Es war einmal... der Felsen der Weisheit

Hallo,

... my, am I excited - Birgit passed the fairytalebook to my paws and said, she'd be convinced I would do a good job with reading from it... My very first time - and right at my start a story about the mysterious giant present from Melli... thrilling, very thrilling... but enough of that small talk, let's go:

Once upon a time... in a secret place, far far away and yet quite near to us there lived a beary witch called Magica de Spell happy and content in a comfortable but yet very narrow witch tower who lacked of space. But today's tale doesn't start at the witch tower, it starts on quite another location, in Birgit's livingroom or to be more exact in the garden of Strawberry Cottage, where Flutterby was just sitting on his terrace and enjoying the nice weather and the sunshine on his fur.

He had just filled himself a good mug of coffee and planned to start an intense but yet short relationship with that strawberry cake lying on the dish before him, when he suddenly heard a voice: "Excuse me, are you the flutterybeary who runs a blog?" The voice came from the garden gate and Futterby looked up and wanted to answer - and got such a shock that he almost fell off from his chair! A dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a dragon standing in front of his garden gate!!!!!!!! An unknown dragon... nobody he'd knew from the witch tower...

Flutterby's mind was running in feaver, what should he do? Fluttering away would be needless, the other one had wings too and was bigger and faster than him, and the house wouldn't protect him from something like that, especially not with parts of a thatched roof above it... all these thoughts were running through his mind when the dragon started to talk again: "Excuse me, I didn't want to frighten you. I'm only looking for the flutterbeary with the blog living in a Strawberry Cottage and I had a strong feeling I could be right over here." He grinned and all of a sudden he didn't look dangerous anymore. Flutterby calmed down. "Well, in that case, you were obviously looking for me, so come in. Eh... that is, if you do fit in my garden. My name is Flutterby!" The dragon didn't care about the hint about his size and slided over the garden wall. "Nice to meet you, Flutterby - and I'll watch out not to cause any damage to your beautiful garden. My name is Farrell and I wanted to meet you because I've heard you are connected to the place where Oberon and the Unicorns of the Rainbow live. "

Flutterby was still amazed how elegant the big dragon slided among his garden patches, but the words of the dragon made him listen carefully. He knew the presence of Oberon and his herd at the witch tower was a secret that had to be kept, because the unicorns were in serious danger. Where did this dragon get his knowledge from? Then Farrell talked again: "I understand, you're a beary that's a good keeper of secrets... but I know Oberon and his herd as long as the time runs and in some way we belong to each other - as well as the Unicorns of the Rainbow bring the colours to the world, it's the four wise dragons bringing new hope to the world. But things are getting more and more difficult because everything's becoming more and more hopeless  - and in the meantime even ourselves got into a hopeless situation and need help. We're hoping, my friends and I, that Oberon may be able to help us and this witch Magica where he lives. Oberon told me you'd be able to call her anytime..." Flutterby had made his decision and nodded. "Yes, I can, but for that I have to go in the house." Farrell beamed with joy. "Thank you for your help - I'll wait."

Flutterby went inside the cottage and took the little box from the shelf Magica had given to him and opened it with shivering paws. The magical crystal shone with a bright light as soon as Flutterby opened the box's lid - the beary tried to concentrate und muttered the formula: "De Spell, de Spell, it's not a trick - I'm in need for help, please come quick!"

At the same time but in another place the Magic Mirror was again near to a nervous breakdown because the three teenage dragons Ruby, Emmy and Purple spent their time again on their favourite hobby - Drive-The-Magic-Mirror-Nuts.

To his big relief suddenly Mysteria de Spell appeared, shooing away the dragons from the mirror: "Okay, kids, let the mirror get some rest.. and whatsmore, I have to drape my hat a little bit." And while she was draping her hat, the Magic Mirror just wanted to relax when he received a message. He shouted: "A call for help - a call for help from Flutterby!"

Only a wink of an eye later Magcia and Mysteria de Spell appeared in the garden of Strawberry Cottage and understood what had happened at once. "Well, Flutterby, that's a heavy case of dragons in your garden, isn't it?" Mysteria laughed. Magica remained serious. "I recognize you - you're Farrell! Meeting you here can't be a good sign." Farrell nodded. "We're in need of help... and I hope we'll be finding it here..."

Die de Spell-Schwestern wechselten einen Blick. "Nun, Farrell, dann erzähle mal..." sagte Magica und Farrell begann...
The de Spell-sisters exchanged a quick look. "Okay, Farrell, start your tale..." said Magica and Farrell began...

* FORTSETZUNG FOLGT / TO BE CONTINUED *

*zwinker*
Eh, what's going on... why does the story stop at this point... oh my! But okay, I'm deserving a good honey milk now and you're deserving a little break. And how the story goes on - well, to be continued! *wink*

Hello Gingham,
Wow, you are a wonderful story teller I have really enjoyed this post. It must have been so scary for flutterby when he saw Farrell at the garden gate. Me and Fragolino are excited to read the next part of the story, I hope magica can help Farrell the dragon.
And Flutterby, I hope you enjoy your honey milk, I think you definately deserve a break :)

Super gemacht Gingham!
