month has gone to?! But I suppose this is once more a rhetoric question... *LOL*

But I can easily answer another question - I'm talking about the question who will be the one greeting out of the "Kaffeeklatsch"-cup today. Today it's Sunflower's turn, after Bruni (who you have met last week) he is the second BiWuBeary who left for a new home. And because Sunflower now lives with Birgit's Aunt Kirsten he too comes to visit his old home every now and then to host a "Kaffeeklatsch" as a special guest.

And there's another question I can easily answer - of course the question what is mandatory for spending a fantastic Sunday!  I really like it if questions have easy answers *teehee* - sure, without a nice cozy Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" a Sunday wouldn't be complete. And so I'm wishing you loads of fun later on when enjoying a nice Sundayafternoon-"Kaffeeklatsch" with one, two cups of tasty Sundayafternooncoffee and enjoying one, two, three, four pieces of yummy Sundayafternooncake. Sadly my attempts to get 19 pieces of cake on this special weekend weren't successful because Birgit disliked my proposal. Why 19 you ask? Well, yesterday the THW Kiel won the German Championship in Handball for the 19th time, I mean, this would have been worth some extra pieces of cake especially with having in mind that my Birgit was born in Kiel. But no, Birgit says proven traditions should not be changed and if we would start with something like this she wouldn't want to think af all the good reasons I would come up for increasing the amount of cake pieces. Okay... I kind of expected that this wouldn't work... but it was worth the try... *grin* To all of you I'm wishing a fantastic week!

Liebe Grüße / Hugs
Flutterby
(der natürlich von Sunflower Grüße bestellen soll)
(who shall of course greet you in Sunflower's name)

So nice of you to visit us, Sunflower! I think 19 pieces of cake would give a terrible tummy ache. I am glad that Birgit vetoed your idea ;-)
Have a super Sunday and a great week!

Hi Flutterby and Sunflower. You certainly had a lovely coffee and cake Sunday. The sun was shining here in Australia, and we had a gardening day. Plus a little coffee and cake.We had the coffee and cake to celebrate the addition to our family of a dear sweet bunny called Frank.

Any reason is worth to be celebrated by eating one more piece of yummy cake! This seems to be one of the best - imagine if in 5 years they will still be a winner....? :D
Have a wonderful Sundayafternoon and the whole week ahead!
Hugs and kisses

I agree with you....time flies very fast and this means we get older quicker!!! :) :) I hope you both have a nice Sunday and who would say no to cake??? Even when it's more than what it should be!! :)

19 pieces of cake? No wonder Birgit
said no. You should have bargained for 19 strawberries instead. Such a big event calls for celebration.
Hugs to you, Flutterby, Sunflower and Birgit. Have a wonderful week.

Fluby, psst, come a bit closer....do you want to know how you can get 19 pieces of cake? Well, take one big piece and then you can cut it into 19 tiny pieces, so that's how you will get your 19 pieces of cake :D LOL!! No, I am joking, Birgit is a very wise Mom, listen to her, she is right: too much cake won't be delicious anymore and it is not good for the small tummy of a flutterbearie, like yours.
I hope you all had/have a nice Sunday and I hope the day was so sunny as it was here. I enjoyed a lovely family visit, more about that soon....;)!
Big hugs to all of you, Schepje und Ilona

Aww, too bad about the 19 pieces of cake, Flutterby! Good for you for trying, though. It doesn't hurt to ask! ;-) Happy Sundayafternooncoffeeparty to you! xo Jennifer

I got 2 pieces of cake yesterday, because we had Mother's day here in Sweden. I was allowed to take more, but I thought 2 was enough, I could never eat 19 pieces.. Hope you at least got one piece =)

Well, It is no longer Sunday.... but it is still May!!! So May I please have my Sunday Cake now??? And certainly not 19 pieces.... Birgit is Wise... it would not be fun to get sick from eating too much cake! It was a Holiday over here... so I have been too busy to even come visit until now... but I'm very glad to see Sunflower was able to come back for a visit! She looks very happy to have a turn in the Mug!
