... today I'd like to show you the rest of the beautiful gifts Birgit and I received from dear blogfriends at Christmas. And of course our friend Melli did not forget about us, a huge parcel was delivered to our home.

But inside were not only Melli's gifts for us but also a present for us that Melli sent on behalf of Shania, our youngest blog reader. I can tell you, Birgit and I experienced a strong case of eye sweat after unpacking this:

Little Molly was sewn by Shania from a free pattern Tinchen shared at the Advent blog of "Zimt und Sternchen", we already admired her there and at Melli's Blog. Molly is a beautiful, enchanting bear - and for all of you who didn't know this so far here comes something to say "Ahhhh": This is the work of a 6-year-old girl! Incredible, isn't it?

The first things from Melli we brought to light were several tiny treasures, among them some miniatures and nailstickers for our 2nd Witch Tower which is going to become Birgit's next project.

We also got a so-called advertisement-packet - inside was a year's supply of sweets with attached comments that are well-known from German advertising, like for example "because you're special, too..." *gulp* And again there was something in our eyes...

... which didn't pass when we unwrapped this - dear blogfriends, I'm proud to present today: Our new "Kaffeeklatsch"-mug for the coming year!

Es müsste doch wohl V.I.B. heißen - für "Very Important Bearies"... *kicher*
Melli noticed our "Kaffeeklatsch"-cups became smaller from year to year. And because she was afraid we BiWuBearies would be forced in about 2 years to enter an espresso cup she sent us a kingsize mug with a note saying BiWuBearies have a right for enough space. Thank you, Melli... in the name of all BiWuBearies, this is indeed a relief - but I must admit I'm wondering - there's a typo on that mug, isn't it? It should of course say V. I. B. - "Very Important Bearies"... *giggle*

But Melli would not be Melli without also thinking of our silent blogreader who is known in real life as Birgit's Mom (or in my case my Granny... *teehee*). And because Birgit's Mom has a faible for snowmen Melli made this one for her:

He's a cutie, isn't he? But I'm not that sure whether his way of warming his hands at the candle is a good idea or not... *wink* But this wasn't all yet... another highlight was still to be found in the parcel... He was a bit tired after the journey in the box so I asked him if everything's alright. But he said he was never feeling better but floating all the time would be boring even for a ghost. Well, he's the one with knowledge about that, I may introduce to you:

Egomil, the ghost of our forthcoming Witch Tower. Another miracle made by Melli, we've been over the moon with him and thought this would be it, but there was still something else in the parcel. And it was really a coincidence that it was the last piece we unwrapped, and then these two inseparable friends came to light:

You need to know that these are mini versions of Melli and Birgit. Melli is the Nightowl because due to health reasons she barely ever sleeps, and Birgit is the White Rabbit... no time, I'll be late... When she unpacked these two, I could barely recognize my Birgit again... the eye sweat was flowing in floods.

You may have noticed - we've had a wonderful Christmas Eve... and I've spent the days of Christmas cozy and nice with my new friends in my Cottage having loads of fun.

*schmunzel*
But this wasn't still everything when we're talking about our Christmas presents. There's one gift missing - of course the gift I received from my Birgit. Blogfriends who are following us for a long time may already guess what it is... anyhow, I'm going to show it to you next year! My, how that sounds... I still have to get used to that... *smile*

Genießt das letzte Wochenende in diesem Jahr!
Enjoy the last weekend of the year!

So many thoughtful minis! And is this bear really sewn by 6year old girl? Can I borrow her to sew a few things for me? ;) I am impressed! LOVE the photo of sweets! Does this mean you have to censore the names, Brigit? LOL!
And love the couple of Friends-Nightowl and white rabbit! Soooo sweet!

LG

What lovely gifts, Flutterby and Birgit! The bear is amazing, and the owl and bunny make a wonderful pair, just like Melli and Birgit. I must say, though, with all of that crying, it would be a good idea for Birgit to drink some water to avoid dehydration. :-) I look forward to seeing Birgit's present to you, Flutterby! xo Jennifer

Melli
